I found what I was looking for, if that is what you are asking. He said abruptly as he stepped further along the path, the Temple was in sight and so were the other two, he did find something but that was not really something Malcolm need worry about, nothing personal to him, it was personal to the big guy. Caltin did not look at or open the anything of what he was given, he knew the family, therefore he "knew" what would be in there. It would be a "two sided sword" and therefore it was not worth getting overly excited about just yet.

Coming up to the two of them and finally opening up the scrolls, his thoughts were confirmed. Detailed step by step layouts of the place.

This was from the family of the same Ithorian who stole the lightsaber of the Jedi Master who taught Caltin the Niman lightsaber form and posed it as his own. So he was a bit "reticent" to really just "jump in" with this information. He then silently shook his head.

If these are as valid as they look, that means those swindlers looted the dung out of the place. Not unexpected, but I would not expect any huge important archaeological finds.

The temple was beautiful as she entered and with malcolm and Caltin joining them they could proceed. The jedi grandmaster was looking at the walls of the temple as she placed a hand on the one. her senses pushing into it when she listened to Caltin. "Perhaps, but there is always more to a temple then treasure and depending on who built it and when." She said it as she was allowing the force to focus through the stone and shifting some of the vents so a smaller droid could go into it. "They used to have sub-basements that could only be accessed by the jedi." She said it and there was the chance... the temple itself would be able to serve a purpose for her. "We do not have to worry yet... the temples potential is in what we can do with it."

The entry to said vault was at a wall by what was once the gathering hall. The very floor was difficult to discern as he looked down and summoned a little wind to clear some of the dirt and dust. Almost constantly referencing the details of the notes he was reading, Caltin finally reached out through the Force.

Slowly the area of the floor began to shift and twirl before a section action stacked onto itself and rose up before the rest collapsed and formed a bit of a staircase. It was actually a testament to the style of engineering it took to not only build the place but to keep it as secretive as it is.

Now that was cool.

"I know right." Matsu said it looking at the large man and offered a grin. THis was what she enjoyed.. the sense of discovery.. the finding and the seeking and as she was walking looked dow. "THis is what it is all about... going into the unknown or at least going to someplace few others can reach." Her hand came out as she focused and the force formed in it... golden light making a glowball that she could use to light the way down. SHe was following it with interest on her face. "Is there any details about special inventory that might have been here? Equipment, training aids, traps?" She said it and the chance of things being around was slim sure... something still functioning might be low but if they had a collection of power cells it could be unstable or other things could have broken down and degraded to be dangerous.

He actually followed Matsu and the others down so that he could read through the notes and texts. So far there was little to go on but Caltin was not deterred, it was when he found something but a legendary Zabrak Jedi Engineer, not one he could confirm but judging but the journal entry and the writing style is seemed as such. This was some information the room.

According to this, it was a repository of texts, there are supposed to be two different setups that hold the information that we might be looking for.

There were several different artifacts, “prototypes” of their time, holocrons lined the shelves, if they were real.

She listened to Caltin list it off and the idea of prototypes was interesting. "Hmm if things are here we might be able to make use of them or even if just the designs." She said it and moving through the corridor. She was allowing her senses to expand outwards as from room to room she drifted more taking them in and searching quickly with her eyes then stopping. The sub basements were usually but not always laid out in such a way they could access areas from any point so if they were going to be able to do anything... she paused for a moment and crouched more looking at the wall as vents could be sen and the jedi master spoke. "Is there any indication of something below us... not just sewers but maybe something else?" She said it but didn't know how to describe it while she was moving and allowing the force to guide her. She checked over it while motioning towards some of the other rooms. "If there are any holocrons or texts left intact it would also be good for us to get them... most are standard but occassionally you get a few goodies."

He actually found a prototype design just as she was bringing it up, one for a “Jedi Starfighter” that looked somewhat like a cross between an ETA-22… or whatever it was called… and an X-wing… maybe an E-wing… Heh, I should show this to Coren Starchaser , he’ll be so jealous. He was of course kidding around.

Hold on.. Reading the text notes, Caltin moved over and touched a wall. It opened to more steps downward. Those steps came with a very pungent aroma, it was the smell of death. The look on the big man’s face said it all.

I’m sure that we’re not going to like this… Slowly, he walked down the steps, not waiting for the other three and eventually out of their sight until they heard…

Looking at Caltin initially seem to be excited was different.. usually he was the straightman to the mor essentric jedi he dealt with. The stairs as he opened them went a way and he moved faster. The jedi master moving down as the stairs ended at length with a long gallery ahead. The room opening up and it looked more like a room from the coruscant temple, fountains and waterfalls... with still more doors ahead. The jedi master was looking aat it while she held a glowball and set it in the air to illuminate the area.

The second door leading to another stairway tha was smaller but the jedi master moved forward. Guiding herself in the force but also with Caltin there who could add to them as the stairs opened into another room... the floors, ceiling, walls, trees, flowers... carved from polished stone. A strange look but the ebony look gave it a strenge look as each angle reflected the light around the room casting shadows. Several arches of dark crystal reflecting the light aand absorbing it as Matsu looked around. "This is someting." She said it aand waas looking while she motioned with a hand and a smaller lift was in the central area of the room. The arches surrounding it.

The lift came as she focused and brought the force to the room.. operating the mechanical parts without the power needed just from manual will. The central aarea opening up as what looked like a massive flower rose up. Ivory petals thhat twisted and opened. The stark difference as the thousands of white cushions housed a child. sitting there and looking infinitely pale, delicate and frail. Her skin so pale it almost seemed tissue thin and transparent, almond shaped eyes with golden iris were serene and untroubled by the situation. Her small body wrapped in layers of silk flowing and combining with her long hair white as snow. "Welcome to the white ward."

Looking around, he was expecting something… else… but when the “flower” rose in the center and he saw the child in the middle of it, Caltin wanted to do something violent. Caltin was not thinking about violence towards a child, of course not, but the thought of whoever would leave this child here. The most “civil” thing he could do was angrily shake his head He was unable to understand why someone would do this. He just wanted the person to stop and bring the child to safety. He was determined to find the person responsible and make sure the child was safe.


Standing in front of the construct, he had a familiar look in his eye. He was indeed “the straight man” right now.

I am not going to pretend to be as knowledgeable as you are in the Force, but seeing this…


He did not say another word about it, he wanted to pick the child up and ensure that she was safe, but what if he was approaching this wrong? Perhaps Matsu knew something he did not. Perhaps Jairdain or @Malcom Ironmaster did. This was something that was … wait… what if this was… no… stop and let things play out.

She moved back and it was two fold.. first in seeing the flower as it were come up... stark and almost blindingly white against all of the dark around them.. and then the child in the center of it.... "The White Ward...." She said it and paused holding a hand up and motioning. "Check for traps." She said it and looked at the other jedi as she moved around and was checking the central area. Energy shimmering while taking in the dark gold eyes of the child. "What were the White Ward doing here?" She said it and would have to explain to Caltin and the others... there wasn't a lot of information about them and even less the jedi liked to acknowledge.

The girl seemed to be thinking about it for a moment. "I wouldn't try and get through... they didn't want people taking their prize away. The entrophic field suspends me in a living stasis." There was a look as she barely needed or could move. Only turning her head to look at the others. "The White Ward built this place under the temple, a parasite hidden in plain sight so that they would be able to experiment, to grow and fester... to work towards their goal." Matsu remained there and nodded. "I see it is like the temple on Arkania." She moved around and was looking at it. "But a living stasis... cruel.. worse even it looks like they infused the force here to suspendthe interior so the circuits won't degrade."

She was looking at it more curiously and backed around as she spoke towards Caltin.. the energy rolling off of him as she spoke. "The White Ward were a sect of jedi who were founded on the belief that humanity could not be trusted with its own freedom. What they did not realize was that if you tried to take that freedom, the galaxy resists." She said it and looked at the girl. "Humanity needed to surrender its freedom willingly. They have has been secretly feeding crises, reaping wars and when history wouldn't not cooperate, history was changed." She said it finishing as Matsu looked on. "They have done things we have only learned about long afterwards."

Looking, actually more glaring at this “structure” just brought out the anger in the big man more and more. He did not hide it or even try to control it. This was wrong and an insult to what the Jedi stood for, no matter how long it had been around, no matter how “revered” it might have been.

It is taking every ounce of self-control within me to hold back from tearing this entire kiosk apart.

He did not care about their history at that point, he cared about what he saw, and what he saw sickened, angered, downright infuriated him. Mind you, he did not move, he just stood there, glaring at the structure, almost as if studying it, looking for a weakpoint.

"Please don't break it." The jedi master said it less in fear of losing the technology... it was cruel but more because. "We have no ideaa what could happen to her. Entrophic suspension already has risks under controlled and ideal circumstances. Waking up others from that can lead the body into shock or worse." She said it while still examining. "BUt they don't do anything without a purpose. Those labs on Arkania under the temple stole padawans in the night and made them into things. What did they want to do here?" She was stil examining it and had moved to the floor. One hand motioning for Caltin as she was following it. "Look for a seam, something we can pry the floor up and opened."

She waited for a moment as the girl spoke. "Theological manipulation. They wanted to understand and use the force to preceive and influence past events. Flowwalking, manipulating the timestream and way things happened. If they could isolate the means to do it then they would be able to implant on worlds a cultural mythology that they would be able to meet. A standard that saw the people flocking to serve and be ruled by their messiah." THe jedi master looked up and listened to her as she felt unease with that. "Something like that would be dangerous and even the most skilled can barely stay in the past long enough to observe some events."

"Yes but if they could create a single point that existed at all moments. SOmething not of the living force but of the cosmic force." Matsu was debating it mentally as she found it.. a faint flicker f energy and was following it with her hand along the floor. "But if they could do that then they would need something that could contain it and...." She trailed off when she was thinking aabout it and looked up and over. "Frak." She said it and was looking at Caltin as he might not be caring about the why but the how to end it. "The lines to it go deeper into the floor. There might be a control room under the floor. Look for stairs or for something to get us down."

Taking a breath and calming down, Caltin began to look for said seam. He was not finding one at the moment, but there were several leads to what could be one, so all was not necessarily lost in this department. He was not really understanding, or caring to understand the “why” on what these sentients were doing. Thanks to the words of this girl, it was more fuel to motivate him to find some way underneath this.

Caltin was just about to punch his way into a spot on the floor when he heard an uncharacteristic curse from the Grandmaster and request to find stares.

One step ahead of you.

Pushing hard into the floor the energy of the Force flowed, centered and drew down into his fingers, tearing into the floor. Ripping the pieces and chunks out of the ground revealing the “open space” and steps leading down to the lower level. Once there was enough room, the big man was running down the steps and out of sight.

A few moments later everyone in the room would hear You’re gonna wanna see this!

"I am fairly certain I don't." The jedi master said it to herself and the area... lower then she maybe needed to as Caltin was down there but she was going. Looking at the girl in the pod as it were. She started to descend and she knew some of the horrors that they had encountered. She still went down and was looking at Everything.... then she was wodnering how deep this might go. "This is certainly larger then the temple at Arkania... I wonder if there is a master one or a map to where they built their facilities... it would be helpful to shut them down." She said it and to herself it was an important thing... if they could do things to shut down all of the potential facilities it would help... and also reveal if any of them were still aaround... unlikely but one could never know. She thought it entering the room to see what Caltin had found.

She would see Caltin standing in the middle of what looked to be some kind of laboratory, or maybe was one at one point. He was looking through the notes for something… anything that would tell them about this. There was nothing as all he could do was look at the gears and lifts that were holding up the stasis pod. He was frustrated and confused, unable to find any answers. He stepped away from the pod, trying to think of what else he could do, when he heard a voice behind him. It wasn’t behind him though, but in his head.

“Unreal…”

Huh? Looking around angrily, he looked back on the notes and found the word “Unreal” and more notes but in a language he could not decipher on his own.

Oh no you don’t.

Pulling the comm-link from his belt, the big man turned on the translator to which the document was scanned and the words “Child is unreal…”

Again, you’re gonna wanna see this, before I go up and smash that stasis pod.

She arrived and looked at Caltin and at the lab... allowing her hands to come up as she was searching the room with the force and mentally mapping it... Caltin seemed to be finding something as the jedi master moved around and check everything. "The girl is unreal?" She said it and was looking at him but not confused... "A lot of things here are unreal but..." SHe said it and moved as she was looking down and then up.. her eyes searching before she levitated herself up towards the ceiling as she was focusing and brought her saber out from her sleeve. The smallest slip witnin the sleeve was holding the blades as they came out and the solarite hilts were silvery smooth. Highly reflective and gleaming with force energy as she had designed them to be some of the finest blades. The snap-hiss as they activated with silvery white blades that pulsated blue-white energy discharges of lightside energy as she channeled it through the blades and the crystals. She had made caltin powerful blades aand her were just as technologically advanced but the crystal assembly changed it as the crystals she used amplified the cutting power to the point the blades were vaporizing the molecules of the stone from below to cut up and into it.

I am getting reeeeaaally sick of this.

Walking calmly up the stairs and back to the stasis pod, he looked at the “child”. He was no longer looking at her like she was one, he was looking at her like he was about to pull Conservator out from over his back and ignite the Sovereign golden blade. He was angry, but it was a bit of righteous anger.

I am going to give you a chance to tell me what you are, and what this is. One. Single. Solitary. Chance.

“Or what?” Her response was as simple as it was short.

Or I will rip this pod to pieces in the most violent way that I can.

“That is not the Jedi way.”

Her face and mannerisms were as emotionless as they were the moment eyes were first laid on her, but this was not going to work on the big man, not anymore.

Cut the crap, and answer my question… Holding up his left hand, he slowly pooled electrical Force energy into it forming some time of lightning.

The girl was looking at him as Matsu struck the power and the mechanism started to shut down. The jedi maaster focusing as she began to phase up and through the floor standing there a moment. Her body solidifying as she rose out of it and looked at Caltin being angry at the girl sitting there. Her voice coming out flat and emotionless. "This placxe is for manipulating worlds religions with manipulations to the timestream." Matsu was looking at her while she touched the barrier and it offered no resistance while the girl was sitting there. "Did I ever say I was the only one? To convince others to give up their freedom would require a lot more then a single girl." Matsu looked at her. "But you aren't a girl... not anymore at least." That got a look. "You can't be made one with the force and expect to remain human. Time and distance means little now but once I step out of here I will return to the force."

Angrily throwing the energy ball at the far wall, Caltin went to walk away but he walked back downstairs to take more notes, passing Malcolm Ironmaster along the way, he shot a comment.

You wanted to come here, You deal with her.

He was not trying to be abusive, or mean, but reminded himself that this was not his gig. Caltin was here because of what he knew about the planet, yes, but he was here by chance, if he had shown up ten minutes later to the Council Chamber on Commenor, he would have missed this trip altogether.
