The Great Jedi Convocation: Sigma Station (Open to All Jedi - Republic, Silvers, Levantines, etc.)

| [member="Jorus Merrill"] |

Vilox Pazela lifted his hands to the cowl of his dark robe and lifted it over his head, concealing his facial features. He turned from the holographic device he was stood upon and began to make his way out of what was once the communications area of the Jedi Temple and out into the open expanse of Coruscant, among the debris and ruble, down along the broken staircase and into the city streets, thinking.

"You probably just thought you foiled a plot, Merrill." He turned towards the spaceport ahead. "On the contrary, you did exactly what I wanted you to do."

"Everything is going as planned. Time to make contact with the Jedi Council, once more."

That all she could handle. A messenger had just walked into the room unmolested and delivered the greatest slap to the face that Karen had ever endured. And she was just supposed to stand there, smile, and call it good. After every single Darksider she'd ever struck down was for the sole purpose of extinguishing their unnatural domination from the galaxy forever. Yet, here they were. In the flesh. Godly pride and all. Calming and peacefully proclaiming to every single Jedi sect known to man, "Nah. We're good."

She licked her lips, nodded her defeat, and then quietly left the room.

The Cantina awaited.

Jorus couldn't quite repress a grimace, but he tried. "Thankya for clarifying your government's stance, Aesir. I think most of us can be satisfied that at least the Jedi who call Fringe home are available, few as they are." He tossed a glance to Ashin Varanin; it might have been a challenge, might not. Force alone knew he'd fought the Fringe more than a few times. But they said Watts and Wraith had attested that she was back, and so far she'd kept quiet except to smooth over the conference's rough edges. Just as well, too. If she mouthed off, she was out like the Sword.

"If you'll excuse us, then, Aesir."

Phylis wasn’t quite sure why the Aesir was here. They weren’t exactly Jedi after all. And trying to deal with all these sects and groups of Jedi seemed to be going about as well as a Byzantine discussion about Monophysite doctrine.
Cue mandatory vaguely smug historical reference.

“Well, that’s good to hear. Now…what’s next on the agenda?”

Getting word that her twin sister wasn't where she was suppose to be. Not what she was suppose to be doing. Having to leave the conference room. Knowing she was going to need a large bottle of her spice lace red wine after dealing with her sister again. It never seem to amaze her how much trouble one little healer like her sister can cause. Once she found out what room she was in with an patient. Looking at the clock on the wall.

The frown she wore told it all, in her body also. Arms was folded across each other on her face wasn't the smile she seem to always have but replaced by a frown. Finding it hard for her not to just got bursting into the room and drag her out by her ear. Waiting is what she did finding herself tapping her one toe on the floor. Hearing the heavy glass doors slide open then the curtain to pull away. To her the little sweet giggle her sister made when she had been up to something mischievous.

"Really Shiva you just had to go do something like that on board the station here. We to be listening in to the conference going on. Now look the miss you have caused. Looking at Jessie, giving him look down of her own. Shaking her head, "Oh, sister you gone to far this time.", closing her eyes only to open right back up. Giving her sister one of her stern look. To follow would be to look at the young man that she had trap into her little innocence game she like to play with guys as good looking as him. "Let me guess you had something wrong with you that needed to be taken care of right away.", rolling her eyes to the fact that more likely it was him thinking with the wrong head.

Taking a few deep breath after she said all she was going to say. Before putting on a more pleasent smile upon her face. "Oh by the way I'm Shalla, I'm as you can tell am Shiva twin sister, and you are sir."

The confusion flowing over Mertaal's face would be hidden behind the layer of beskargam and the pigmented black tee of her helm. His unsteady movements prompted the sure grip of her hand at his forearm, a steady foundation for him to count on for balance, her legs automatically bracing for the increased weight she'd likely need to adjust for.

Sapients deep in their cups had tendencies of blurring the line of reality and that of the mind. However, Skye had no real reason to believe that this was in fact what Ember was referring to. Kol could have been a number of individuals, or even a new nickname for that matter. All she could do is respond accordingly.

"Next time I will, Rekali," came her modulated voice, a half nod towards the exit again, the slight nudge of encouragement from her grip in his forearm. He'd be right as rain walking. Maybe.

"Get on going. Urges remember?" That came off as a lighthearted joke, intending to make him perk up a bit.

Jessie exited the room and was surprised at the sight... Another jedi from the silver order. He could see that happening but then he did a small double take before speaking. "Well I am Jessie miss and I must say you look every bit as lovely as your sister." He offered a large grin while offering his arm for [member="Shiva Horizonis"]. "Come on now we can go and get something to drink all that bridging the gap has me thirsty.

With most folk going to conversing or training or what manner of have you, the Observation Deck was pretty sparse on sapients mulling about.

But by Kalahira's blessed eyes, was the sight before her incomparable. Certainly took one's breath away. It wasn't the Flamewind, but it sure gave a reason to be thankful to the Gods above for such a creation.

Sitting here, in solitude, she didn't feel alone. No, despite that, she felt every bit comforted by the presence of those who would always walk beside her. An archaic belief most might say now a days, but for her the glory, blessing, and love of the Gods held true.

So, here, with the beatific sight that beheld her, Chloe softly began to sing softly in praise.

"Oh the desert dreams of a river, that will run to the sea...

Like my heart longs for an ocean... to wash down over me... "

THE CONFERENCE ROOM

Kiskla caught [member="Rosa Gunn"]’s look. The woman’s well-structured cheekbones indicated the smile was not one of warmth, but one of knowing. Ever-curious, Kiskla returned with a nod of her own.

The conversation was very much alive. People were being territorial and restrictive, while others kindred. The latter was a smaller portion of the attendees, however.

[member="Gilamar Skirata"] spoke his dislike of The Republic, and the blonde frowned. “Manda’lor, The Republic and doesn’t want hostilities with you — the gestures of Ord Mantell were genuine.” Not a conversation to be held at this table, and not with her. With the Chancellor. As a Jedi, her views paralleled the Mandalorian’s natural inclination to war “The Jedi Order will take note that your territory is to be respected.” If he wanted to talk about it further, fine. But the agenda was being neglected.

For a portion of time, their host was distracted with some sort of message. She heard her title and name, which made her ears perk as she studied the map of Republic space.

When [member="Jorus Merrill"] made the announcement of [member="Vilox Pazela"], Kiskla frowned. He had reached out to her on Coruscant and she had been stone-cold to his information. Kiskla rarely took anything for face-value; probably from her own experience of web-weaving. Cross referencing was always her instinct. This didn't mean, however, that she denied any information that came to her. It was good to take falsehoods and compare them against facts. She was nïeve but not in that nature. Her nïevity was in believing in the state of the galaxy could be cleansed, and people would indeed work together. Her innocence in the matter was also the base of her long-term goals. Although, this meeting was not a place for her to preach. She was in a powerful position indeed, but she was young and hadn't done anything remarkable enough to out shadow her negatively influencing predecessors. Okay. She'd condemned Matsu Ike; but Ike was only one of many. Further, her soapbox was not located in sigma station --- those negotiations would have to be on her terms, where she wasn't blindsiding the others.

Her brows lofted simultaneously at the darksider’s claim — if his region wanted to go untouched, then so be it. Merrill addressed the situation, and [member="Phylis Alince"] suggested the organization of the meeting continue.

“I think it’s safe to say The One Sith territory will be the primary focus of The Jedi Order. Our borders also touch on Black Sun space; we can oversee those regions — although I don’t plan on allowing the One Sith region to be one for much longer.” She simpered slightly, but continued to set a platform for the conversations

"There are independent planets between Thexoll and Mobus that we can also keep an eye on, although assistance from The Fringe would be welcomed. They’re near enough. As to those regions that are further from our borders, we have many mobile Jedi who are receptive to support other organizations. I think those here representing The Order with me can attest to that."

((Sorry for the poor post, time limited at the moment))

“My apologies for not introducing myself to those that do not know me, I am Iella E’ron, Council Member of The Order of the Silver Jedi”. She placed the glass of Ale on a table.

“The Silver Jedi Order have already extended friendship and support to the Levantine Sanctum and the Jedi Order, we will stand beside them when the time is needed, in the interest of fighting our common enemy .. I will extend our support to those that require it. Which includes the Mandalorians”, she said with a glance toward Gilamar Skirata, “I cannot offer vast fleets or battalions soldiers, we have some resources which we will make available but we do have a very strong contingent of Jedi Healers as well as Jedi”.

Once [member="Gilamar Skirata"] and [member="Soliael Devin Talith"] had finished their formal appearances before the conference, silence fell until Phylis asked where they were to go from here, and Kiskla added her own voice. Between Kiskla and Iella, and previous Levantine statements, that meant the three biggest branches of the Jedi were onboard. And that right there was success enough.

"We've covered the New Order threat, at least partway, Master Alince," said Jorus. "The Crusade feels they've got their end of things well in hand, and between them and the Confederacy, I'm doubting the Horde'll be in a position to hurt people for a long time, if ever. The Confederacy worries me some -- there's Sith connections there at high levels -- and then there's the whole One Sith bit." He grinned without humor. "That's what that call was, by the by. Sith tryin' to drive a bigger wedge between Jedi and Mando than's already there. False flag accusations. Y'all may not have much love for each other these days, but Force knows nobody in this room would take the side of the One Sith. Not after Donanyd, Rhommamool and Osarian, not after Junction and Toprawa, not after the nuke at Keldabe. We're all pretty fething clear on this stuff. My conversation with Vazela or Vilox or whatever he calls himself reminded me that not everyone might know a few things.

"First off, I know the One Sith folks that hit the Fondor shipyards, and as a result it's pretty fething clear that the One Sith are backed by Darth Apparatus, who led the invasion that saw Keldabe's outskirts get nuked, and Darth Vornskr, the former Emperor Kaine Zambrano, King of Panatha." His eyes narrowed just slightly. "I hope I'm not comin' on too strong here, Varanin, but Panatha's one of the independent worlds inside Fringe territory. If y'all are serious about the One Sith bein' a trouble, talk to your leaders, your High Council. Get them to nail down their people's allegiances. Ask'em if they're satisfied with their bannermen bowing to both them and the One Sith's Dark Lord -- because I guarantee that's not in the Fringe's best interests. So if you're serious about contributing to this sort of galactic coverage, take some steps that way, yeah?'

His eyes flickered with hyperlight for a moment. "As far as Black Sun space goes, my gut says the Suns hate the Feds - the Confederacy -- more than they hate the Republic. The One Sith are a trouble, to be sure, but my instinct tells me we'll have trouble with the Feds, the Suns, the Horde, that whole region in the southeast. It's gettin' powderkeg-like. On the pretty serious assumption that we can handle the One Sith, or that they burn'emselves out, I think we better start laying groundwork for taking care of that potential situation. That's my home ground, the Mara Corridor, Omega space, Hutt territory. I'm more than fine with helping coordinate folks when it comes to that region, if action ends up bein' necessary. Thoughts?"

Shiva couldn't help but have smirk on her arm. Taking the arm given to her by Jessie. "Oh, sister you worry to much.", giving Jessie a playful wink. Only to find herself wondering off from him. Giving all the her paper work to the one of the medical droids. It would take care of the rest. Finding herself to once again take the young gentleman arm. "I"m with you, Jessie I could use a drink now.", letting this one lend the way. Just getting to the Medical area taken so many wrong turn. Putting this out of her mind as made it and now going to take her leave. "Well, Shalla are you coming, I promise he don't bite like the last one.", giving her a grin.

"Oh, Jessie its a long story but yea my last one I ran off with, like to bite a lot.", as she let herself wrap herself into his side. Just maybe her hand slip down to give his butt cheek a squeeze. "Yep it still there and very firm.", as her boots could be heard echoing down the hallway.

He nodded along to his Order's Grandmaster, Kiskla Grayson. There were quite a few mobile Jedi who helped where they were needed within the Galaxy. He was one of said Jedi, and he was glad to do it. He had yet to encounter a government that hadn't wanted him present, so it was best to make his intentions vocal now.

"As Master Grayson said, there are quite a few Jedi that are mobile. I will extend my aid to any that I can." He turned his head to look at the Mand'alor. "I would also be honoured if the Mand'alor allowed me into his space to help where needed. Whether it be in defense of those that follow you, or attacking the Sith. I will be there."

He inclined his head to show that he was done and then he realized that he was never around within the Jedi Order. And if he was, it was only to train his Padawans in preparation to face off against wandering Sith. Your Padawans are your connection to the Order.

"Consider the message passed along," said Ashin quietly. "It's a matter of some concern and debate in the High Council. The price of having a pluralistic society, but I agree that it's time for a firmer hand with those of the Fringe who claim multiple allegiances. I can promise this gathering that action will be taken."

His wife had called him by his last name too, and he by hers. Brembla Kol-Rekali had gone by 'Kol' for the majority of her life. The hand on his arm didn't help much.

"Missed you, y'know," he said, glancing over his shoulder at the hall that might lead to the conference room. Then again, it might not. "Benna missed you most of all."

His fingers hooked on the plate that protected her forearm. "If you're back - dear gods, Kol, tell me she's coming back too."

All Shalla could do was look at her sister shaking her head. "Do what you, must Shiva just remember we are repetitive of the Silver jedi order here. Looking at Jessie with just rolling her eyes. "Don't do anything to hurt her, or I'll have to hunt you down boy.", knowing the idea of leaving her sister with him. It couldn't be helped. Walking out of the room, with seeing them both in each other arms. "Shiva try and keep out of trouble please, Council will not like it if you do on this trip.", with that she walked the other way from the cantian.

Slipping quietly into the room. As she did so, taking up her own seat. Listening to what was being said, before she let herself look at Master Iella. Pulling from her a data pad. Only to find herself having to gather up enough to get up in such a large gathering. It had fallen to her. Knowing she was the one working the closest with the Silver cross creator. Being good with the behind the also that her sister would be one of the healers on board the ship. It wasn't far from ready but it would be getting there. Finding herself open armed as she stood up. "Ladies and Gentlemen if I could have but a moment of your time. ", letting all eyes fall on her. Picking up the data pad, that she had wrote some of her thoughts down upon. "I first off, apologize that Miss Whitelight isn't here personal to speak upon the Silver cross that is being created with in the Order of the Sliver jedi." pausing once more. "If an idea that has very good sense in the galaxy that seem to be full of so many wars now, I hoping that others would orders, would be on board even maybe add to the one ship we have coming to us. Silver Cross will deliver medical aid in battle and also after wards to aid in humanitarian aid. To make this bigger fleet, I ask to consider that think about giving The Cross a few ships to turn into medical aid ships. The best care can be brought to during war, we aren't asking for much.", with that she looked and waited to see what others would have to say in the matter.

The perk up didn't quite work out as intended. That was clear as day the more he spoke, revealing a bit more with every word. There was emotion to it, as sure as the heavy weight of his fingers grasping her forearm.

That cherry red cybernetic ocular went locking into Ember's, the gray eye hidden behind her helm reflecting a dawning understanding. He wasn't seeing her.

No, it ain't me he's looking at...

That tone of voice she could understand well. In it was a measure note of loss edged with desperation. Whoever 'Kol' and 'Benna' were, they were mighty important to Rekali. Enough to say he missed Kol something fierce.

Her fingers would squeeze his forearm in an attempt to comfort. He was well in his cups, enough for him to mix her presence with someone from his past.

"That isn't my call." she'd say in a softer tone, choosing to pause a bit for Ember to gather his bearings. She couldn't have him appearing in the meeting with his mind elsewhere.

But how to approach it? It was a delicate situation, and it was a side of Rekali she was sure none had seen in a long while. A man had things he'd rather keep private.

"Rekali.... It's Mertaal," she finally said, carefully and quietly reminding him of who she was. Course she wasn't sure if he'd heard her, much the less register what she was saying. The mind could wander and the mind could choose to see what it wanted to believe or hear as it's way to cope.

Vulpesen's boots tapped against the floor o the conference room as he entered. However, such a sound was the only truly noticeable thing that heralded his entrance. He wasn't trying to hide, in fact he would likely speak up once he realized what he was listening to. But for now, Vulpesen settled with finding himself a place to rest. His eyes went around to observe the people around him, eventually coming upon the jedi master, Syn. With several steps he made it to the masters side with a nod of greeting, deciding to lean against a nearby wall as he observed the precedings. With his shadow fox armor, he would be quite recognizable as he stood out among the crowd in dark duraweave and shining phrik. He had heard of this conclave and he had arrived. Now to see what awaited him in this amazing place, filled with the light side of the force.

Syn had been remaining quiet in the meeting, he had nothign to really add preferring to sup[port any decision as long as it helps the people. The Silver jedi were being proactive to try and find things, their quest for more artifacts to heal and protect was commendable and his head turned to see Vulpesen another he had seen as a padawan and was now a master. Compared to others he had trained it made him feel old. He waited for the man to come near him and while still looking like a teenager compared shook his hand with all the respect he had. Fellow jedi were always valued. "Master Vulpesen." He spoke low while liostening to the one who entered talking about the silver cross avoiding the subject of the Fringe.

Jessie looked at the sisters and he led the way while the one went to the conference room. He kept his arm wrapped around Shiva and spoke. "Oh I'll take good care of her, worry not." The short walk to the cantina brought him in and towards a booth while getting two drinks. "So darlin what are you planning to do after this, I find myself without a padawan and an urge to travel around the galaxy."
