Ryloth Dominion Question

Right, Ryloth has stalled. Lots of people haven't even turned up.

What should we do to get this dominion rolling?

I would suggest we go back to doing the traditional objective-based dominions. Those seem to get more traction.

Go for something more Objective-based, as suggested above. It usually works better than those with broad mission parameters.

Alright, so I'm new here and I am aware that my opinion on this particular thread may not take much stock among all of you, but I'd like to offer it anyway.

I've been looking for a way to get involved with the Faction and integrate myself into actually getting somewhere with my character, so I've been looking over the active Dominions and such - I noticed two; Ryloth and Druckenwell. I saw that Druckenwell was almost complete, so I immediately tossed that out of the 'integration basket' and that left Ryloth.

When I went to look at Ryloth in its IC form, I noticed that it hadn't been active in several months ( I may be wrong, I skimmed a bit.). So, I came over to this neat little area and saw this thread and cast my vote in favor of starting a new thread with this format. I chose to start a new thread because I think that it is what is needed to properly get the ball rolling again. If you guys start over on a new thread, it's a clean slate for any who are still active here to join and participate accordingly. I also really liked some of the objectives that were mention in the above thread that I linked, and I would like to see them implemented in a blank thread.

I'm not discrediting the time put into the posts on the previous Ryloth thread, I just think that a time skip to implement the new objectives would be confusing and frankly a waste of time. If you guys were to start over, with these new objectives - which are so neatly and elegantly laid out and simplistic in nature, not to mention good story material in terms of RP, then I think it would reinvigorate the drive to complete the dominion. At least, when I read it, I knew that I would much rather take part in the newer thread than try to revive the older thread. I noticed that we were only two pages in, and I know that people put their effort into making posts in that thread already -- I just feel like a new thread would be the better option than complicating things with a time skip and new formatted objectives in the old one.

I understand that as I am new to the faction, my opinion may not be warranted (or earned), but I thought I should give it anyway.

I've been thinking about hosting a lavish ball to introduce this character to the galaxy.

I could do that on Ryloth. I'd promote it in LFG and open it up to the boards.
