Tatooine Meeting with Unexpected People

[member="Salis"] had stepped in to finish the last droid, her blade finding it's mark, fully removing the head thanks to the dent [member="Mike V'Trechen"] had left in it. The droid collapsed forward, apparently landing on top of Mike who was still on the ground. The droid was tall, but not exactly the heaviest considering its lightweight plating. Mike might have endured some minor pain, but he would be alright. Maybe a bit embarrassed.

The hum of their sabers was all that could be heard for the moment, as the action had finally died down. The turbolift at the end of the corridor suddenly chimed, opening up to reveal its empty interior. Obviously an invitation, as Salis' senses had informed her earlier. There was far more activity on the upper-levels of the ship, though none of it felt overly hostile. Mostly nervousness, anticipation, though the strongest by far was intrigue.

Salis leaned against the wall as the final droid here was dispatched, breathing in for a moment before shoving the droid off of Mike and giving a hand to help him up. Even with a slight chuckle about his call for help she didn't mention it. Soon enough the door would open and her attention would return to the matter at hand, so it was some kind of observation then. She looked upwards In thought, the feelings come from the upper levels going through her mind. Before looking back to Mike,
"We're being waited for, let's go ahead and let their patience pay off hm?" she said ready to go in, deactivating her saber. Though, in a moment, she could bring it back if necessary, drawing her blades back to her from the droids. And awaiting to be sure Mike would be coming with her. She was tempted to wait down here and let them come to her. See what would happen. But she worked best when on the move, and she didn't feel like giving them an extra hand in their decisions. She also didn't seem to sense danger, not yet.

As soon as Mike saw the turbolift, he knew that it will probably get more dangerous. Mike deactivd his lightsaber and got in to close the doors. While Mike was waiting on the doors to open again, he decided to ask Salis a question.

"So," said Mike. "Why are you hear? We never talked about that."

Once they entered, the turbolift doors shut tightly, chiming softly before shooting upwards towards the command bridge. Their ride was to be brief, but uninterrupted. A momentary lull in the action they had experienced thus far. A second to breathe and prepare for the encounter ahead of them.

'A grand build up to an even grander finale', the Pureblood reveled in his mind. Except, the elevator began to slow, coming to a stop on the fourth deck of the frigate. "I thought that elevator was manually overridden." The uniformed security officer looked up from the terminal pit of the command bridge, an apologetic expression on his face. The Sith sighed internally.

[member="Mike V'Trechen"] and [member="Salis"] were faced with two crewman as the turbolift door opened. The two Sith were given cautionary smiles, followed by turned backs as they stepped in, resuming the turbolift ride. If all went smoothly, they would get off one floor later, that being the fifth. The sixth, was the command bridge.

As they'd enter the elevator she'd answer Mike's question, "Well I couldn't just let you run off. You're liable to get yourself killed." she said, but had to brace herself as the turbo lift shot upwards, "You really have a tendency of running into the wrong type of people, Orex Mauda being the main occasion."

Soon the doors would open and Salis would put a hand on her designated lightsaber just in case, she saw two men giving smiles...careful smiles. Who stepped in, she'd keep her eyes pressed on one of them without mercy, waiting as they got off the next floor until they made it to the command bridge finally. It was obvious they hadn't been who they were supposed to meet.

She breathed in, "Here we go."

Mike was taken aback on what Salis had said. He never had anticipated that Salis would truely care for him. Mike just had a lot of things on his mind, like a marriage.

"Salis," said Mike. "Before we leave here, I need to talk to you. It is something important that I was trying to keep from everyone, but I feel like that you should know this. I am getting married."

The small command bridge was hardly packed. Only a few officers remained in the terminal pits, the Pureblood along with a single cloaked droid looming over them upon the deck.

The wall furthest from the entrance had multiple transparisteel viewports within its frame, granting those who looked out a spectacular view of space, and the rest of the frigate. His burning golden eyes were instead settled upon the bridge's entrance, awaiting the eventual arrival of [member="Mike V'Trechen"] [member="Salis"]

Salis went to open the door, clicking to make the doors begin to open just as she heard what Mike said, she stood up straight with a furrowed brow in some surprise, "Sorry...what? What do you mean you're getting married? Since when?" she asked, there was clearly a bit of surprise in her voice, that was certainly the first she'd heard about it. Hadn't even known anything was going on let alone that far.

Her eyes shot out the doors but her face still showed surprise for a moment, as she saw the viewports, the Pureblood. She remembered that one. He'd offered them to join the Sith Empire. Her eyes narrowed for a moment, and she moved to put a hand on Mike's shoulder for a moment looking back at him, "We're gonna talk about this later, I think right now, we have to deal with this." she said with a nod before turning to face the pureblood, looking at Mike again in thought. That statement wasn't going to vanish any time soon that's for sure.

She looked now at the Pureblood, though she glanced at the Officers and cloaked droid, "So this is your doing then. Well then, what's up?" she said. It wasn't an aggressive voice, but it wasn't the most casual either. He'd found and brought Mike here for some reason, she'd simply ended up coming along.

[member="Mike V'Trechen"]

Mike knew why [member="Ballen-Ist"] was there. He requested him here. Even though, [member="Salis"] did not know or understand why. Mike waited for [member="Ballen-Ist"] to talk. He figured that if anyone is gonna persuade [member="Salis"] , it has to be him.

The door to the command bridge opened, the tall cloaked droid spinning to face [member="Mike V'Trechen"] and [member="Salis"] as they were revealed. Why were they talking about marriage? This day couldn't possibly get any weirder.

Once their attention was directed to the Pureblood, he stepped forward, the plated uniform he wore glistening as the armorweave cape billowed in his accusatory approach. An arm lifted, pointing a gloved finger at the woman. His first impression seemed true now, after all. "What's up? You have no business being here, that is what's up," he paused, shifting his glare to Mike, who also stood in the entrance. Lowering his arm, he stepped towards them again, now beside the droid.

"The good doctor told me about your trip here. Are you Sith, boy? What makes you Sith?" As he spoke, the droid remained still but at attention, electrostaff gripped tightly in one hand.

Mike did not know what to say, so he tryed his best. He went up to [member="Ballen-Ist"] and ignited his lightsaber. If [member="Ballen-Ist"] was going to fight him with a staff, Mike should have his lightsaber.

"I am a Sith," replied Mike "Wanna know why? My parents died, when I was 18. They were exciled siths, but they were killed by a Jedi. I want to have revenge against the Jedi. The jedi should die! I WILL make this happen. They will burn."

Salis raised an eyebrow as she was told she had no business here, "I don't really give a crap to be honest. What you want with Mike is the question." she said coldly. Her hand remained on her saberstaff, her eyes going back and forth from Ballen and the droid, clearly more advanced then the last two. She narrowed her eyes as Mike stepped forwards and ignited his lightsaber, that seemed unwise right now, at least to her.

He spoke of his desire for revenge. This was not something Salis had. Salis had no terrible past, nor the deep roots in the dark side that Purebloods had. She was just really good at what she did, and had always had a fascination with killing and fighting. The Sith were just her way to grow.

[member="Ballen-Ist"]
[member="Mike V'Trechen"]

Exactly how old was [member="Mike V'Trechen"] at the moment, anyway? He spoke as if he had been eighteen years old decades ago. Nevertheless, the human clearly had a strong attachment to his family. The dark side was with Mike, it's power gathering as he stepped forward, lightsaber ignited. Neither the droid or Pureblood had moved in reaction, refraining from reaching for his own weapon, unlike [member="Salis"] who had.

"Your anger is a strong motivator, but will only take you so far. Both of your powers are meaningless, compared to anyone with greater experience. You must learn to control that anger, boy, lest it control you." The command bridge had grown quiet, many of the officers present having excused themselves subtly during the conversation. The stars outside of the viewport shifted as the frigate lurched forward, no longer docked with the space station. The hum of the engine filled the background within the ship, as it headed towards the nearest hyperlane.

Mike agreed. He did not really have any experience and all of his masters left him. Mike extinguished his lightsaber. He had a question on something that was really gnawing at him.

"This has been TOO easy," Mike said. "Did you set all of this up? What would you want from us? I am really considering your offer, but how would I know that it is a trap and you will kill me?"

Salis watched as people exited, ever skeptical of Ballen's plans. When the ship started to move a number of plans soared through Salis's mind on how to deal with things if necessary. Breaking the viewport was the simplest, she had her mask on, she'd be able to force her way back inside without having to worry about breathing.

She remained quiet however, watching Ballen and Mike speak, she calmly moved, to the side. She didn't need to be near them, her hood finally moved off of her head shaking her hair off her neck with a free hand. Could get rather hot that way unless she was moving or in a colder climate. Her hand was still on her saber, but just as before, it remained unactivated. Of course, it was designed to be activated at a moments notice.

Eventually she commented on Mike's statement, "There's always what he said before."she added simply, in reference to the last time they met Ballen. The offer, of the Sith Empire. She said she'd think on it, she had, she was still undecided. However, it was Mike who he had come for. Of course he was a more preferable target for such a thing she felt.

Listening to what both [member="Salis"] and [member="Mike V'Trechen"] had to say, the Pureblood thought back to what he had told them on Abafar. It was clear the woman was not fit for the Sith Empire, not at the moment at least. Shifting his glance to the boy, Ballen-Ist would shake his head, taking another step closer to the two. The Super MagnaGuard flanked him now.

"Your display in the cantina was truly worthy of death, human. Still, I sense potential in you. Killing you would be a waste, especially after all of this," he said, pointing to one of the computer consoles below, which had recordings of the mangled droids in the corridors on the screen. "You will face further trials alone, without any assistance, if you are to accept my offer."

Mike walked up to [member="Ballen-Ist"] . He knew what he wanted to do. Mike had to learn everything and his masters kept leaving. He saw that this is the only thing that he could do. He walked up to the Sith Lord.

"I will go," whispered Mike. "I know that it will be hard, but I do not have a master. All of my masters keep leaving me. You are the only one that I respect. I pledge my loyalty to you, sir."

Well then, their decisions were made. Salis wasn't sure that it was the right decision or not, but it was a decision. On the one hand, she almost felt...uncertain, about not actually being able to protect Mike. She felt quite aware of this consciously and it made her rather ill at ease. He seemed to be in a good position still. At least, right now. Sith, after all, were not always easy on their apprentices.

She raised her head in thought, "Well then, now what?" the question was asked very simply and was not directed to anyone in particular. Just out. She wasn't going to make any request for herself to joint he Sith Empire, she didn't want to. Certainly not right now at least, but she didn't exactly feel like fighting was necessary either. Which meant her actions would be based on others

Looking down at the boy, Ballen-Ist could not help but nod. Though it was likely done unknowingly, [member="Mike V'Trechen"] had just passed another test, with his words and actions. By nature, the Pureblood believed himself to be superior, but Mike had not knelt or bowed to the Sith Lord, he had not disrespected himself by lowering his head in submission. That was a good thing, something Ballen-Ist had been taught long ago.

"Then it is done. Your training will begin once we arrive at our destination," he spoke to Mike, looking behind the boy towards where [member="Salis"] still stood. The Pureblood moved, aiming to walk right by her, through the still open command bridge entrance, and towards the still waiting turbolift. The Super MagnaGuard followed behind, urging Mike to do the same with garbled droid growls. "It will be a day or so until we get there. You may come with us, or leave in the shuttle before we enter hyperspace." He said, glancing briefly at the woman.

Reaching out towards the mounted control panel, Ballen-Ist pressed his gloved finger against a button, causing the lift doors to open. He stepped in, expecting them to do the same.

Mike followed his new master out. He figured that he had to ask where his quarters was, even though, he really thought there was any. Mike already had a wife. Why would he want to be here?

"I need to do a hologram meeting," said Mike. "Could I have a room all by myself, sir? I would really appreciate it. It will help me alot. Is is possible? I am not trying to be rude to you all."
