But of course players may still take damage from NPCs

I love how auto-hitting NPCs wasn't a problem for the TU last invasion.

Anyway, I'll be posting to [member="Irys Arist'lar"] soon, and hopefully [member="Sigma"] is still up for a dogfight with [member="Sannika Brynn"].

I'll be ignoring any non-PVP/fleet engagement tags from here on, FYI. This map thing is impossibly confusing with so many players and I'm not going to waste my time browsing the entire thread to see whose NPCs are where and why it's relevant.

My assumption of the basis for this whole site was to create cohesive and believable stories for us to enjoy writing and reading.

Whether you want to read or not, when you or anyone else says that you are going to ignore what someone else has written, it puts a very bad taste in my mouth. I hope we are all here to have fun and make a good story...that is just my 2 cents.

Also, my recommendation will be that if NPC actions won't matter in an Invasion, then leave them out. Have it be just a bunch of people in a room slugging it out. I'll still join, but I won't worry about writing tactically for a group of NPCs then. As of now, there is no logical reason for Aron to move from his spot. He is within range to totally decimate the Foundry and Air Base and no one is coming near him to threaten him. As I am a certain brand of crazy I'm not crazy! ​I won't be just arbitrarily changing Aron's goals.

So whoever wins this Invasion, there isn't going to be a foundry or an airfield. Just saying.

I'm ignoring it because I was getting eight tags an hour from people in I-don't-know-what hexes and I'm not interested in spending three hours scanning the thread to figure out who is where and what they're doing to my artillery. Auto-hit my NPCs if you want. I'm not here to work a job.

Ahhh, I misunderstood the intent of your comment. It was less about ignoring people's NPC actions and what not and more about people not listing hexes in every post.

On that I agree with you. The map doesn't work well if people don't list their Hex in every post.

I agree, that is why I took the ridge at S1610 and commenced to rain hell on the foundry.

Whenever I do a next post I may move and take the air base under fire, wouldn't want it to feel left out of being decimated. (And Yes, I plan to diminish it by 1/10, then again by 1/10, and again and again....)
