Death.

The sickening sweet feeling of lives being snuffed out, souls sent screaming to the netherworld of the force was oddly satisfying for the man known infamously as the Dark Titan. Time after time on the field of battle he witnessed soldiers die and there was nothing more satisfying than seeing the light fade from their eyes before the end. That was of course until recently when when the Sith Lord acquired the legendary Daesumnor, Blade of Hunger from the vaults of the infamous Darth Kryptus.

The legendary soul siphoning runeblade was filled with thousands of souls, an unbreakable vault of endless pain and suffering inflicted upon the helpless victims to fall by its wielder's hand. Darth Kryptus forged a legacy of blood carving a path of destruction across the galaxy with his iconic blade, but no longer. Now he would continue the path of destruction, allow the legendary blade to gorge on the souls of the One Sith Empire’s enemies. It was interesting to the Sith Lord how the blade hungered for dealing death, how it projected images of death and destruction into his mind trying to stimulate the hybrid into throwing himself into the throes of bloodthirsty rage, but he wouldn’t let it control him.

Darth Prazutis charged through the halls clad in his iconic Dreadplate Armor with Daesumnor in hand. The mans powerful dark side aura was only magnified by the power coursing through his blood by the hand of [member="Soeht"] coupled with the auras from the dark side force crystal Valthris, Daesumnor, and the aura of uneasiness from the Primordial Ring respectively, it rolled off of him like a fog unique and unmistakeable as he brought the blade down again and again. The very visage of the Black-Iron Tyrant [member="Darth Vornskr"] who taught him the ways of war.

He sensed the presence of a powerful force user on the ship, and with Darth Erebos he was moving like a crashing mountain to fall upon his prey.

Moments of silence in an otherwise bloody affair. Sorched ground ahead of them, you could tell an ambush was close. Bodies underfoot, each showed the failed attempts to breach inward, or brave defenders who had given their lives to stop those attempts. Then it came, grenades forward and aft, bolters crashing into their advance, men were thrown down or covered in shrapnel, each loss cut home into him as another fallen hero. Little did our advancing acolyte know he’d soon to be tangling with jedi bombshells and funky medics, sadly the bodies piling up at his feet couldn’t bring them here soon enough for all concerned, the carrier was beginning to resemble a battleground true enough. Of the five or so company's left making for the bridge, and five for engineering, they were each taking different routes and being blocked or cut off. What was a walking wall of riot energy shields however, were holding up well in these confined spaces making way to the bridge, exactly as they were designed to, especially with a force user out front. Maximizing his academy training and force instinct to lay his own ambush for the Pyre’s well geared troops, they were hit from below the floor, above it or to their sides.

Stereotypically young Amadis, not just young Sith, in both how he put himself in between his men and the danger ahead, as well as pushing first for the honor of taking the prize! They were nearing the bridge, only being stopped by a certain Master's order. The defenders knowing if they didn’t hold Amadis’s 7th Company here, some 120 men, then the bridge could well fall!

LOCKDOWN and so the noose tightened by [member="Aeron Kreelan"] | [member="Matthew Robinson"]

Staring down the barrel of a bolter, the gun was angled left in the force, so it shot a man near the shooter, however advanced the weapons were, aimed at their own troops didn’t help things! Smoke and flame burst ahead to cause confusion, and the cry to “Semper Anticus,“ always forward came, perhaps a permanent motto after today for the 769th. Sadly they didn’t make it more than twenty meters before they had to reshield themselves, taking cover behind the dead or ruined walls, this happened a few more times in slow and costly advance. Until during a particularly daring move, he and sixteen of his best, exited outside the hull by cutting through it. Magnetic boots on, the roar of starships overhead, they blew explosive charges in the side of the ship and came in behind the blockade, guns ablazing, very daring and very bloody, few survived.

The bridge was maybe five hundred meters away. Sadly behind the main bulk of the company had been ambushed and cut off from him in a cunning pyre counter attack, they had them pinned. Down to him now, shields upon their arms, just a handful of storm troopers with him turned to see… the few defenders left in their way, perhaps [member="Aeron Kreelan"] | [member="Matthew Robinson"] among or near them. A much more personal battle about to commence. #npcs moved to background fluff.

Elsewhere, over yonder! [member="Bryce Bantam"] vs those headed for engineering.

While the underside of the carrier now resembled your typically underfunded government housing project, lacking charm, amenities and indeed most of the floor. Going to melee, [member="Bryce Bantam"] would find those breaching troops had vibrating chainsword-like melee weapons, and the officers either swords which shot blaster bolts on contact, or worse force imbued blades! Many men wielded their riot energy shields for close combat, though individually no match for the force, there were a lot of them for him to play whackamole with, working in coordinated teams, with an organized command structure. Officers typically firmly at the back behind the shields and behind the shooters, formation style. Through his efforts he was however holding many of those going for engineering in the hanger!

There was some wavering at the losses, but still their reason for avenging their families on Coruscant meant they fought tooth and nail if need be! For now.

Objective: Rogue 1 Offensive - Intercept One Sith opposition

With K-Wings on their back, Loske had been silent in letting Twelve take the lead. They were assigned wing partners for this task force, partnering in the offence against the One Sith primary ship. The last time she’d been in a dogfight like this, she’d had some uncomfortable sensation when setting an enemy fighter aflame. In the meantime, she hadn’t spoken to anybody about it - but the waiver on her trigger finger was louder than any conversation needed to be.

While the spearhead of Ks on the tell-tale Rogue’s X, Loske hovered just above and behind, managing to not fire too many shots.

[You going to snap out of it anytime soon kid?] He turned the comm channel off, and Loske immediately felt the silence and the communication only shared between the two of them. Loske remained silent for once. [Your teammates are spending their plasma clearing the way for you - you going to make it worth their while?]

“I shouldn’t be out here, Frank. I feel so..bad.”

If a droid could sigh, this was the time.

[You’re doing your job, kid. It’s not all about fancy spirals and neat underbelly passes. You’re out here to rid the stars of threats against your friends. What’s wrong, haven’t you been doing this your whole life?]

“I..think so. I don’t know, last time just felt so real. So sick

[Death is very real, Loske. That’s why you’ve got to your part to protect your friends down below, and around. The other Rogues are counting on you, and that farmer fellow is too. All your friends. Get with it and pull on your big girl knickers.]

The little blonde frowned, shaking her head. In the end, Frank was right. And it’s not like Belsavis had been the first time she’d been a good shot. She’d been doing this, and doing this well, for years. That’s what memory served.
It didn’t matter if she was totally over it or not, Frank could easily override her and man the weaponry. Besides, this little chit chat with her AI astromech had pulled her away from Rogue Twelves formation and left her with only a few X-wings on her own tail, incoming alerts linking wildly on her dash demanding she open the channels once more.

“Frank.”

He acquiesced to her tone.

“-Five, we have a bogie entering our immediate space.”

“This is Rogue Five, copy that. Red Two span under, Thirteen flank on the left. The rest, stay on course with Rogue Twelve.”

“Copy that, Five.”

It was just the four of them versus that cruiser now. With a tilt of the yoke, Loske’s fighter almost casually cut through the space, like a steak knife through brie, toward the wake of [member="Annaliese Zambrano"]’s own star vehicle.

“Try and get a lock.” Loske comm’d back to her droid companion as the One Sith’s blip magnified on her radar.

Asmus pulled his nose up, squeezing the trigger and cutting a path across the hull of the enemy destroyer. Three laser emplacements were torn asunder. Asmus pulled back, twisting into the climb and keeping out of the firing arcs of the heaviest defences.

"Rogue One, we have more company," Asmus called. The inside of his cockpit was a full augmented reality display and it was highlighting the launch of more craft.

"I see Janes. Alpha squadron engage those fighters. Rogue Two and Nine follow me in and let's hit those shuttles."

Asmus pushed his engines to the limited. He kept high over the shuttles as he accelerated to get a lead on them. One and Two left their engagements as the squadron of A-Wings pulled away the shuttles escorts.

"On three," Rogue One called.

On the signal Asmus pulled on the stick, rolling a hundred and eighty to put the shuttles above him and within his line of sight. The three pulled up together. Red lasers streaked down from the T70s, joined by a yellow stream from Asmus' rotary cannon. The fire was ahead of target, to and force the group of shuttles to diverge from their course.

"Missiles!"

"Firing!" Asmus called. His own craft was light and maneuverable and didn't carry the same ordnance as the T70. But he did have a pair of homing missiles that were very tricky to shake off.

Four proton torpedoes and one homing missile cut a path across space towards the shuttles.

Kyber smiled wide under the protection of his thick helmet as he witnessed shrapnel and flashing lights crisscross the area. He was finally home. Kyber began this battle like he did all others, surveying the area to get a good grasp of his allies foothold and the general terrain. It seemed pretty basic, after all, most ships had pretty similar layouts when it came to 'below-deck' and storage areas- especially hangars. After gaining his initial bearings it was time to go to work.

It had been too long since Kyber had fought with a Jedi and was welcoming the change of pace. As the Jedi slowly made her advance Kyber quickly sprinted ahead of her at quite the speed for his heavy armor, double-tapping any soldiers that weren't getting fed their own blaster bolts back at them. The resistance was heavy, but luckily a lot of the troopers were focusing on the Jedi, and that meant Kyber could get creative. Maintaining his sprint Kyber slid behind what he could make out was a large ammunitions crate as he dropped his rifle to his side, more troopers now taking notice of him. He awaited there against the crate for a short while as he fished into his pockets and began loading his Boltgun, keeping notice of how close the stormtroopers were getting to him on the motion tracker attachment. After Kyber felt like he'd lured enough fish into his net, he'd lay backward, legs facing the crate before punching his jetpack on and pushing off the crate, causing it to fly backwards with heavy force, knocking down a few troopers before Kyber dispatched his shouldered Boltgun into the ammo crate, causing quite the nasty explosion as he flew across the floor back towards [member="Aela Talith"]. Once near her again he'd hear her yell; "Secure the door!". So, Kyber kicked up off the ground and cut his jetpack as he let go of his Boltgun, the sling causing it to fall back onto his side. "I'm heading towards the door now, Ma'am. I'll hold her open for you." and with that Kyber sprinted off towards the door as he brought his Blaster Rifle back up, leaning forward and low as he made his way towards the door, motioning for the nearby men to follow suit.

The bulkheads which slammed closed around the waging battle bought the troops in the halls time to drag back the wounded and reload, but it wasn't going to be enough to simply hold the invaders, they'd have to force them out. TK-6543, the sergeant commanding the emplacement and hefting a rotary cannon made a quick call to the bridge. "Going to make a push, on my signal I need the bulkhead to my front opened, keep the next one sealed, we'll cut them down room by room." He kept his transmission brief, to do anything otherwise would disrupt other communications relating to the battle raging in the abyss around them. The plan wasn't difficult, the bulkheads sealed the halls into sections, they'd simply open up one, mow down those inside, rinse and repeat. Hopefully the Thul soldiers within all of the halls wouldn't be able to open the bulkhead's to their rears and regroup in time for them to make any substantial effort to coordinate a defense. Once the troopers pushed the infantry out of the halls, they could reclaim the hangers.

Meanwhile, the dark robed Sith Warrior made his way through the halls leading to a junction where the path to engineering was connected to the hall Cale now strode down. As Elaine's forces grew closer, she would surely sense him, but regardless, once she opened the door to the section where the halls intersected, regardless of how quickly her troops would repositioned to counter they would still get caught by his squad opening fire with heavy blasters from their flank. For the Housecarls this would be dangerous, for basic infantry it was a death sentence. As Cale's troops reached the bulkhead in question, the knight had it opened, the cold durasteel doors sliding open as the group of soldiers waited. The second Elaine's saber made a hole in the door, or her pioneers opened it, they'd be met with a torrent of blaster fire.

After the initial barrage, Cale would take care of things his self. Tightly packed infantry in close quarters, even with devastating power armor were all but prey to the blade of a warrior trained in the force. Taking in a deep breath, the knight drew a saber from his belt, the hilt was plain and lacked any flair, it was quite evident he'd put no true effort into making the saber his own, it would always be the weapon he took off the body of a slain enemy and nothing more. Rolling his shoulders the warrior exhaled, and thumbed the ignition of the saber, the crimson blade springing to life with a snap-hiss and humming hungrily. Now all he had to do was wait.

Movement betrayed character. Resistance promoted strength. Together they defined your weight of worth in the force, to him.

Reading her more within the melee. Taeli’s force form ahead was lightfooted, quick and graceful, tempered bursts of energy, more was learned. Keth had almost no grace left from his Echani days, digging his feet down into the crumbled and split ground ahead. The cracked metal caused his heavy boots to slide slightly before they stopped. While he skidded to find purchase, her bolt of lightening hit him direct in his left shoulder, causing grinding pain to snarl within the armor, her taunt true. Loathing for any weakness left inside of him grew. Pride yet to be conquered. Fuel for the fire, the Sith bit down upon his new wound for inspiration, and her highlighted truth to remember it by.

Mace Attack:

Digging his stance down hard, to claim the ruined ground, and working from the legs up. Keth struck with his entire body, pushing velocity into the mace, hips, legs and stance braced, perhaps showing the multitude of those such moves had killed. Aimed at waist height, the movement of this giant ball of death, was in opposition to her direction, allowing her own pivoting position to help close the gap for him slightly. Traces of Vaapad, but so twisted of form in these later, perhaps final years.

Mind Reading, Pressure Attack:
The Mirror Technique.

His work began for her use to him. Inward he concentrated toward her potential, her mind, seeking anything from the Master, however faint. Attempting to repeat words into her mind, seeking any traces, names, dates, times, family, places, truths or past histories to pull from her. Welling focused pressure, demanding she defend or resist, for in strong resistance to a questioning word, title such as brother, place such as home, or time such as childhood, she showed him the strength of its shadow, and gave him his pressure points to force more resistance. A Vapaad inspired Mirror. Unless she had more graceful mental defenses than resistance to his interrogation, techniques which certainly existed.

Keth craved and lived for the resistance, the conflict, the battle inside to shape the future of those before him. His code. Pride in the Sith taken to an intolerable extreme to wield as a weapon.

Evolution to come, twisted clones next, images flashed of what might come, was that her face upon one of next breed of clones thrust toward her mind?

Following close behind Voidstalker was Nia and her comrades, the War Dogs. Things happened quickly and, more than once, one of her rifle-toting friends saved her from injury or worse. For her part, she kept her yellow blade close to her and deflected the hail of plasma away from herself and those around her. It was the most intense day of training she'd ever had but there was no respite.

Then again, the bolts here were real and so was the danger. It was thick in the Force, around her at all times. She was glad for the help she'd been getting. It didn't minimise the feeling of danger everywhere but it did make it somehow easier.

On a subconscious level, the apprentice could sense the trap. Nia Siroc wasn't a great general or seasoned warrior, but the sensation was there all the same. Voidstalker pressed forward though he knew it was a trap all the same. They were to be bait, it seemed.

It was so different than she'd imagined it, no time to be afraid let alone think. Bodies were tightly packed, no room to pair off in duels of honour such as stories had spoken of. The din was so loud that she could barely hear Master Voidstalker speak not five meter away. Everything was strangely surreal as they pressed on.

It has been quite a while since the last time the clone set foot on the field of battle whether it be via planetside or space. What was his excuse for not participating in the many operations executed from the Alliance? There really wasn't any logical or acceptable excuse, but after many years of unending fighting since they took him out of that blasted tube from the labs of Kamino one must take a short leave of absence and enjoy the good things out of this life. The soldier did feel some guilt in his consciousness since he wasn't out there with his comrades and doing his duty, and doing what he was created and bred to do. But his leave of absence would come to a halt and he would return to the life of a soldier.

Canal was clad in his armor that resembled the days of the Clone Wars as he was inspired by the ARC troopers of this times. Another item that he possessed, that resembled those times, was the DC-17m interchangeable blaster. And the rest were two flashbangs, one thermal detonator, and two dual WESTAR 35 pistols. Nothing more, nothing less as he was sure that what he carried would serve him well.

Rushing across the vile battlefield within the hangar of the Aegis the clone fired rounds of plasma projectiles to One Sith personnel as his true intentions were to board a shuttle and take off to the flagship of the Sith. With him was a squad of Alliance Marines and a Yodaling by the name of Vaet. He wasn't sure if he was in charge of this unit, but he was going to go on a limb and assume that the Yodaling was in command.

Making it to a vacan shuttle the soldier would stop before the landing pad of the shuttle and would spew out lethal blaster bolts to hostiles that were trying to prevent their departure or gunning down those that lagged behind. "On the double, troopers," he shouted to those that were close to boarding the vessel. As the last marine made it to the shuttle Canal wasted no time on boarding their ride to the Titan, thus allowing the pilot to take off from the hangar of the Aegis.

"Alright, let's take a look of what we're aiming for," Canal said before showing a hologram of the enormous vessel they were about to board, "we'll be hitting the command deck and maybe ram this thing into the other ship. It'll be a rough ride, but I'm sure that we can make it with the other units spreading through the entire ship. Any questions because there will be no time in chattering once we get dropped off there." He would wait with anticipation of some marine asking him if there were any secondary objectives or anything that was relative to their mission.

Sith Engineers began to set up skirmish lines behind their shields and it would have worked save for the Starr's unique weapon system. The Mace Kinetic Energy Weapons of the Starr were designed to bypass shields and deliver enough force to send multi ton fighter craft of course. What they did to armored men less than a tenth of that size was devastating. Able to bypass any energy shield they delivered their kinetic payload directly into those they fired on. Men with their boots not magnetized to the were being blown back like leaves in a strong gale. Those locked to the ground suffered much worse as without a place to defuse the energy when struck it sent shock wave into their bodies, collapsing lungs, breaking bones and rupturing vital organs.

Any massive line they tried to form was disrupted or worse by the Starr and it left the forces disorganized and unable to rally. In the confusion Alliance soldiers within the hanger rallied to BB seeing him charge into the line without fear, as many had fought beside Jedi the saber BB carried meant he must be one and so followed him without question.

The two forces met head on while Blaster bolt and sword, stun bolt and lightsaber, all clashed in the melee and soon the enemy forces began to be forced back to the hanger door's very edge. The hundreds of Sith engineers were reduced to a few tens of men as the battle continued. Still bravely fighting on, but without numbers or strategic advantage the attacking fought in vain and soon they were pressed against the very edge of the hanger door shield. BB signaled for the advance to hold, his fury breaking as he began to feel pity for those he now faced.

"You have fought bravely but you are beaten. Surrender now and quarter will be offered."

As BB words spread to the remaining Sith engineers the Alliance forces lined up around them like a firing squad. Through faceless mask BB could feel the hate these men felt for them. In one voice the few trooper left cried...

"FOR CORUSCANT!"

As the attackers charged the alliance line, the defenders opened fire directly into them. Like weeds, the remaining few attackers were cut down and till all went silent in the bay. They had fought bravely, though he hated their methods the purity of their sacrifice was enough to touch BB and fully break his fury. Now with a heavy heart, he holstered his weapons and took up his med kit. BB the healer was needed once again. Taking full control of the situation he began motioning for corpsmen to take the seriously wounded to the Starr, with a ship wide battle the Starr's medical suites were as good as any and much closer. Looking further at the ruin of the battle he opened a comm to the bridge and to Matt.

"Bantam to command, hanger is secured. Boarders repelled for now..."

The pellets pinged against the deck, about as useless against the Sith as throwing a bunch of ball bearings. Sal's eyes narrowed, finger heavy on the trigger. A sudden snap-hiss caused the drifter to glance sidelong at the Outbacker. A force user after all. He snorted.

'Course.

When his eyes flicked back to the two Sith - or whatever they might be - he found that the woman had disappeared. Right up until she materialized back into existence behind the slug stopper. The way the male Sith moved as he stood revealed a lack of armor on his chest. More trademark arrogance. Meant there was a better chance of the pellets punching through and hitting the woman behind him.

Makes my job easier.

If they managed to hit at all...

"Captain, might need more backup than I thought."

Part of the loner hated asking for the extra help, but he'd no death wish. He curled a lip and started firing again, squeezing off shots from the semi auto as fast as he could pull the trigger, all aimed for the man's center mass.

"I can see that. Fireteam Besh, engage the hostiles. Everyone else, move out."

Marines filed out the nearest passageway and moved below to the next deck via a companionway. Four stayed behind and opened fire on the two Sith with blaster carbines, spitting hot lancets of red energy.

Stopping a single spread was one thing, but multiple angles of fire would break his concentration and concentrated fire would overwhelm him. At least that's what Sal could theorize. Sith defied all laws of nature. Made planning how to take 'em out a pain.

I decided that I wasn't going to let you guys go through all the effort of preparing your fleets, only to be left in the dirt when no one decided to fight you. I have no experience doing this, but let's have fun with it. I will still be starship dueling Gir Quee using only the Paladin, and ask that you avoid firing on it with the remainder of your fleets, and in return it won't fight against any other ships but the corvettes being used by Quee.

The easily discernible flashes of turbolasers fired off from the enemy vessels towards the impenetrable line of the One Sith fleet. They struck against shields, narrowly missing the Paladin as it maneuvered near the center of the line, intent on facing the tactical line of corvettes approaching them. The Arue'tii upon the bridge carefully and strenuously examined a holographic map of the engagement, carefully noting the details that would pop up whenever one of the enemy blips was selected, such as it's type, and visible specifications captured from sensors throughout the line. Abelain had expected an admiral to commandeer control of the line, and give them orders to lead them to victory against the encroaching opponents, but that wish had quickly been dashed.

That was fine. It simply meant that he would need to direct the ships during a combat engagement where he had no true experience. Thankfully, at his side stood Captain Jones, someone who could advice him in the proper procedures and tactics. "Sir. Might I recommend that we return fire with our own long-range weaponry?" He questioned, his finger Abelain's attention towards the Paladin's own armaments, as well as those of the nearby warships. "Of course. We need to ensure that we maintain maximum firing ability for the majority of our vessels however, and this line does not guarantee that." The Arue'tii examined the specifications of friendly ships, rapidly learning their strengths and weaknesses, as well as their ability to rapidly mobilize.

"Keep the Invincible and the Savage near the center where they are. Respond to the enemy's long-range fire with our own. Put the Gula-class vessels behind the Wyrrloks, and have their fighters and bombers ready to launch. Have the Paladin open fire on that nearby approaching line of corvettes with our long range weaponry. Have the Boneshatter ships form a crescent along the Wyrrlok's; two on each side. Keep the Corsair's manueverable, and behind the other vessels." He finished his string of orders, noting that the only ship he had not ordered to move were the Talon's, which simply sat nearby and at the ready along with the Corsairs. The sound of the Paladin's long-range turbolasers echoed throughout the ship as it opened fire upon the Atropos. For a brief moment before everything erupted into the next stage of fighting, Abelain thought that commanding these ships wasn't going to be as difficult as he had previously thought.

His blades descended, and as expected the Jedi Grandmaster deftly parried his attack so that his own blades would clash together in a tumultuous shower of sparks. But as the blades of sunfire collided and spat hatefully, Vornskr maneuvered them ever so slightly so that Korr's blade was momentarily pinned in a pincer-like saberlock. It would only last for the briefest of moments as they both locked gazes despite the baleful horned visage that Vornskr wore to mask his earthly features. And then the blades parted and the true battle began, Vornskr wasting no time in following up his initial attack with immediate succeeding strikes and stabs to put immense pressure on Korr's Form III oriented defense.

Crimson and azure beams of light swung back and forth as these two men, these gods given flesh, fought with all the fury of the earth and sky. Korr was like an implacable stone that rose from the cold, inky depths to challenge the storm, and not even the storm's unquenchable wrath could even nudge the stubborn stone no matter how hard the winds shrieked through rain-slick sky or how many waves came crashing down on its head or how many bolts of lightning continuously struck the stone. They were as forces of nature given physical form, their bodies straining as they pushed themselves to their limit to counter each other's blows with speed that didn't seem possible for mortal men, yet they wielded such speed, such power, and such ferocity as if it were second nature to them.

The swirling maelstrom of darkness that was Vornskr moved with malign intent, he hungered to spill Korr's blood upon the already stained durasteel floor so that it may intermingle with those who had given their lives to try and stem his unstoppable assault. And Vornskr may wield his twin blades like butcher's cleavers, hacking wildly and putting all of his immense strength behind each blow, there was a sinister sophistication to his movements that spoke of strategy. He sought to use the environment to his advantage; an attempt to maneuver the battle to steer the Jedi Master towards the bodies that had been strewn about by Vornskr's rage to try and shatter his footing, or even reaching out with his will to envelop one of those many corpses to use as a missile of disfigured flesh against the Jedi all the while his blades never ceased to rise and fall with a depraved hunger for death.

Gradually the amount of standing stormtroopers within the Weapons Deck began to thin out. One after another they fell, either to Aela's lightsaber, those that belonged to her fellow Jedi, or the blaster bolts of one of the soldiers that had followed her aboard. It wasn't quick work, and it certainly wasn't clean, but as Kyber rushed his way towards the door the troopers around the area were felled, and eventually the Galactic Alliance gained complete control of this small, perhaps even Tiny section of the Immortal Titan.

"Make sure those hall's are clear!" She shouted the command, though in truth she didn't need to. The Adrenaline was still surging through her veins, her head spinning as she began to wander towards one of the many consoles that seemed to be dotted throughout the room. "Arn, make sure that breach is sealed, I don't want us venting out into space."

The Chiss Knight immediately darted towards their point of entry, taking odd spray foam from the crashed vessel to make sure the hull was properly sealed.

Aela herself inspected the consoles at the edge of the room, reading different labels and trying to get a hang of what switches were there and exactly which system they controlled. She frowned slightly, trying to find any sort of indication of exactly what they had. Eventually she found some odd labels, 'Proton Torpedo Tube 1A through 16C', 'Forward Turbolaser Emplacements numbers 1-8', and then a final label which she read out loud, this one situated atop a small portion of a massive control center that was almost as tall as she was. "Proton Beam Cannon."

Well.

That was interesting.

"BLIMEY," the exhaled, oomphed-word left his mouth as a strong arm reached out and kept him from falling on his rear. Hazel-gaze widened at the blonde. And for a very long moment, the medic completely forgot how to talk. Or move. Or think.

He was in the presence of a space angel. Bad habit definitely enforced.

Somewhere in the back of his mind he realized she was talking to him. Her lips were moving. He should be listening, right? Not just staring at her lips. Bullets were whizzing by. Blaster bolts. People were dying. Injured. NPC epic background fluff stuff.

The heat from a crimson blaster-bolt whizzing inches past his leg finally snapped him out of his blonde 'bombshell' stupor.

Muscles heaved and he ducked down with her. One hand clenched his med bag. The other a blaster. Set on stun. "I've got your back," he breathed, finally finding his words. Manly words. Others cried out in pain. He could feel their pain. Fingers twitched, torn between throwing himself down with them to relieve some of their pain through bacta patches and the essentials in his bag.

But he was an experienced battle medic. He had to address the fighting first, had to help stop the tide or step in during a lull. Or it would be a bloody, endless cycle. Bloomin' endless.

An alliance soldier went down a few feet from their position. He clutched his gut but he was helplessly paralyzed in the line of fire. Foxhole crawling out from the shared cover with blondie, Matt got one hand on the man's jacket to pull and drag him back to the wall. That's when he first got sight of Kylath and a flash of a personal shield? Hand with his blaster reached out and he shot off three stun-bolts toward where he thought the man's shield generator was while he tried to drag the fallen Alliance soldier to cover.

Hey, I'm not ignoring you or anything but I just don't enjoy writing ship vs ship battles nor do I understand anything that has to do with ships and fleeting in general. I wrote the starfighter heading to the carrier part simply to help Annaliese get from A to B because I don't feel like the story would flow well if she was on one ship in one post and suddenly on another in the next without depicting how she got there.

The starfighter carrying the two Inquisitors swiftly flew into the cruiser's hangar once the doors opened. The five minutes of time they were forced to wait had left the starfighter in a sorry state. Its shields were completely gone and would need repairs if it was to ever take to the skies again.

Annaliese bit her lip as she disembarked from the starfighter, she wanted to hear his voice. Her heart palpitated quickly as she felt excitement rise inside her. Although she couldn't sense his Force signature yet, she knew he was here, and she was coming for him.

You better keep up Mr Supervisor if you don’t want to get left behind as it’s your job to keep an eye on me after all,” the Zambrano bastard called behind her as she headed towards the elevator without sparing a moment to look back at her accompanying Inquisitor.

Pitch black in the dark, that saber died a swift death.

Amusement trickled between his and the Defel's bond, and just about that time that she asked him the query about the door, a peppy, Coreworld funk came playing through their earwigs.

[ This hit for that for that ice, cold, Inquisitor lady, that aurdium girl. This one for them Jedi girls, them good girls, straight masterpieces. ]

Oh yes. This was his jam.

He came in sliding on one foot left to right, a half spin then brought his feet together. They made the most amusing little trio. Camoflagued and under stealth through a combination of the imbuement, technology, or in Vex's case, racial ability. It was just how they worked. If anyone could actually see them, they would be rather confounded by the amount of pep oozing from the Talith's body.

[ Styling, wilin, living it up in Coruscant city! Got chucks on with S.I.N on, gotta kiss myself I'm so pretty! ]

Bopping with the beat, Micah held one hand out over the console of that blast door. The thing about Wyyrlok's that many battles and salvage in the lengthy seven years and after Netherworld was this -- they were a cookie cutter ship. Like space legos, one could snap and click from one to the next. Everyone was the same. Made by Killiks, their internal schisms and such did not change. Know one, know another.

That was about having hive mind Killiks building your ships.

His father was once a false God. Neth the Keeper, who had scoured the galaxy for every bit of information he could find in the two hundred and seventy-five years or so of life. His father, Darth Moridin, the former Sith Emperor himself. If there was anything Micah did well, was soak up and learn as much as he could during his travels. In particular, he had studied under his father on a particular interesting manipulation of the Force that involved the control of all things mechanical.

They were cursed, they were. The Taliths. Could not fly anything larger than a speeder without crashing. Only Nohei ([member="Kaili Talith"]), his youngest sister, was able to do more than that. Far, far, more than that. She could do what their father could not; pilot a ship. She also took on like a fish to water when it came to Electronic manipulation and Mechu Deru. Their father literally used the Force to pilot their family vacation ship from time to time, showing the kids how to do so as well. While no one would be as fantastic as Nohei, he could handle learning about a ship's internal commands and, hah, make a blast door open.

"I got this."

Behind his helm, his eyes took on a bright orange glow as the Talith summoned the Force. He shoved it down his arm and into that console, bleeding his senses into the wires and electronics therein.

[ Girls', hit your hallelujah!Ooooo! Girls, hit your hallelujah! Ooooo! Girls, hit your hallelujah! ]

It wouldn't be instant, but three minutes was enough to get what he needed. A mental map of the ship. And oh yes, and open that first blast door.

[ 'Cause uptown funk is gonna give it to you! ]

Vex wouldn't need any lights to know Micah was cheesing it from ear to ear at that.

[ Don't believe me, just watch! ]

It was a bloody battle alright.

Enough to get the blood pumping! A half chuckle was tossed over at the brunette medic, one that was brought to a halt by a One Sith regular who was getting too close. The bark of her bolter sent the man flying back, airborne with dark pockets riddled with ammunition. The thud and groan of the now wounded soldier all that separated him from the rest.

Didn't matter what side you were, everyone bled.

The scent of charred flesh would swirl thick under the nose, an acrid, sanguine taste that coated the tongue.

[ Trust me Prex, you won't miss him.]

The Pyre specialist was right. He was a big one. Armored up and with some sort of shield. Okay, time to see what the boyo had, shield or not. A shrug, and a grin, she glanced over at the Medic.

"Try not to die, doc!" she would warn him, before standing up. "Got a live one that will need you soon." A charge of the Bolter, and then her flashy grin.

giphy.gif
"Hey you!" was all she said, calling out to get the One Sith's attention. Then she promptly shot the bolter of explosive rounds right at his direction. Armed bolts could travel up to five-hundred meters. They were also extremely effective against personal armour and even light vehicle armour. Aeron had even used them on the field to clear buildings.

In this case, she was gung-ho for clearing the towering hunk of man from the route to the bridge.

The seconds were ticking on by.

[ Beep - beep - boop - beep! ] her Pebbledrone chirped in her headset, and a brief sigh of relief bloomed as that minute was closing in.

"Keep working on it!" Choli told R2, diving down and then swinging a figure eight to come back with the intention of meeting up with Rogue Eleven. The Force flared in warning, and she suddenly banked right.

FETH!

Green blaster fire shot at her direction. She was fast, but not that fast. A bolt managed to strike at one of her S-foils. Sparks and even more red warning signs would bloom in front of her.

"I can't bring the shields up any faster!" the girl said, sweating in the crunch of time. Fifteen more seconds. Her shoulders set, and a steely expression of determination fixated upon her youthful face.

"Alright.. you wanna dance?" she sped up the thrust.

"Let's dance."

Ilsa Voll

Kampfpanzer Kommandant
Location: ANS Fonder's Aegis
Allies: Galactic Alliance
Enemies: One Sith, [member="Isamu Baelor"]
Equipment:

She was far, far out of her element. Her crew, planetside. Her vehicle, planetside. Her training? Armored tactics. If someone needed a penetrating strike against an enemy formation or heavy defenses broken down, they called her. Enemy armor assaulting friendly positions, she stepped up. In a tank and with her crew, she was a whirlwind of death on the battlefield capable of turning the tide in a crucial moment of luck, skill, and training. She was a highly trained and highly motivated soldier of her home planet, but only one question rang through her mind as the deck beneath her feet lurched suddenly.

Why the hell was she on a starship?

As much as she'd like to sit back and go over the series of poor decisions that had gotten her stuck inside the blasted tin space-can currently unable to stop rocking back and forth as if it was mid-seizure, she knew that the current predicament was a bit more important. She'd just have to kill the idiot that had convinced her to take a tour of the hangar later, which was a shame. The pilot had been fairly cute.

She'd managed to yank on a set of armor borrowed from a locker in the armory. It looked like a personal set, but it fit well enough and she'd be damned if she was to take the time to find one that didn't pinch in all the wrong places. The pistol she'd found and the explosives were from the same locker, which meant someone had serious clearance or serious salary. Either way, they weren't around to argue the point of ownership, which meant they now belonged to a Sergeant Voll of the Eisenwelten armored corps.

The UM-815, however, was her own. Eisenwelten standards said she was to take her primary, assigned weapon wherever she went when on duty. Technically, while she'd come up here for a 'date' with a pilot that caught her fancy at the time, she was far from off duty, and so the support weapon had come with. She would have much preferred a standard weapon, but no. Her crew thought it would be funny to make her carry the heavy weapon and so she wound up assigned to it. For once, though, she was mildly thankful for it.

Armored and armed, she tuned out the klaxons wailing overhead and ran down the corridor. Alongside and around, GA marines ran this way and that. Some to reinforce key positions, others to set up new defensive points elsewhere in the ship. Voll rounded the corner and had just enough time to register blasterfire and friendly defenders ahead when the hallway ahead disappeared in a ball of fire.

Knocked off her feet by the force of the explosion, she realized two things as she skidded to a stop on her rump. First, she wasn't flying down the hallway, meaning that whatever blew up hadn't knocked a hole in the hull and decompressed the area. Second, and arguably more important, someone was now shooting at her.

Rolling over and awkwardly spinning herself to point headfirst towards the incoming fire, she took a moment to pop the bipod on the UM-815 in her hands before setting it on the deck plating. She thumbed the safety and primed the weapon's power cell, taking only a split second to register the telltale green of a full power pack. Sighting down the hallway, she waited until unfamiliar silhouettes appeared from the dissipating smoke ahead. Settling the sights on the lead trooper, she pulled the trigger.

In less than a second, the corridor was filled with the deafening, buzzsaw roar of Voll's UM-815 as the tanker fired careful, controlled bursts downrange at the enemy.
