The Fox and The Hound (Vulpesen)

More than a name? Like, being a wolf, too? Nesh pointed at her ears and then wagged her tail a little to signify this. She wasn't entirely sure if she should tell him she was a pirate. It just didn't seem like something you'd bring up to a stranger you just met. Other than that, she was.... nothing, really. Just a girl.

Vulpesen shrugged and withdrew his hand, a look of disgust as he pulled out. "There it is, ya beauty." Looking at the crimson crystal in his hand, he wiped off the blood and set it into a pocket before reaching back in and pulling out a blade. "And here's the prize of the mission." He turned to [member="Neshoba Nodi"]. "Can you at least tell me why you're here."

The smell was revolting, even though it was dulled down by the rest of the forest. Some creatures just smelled bad. Nesh watched with fascination as Vulpesen pulled out a crystal, and then a sword from the beast's insides. Where had those come from? Did they all have that inside them? As to what she was doing here, Captain Thorn had allowed her to go on a little hunting trip. He allowed her to do this because she was the only one on the crew that turned into and acted like a wolf. Instead of trying to explain all this, Nesh decided to reply with her thought-speak again.
Hunting.

He rose a brow then nodded. "Well, I've got to take this sword to the wookies. If you want to talk more, I've a ship directly north of here. I'm sure with your senses it won't be hard to miss. If not, please drop my coat off by it." With a grin, he would take to the trees, though leaving one thing, or rather person, behind. Ace was as always, following Vulpesen's orders This one, to keep an eye on the mysterious girl from the cover of the trees.

Awwwwwww! But Nesh didn't want Vulpesen to go yet! She still wanted to know more about him! She whimpered loudly as he left, running a little bit as if she could catch up to him. She then whimpered sadly in defeat. Well, looks like she'd have to look for- Wait. What was that? It sounded like... a heartbeat. But not Vulpesen's. It was an animal. And it was close-by. Nesh began sniffing in the direction of the sound. It smelled canine. There was another wolf nearby? this day just kept getting more interesting!
Nesh's eyes began to scan the tall, looming trees above her. There! Movement. It was small, but her eyes didn't miss a thing. There was definitely something watching her...

Ace scooted back into the branches, using the foliage to hide the glowing pelt and green eyes of his six inch form. Staying there for several moment, he eventually ran through the branches, thrashing is tail to make noise as he went north. While he went one way, Vulpesen raced another, eager to get this over with and find out if he would see this mystery wolf again.

Neshoba was torn. Should she follow Vulpesen, or should she follow the creature now traveling in the opposite direction? One way or another, she wasn't staying here. After a few moments of contemplation, she made up her mind. She jumped very hard, landing against a tree and propelling herself to another one. She followed the creature in this fashion, ping-ponging from tree to tree.

Ace dashed quickly to the twilight Vixen, a trip that if done at full speed with the endurance of a wolf would take only about ten minutes. Vulpesen on the other hand, would take about as long to reach the wookiees from where he'd start the negotiations for payment and publicity. Once that was over, he would head back. It would take several minutes for him to arrive, leaving the ship to be opened by Ace and giving [member="Neshoba Nodi"] what seemed to be free reign over it.

The little one was fast. Neshoba would credit the small wolf she caught glimpses of with that. But she could be fast, too. It felt more like a race as she followed it. She wasn't as high up, but she was still keeping pace with it. Before long, Nesh began to gradually get higher as she followed the wolf. Eventually they arrived at one of the landing pads in the canopy of the forest. That must be Vulpesen's ship on the platform! So, the wolf was his? Interesting...

Vulpesen quickly made his way back to the Vixen while Ace opened up the ramp and climbed in. Before too much longer, however, A form would emerge from the forest, Vulpesen running on all fours before rising back up to his two legs. wondering what the girl had done withing or around his ship, he made his way to the ramp to join them.

Shiny. VERY VERY SHINY..... Neshoba took a moment to walk several circles around the ship, her eyes very large. She had a very bad addiction to shiny things.... She snapped out of it when Vulpesen arrived. Nesh didn't step into the ship at first. She poked her head inside, sniffing and observing.

Vulpesen let out a small laugh and nodded to her. "Feel fee to go in. I might have some better clothes than this for you." He placed his hand on the coat. "Its not a good idea to go parading around the galaxy so exposed even if you are used to it." He made his way to the communal area in the center of the YT-1930, finding a large soft chair to plop into.

Neshoba cautiously stepped into the ship. She followed Vulpesen, taking in everything as precisely as she could. She liked to remember all the places she visited down to the smallest detail. It was often that she became overwhelmed with curiosity. As Vulpesen sat down, she went around looking at every little thing. Sniffing, poking, and getting up really really close to everything in the room.

He let out a small laugh and pulled out a protein bar to eat. one annoying thing about being zorren was the constant need for nourishment. Part of him wanted to just leave and get home to the mighty feasting halls.Still, his curiosity in this girl overrode that. "Never seen a ship before? Or clothes for that matter?" He knew she could talk, at least with her telepathy. Unless her name was all she could say.

Neshoba didn't expect anyone to understand why clothes weren't a priority to her. She picked up what looked like some kind of cooking device with two slots in it. What goes in there? Not many things could fit in something so small.
Ship's shiny. Full of baubles. Why?
She thought to Vulpesen. Nesh was used to bare necessities. Occasionally she'd collect little shiny things to keep hidden in a stash on a planet. But she'd never gotten around to bringing things with her. Her crew would probably remedy that eventually, though.

"Because when I'm not running a planet or a galactic power, I live in here while exploring. Also, you never know when someone is going to try and attack you. I like having as many tricks as possible if such a day comes." He thought for a moment before opening his mouth again. "You don't seem like the sort to live in the shadow lands. How did you get to kashyyyk?"

Hunting trip.
Neshoba said. She needed to get out of the civilized places sometimes. It was good for her to become a wolf every few weeks. She was much too tense otherwise. She sat down the strange two-slotted object and looked over at what Vulpesen was eating. It didn't look that tasty. Or even edible, for that matter.

Following her eyes to the protein bar, he let out a small chuckle at what seemed to be a look of disgust. "I promise, its not as bad as it looked. My people make them to sustain us on trips where we can't carry a lot of food. They're a bit rich in tastes, but that's not exactly a bad thing." He took another bite. "By the way, that's a toaster. Used for space waffles whenever Ace and I are on our really long trips."

[member="Neshoba Nodi"]

Toast-er? So that's where waffles came from? Neshoba was intrigued by this. She could also smell the bar from where she was. She'd already eaten in wolf form, but hunger was still picking at the edges of her stomach. She turned to Vulpesen and pointed to the food bar.
You sure it's good?
[member="Vulpesen"]

With a small laugh, he pulled a nutrient bar from his coat and tossed it over to her. "I wouldn't eat them otherwise." He smiled and took another bite of his own. "I guess its a common thing for canine species. The hunger I mean. I wonder if klatoonians suffer from it s well." He mused on the thought for a bit before refocusing on the conversation.
