Tatooine Meeting with Unexpected People

Salis walked into the elevator calmly, folding her hands together and leaning against the wall in thought about the mention of whether she would get off soon or when they arrived, she'd figure that out soon. But right after Mike spoke about a hologram meeting Salis remembered what it was that still had her mind all perked up, she pushed off the wall and pointed a finger at him, "You still need to explain how I hadn't heard about your freaking marriage."

She spoke actually somewhat offended at the fact he had yet to tell her about any of this.

Repressing a groan, Ballen-Ist stepped to the side in the turbolift, waiting for [member="Mike V'Trechen"] to enter, with the MagnaGuard doing the same. He didn't know why [member="Salis"] and the boy insisted on talking about such trivial things in his presence, but it was definitely getting on his nerves. Besides, it wasn't likely to last long, after all was said and done here.

Pressing another button, the Pureblood input the lift's destination for the fifth level, causing the doors to slide closed as the descent began.

Mike was in the evevator. He tried to determine what to say next. Mike had a idea. He continued his conversation with [member="Salis"] . Mike finally saw his chance.

"I am married to a princess from the Fel Imperium," said Mike. "She is nice and pretty. Her name is Maria V'Trechen-Fel II. What do you think? We are smitten with love of each other."

Sales glimpsed at the doors as they closed before her attention returned to Mike and his answer, ”The Fel Empire? Well-“ she brought her fingers to her forehead, breathing for a moment, her voice calmer this time but seemingly still frustrated, ”Whatever, congratulations. Really surprised you never told me still. Took all this to find out and accomplished nothing else.” she said.

Overall she was somewhat irritated with today. She’d gotten to fight sure but all the rest felt kind of...worthless.

Ballen-Ist knew of the Fel Empire, but there were only so many details he was able to call forth from his mind. The Sith were not on violent terms with them, so there was nothing to be concerned about, for the moment. Riding in the turbolift elevator, the trio soon returned to the hangar bay floor, stepping into the hallway they had once fought through. The frigate's engines roared audibly for a brief moment, as the hyperdrive powered up.

[member="Mike V'Trechen"] seemed happy as he talked of his marriage, but he would not be seeing his bride for several months. Perhaps it would aid in fueling the dark side energy that had already gathered within him. "Your quarters will be across from the barracks, boy. You may send your messages, but don't expect privacy," he spoke, stopping at the corridor intersection that led towards the hangars and crew-quarters.

[member="Salis"] was the last one the Pureblood had to deal with, and while he was incredibly confident in his combat experience, he knew that there were always alternatives. "I recommend you speak with the Doctor, if you do not plan on leaving. He may have use of your skills."

Mike looked at [member="Salis"] . He did not want to hurt her by leaving. Mike wanted to see Salis out. Salis was his best friend and colleague. He really liked everything Salis did for him.

"I really hope that you change your micd, Salis," said Mike. "I really care about you. You know that TJE is doomed. Why stay with them? You should join us. You deserve it."

Salis waved her hand to the side at Mike's comment, "Maybe, maybe not. But that doesn't mean I belong here. It may be time I explore...alternative routes, than that of a sith." she answered. She still wasn't sure about that idea, but she wasn't sure she wanted to join the Sith Empire either. At least, not as a Sith. She wanted to learn more yes, but...she began to wonder if the Sith way was the one she wanted to take. "Take care Mike, I'm sure we'll meet again."

She looked at Ballen in thought about the comment of the doctor possibly needing her skills, she was skeptical about it, but she had little else to do at the moment, "Alright, maybe, where?" she wasn't opposed to a kind of...assisting him in something, so long as there was some profit from it.

Mike looked at [member="Salis"] . It was sad that there days together was numbered. He hoped that she would be ok with whatever path she takes. He really liked Salis. Mike cared about her.

"May the force be with you," said Mike. "I hope that you would find everything that you are looking for. If you need anything, call me. We could always meet at a cantina or something."

Standing around wasn't his favorite thing to do, but there really had never been a rush in the first place. [member="Salis"] had asked the whereabouts of the cyborg doctor, and so the Pureblood tapped his wrist-communicator, pressing only a single button before saying, "He will be here to meet with you shortly." They were likely to figure out a job that she could complete, under employment of Holowan Laboratories, not the Sith Empire. Doctor Upari was a very twisted cybernetic man, but not enough to be considered worthless.

Now, [member="Mike V'Trechen"] was the center of Ballen-Ist's attention, the red-skinned Sith looking down at the short human. "We'll be entering hyperspace in a few moments. The ship will be passing right by territory claimed by the Jedi," he paused for dramatic effect, "and this is where your first trial begins." There was still time before they arrived, and they were unlikely to run in to any complications along the way. Even if Salis remained on board, she would still be able to leave on a shuttle once they reached their destination.

Salis nodded a final time to Mike with a wave of the hand before her attention returned to a new matter, the doctor that was supposed to be coming. Naturally, as she waited, her attention would be kept up. Always skeptical even now, she was searching for threats. But also, just to busy herself while she waited.

Mike looked at [member="Ballen-Ist"] . He knew that it will be very dangerous, but he was always up for challenge. Mike did not care about what his new master called it, it is always a test. He was ready to please his new master with his skills and knowledge that he knew of and about.
