Rise Above My Station [Commenor]

Ardgal didn't move, even under his helmet his facial expression didn't change. Sometimes the sheer stoic nature that always being clad in armor seemed to bring about was one of those things that had a pretty strong intimidating effect on most beings. There was just something about that dehumanizing effect that always got the adrenaline going for most beings.

The bartender came closer, but the warrior dismissed him with a silent shake of his head. He waited a second more, just to be on the safe side, before continuing their discourse.

"Sometimes businesses change," he hinted with the emotionless causality that a bystander or eaves dropper would have just taken as social fluff rather than the code words to help initialize a transfer of the space station to other hands. "The galaxy is a wild place. Even planets have been known to change ownership every now and then."

Virgil sat up even straighter as Stardust came to her table. The warrior's hand instinctively pressed on the holster of her pistol.

Stardust Raxis said:
not a bad day for a drink huh? Especially with my vod
"I guess so," she said evenly to the statement, cool as ice. Just because the Twi'lek removed her helmet didn't mean the stoic cousin felt the need to do the same. She didn't even move at all, under her armor, ever muscle of Virgil was tense like a caged tigress.

Stardust Raxis said:
they said I'd have two others here with me in guessing you the two...
Virgil was suspicious by nature, but being a godkiller only intensified that. The process had made her feel even more distant from people than before. Sure this lady claimed to be here to meet them, and sure she was classified in the databases as vode status, but Virgil still didn't trust easy.

Stardust Raxis said:
names stardust raxis riidur to gray raxis pleasure to meet ya
"The pleasure is mine," she said in a flat tone. "Virgil. I'm just here to wait it out as our ship gets refueled and a tune up."

She gave a chuckle as she looked around, her eyes focused on every target she could find before she looked inside of the helmet to clean a few things out of it before she slipped in back on, she looked over at virgil, didn't take a expert to know she looked teamed up even with all that armor on. So stardust sat back and whispered

at ease, I have no intentions of harming you nor him...hes my family and one I've not seen for awhile

She said as she glanced around keeping a eye on how the business was going with ardgal making sure it wasn't gonna go south any time soon...least not till it was time for action. Stardust looked over to Virgil again and her eyes seemed to scan before she chuckled

godkiller huh? You have my respect for sure now...your type is a bunch of hard to kill suckers...i should know...fought beside them on castameer

Kendall chuckled, "I realize that must sound suspect, the station has been long lost to the planet Kwenn, from which it gets it's name. Currently Kwenn Station is controlled by a rather large band of pirates, and as such it is a largely wasted potential." He layed a picture of the station on Kay's desk. "Quite large, yet only being used to house pirates. If it were to be liberated the station could flourish, it has high potential for a good trade hub, and serves as a rest stop for travelers, and in times like this people are moving as often as they eat. However, that is just the beginning.

He reaches back into the folders and pulls out a star chart, with multiple points focused on Commenor, and Kwenn. "As you can see, Kwenn station is placed quite delicately. Right on the edge of Hutt Space, and directly in between said territory and Commenor. Admittedly Commenor is far from the region, but I believe that Kwenn could serve as a foothold for Commenor in a otherwise inhospitable place. Not only will it increase your trade in the region but serve as a defensive buffer toward those less hospitable parties." Kendall sat back and paused from his pitch, realizing he hadn't given the Queen an opportunity to respond. He knew Kay had previous engagements with the cartel, as well as her inclinations against slavery, and so believed he could use that as a way to gain her support.

Kwenn Station:
Bordly put down his drink after the strangers neutral comment. It was a mistake not to have an official code-word or phrase, but the pirate had a feeling that that was as close as they'd get. Bordley looked around carefully, placing a piece of paper under his cup, and standing up. "Three minutes." Bordley walks for the exit, trying to continue his typical actions, nodding at his fellows. At worst he was unintentionally hitting on the Mando, at best the man would come to meet him at the maintenance tunnel entrance a small walk from the Cantina, the location written on the piece of paper. They couldn't stay at the cantina for the meet.

Three Minutes. Ardgal's hand eased the slip of paper from its hiding point as Bordley made his exit. The warrior looked as casual as could be--I mean, after all it took a lot of effort to read anything off a guy covered in Phrik power armor. He flipped over to his private comm unit in his hud with Virgil. [Going to scope this out, stay here.] He noticed Stardust's presence. He knew how cold and paranoid his cousin was. They would have to work on that. [And give her a break, Star is on our side.]

He casually made his way out of the door into one of the stalls in the refresher. After checking the slip of paper out and mapping the way in, out and a few exit strategies he flushed the slip and made his way to the maintenance Entrance. He wasn't scared of anything really, the warrior knew he could punch his way out of this situation if worst came to worst. But that didn't mean he wanted to. Into the shadows he lurked, waiting for the contact to show up again.

At the mention of Castameer, Virgil relaxed slightly. When her cousin gave her the order, she relaxed even more. Not totally, but for her, it was as close as she would ever get to being chill.

"I was there," she said with a hint more of softness. "First wave, call sign Red Vector." There were lots of Twe'liks in this galaxy, it was hard for Virgil to tell the difference from time to time--ok, most of the time. Even an au gmented being like her had a hard time always keeping up with everything. "First wave, on the ground." Her hands moved from her weapons by her side and instead crossed her diaphragm, slumping back slightly, "I will take that as a compliment. We are some of the best at what we do, ma'am."

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay listened to [member="Kendall Ginn"] talk about the Kwenn Station. As he dropped the picture on her desk, so too did her gaze fall upon it. Kwen Station was indeed large and would do well as a space port. She had been to a couple of them during her slave rescue missions. If refurbished, it could make the owner quite a good profit, not that she wanted to own it. Kendall seemed quite keen on doing so himself.

Next came the map. She sipped her tea and leaned closer to get a better look at it. Kendall had indeed done his research. She had full respect for those that did. Most others were too lazy. There was much potential for Commenor there, given it's position, yet not entirely in trade. As always the safety of her citizens was paramount.

Kay looked up to Kendall. This was such a mission that she used to enjoy. Yet it was too dangerous for her to go herself. After being held captive already, she wasn't going to look to have it happen again any time soon. [member="Veiere Arenais"] would be very upset if she did. "You need men. How many?" She looked to [member="Darlyn Excron"] . "Can you get a team together? And yes, you can go along too...."

Stardust gave a chuckle as she sighed, yea castameer...that hellworld she was glad got destroyed. Definitely something that had out a weight in her mind a nightmare that she still to this day couldn't shake off despite it...not because of the fighting but because of how many were lost

At the mention of the call sign star gave a frown and sighed

red vector....gods...i have the order for them to land first...

She said as she shook her head as she pushed away the thought of what she saw when she landed after the first wave....she looked over to her

That you are...it still haunts me how many we lost that day...just so many I didn't think would be lost....

Before he knew it, [member="Bradshaw Ku"] was running off up the ramp and onto the ship, Veiere's gaze doubling back to search for Cillian a moment before he heard the rush of the thrusters whining into power and scrambling for the boarding ramp before it might raise up behind him. The Vagabond had fortunately been prepped for flight though that wasn't to say Veiere himself was comfortable and as he felt the landing struts shift and the freighter ascend from the ground, his stomach lurched and he stumbled somewhat against one of the pylons securing the wall on his right, his brows furrowing in sudden apprehension; whether that was over being the new fatherly figure in Brad's life or simply flying again, he hadn't yet decided.

"I'm too old for this..."

He grumbled to himself as he straightened his back and willed himself to walk as normally as possible despite the craft now being in movement, albeit slowly leaving the landing bay that they'd only recently built for the estate. Over the comm's Cillian's voice could be heard both alarmed and paranoid. "What the hell Veiere, I was just getting started on the hull?!". It did nothing to reassure him, what in the hell was wrong with the hull of the Vessel was beyond Veiere. Typical ware and tear he hoped, less tear and more ware...

"Kid, this wasn't how I planned to lose my lunch..."

He called ahead to Bradshaw as he stumbled his way into the cockpit only to see the tree's passing them by just beneath the craft, from the looks of it they were heading out away from the estate towards Chasin City, hell, Kay might even recognize the ship had she been outside of the palace by the time they cruised over it, the older of the pair strapping himself into the co-pilots seat and throwing the kid a rather flustered look,

"You better be up to the task, I've not actually piloted this thing myself..."

He had commanded the Chimaera, a Stardestroyer and yet when it came to the Vagabond, this was Cillian's baby. Commissioned both to Veiere, neither aspect of his transportation coming with the other and yet his pilot friend had become rather obsessive over the freighter.

"Don't scratch her or Cillian will blacken your eye, boy...".

Kay was absolutely interested, what was it Kendall saw in her eye? Nostalgia? Regardless he answered her next question on the beat, "That's the beautiful part, i've been planning this for ages now, as such I will only need, say ten, i'd even call it safe at 6 minimum as I've devised a way to minimize direct engagement." After his answer Kay regarded Darlyn, asking him to put a team together. Kendall was taken aback for a moment. "I suppose that is a yes? It should be said that our window is limited and time is of the essence, I will also need a pilot to get us there." Kendall expected at least a little haggling, though that very may well come when the proper ownership of the station comes into question. Kay was absolutely a keen individual and therefore Kendall would not attribute her acceptance in this situation to naivety, but to some level of trust. That was a welcome feeling, for a vagabond.

Kwenn Station:
Bordley walked into the maintenance tunnel at the allotted time, he saw the same armored man from the cantina. "You the guy? Kendall's guy?" Though this helmeted fella didn't look like an easy fight, Bordley felt better having a blaster on his person. The pirate had the last of his informant's instructions as Kendall told him, but he was nervous about a fire fight in the cantina for when the time came, and having a mandolorian on his side would be welcome change.

"You learn to live with it," Virgil said with an iron tone. It was the tone of a soul who had become so used to losing everything and everyone she knew that that was all she had left to live on, was pain, hurt, and pure brokenness. She didn't move, in fact some would wonder if she had any feelings left at all in her genetically altered bones, "People die every day. All the time."

Her cousin in the tech bay, meanwhile only replied with a single nod, "For the right price, I will do anything you want." He had come here to make money and one way or the other, the general would do just that. "Virgil and I are here to wreck this. You say when and where, this place goes down in a matter of minutes."

Virgil tilted her head to the side slightly, "I guess we can either let it make us weak and die, or we can keep on fighting and live. There's not much else left for us to choose."

it still doesn't help, I have fought 19 years through dozens of theaters, but i still can't get over any of it

She took a minute as she nodded and popped her back before she sighed and looked around the place one more time making sure no trouble had come up at

that's the truth...i may live with it but I have simply gotten stronger from it. That's how I've made it through the years and into queenship hahaha

Bradshaw Ku

Crown Prince of Commenor
Bradshaw’s smile grew as he heard [member="Veiere Arenais"] complaining about losing his lunch. He hadn’t paid attention to Cillian’s protests over the com. Instead, his hands were too busy dancing over the freighter’s control panel with childlike enthusiasm. It had been too long since he’d last been in the air. Unfamiliar with this model, he was, in truth, learning as he went and almost literally flying by the seat of his pants. That suited him just fine.

He hadn’t waited for Veiere’s answer after running up the ramp because he was too afraid the older man wouldn’t be up for a joy ride, and, with all the grumbling he was doing, Bradshaw patted himself on the back for being right.

He looked over to the Jedi, an arrogant grin playing across his features, “Scratch her?!” he said mocking shock, “I wouldn’t think of it. Don’t worry, I’m a professional.”

“Just relax old man and enjoy the ride,” he said with deceiving calm as his right hand moved to the main-thruster control. Now passing over Chasin city, he cranked the throttle to full power, a kind of hello to [member="Lady Kay"] and [member="Darlyn Excron"] below. The engines roared to life pushing the Vagabond forward with extreme prejudice. For a second, the acceleration was too much for the inertial dampeners, resulting in Bradshaw’s head snapping back into the headrest while the rest of his body compressed against the seat.

The dampers catching up, he quickly brought the freighter into a near vertical ascension.

“Hold on to your butt!” He'd always wanted to say that.

The freighter spun into multiple barrel rolls before finally leveling out to fly horizontal to the ground. His piloting was reckless, even he wouldn’t dispute that, but it wasn’t without technique or skill both learned and natural. It was great to be flying again, but, maybe it would be even more fun to watch Veiere try to pilot? He wondered. He had said he’d ‘picked up a few things from time to time’ after all, though he also said he’d never flown the Vagabond.

No time like the present.

Bradshaw leapt from the pilot’s chair, “Let’s see what you’ve learned, Jedi.” He slid into the copilot’s seat. Without a pilot, the freighter started to slowly tilt toward the planet.

Kay nodded to [member="Kendall Ginn"] . It had been a long time since she had been able to get back at the Cartel and in some indirect way, she was getting after [member="Thraxis"] too. That just sweetened the deal for her.

"You need a pilot, you say? Do you have a ship already? I could get [member="Bradshaw Ku"] to do it, unless he is busy. That boy seems to be itching for a mission lately." Having him go would give the ladies a break from his constant attempts at winning their favour. Oh she's heard the rumours.

Her eyes went to [member="Darlyn Excron"] for a moment, and then back to Kendall. "As long as we have a 20% stake in the station when she's yours, you have a deal."

"A ship, will need to be provided, anything I had at my disposal was not good enough to carry everyone I need, so if this Bradshaw has his own ship to use that would be necessary." He listened to Kay's quick finisher, an offer of a 20% stake, easy. Kendall wasn't in it for the money, he needed the positioning. "Then a deal we have Lady Kay. Once again I suggest we gather the force and depart immediately. I will give all the mission details to the crew on our way." Kendall stood and looked between her and Darlyn, preparing to leave with the head of security to gather their force.

Kwenn Station:

Bordley eased up as the stranger made it clear he was his man. "Well, I don't think I'm the one paying you, but we aren't gonna light the place yet, I just needed to know you were here. Kendall should be on his way and he told me that the signal to start would come, when the hanger blows up or something, for now we need to get my guys together so we'll be ready. You wanna wait it out or come with me, we can take the tunnels so they shouldn't spot us talking." Bordley quickly explained his next step to the man. He wouldn't mind discussing this more, but he definitely didn't like the idea of his crewmates getting suspicious.

[member="Lady Kay"] , [member="Ardgal Raxis"] , [member="Darlyn Excron"]

Veiere was quickly learning just how vastly outgoing [member="Bradshaw Ku"] was compared to [member="Lady Kay"]. Where Kay was stubborn in her determination and focus, Bradshaw was raw in his search for excitement and rash actions, it left Veiere wondering much about the boys father and just how well or otherwise his life had been shaped by parental figures of any kind. The little gesture across the heights of Chasin City did not go amiss as the engines fired in full and the Vagabond surged through the skies above, though most annoyingly was the bite to his age in being called an old man. Veiere remained in the co-pilots seat, his eyes moving between the front of the cockpit and back to Bradshaw in close study, he had not yet lost his calm though this boy was certainly trying to invoke some sort of emotional backlash in him.

The actions of a man spoke volumes as to their personal character; in watching Bradshaw he was learning more about the lad by the minute, though the minutes were accompanied by the thrashing of the ships thrusters and the sonic boom that erupted around the Freighter as they soared up through the atmosphere of Commenor. Out of nowhere, the boy soon decided that the Pilots seat wasn't comfortable enough and soon jumped into one of the two in the back of the Cockpit, Veiere turning to glance back over his shoulder at Bradshaw in astonishment, his right hand snapping out though not grasping anything but air, his hand opened and the force surged powerfully around him in his sudden need to stabilize the situation. Practicing telekinesis, while not touching the controls of the vessel physically, he kept the vessel firmly locked within it's ascension, allowing nothing to change while he continued to stare back at Bradshaw, his expression softening once he had everything under his control again.

"I personally, have not flown this Vessel though that is not to say that I have not kept a close eye on Cillian...-As it seems I will have to do the same with you" The end of his sentence coming off as more of a lecturing tone than anything, a tone he'd taken with many students in the Force regardless of personal history or family connections. "I'm just now seeing why you've yet to transport your mother anywhere...-You are her pilot are you not?", it was a jest made in open retaliation for the boys recklessness, these things were not to be abused and Veiere's trust had yet to be earned, trust that went both ways between them. Darkness surrounded the cockpit as the atmosphere disappeared and the black of space dotted with the far off stars of galaxies around them took to the front of the vessel. Folor could be seen not to far off, the distant moon of Commenor, one of two which they might have passed had Veiere not willed the vessel to even out, the engines dying without so much as a shift in movement of his hand suspended in the air, through one arm controlling ever one of the vessels primary functions, it soon falling to the arm of the forward co-pilots seat now that they had some quiet and so to the confines of a vessel such as the Vagabond to find some means of relating and getting to know one another. "Let's not question the experiences that I've taken on, but look more to the things that you still have yet to bring under thumb, Bradshaw..." He turned the co-pilots seat to face back towards the lad, Veiere lifting a leg to cross the other as he leaned back into the seat getting somewhat more comfortable, he was in no means rushing to get back to solid ground.

"You have some little experience in the Force, I can tell that much by the way it flows around you though it's sporadic which also tells me that you lack control...-Perhaps personal restraint if all of this is to be of any evidence to your typical day to day behavior. Do you want to grow in the Force, in yourself? Do you hope to learn and most especially have the mind to do so or will you be forever chasing stories of action and fantasy while Kay keeps your tendencies cushioned under the weight of her political reach?" Bradshaw was still all so new to the workings of political and political appearances on Commenor, this Veiere knew well though better he try to reign the lad in sooner rather than later, least Bradshaw intimidate the wrong person and wind up making things a whole lot messier for them all. His tone of voice wasn't condescending though the words he chose were hard headed for the truth of his perspective. The youth in Bradshaw made him unpredictable and only complimented his lack of self-restraint. "I could certainly think of better ways for the two of us to get along, than taking off with my ship and then leaving her to fall out of the sky least I not have intervened. I'm afraid that I am perhaps an old man, much to old and having seen to many men and women throw their lives away for ridiculous cause to play jest at the loss of our own".

"So tell me something instead...-Why are you on Commenor. Beside the obvious, you've been without Kay for so long and I'm truly relieved for you both to be in one another's company again but I want to hear your personal side of things. What do you think of the Government here, what do you want for yourself?".

Bradshaw Ku

Crown Prince of Commenor
Bradshaw’s posture in the backseat was at first one of showy relaxation. Leaning back in the chair, he eagerly watched [member="Veiere Arenais"], a cocky smile spread across his face as if he’d pulled one over on the Jedi. He expected a kind of panicked show from Veiere as he would surely jump into the pilot’s seat and in a mix of inexperience and confusion, fiddle with the controls in a perhaps unsuccessful attempt to level the Vagabond. Bradshaw wasn’t going to let the ship crash, of course, he would’ve jumped to action to save the day if it came to it.

The show he got, however, was not at all how he’d imagined it playing out. Instead of panicking, Veiere had apparently used the force to stabilize the craft. He didn’t move from the seat, he didn’t even touch the controls. Bradshaw’s carefree relaxed posture slowly morphed into one of awe and interest. Inch by inch he moved toward the edge of his seat the longer Veiere effortlessly controlled the ship, all the while multitasking by giving him one of those lectures so many on Commenor seemed so fond of.

Now thoroughly impressed by the older man’s show of power and control, not necessarily an easy feat considering how overly cocky Bradshaw was, Veiere asked him a similar question to what [member="Darlyn Excron"] asked him in their first training session. Except, the Jedi also asked him about what he thought about Commenor’s government and what brought him to Commenor in the first place. The Vagabond was clearly in Veiere’s control and the man didn’t appear in a hurry to land the ship any time soon. Might as well answer his questions, he thought.

“What do I think of the government?” he shrugged his shoulders, “I don’t know, what am I supposed to think? My mother is the Queen, that’s about all I know about the government. So, I guess in that case, it seems good, can’t complain.”

Now for the more personal question. He looked down at the floor for a moment as he worked through how he’d explain to his mother’s fiancé that what originally brought him to the planet was hatred of the woman he was about to marry. No point in glossing over his motivations, he decided, [member="Lady Kay"] could always fill him in about their first encounter in over a decade, if she already hadn’t. He looked back up at Veiere and stated matter-of-factly, “I blamed her for Shaw-Ku’s death, my adopted father. Not sure how much she’s told you about him, but I’m sure she’ll fill you in on the details if you want. Long story short, after running away, I hated her for letting my father sacrifice himself. It was childish, I know that now, but for a long time, I was a child. I saw that she was Queen of Commenor, doing well for herself, so I decided to pay her a visit and give her hell for the injustice for which I thought she was responsible. Obviously, it didn’t end how I planned it.” He said spreading his arms, pointing out where he was, the situation he now found himself.

Then came the question, the one that always got his blood boiling. What he wanted. His adrenaline surged just in anticipation of answering the question. With the adrenaline, came a surge in the force as the dark side was unconsciously summoned to him. This time, his voice had emotion, gravity, seriousness, “What do I want? The power for revenge. The death and suffering of Masq, my father’s killer. I want the same thing for my mother’s torturer’s, Darth Prazutis and Thraxis.” Beyond that, he didn’t know what he wanted.

His hands clenched into fists, muscles tensed as his anger burned, fueled through the force. Then, his eyes yellowed. His aura touched Veiere’s and his connection to the force kicked into overdrive as it fed off the master’s.

Veiere and the ship around him faded from sight. Darkness closed around the periphery of his vision before blackness pervaded all, then slowly cleared, revealing the vague impressions of a lightsaber dual. A man and a woman battled a figure cloaked in shadow. The shadow beat back the couple’s advances and violently thrashed back at them, causing the woman to collapse under the assault. At the corner of his vison, a blaster lay clasped in the bloodied hand of a fallen guard. This wasn’t the fight Kay and Shaw-Ku had with Masq, he remembered that one too well. Was it a memory of something else?

Just as suddenly as it began, the vision vanished, leaving only the Vagabond’s cockpit, Veiere sitting across from him.

Darlyn gave a hum, before shrugging a bit. "I'll be borrowing [member="Bradshaw Ku"] and at least two guardsmen. M. Ginn I would suggest briefing me on the number of individuals we can expect to need to take with us. Kay if you don't mind, alerting Ku to expect my call and check in with others you might wish to come with us. I would rather not take more than we need." He motioned to Kendall after addressing [member="Lady Kay"], admittedly in a less professional way for a queen (though perfectly fine, considering what needed to be done now), as he headed out the door. It would be at this point that Kendall would clearly see both lightsabers attached to Darlyn's hips as he moved.

Kay nodded to [member="Kendall Ginn"] as he agreed to the deal. "I'll have a large enough vessel for you and your team, as well as a contract written before you go. I wish you all much success."

Her eyes were then drawn to [member="Darlyn Excron"] . "I'm sure that Brad would jump at the chance to go on this mission. Have fun out there." She nodded to them both, dismissing them as she brought out her commlink and set it to [member="Bradshaw Ku"] 's private channel. "Brad...it's your mother. Darlyn's going to be contacting you. Be prepared to go on a mission to liberate a station. Time is of the essence."

Of course she had no idea that Brad was out for a...joyride of sorts with [member="Veiere Arenais"] . But no doubt she'd find out soon enough.

Lauri had just been notified of being moved to the special forces from the reserves. Of course, internally,
Lauri wanted to jump for joy, but showed little emotion. Due to his move, he got a chance to walk the palace grounds, nodding as he past a guard. The queen was having a meeting. [member="Lady Kay"][member="Darlyn Excron"][member="Bradshaw Ku"][member="Veiere Arenais"][member="Kendall Ginn"][member="Stardust Raxis"][member="Ardgal Raxis"]

[member="Bradshaw Ku"] was a wealth with emotion, none of which seemed to be easily maintained; the lad did not have the experience nor training that Veiere had been graced with in his life and thus his passions he wore upon his sleeve, so much heart and so little control around how much he was willing to display to others. Veiere did not blame him for feeling what he did, he recognized the boys reasons and understood the past that justified them all. "Your Mother has shared her side with me, yes. What happened to your Father...-And for that I am sorry. There will never be any answer to ease that pain though despite my former role as a Jedi, I too understand the anger that's pent up inside you for those responsible of your families decline..." Prazutis was a source of both guilt and anger that they both shared, though the man was not guilty for the murder of Shaw-Ku, he was by no means innocent, the epitome of what had become [member="Lady Kay"]'s fall unto the dark side, her torture and the theft of knowledge in all that she had learned to love and adore. "There are people out there who have wronged us, your Mother and I, just as they have taken from you...-But there too will always be someone out there ready and eager to walk over you to push their own motives ahead. This is the sad nature of the Galaxy we live in, it is filled with both good and the bad, to which you need to remind yourself that you have a choice in how you choose to respond, whether you decide to follow the path of those who have wronged you, or take a different path....-Your own path..".

In Bradshaw Veiere recognized a need for guidance though not on the same level as a mentor to a student but as a friend, perhaps even family if time and the boy himself would come to allow it; moral guidance of which had been stolen from him for so many years never having the blessing that was supportive family around him. The Vagabond's thrusters had died off completely now, to which point the vessel was simply adrift just beyond the atmosphere of Commenor, technology was a tool and it was as easily controlled by the power of the Force as a lightsaber was switched on by the pressure of his thumb. In comparison, such sentient designs were nothing compared to the infinite possibilities that the Force could produce; it took time to learn yet time was something that Brad still fortunately had going for him.

"Every decision we make in life ripples with consequences both positive and negative..." He continued to speak softly, his tone gentle and encouraging though his words he hoped would not be forgotten or so easily passed off as lecture; "As you are now, a beacon to the Force itself, it is drawn to you like it is to every man, woman or child who has a certain proclivity to it. Like your Mother, you are sensitive to it's call and you both hear and feel it's presence unlike the majority of citizens out there in the galaxy. You might believe this makes you special, that it pegs you above the rest; just as the Sith have always portrayed. The truth is that it only pushes more responsibility on you to know how to use this power in the right way...". The struggle of Light and Darkness was the oldest story in the book of life, whether religious or moral, arguably both, all people in some point in their lives are introduced to it and few continue to live on without the temptations of either side of the Force, "You are connected to the Force in a way that most cannot understand. It is the natural flow of life and it does not stop with the physical body, it pierces the soul and it connects all of us together spanning the entire galaxy, we are all of its make..." Bradshaw would likely have questions, perhaps even lack the understanding of any of what Veiere was trying to teach him, yet it could all be summed up in a simple conclusion, a life long teaching of the Jedi Order.

"The Darkside of the Force is not to be trifled with. In pursuing this hatred for those who have wronged you, you will ultimately lose the most important part of yourself, the good in you, the integrity that you might have had otherwise. It may not seem important to you right now to want to live a moral and just life, but if you seek to gain power simply to destroy the lives of others the Darkside will consume you, and it will not stop there. It will affect your Mother, it will affect me and all the others who fall under this roof" metaphorical, they were the only ones within the ship yet Veiere was talking about them all as if they were already family. It wasn't a conscious effort but simply done on instinct and gut feeling. "There is so much potential in you that I would not wish to see lost to the enemy. Kay loves you, she wishes to protect you but these are decisions you have to come to terms with, decide for yourself how you wish to live...-I only hope that when you do decide, you understand what's at stake and choose wisely".

At Kay's final assurance Kendall remarked "You have my sincerest gratitude, I assure you will find this to be beneficial for all parties." Kendall walked out behind Darlyn, noticing the lightsabers he had strung on his hips, a force user then, always something to be wary of, but in this case it was welcome. "So, you plus the pilot, we will need at least three more men, up to five as we don't want to enter the target with too much aggression. Additionally, my name is Kendall Ginn, pleasure." Kendall quickly answered Darlyn's inquiry as he caught up to the head of security, reaching out his hand in an attempt to introduce himself properly.
