The Menagerie [SJO Dominion of Amar, Z-28]

Jyoti huffed softly in amusement."I don't know about that. I'm just trying to do right by here. She's the first serious apprentice I've had since transferring from the Kiribian Enclave to the Silver Order."

From the sounds of it, Josh seemed to be having some mixed results with his Dragon School, which she was sure all stemmed from his approach taking on multiple students.

"Two things would help. First is refraining from grabbing up new students as they come. Many Padawans require special attention to address, the kind that only comes from an intimate one on one mentorship. Fewer students would help solve the second issue, which is a lack of flexibility in your so-called program. Such a regimented teaching style is better for initiates at the temple who require a foundation for later."

"That said, we can't win over everyone. People come and go. However, whatever path someone may choose, I always like to leave them with the knowledge that they're always welcome to the Silver Order for refugee when they need it. We're as much of a sanctuary as an educational institution."

"Sometimes you seem more like her mother" He half-joked. He was being truthful, though in his Josh sort of way. But he would listen to the analysis that Jyoti gave in regards to how he trained his students. From taking fewer students, to adding more flexibility to his regiment, Josh listened to her carefully with attentive ears and eyes. Perhaps he could add a bit more flexibility to it all... He'd been slowly doing that anyway. The "how" was a bit harder to figure out, but perhaps it would come to him as he went.

"I'll keep that in mind, thank you" He spoke with a ginger nod of his head. "But I think we've talked business enough for one day. How has Miss Nooran been?"
