Tives men avoided any fortifications or points of intreats on their way back to the out skirts of the city. this bunker was we concealed and small enough not to be a target for a planetary invasion. elevators had been put out of commission by sith bombardments, so after the long dissent down the stairs Tives made it to the war room. be stormed in a demanded the call for total retreat
"give out the signal. the planet is lost, all forces on standby are to evacuate" the young officer looked as if he was about to question Tives rank, but then turned back to his station and sent the prerecorded message of general Baldear's voice on every possible frequency, coalition, Imperium, sith and civilian. everyone would get the message. it didn't matter if the sith knew, it was to late to stop.

"we have fought bravely but it is time to live and fight another day. all Forces, coalition and Imperium, are advised to evacuate immediately. repeat. all forces are to evacuate immediately"
the transmission repeated on a loop
everyone was still in the bunker as the first two cycles of the transmission played over the intercom. sergeant Tives broke the silence
"ok everyone get to you ships now!".
men and women in bunkers all over the planet crammed themselves into any ship that looked like it might fly. many ships were gunned down before making it much hire then the roof line. soon a swarm of fighters, freighters and corvettes made its way to the sith blockade. the
Legionnaire's were small but could out run almost anything. hundreds of them had been hidden within the ruined city and were now being piloted by anyone who could be fond. many of the one man ships now held two or three people as they tried desperately to escape the sith. the corvettes opened fire on the much larger sith warships as they pushed their way into the atmosphere.
Tives looked back from his Legionnaire, the few remaining planetary guns still fired. he had no idea how many men had been left on the planet but they still were fighting like worriers, or fools.
