The Earth will crack and burn -- [ One Sith vs ACA Dominion of Sev Tok ]

[member="Spark Finn"]

"Tch! You can't even be trusted to make obvious decisions on the basic principle of self-preservation." The spurned Darth Janus chided. "How could anyone possibly trust you with something as important as your own Darth title?" The Umbaran rolled his eyes.

He had plenty of willing acolytes. Ish. If by acolytes one meant paid employees, anyway. He would've had at least one if this poor, deluded, doomed Jedi had seen the reason in his words. But if she wouldn't see reason, she would see sass. An ungodly amount of sass that threatened to tear a new wound in the Force over the planet of Sev Tok. Which was still being violently strip mined, in case anyone was still wondering about that. She was glaring at him quite fiercely . It was all he could do to not burst out laughing on the spot. Maybe if he pressed a bit further, she'd turn red.

"Look at how angry you are already. You'll make a good Sith. You'll be kicking puppies and brutalizing younglings before you can say..."

"Help me, Darth Carach! You're my only hope for becoming a lobotomite." Spark Finn's commlink finished the Umbaran's sentence in her own voice; urged to do so by Janus' doing.

Maybe it was a Force Illusion. Maybe it was Technometry. Maybe, just maybe, it was Maybelline.

Elara continued to look at her master as the woman handed the data over to Archanix....her former rival was working hard to grow and expand while the horsewomen came to stand around. Not speaking but watching. The technogeek as it were getting out of the walker and standing there at the ready while her visor and hack pad were hooked up. "Resume your work, leave nothing alive on that opposes the ONe Siths will here." Elara gave a bow while she looked at the four then at Archanix. "Understood my master." They were heading off and she had a few ideas while moving now towards a building keeping the large zeltron in view.

She snorted, clearly not understanding what was so important about a darth name. Sith and their names. It just made things confusing and expensive. What would they put on their mail, their darth name or their born name? Wedding invitations? Loans? Pilot's license? ALSO - it was really expensive to change names not to mention the mountains of paper work and bureaucratic tape.

"Hey," startled, she took out her comm. "That was actually pretty coo--RUDE."

The blond slicer took a steadying breath.

With a stubborn tilt of her chin, she used the force to change two more eye receptors bright purple, some more technometry with perhaps a touch of mechu-deru vitae. "When you have something to teach me and want to have a conversation like an adult, give me a call." Fingers drifted behind her blond hair and she hair-flipped the master hair-flipper as she turned around.

Sierra wasn't expecting that, her eyes going wide and she reacted the only way she knew how to. She moved back not expecting the boosters on the hammer while she felt something smash her and she was spinning. The beast of a sithspawn reacting when the hammer smashed into its armor and it by stomping a foot down. She could feel pain in her leg, the skin spike smashed in further and broken while the blood and wing held it at an odd angle. She was looking up more digging claws into the floor scrambling back as she shouted. "Release restriction subdue him." It might not be perfect, but a test and fight was the best way to go about it while she let the smashed armored chest heave. THe sithspawn was supposed to take a punishment but she wasn't certain of its real skill.

[[sorry don't know if the power is going to cut out again so scrambling.]]

The sound of an empty magazine was anything but music to the Knight's ears, but lamenting the limited supply of bullets would be a waste of time. She dropped into the back of the truck and picked up the rocket launcher, caressing the previously abandoned weapon with a loving sigh before leaping out of the vehicle. She fell to her knees in a hasty crouch, partly to avoid the few stray blaster bolts, but mostly to stabilize the RPG on her shoulder. She took aim and shot in quick succession, knowing that she was an easy target in her current position. The recoil dug into her arm and she gritted her teeth, her gaze glued to the rocket as it sped through the air and into the ground in front of the barricades the enemy was using for cover.

The following explosion sent bits of duracrete and metal flying in all directions, most notably into the soldiers hiding behind the barrier that was no more. The Knight discarded the bazooka as soon as the deed was done and replaced it with the much more accurate, if less powerful rifle that had been lying idly across her back. Not one to leave her toys gathering dust, Vrag joined the bloody assault just as the power was cut to the building. The warrior exploited the momentary confusion that ensued and squeezed the trigger with grim determination, unleashing a hail of bolts upon their foes. The chaos didn't last long, though, and the defenders quickly reorganized themselves; if she weren't on the opposing side, Vrag would've commended their ability to work under duress.

That wasn't the case, however, so the firrerreo didn't say anything at all and continued pressing the attack. Nothing but a miracle could save them now.

"Perfect, Alpha Squad standby." Braxus said as he stood on the fourth floor.

The members of Alpha Squad lined up along the wall each one gripping a civilian. The fourth floor brought a very special surprise in the form of two ACA soldiers, perhaps ones that got mixed up in the panic and separated from their squad in the ensuing assault by the elite Blackblade Guard. The men had refused to give out any information, and were quickly dispatched by the anzati. Windows lines the front of the building and the tech specialist in the squad managed to unseal them. Braxus had stakes driven into the floor in front of each window where they tied down ropes, with the other end wrapped around each mans neck.

The plan was flawless and besides his actions, his style of Dun Moch he would use to goad them into combat would certainly bring them out of hiding. "Squad, you may proceed." Just as he finished giving the order, they tossed the corpses out of the windows like they were throwing rag dolls. Each whipped through the air, before being stopped hard by the rope, the eight bodies including the two soldiers were horribly disfigured, and each corpse had their guts spilling out of the stomach, hanging in the air and dripping blood onto the street below.

Braxus then opened an open channel in his comms that the ACA would be able to pick up on if they were on the street block. "Defenders of Sev'Tok, if you would be so kind as to look out of the window, I have prepared a show for you." Braxus said as he switched back to the encrypted channel, before taking cover with the soldiers in preparation for the ambush.

It took a few minutes before commotion rang out from across the quiet street. Over the backdrop of the planetary dominion, shots rang out from across the street hitting the walls of the building. The Blackblade Sergeant had told him that it was a group of the ACA, barreling towards them from a building across the street, a ways up. The rats had fallen for the hunters trap, and he would make them pay. Just as they were little more than halfway to the building, he gave the order to open fire. Braxus stood up, deflecting a stray blaster shot. Meanwhile Alpha Squad began opening up, each shot precise and lethal, cutting down several men in the ensuing charge, viciously tearing into the ACA Holdout Team.

The lights flashed across the hammer as the repulsors fired, a natural tendency of the swing, igniting upon the back end switch of the grip. But no attack performed by this Sith Lord would involve a single leg. Everything was a combination, every move a lead up to the next. As the hammer was effectively blocked by a 2.5 meter sithspawn in armor, Gabriel merely smiled as the thrusters on the shoulders of the armor powered on and the armor moved to ram the left lowered shoulder into the Sith spawn. The attack was fortified with the power of 8 times the strength that Gabriel could muster, powered by the servos and pistons upon a reinforced spine, along with the added power of the thrusters. Gabriel guessed, based off of rough calculations, that such an attack could likely move a tank with relative ease upon it's tread. He wondered, upon the foothold of the attack, on how this would impact another Goliath.

He could feel the heat of his actions move through the gears of the machine, licking at the insulated dallorian alloy before wicking into the geothermal pumps.

In that moment all was right for the Baroness. The complex was secure, her personal Fenrir Guard had the area on lock-down and the trusted Colonel was overseeing the construction of the new facility that would soon be a sprawling complex. Those that had previously lived in the city would be allowed to return, though they would be either under the control of the One Sith, or owned by the Baroness. Either way she still had labor that could easily be brought in to keep the facility running. Of course the Magraths were known for their better treatment of their slaves, and the Baroness was even kind enough to allow a few of those stragglers that were captured by her Fenrir Guard to not be shipped off to the One Sith from processing. After all she needed some of the local populace around to keep others in line. It was a rather boring affair and at the same time could often be frustrating.

For the Baroness her job was more or less done. She had arrived and offered her support of the One Sith, though at that moment she remained out of her own curiosity and enjoyment. Her hand ran along the blood soaked and matted fur of her beloved Nexu, her palm stained red slightly from the dried liquid of life. Of course she now made an effort to smooth out any wrinkles with her left hand rather than the right to prevent herself from ruining her gown. She couldn't appear to be a business woman or of her stature and title in a blood soaked gown.

Stepping out of the building, she had made the decision to take a stroll around the new acquired complex. The Colonel was still as alert as ever and had even sent a small grouping of guards to keep a watch over the Baroness and their Autarch of the Oligarchy. While he would prefer to be by her side, the Colonel had a task that was given directly to him by the Baroness, whom he seemed always willing to please.

During her confrontation with the armoury's Commander, the situation to take the facility had taken a turn for the worse. Several members of the Sith foot soldiers were either pinned down from the defender's rate of fire or trapped out in the open where they were being cut down. Explosions from different sections erupted sending debris everywhere. Darth Venefica looked about for Vrag and Faye Terrik and did not see them. The group must have been splintered off from the main body which meant there were different fronts being fought. Either that was good or it was extremely bad. But from her vantage pointe, it looked bad.

Touching the ear piece as she moved to take cover behind one of the vehicles, she said, "Vrag.....Terrik.....what is you position?" Upon reaching the vehicles, where most of her company was stationed and fighting the enemy, she asked the closest trooper if he saw any signs of the two Sith and when he nodded his head 'no', she snarled and attempted to raise them on the comlinks again.

Looking to the sky, she wondered where that majestic beast was.

The Baroness smiled as she moved through the small village, it had finally been finished. A small smirk crossing her lips as she looked over the buildings. There was still a few cosmetic repairs that would be needed for many of the buildings, though that could wait. The most important part was the simple fact that main building she had chosen was well underway and with the workers already within, it was clear that Magrath Industries had come to Sev Tok and were planning on staying. Of course she would always have to deal with whomever would become the next ruler or those that would eventually attempt their own reclamation of the world, that would be a story for another time.

For now the Baroness was pleased, her company was on a new world. Looking up for a moment she let out a sigh of relief, one that she had been holding in for a while. Feeling the light nudge at her side, she looked down and smiled. Her Nexu purring as it rubbed against her, the blood dried now, leaving no marks upon her gown. Looking at the beast she ran her hand along its head for a moment.

"Lets get you cleaned up."

The Baroness spoke, only to be given a slight growl from the Nexu. The Baroness though gave a stern look, which immediately put the animal back in its place, it would be cleaned if she wanted to or not. Of course the Baroness would leave that job to her servants to be torn up by those claws and nipped at by those teeth. Looking back to the Colonel whom was giving final reports and commands, she nodded.

"The area is secure Baroness. A small contingent of Fenrir Guards will remain to work with security and the remaining One Sith Forces. Congratulations on your new acquisition Ma'am."

With a salute the Baroness nodded her head. Turning back towards the main building, it was not long before the trio were returned to the roof. Her private shuttle having been brought in once much of the air resistance and few pot shots had died down. Now it was time for a relaxing trip home to Avidon.
