Staff's Currently Voting On Hybrid Species Restrictions in Character Creation

See I can dig that, you're still working on him, trying to flesh him out. So no harm done, and Im not trying to be a jerk here about it...I get it, there's a lot of near humans to choose from, and their all awesome. Personally, Vahla are my favorite, but Hapans, and Lorridans are tied for second. Its hard to choose...Im just..when you got it figured out...change it, so we all know what you are for us who are roleplaying with you.

I felt this should be said...there have been cases where mare mules can breed retroactively with a horse or donkey stallion.
So if that's a sticking point, maybe someone should throw a little wd40 on it and move along.
Remember kids, when it comes to breeding this is the way to do it.

I personally dont mind people being a mix of things, what gets annoying and rather "OP" is when they have the racial traits of EVERYTHING THEY ARE even if they're like "lol 5% Epicanthix" Another thing, when people are putting non human and near human species together. Thats basically creating a new race because of splicing genes and such. Non Human and Near human cannot breed with each other naturally with each other. Sorry guys that's something that would need to go into Codex.

I think when it comes to expecting to have traits, the limit should be 2. Even then the traits would be slightly diluted. A half-blooded Epicanthix may not be as strong in resisting mental powers as a full-blooded might be. After that I think it more goes into the realm of story and flavor based aspects when you say that you're 1/2 species A, 1/4 species B, etc etc.

Anything beyond that and expecting to have multiple traits and boons from the various species would be a science experiment and would likely require a codex entry.

So whilst I was busy pondering what color of baby would come from pairing a Red Twi'lek with a Blue Hedgehog, I realized from reading this again that [member="Reverance"] is a ridiculously smart man. Did anybody else read his replies there and go: Well, damn? I never knew that before. ...Cause. I know I sure did.

+1 Wisdom (does not stack)

[member="Jay Scott Clark"] Nah man, when you get wisdom from me... It stacks all the way to the roof.

Also,

Now, I would argue that coynite isn't near human. However, it's a valid argument that if something can interbreed with humans, then ispofacto, it's near human...However, I think the main conclusion that can be gained from that link is that the creators of star wars had no idea what they were doing, when they considered the notion of hybrids.

I was going to reply to this again with a Big Bang Theory GIF...

...But then I just spent the last 15 minutes looking at Big Bang Theory GIFs. :D

What ARE the Vahla anyway, [member="The Shadow King"] ?

Near Humans with a cartilaginous skeletal structure rather than bone, and they are all force sensitive.
It's why you mix them with something else >_>.

Plus I don't think I've seen a dominate Vahla on the forums at all, anyways.

I would like to find the lost homeworld and make it explode.

I think it'd draw the ire of the predominate dark Vahla out there.

I think out of the very very limited few - Ryan Korr is the only other Vahla who isn't dark side oriented. I could be wrong.

*shrugs*

I, and my daughter, are both pureblood Vahla. Only difference is the effects of Sith alchemy on my body versus her untouched one.
