I'd like
Freedon Nadd's Short Lightsaber to be reviewed and second chanced.
The reason why I asked for another Factory Judge to be assigned to reviewing my submission is because I was frustrated with the judgements I was receiving from Zephyr. The item is canon, having already been created and established in Star Wars. You can see it's Wookieepedia article
here.
My factory submission was to bring it into Chaos canon, so I could then submit it to the canon list, to stop others from finding it for themselves. But that is neither here nor there. The Wookieepedia article doesn't say the material in which the Lightsaber's hilt is made out of it. The only material it explicitly states is Rubat, which I had already added to the submission before Zephyr asked for amendments to it's materials.
I understood that "fast and more precise" is very ambiguous when it comes to Chaos PvP, so I made amendments to that description for Rubat. But as I have said, the material that it's hilt is made out of wasn't stated in the Wookieepedia article. When Zephyr asked me to clarify the material the hilt was made of, I was confused because of this reason, but I complied with the amendment and said the hilt was made out of Phrik, as that seems to be the type of hilt Freedon Nadd would have used to construct his Lightsaber.
But amendment Zephyr asked for- a development thread for the Phrik- does not make any sense whatsoever. He was effectively asking me to get hold of Phrik, to construct a weapon that was already made centuries ago? The weapon was already in existence and was subsequently found by [member="Joon"] in Freedon Nadd's sarcophagus, as clarified in the submission's description, during a whopping 63 post development thread.
For these reasons, I request the thread be second chanced and a new factory judge be assigned to it's ruling, and perhaps together, we can succeed where I and Zephyr failed. The Lightsaber was supposed to be a reward for my apprentice after all her hard work over the past five months and it is frustrating that common sense wasn't applied to this ruling, which has slowed down our roleplay over the past week. Annoyed is an understatement.
