my understanding the Explorers Corp was more military based. Also we could tweak this a bit and not have the Shadows report directly to the First. Ultimately we would all report to the Jedi Council ..

thoughts on that?

I agree with Master @[member="Phylis Alince"] , I don't think Shadows have any place in the Education side of things. The Shadow would and should be there for the more 'unsavory' missions, to my thinking.

@[member="Iella E`ron"] of course I get what you and Phylis are saying so I've taken Shadows out of the council section. What I meant for the explorer corps was retrieving new data, this would only be a representative same goes for the researcher. They aren't only restricted to this council.

I wants:

• Mission Statement: Should be able to express to new members and non-Faction members alike, what the purpose and mission of the CoFK truly is. Should be Included in the first paragraph of the CoFK page located in either the Resources Forum or The Jedi Library Sub-Forum.
• Jurisdictions and Job Descriptions: Should be able to express underneath every title or career option what the purpose, geographic and political jurisdictions, and job descriptions for each one are. Tell the people what they are expected to do IC and OOC. Should be included with the career options located in either the Resources Forum or The Jedi Library Sub-Forum.
• Moderator and Council Member: Please note who is tasked with updated the forum pages IC (CM) and OOC (Mod) with new info or adding member names to the listing. Should be visible on every CoFK page.

The mission statement will tell people what the Circle does. The Job Descriptions will tell the members what to do IC and OOC. And the Moderator part will keep the Circle accountable for it's own needs.

Alright everyone, I'm really thrilled with the interest everyone has shown in this Council.

Okay just an update, I've filled in some blanks concerning the roles of each position on the Council, outlining what will be asked of the member should they choose to take this position (IC of course).

So far we have two major spots vacant; those of the Exploration Corps representative and the Archaeological Corps representative. Plus heaps of spots for academy instructors and archive librarians. So if you're wanting to fill in these positions, please read through the description and make sure it fits with your character before you PM me with a proposal.

If you wish to go for one of the council seats (the two representatives) please in your message, give us a reason why you believe that you would suit this position. Just so we don't seat a member because they want the seat for power purposes (no dictators in the Jedi Order please ).

A big thanks to Aika Kawakami for assisting me with the position descriptions and a thanks to everyone who has so far shown interest in the CoFK.
