The Council of First Knowledge

Hey Guys,

I had an idea (I know shocking) and was wondering if anyone wanted to get in on this new idea with me.

I'm afraid this would only work for Jedi who have reached Knight level or higher, however feel free to show your interest if you wish to be involved. At the moment I have a specific idea in my head but later on I'm sure it can be morphed to fit all ranks. So here goes...

I was thinking of setting up a unique branch of the Order which specialise in the teaching of younglings (Initiates or Masterless Padawans). Here new Jedi can find a quick and easy source of available Masters which can help them kick off their journey.

Also if we have enough people showing interest, I was thinking that soon, all training roles could soon take Orders from members of this branch (weaponsmaster, quartermaster). I kind of see this as a smaller version of the High council but solely focused on the education of the younger Jedi. Sort of a variation to the commanding circles of the Jedi Covenant however they do not share their ideals. Think Circle of Seers/Healers if it helps, but a Circle of Educators.

So what do you think, feel free to give me critiques or show interest in it. I think it's really good if people supply me with more ideas, otherwise how else are we to advance so don't be shy!

@[member="Snowflame"] Well if it could eventually turn into that, but we'll see how it goes. We may just rename it if things work out.

Okay then we'll rename this section to the Council of First Knowledge. This means then that it will encompass a lot more than education, it will now cover the handling of the Temple archives and the discovery of artifacts around the galaxy. Eradication of Sith knowledge also comes under this Council now so I hope this opens up a few more doors for the more adventurous Jedi out there.

@Phylis Aliance is the councilor in charge of the council of first knowledge (because we assigned councils and circles) She is also the head librarian.

@[member="Iella E`ron"] yes am I safe to assume that this council oversees all the teachings that go on in the Temple and have anything to do with the Order. Perhaps we could go over the roles/titles that would be present in this Council?

Yes the council would oversee the education on a scale but masters teach their students their own way. The initiates and younglings would be more what you teach and the npcs. Eradication of sith and darkside artifacts, preservation of knowledge that isn't too dangerous

Of course, once a Padawan has been given a Master, the Council has no control over what is taught. It will only cover the Academy.
