Well, don't be so sure. Rumor has it that there is no New Republic. That the 'Jedi Hunters' and the Empire have had the rebels on the run since the battle of Endor. Supposedly, Luke has been living life as a hermit ever since, and his mental state is questionable.

That will make me very sad, if it's true.

I thought the Star Trek reboot was awesome. There again I've seen a grand total of 0 of the old Star Trek films/shows and my experience with it is limited to Star Trek Online.

I'm gonna say this now. and only once.

"Don't shoot it down till you know what it is." When you go hunting for anything, you want to make sure you really are shooting at what you are aiming at. So how does this tie in with a damned movie?

Forget about what the name change is, just go watch it when it comes out, then judge it. Not the other way around. If you expect it to be the best movie ever, then you WILL be disappointed. If you expect it to be okay and not half bad, then it turns out to be awesome. Surprise for you!

Didn't really delete it, just moved it into it's own separate category that will have nothing to do with the prime canon.

It's not gone, just re-branded.

It's kind of like what Marvel does all the time.

Usually the movie incarnations of the characters are different from their respective characters in the comic books, and the stories are either closely similar or very different.

Don't understand why people always throw a shizz-fit over what happened to EU.

A good portion of it was crap anyways.

Just be glad we don't have to consider Revan or Starkiller part of the prime canon anymore.

It really doesn't grab at me. Title, plot rumors that have aligned, ect. I really don't give a shit about Kevin Smith's opinion.
