Teachings of the Blind Seer

Cassia nodded at Lavania’s words, she knew that it would take a good deal of practice to reign in her powers. While she didn’t open herself fully to the force, she let her senses extend further than before, trying to heighten her awareness. She listened as her master mentioned that she was on the search for a creature, one that was made of legends. “What kind of creature?” Cassia asked eagerly, her blue eyes lighting up at the notion of adventure. While Cassia had certainly heard of the Jedi, she had little experience with them, and had close to no knowledge of their ways. “Is that the reason we have come to these mountains?” she asked, feeling the curiosity bubbling up inside. The possibility of locating this creature was very exciting, and Cassia continued to walk along with a renewed energy.

"I am not certain, there were legends, there were rumors of something that could rival the rancor but they were not seen for a long time. I thought being in this remote place waiting for Petra or anyone to return would allow me to find it after I wept for my sisters. Perhaps it is a little madness but I have been here for a very long time." She kept walking and leading the way while she could feel her student and going towards the forests in the distance. "We will practice your skills and grow them here in the mountains before we head back eventually. You'll returned changed of that I am certain."

Cassia’s brows raised as she listened to her master speak. A creature that could rival the might rancor, she could only imagine. She wondered exactly how long Lavania had been waiting in the mountains, Cassia remembered that Lavania had mentioned that the nightsisters had been scattered across the galaxy and were no longer a cohesive clan. She wondered what it would be like to live in such an isolated area for so long. She nodded a few times when her master informed her that her training would continue here in the mountains, it did seem like a very effective setting to aid with focus and concentration.

“I look forward to the next lessons.” Cassia smiled as she continued to walk. “And perhaps we will even find this legendary creature.” After all, one could never be certain where their paths would lead them.
