The bolts hit Rel with only small stunning strikes, very non-lethal.
Jacen chuckles and looks at his Blastersaber.
"I was hoping that you'd try and deflect the bolts. Setting 3 can disable lightsabers and certain energy shields/force fields. I'm not a skilled swordsman or strong with the Force but, I can shoot."
He laughs.

Jacen switches to Setting 4 and reactivates his stun-blade as Rel stumbles closer. He lunges forward with a horizontal swing.

Jacen chuckles and takes a few steps back as he deactivates his lightsaber and switches it to Setting 0, which activates the safety and renders the weapon unusable. He clips it to his right hip and smiles.
"Can you teach me that lightning thing?"

Laphisto would have waved to both rep and jacen his attention mostly being on his holo computer making sure the ship was running smoothly. Giving each a good morning and a subtle wave before climbing up a ladder and proceeding to enter the guts of the ship via. A service vent. Laying on his back as best he could. Having his left leg and a large portion of his tail hanging out. Eyes glued to the console on his wrist . Testing various systems and imputing new commands to try and improve the old girl

It’s useful to shock your opponents you start with one blade and switch to 2 then there scared it’s also good when your 2v1 opponents to block shots from behind etc
