Krux locked blades with the woman, staring coldly at her as he struggled against her defense. This was the moment when he realized how strange her own stare was. Ever since the second she saw him, her eyes never left him, and that alone started to make him incomfortable. What was worse was that odd, stinging sensation in the back of his head that suddenly seemed to torment him. It started to hurt worse and worse as her eyes remained locked on him, and suddenly, her devilish grin started to make the hairs on his neck stand on-end.

He scowled. What the feth is this schutta doing? he thought. One thing was for sure, it was time to end this saber lock. Krux began to feel anger building up in his heart again. That was unacceptable. Thankfully, he knew a good release. What was the first thing he did after becoming enraged?

Scream

To break the locked blades, as well as get this odd darksider's gaze off of him, Krux drew in a deep breath, eyes tightly shut, and let loose a deafeningly loud Force Scream, the wave of energy exploding out of Krux's maw strong enough to send the woman flying a dozen feet back, but at least far enough to seperate the two of them.

Teeth grit, anger and hatred now purged from his body, Krux exhaled, raising his off-hand again and releasing a wave of Force Lightning at the woman. It was hard to perform without the dark side in his mind and heart, and the electricity would be a noticably brighter shade of blue as it arced across Krux's fingers and toward his foe.

Kurayami had wandered through any tomb that he could find access to, whether a known location or not. Once within he had followed the same procedure as he had with the Great Temple, recording everything in the best detail he could manage to his datapad. This was the best he could do right now, he was not equipped enough to be of much help in hostage rescue and was just now adjusting to being able to sense things that were beyond his immediate reach. He could feel the fear, anger, pain, and death...and in the midst of all this he could feel resolve on the part of the Jedi who were present as well as a sense of calm from other areas. He felt the ripples from the Academy as Siobahn caused it to collapse. So many new sensations it was overwhelming and fatigue would soon set in. He wasn't done just yet though and he would be able to sleep on the journey back.

All of this assaulted his newfound sense and the death bothered him the most. To be able to feel to a degree what each person experienced as they passed from this life into the Force. It brought with it the wonder of what his targets had felt, were they afraid of what awaited or did they simply accept their fate? He wondered on this ass he contined to scan ruins as he worked back to his ship in a rather circuitous fashion. One could not say that his path back was an efficient one. That was not the objective though. The information even these simple recordings may yield could be far more important than getting back to the ship before he got hungry. Or they could be worthless, revealing nothing new.

At least once he was onboard he could start the upload of all the recordings and start cross-referencing databases for image matches and follow leads from there. And Raylia thought he hadn't paid attention when she was doing research. He felt a pull towards the left, towards the towering wall of rock that seemed to be nothing more than that, a cliff face, blank and empty of any identifying marks. Switching the recorder back on, he approached the wall, scanning it with all available HUD displays. Still there was nothing that truly stood out to him, and yet he could feel the Force calling to him within. Zooming the camera in as far as possible he repeated the scans, this time there were slight variations within the wall. He reached out and gently placed his hand on the wall, running his fingers slowly over the surface, he used only a gentle pressure as he did not wish to cause damage if possible. As he did so it was easier to notice that the variations were not natural, rather they seemed to be weathered carvings. What of was the question? Continuing to run his hand over the surface he began to brush away what debris he could, what was revealed seemed to be either a glyphic or runic form of writing. He had seen many variations of both while working with Raylia on her digs, but these didn't fit any of those that he could recall. She would know however, and given the pull to this spot he wondered if there was a tomb contained within. Who would it have belonged to and was the defacing intentional or simply due to the harsh climate? What was clear was that the time to investigate this discovery would come later, not now.

Finishing his analysis of the tomb entrance, he marked the coordinates on the map and made his way back to the ship. His, A-12 sat there, hull gleaming in Korriban's harsh light. A small smile played over his features as he reached his home again, he reflected on everything he had experienced thus far an wondered what was yet to come as the ramp lowered. Making his way inside the craft he let the ramp close lifting off soon after setting up the datapad to upload all recent recorded video to the ship's computer. Analysis could come later, for now he needed rest. He set the autopilot and made his way back to his quarters onboard, removing only his helmet before laying down. The headache was still pounding and mentally he was at his limit, he barely had time to get into a comfortable position before he was asleep. What he had found he would be happy to share with his comrades, until then he would try to sort out all he had found and learned on the desert world.

Looking over more of it now the jedi master could see parts of the tomb clearing debris aside to continue in as the feeling of others on the world came to her. The sigil continued to vibrate and Matsu was pushing force energies into it to implant the sense of serenity and harmony to focus on the force users. She was infusing it ih the force energies more when the sensation of the darkside pulling deeper into the tomb came. Scoring from blades and cutters were there before she sensed more from her old friend or something that felt like she had been there but it was much like the sensation on Felucia that she had felt with Rasu.

The 3 civilians and Cloudburner had finally made their way near to the entrance. Upon arrival, the tomb was rumbling and a few Graugs were behind them.

"I'll stay here and fight off the Graugs, you take your injured and get out of here before this tomb collapses."

Just as soon as the 3 Civilians made their way out of the tomb, the entrance collapsed, and Cloudburner was left inside to fight the three Graugs.

"I smell Jedi Blood! Time to die, Jedi!"
"Now is not the time for jokes, Graugs. The Entrance is now blocked. We cannot escape."

He force pushed the Graugs onto their backs, from there, he would attack and kill all of them with his Lightsaber. From there, he smiled sinisterly and crushed their skulls with his boot.

"I smell Graug blood, it reeks, badly, and now it's on my boot."

He walks away, trying to find an alternative route out of the tomb. He opens communications with [member="Krux Mullarus"].

"Krux, this is Cloudburner. The entrance is blocked. If you can, try and topple the boulders over, Force Push won't work, so you are going to have to use something, heavy. For now I'm going to search the rest of this place, find out more intel relating to the Sith and the Graugs, and find a way out, over."

There was a potent irony to be found here. The Sith had ended up fleeing from his presence whereas the worms possessed the gall and nerve to stand before him in battle. When the account of this day was told Gwrtheyrn would be sure to stress that the crawling carrion had more of a spine than the Sith. It left a bitter taste upon his tongue but then again both the wench and the worms that had emerged from the earth were parasites suckling upon the galaxy. He would merely slake his thirst for battle with the insectoid menace instead of the bipedal sort.

Reaching for the Firbolg - a gift from one of his dearest friends he aimed the massive cannon towards the massing drones. The first and second rounds went wide by a few feet. Gwrtheyrn was not a good shot at the best of times and with his unusual ineptitude for all things mechanical even a device as simple as this was not entirely trustworthy. By the time the third shot was fired the worms had reacted to the deafening noise of the solid slug weapon going off and decided to mass the aggressor gaining victory through sheer numbers and bloody minded determination.

With the range greatly decreased a slug finally connected causing one of the bugs to explode like an over-gorged tick. Another of the creatures attempted an assault from the side with the aim of wrapping mandibles around Gwrtheyrns face. Instead of finding the smooth carapace in it's teeth however it found a vicelike grip around its throat. The barrel of the Firbolg was put in its mouth and in a remarkable display of wretching timing jammed. With a snort of frustration the Silver Jedi flipped the weapon around and used the butt of the gun to cave in the creatures skull.

Then the roof started coming down and the true reason for the Jesters flight became clear. It seemed that Dune had been trying to warn him to leave the temple for some time and due to his distraction the Knight was delayed to the limits. As if sensing the impending death darkside wraiths phased up through the floor their emaciated limbs reaching out for the Jedi there. Dune yet again displayed his mastery of telekinesis to banish the shades while Gwrtheyrn put his force imbued blade to good use doing what a lightsaber could not and rending the haints asunder.

A falling piece of masonry impacted his left shoulder. Enormous size had it's downsides - there was a lot more of Gwrtheyrn for the rocks to impact. The fact that the chunk would have killed or crippled an smaller being was not much of a comfort as his bones protested at the treatment. Upon exiting the deathtrap the young Maelibus leaned himself against a wall taking a deep breath to refill his lungs with air that was not laced with dust and smoke.

"My thanks. That you warned me of the danger does you credit. A lesser man would have merely saved his own skin."

"I am Arabella Darkhold."

Not a name he knew. Then again, he didn't go around memorizing the names of Sith; he held no particular grudge against them for one, and for another there were too many to memorize. He'd oppose them when needed, but would do the same against any he felt deserved such opposition. The Force was a fantastic judge when it came to that sort of thing.

Without being prompted, the woman spoke again after looking herself over.

"Have you ever gotten yourself in to a situation where you knew if you didn’t laugh you’d cry? I’m not a threat. I was searching the tombs, and…tangled with a Terentatek. I’m fortunate it stopped short of killing me."

There was a slight pause between the question and the remainder, which was accompanied by the beginnings of a smile. Odd, it wasn't really something he would have smiled about. It was the truth though, that much was corroborated by the Force. He could sense the Darkness within her, along with the truth of her words. And now that he knew to look for them, her injuries. Injured or not though, she was a Sith. If she was to go free, she would eventually kill; it was virtually guaranteed by being a willing participant in the Darkness. She had to be arrested.

Still a safe distance away but within easy speaking distance, the Sephi crouched. His unlit lightsaber was still in hand, but was no longer held in tense preparation.

"I believe you, Arabella. I'm Audren. I can't say I have, not that I can remember at least."

Heh. He was incredibly young for a Sephi, not even thirty standard years old. And here he was talking like he couldn't remember parts of the past. Imagine how he'd be when he was ten times his current age. Audren the Forgetful.

"Do you need medical attention?"

There blades where locked, and she was going to pound on him using both lightsabers. Then she could feel a sudden rush of energy, it was coming from him. She was then hit by sudden wall of sound, she felt her whole body vibrate. It pushed back, just out of swinging distance. She lifted her head after the wall had passed her, blood began to dip out her ears, and she felt disoriented, but she was still fighting fit. Then the planet must of possessed him, as he let out force lighting at her. It tickled her, she began laughing at him, as he did. She could not help it, it was genuinely tickling her. Her hide armour was particularly immune to this force power, she then ran at him. As she reached him she prosperously locked sabers. So she could start to hit her own lightsaber, with her other. She was going to pound her lightsaber, into his and try and make him get hit by his own lightsaber. Though she was beginning to sense he liked fighting her.

A silent, painful expression flashed across Connor’s face as his hand throbbed from the impact on the Sith – he hadn’t expected that resistance, and it hurt. Thus, the Electric Judgement wasn’t as focused as he wanted with the pain, and equally the return of the Dark Force.

Connor twisted and crouched down, holding his lightsaber vertically across his face to absorb what he could of the lightning – it was crackling all around him and he focused on the ground for those few seconds to absorb what he could. This beast certainly was fuelled by a blind, destructive rage.

It was then he felt the strength from another – Karen – away to the side and channelling her Force signature through him. It focused him, refreshed him, and empowered him. Opening his eyes and letting the Force sooth his muscles and his mind, with Karen’s support, Connor twisted and brought the lightsaber up and around sharp and fast with a cry of strength.

The Dark Lightning subdued and span out with his turn, dissolving seemingly in the air. But what Connor wanted to do, he did. He cleaved the head from one of the hulking grunts behind him with the sharp turn, aimed perfectly to act as a swift reminder that he was not like the usual Jedi who would consider all life equal – this was Connor Harrison, and he didn’t play by the rules.

His brow matted with sweat, the dark hair pasted to his skin, the Silver Jedi breathed heavily and wasted no time in moving forward, lunging out with his blue blade to keep the Sith in close proximity and aiming for the more vulnerable areas – the sides, the thighs and hands – anything to strike at and aim to weaken and cripple the beast.

Connor wasn’t going to make his return to action a futile one.

-Dom is over, who needs post limits anymore-

Krux cursed under his breath when his Lightning didn't seem to affect her at all. What was that, some kind of leatharis she was wearing? Well, all it seemed to do was...tickle her, which again, made Krux very uncomfortable.

Then, to make matters even worse, his comlink on his wrist made noise. [member="Cloudburner"]'s voice exploded from it. "Krux, this is Cloudburner. The entrance is blocked. If you can, try and topple the boulders over, Force Push won't work, so you are going to have to use something, heavy. He made a face. Come on, NOW? NOW you want help?! Just as he did so, [member="Harley"] came rushing toward him again. He lifted his lightsaber and began exchanging blows with her, noting how she now had two lightsabers.

Whenever he found a second between blows, he would scream irritatedly into his comlink, "I'M A LITTLE BUSY RIGHT NOW, CLOUD!"

Cloudburner walked the tomb searching for a way to escape, there was no way out now, at least, until Krux had finished his duel.

Cloudburner's lightsaber was his life now, if he lost it, he would be locked in Darkness, forever. He walked on, cherishing the weapon. He now started to run, climb through numerous holes and cracks and cut through the walls hoping the find a way out of this labyrinth of desolate darkness.

He stopped at the sight of a ledge.

"I guess I brought this grappling hook for a reason after all."

He threw it up and climbed.

"Do not look down. Do not look down."

He kept reminding himself of this. There was so many ways he could die in this death trap of loneliness.

He climbed up.

"What is this?"

Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a treasure chest full of credits and valuables. 400,000 Credits and a Sith Lightsaber.

He loaded his pocket with all the credits he could carry and the lightsaber and continued walking on to find a way out through a sewer pipe.

He was outside, he was alive and dirty.

He opened communications with the team, [member="Krux Mullarus"] , [member="Connor Harrison"] and [member="Karen Roberts"] (Backyard Boogie Crew).

"I'm out, and I found hundreds of credits, 400,000 in total, only 25,000 I could carry out, that means that we could split it. Each person gets a quarter."

As she attempting to bash her opponent down, using multiple lightsaber swings. She heard him shout into his intercom, "I'M A LITTLE BUSY RIGHT NOW, CLOUD!". As he did, she went to force kick him in the shin, she was planning on plumping him to the ground. She wanted to feel his emotion as she did, he had anger in his heart. She could feel his frustration, she could how uncomfortable she made him. She could feel all that, this mean the young man was tempted by the dark side. May be he could be saved from the light, and see the true power of the force. She liked how he felt, from the emotion coming from him, it was like this duel was meant to save him from life of servitude. She hoped to save him from that, the first thing she need to do was getting him to the floor. That was why she was force kicking him in the shin just below his knee cap, if struck with her raining blows on him, he might be dwon on one knee soon enough.

The swift kick to his shin hurt like hell, and it caused Krux to lose balance for a second. He couldn't regain his footing fast enough, so instinct kicked in, and he found himself reaching a hand out toward [member="Harley"]'s throat with an agonizing Force Grip, tightening the Force around her neck to hopefully immobilize her at least to give him time to refocus himself. He could feel himself getting angry again. Get ahold of yourself, Krux, you're not a Sith anymore, and you're not going to be one again.

Assuming he'd get the chance, he'd stand to full height again after immobilizing the woman with his Force Choke. It would probably be strange to the woman that a Jedi was using so many dark side powers, but they all came instinctively to him after so long serving the Dark Side. It was ironic if she wished to release him from his servitude, because he already was free from it. He was free from the chains that bound him from the moment he turned away from the Sith.

If his grip on her throat persisted, he'd grit his teeth and hurl her to his left toward a crumpled pillar headfirst, hoping to simply knock her unconscious from the force of the impact.

"Audren" she said his name. still there on her knees for a moment she wondered why she got out of bed this morning.

Cobalt blue eyes looked at Audren, so far he did not do the things that she had been warned about that Jedi. It was perhaps a trap. He was luring her in, waiting to be sure she was at her weakest and then kills her.

He was now crouching down, she watched him much like a wounded creature would, questioning each of his moves. Fortunately he did not come closer.

"it is an odd position to be in, to feel threads of fear, the unknown and to fight off that ingrained reaction. I simply laugh."

She sat back now, blood began to ooze from the wounds on her leg, thick and stick warm she put her hand over it. Her left arm was numb, her right hand moved slowly.

"Or to feel pain that goes from head to foot, and know that if a weakness is seen, it costs you your life" She truly believed that the Jedi would execute her, that he was still looking for her weakness.

He asked if she was hurt, now that was unexpected as well. "Are you asking me if I need treatment to find a weakness to kill me?" She looked at him, staring, waiting.

She tilted to one side for a bit. But her gaze did not leave him, she noted that his ears were not round they were pointed, oh...was he a selphi? How interesting. Never met a Selphi before.

It was from back to the future, as they need no roads where they where going

[member="Krux Mullarus"]

She felt the leather tighten around her throat, it cut in a little. Though it was resisting a little, she would still have to distract him, other wise he would begin to crush her throat. Hide armour had only partial resistance to this type of attack. She knew this, and she had not gone into a rage yet. She then with their blades locked, attempted to kick him in the side of his ribs. She wanted him on his knees and on the deck. She also got her lightsaber ready, to cut his arm off if he did not pull it in soon. She was going one way or another pound him, into lying down on his back the sands of korriban. Then she would show him the true reasons to be off the dark side.

[member="Harley"]

She lashed out with a kick, but he would have been just out of reach of her leg. No way he was sticking close enough to her where she could lop his arm off, much less kick him. His grip on her throat wouldn't tighten much, just enough to keep her where she was until the time came that he made his attempt to hurl her at a nearby crumpled pillar, destroyed in the battle that was still occuring.

Once again, despite how Krux had yelled at him that he was busy moments ago, [member="Cloudburner"] still contacted his comm again. "I'm out, and I found hundreds of credits, 400,000 in total, only 25,000 I could carry out, that means that we could split it. Each person gets a quarter."

When did he start hunting for treasure? I thought he was on a rescue mission!

The Graug were not happy that the Jedi had just taken the head of one of their fellow riders, roars and cries of revenge sounded off and they raised their rifles preparing to fire on Connor. Dredge however raised his hand having the crew of Graug stop what was going to be a rather brutal display of firepower, the Jedi was his and no matter what if anyone was going to end the man it would be him, not at the hands of some filthy Graug shooting him in the back.

But yet the man proceeded to grow in strength through the force and Dredge could feel it, he could feel Karen sending him her strength and energy. But he wasn't all that concerned about it, due to three particular reasons. The dark side nexus he held in his hand, the dark side nexus that he wore, and third and final nexus that they stood on. Everything on this planet was darkness and doom, and it only fueled the man, and there was one thing about Dredge that he was willing to do that Connor perhaps wouldn't.

The force was limitless, it was everyone and everything around them a doorway to infinite power. However organic bodies were not limitless, they were made of flesh and bone, they could be broken and stretched past their capacity until death ensued. All of this was something Dredge knew quite fondly of and he was about to show Connor just what a dangerous psychopath would do with these things at his disposal.

So when the lightsaber blows came Dredge couldn't block them all, he was a massive wall of armor wielding a bastard sword a meter and a half long, so he wasn't the fastest fighter. Vulnerable areas of flexsteel burned and did what they could to protect him, a saber cut in here or there but for the most part he'd be fine unless the Jedi kept his assault up on the weaker areas of the armor. But that only fueled the man's hatred, the pain was what kept him going.

The warlord let out a roar and soon the power of the dark side began to rush towards the man, the Inferno, the armor, the valley of the dark lord's, all of it came rushing towards Dredge's calling. Putting a bit of distance between himself and Connor that raw dark power was entering the man, fueling his hate and rage. He was like a balloon, a balloon being filled with too much oxygen and expanding rapidly.

"DO YOU FEEL IT JEDI?! DO YOU FEEL THE HATRED?!" the Vong yelled out as power surrounded him.

The Graug around Dredge knew what came next, they had seen what he was capable of in the past, and they knew there was a minimum safe distance to go. So leaving fast the Graug began to jet out from Dredge, it wasn't wise to stick around. Sheer waves of energy pulsed off of Dredge as all that energy built up inside him, that balloon was going to violently explode, but while he gathered energy and his men had rode away he was vulnerable.

It's over nine thousand, seemed somewhat appropriate here. Though Karen didn't need to tell Connor that. She could see without seeing. Feel what was coming. The Warlord was charging for something. Something, potent.

As such, she only increased the potency of the powers that she feed to Master Harrison. Reaching out further with her hand and clenching her jaw fast. Whatever Connor was going to do now. Yeah. He was going to be able to do it with 300% more power.

She only hoped he'd make it count.

"I saved the people that were inside the tomb and looted this lightsaber and these credits. Don't worry about me, Master. I can handle myself, and loot some valuable possessions too."

He overwatched Dredge and Harrison fighting, his blood boiled, but since his Master was in the area, he somehow managed to swallow the hatred and the sorrow he had developed for the Sith, for killing innocent people.

"Do we help him? What if he gets defeated, Master?"

Only the slight twist of a silver helm greeted [member="Cloudburner"] 's remark. For a woman engaged into the art of Battle Meditation was not one to be interrupted. It was disappointing too, that her Apprentice had returned to her side. At only 30 meters from the epicenter, it was now rather probably that should Dredge explode into a Repulse Wave or a Thought Bomb... Cloudburner would likely be caught in the blast wave too.

Ah well.

It was a good death.

The silver helm of Master Roberts tilted back towards Connor and their common plight. Her arms still extended, jaw clenched against the storm. Body poised to give it's power and her feet dig firmly into the ground. Channeling her connection to the Force. Giving everything she had to Harrison. Body, mind, and soul.

Having not even the smallest of amount of effort with which to reply to the soldier standing next to her.

Not even to wish him goodbye.

...

Do it Connor. Do it now.
