The Sacking of Zeltros

Zeltros - A planet riddled with pheromones. A small part of Kana didn’t even want to be here. Everything had it’s own little spike of allure to it and the urge to just not be her new self was proving hard to contain. She wanted to get out there and see the cantinas and other forms of entertainment, to have some fun and not be stuck in the spaceport. In a sense it was a twisted kind of irony that she once again found herself amongst the dockworkers as the rest of the planet was out partying.

At least the rain had started to fall. Each drop came to an end with a soothing little ripple that helped Kana calm herself down and phase out the things that were calling out to her. Except for the pheromones and rain there were something else in the air. Kana had come to trust these bad feelings; she had always been proven right at each turn whenever it had plopped up. It told of something lurking in the shadows, that Kana needed to be on her guard and she was willingly complying.

She went on with her patrol around the spaceport. Holding her hand out into the downpour she let the waters cover her hand for a bit before retracting it. The cuff on her black jumpsuit was soaked and clinged to her wrist as she let out a sigh.

She truly had a really bad feeling about all this.

Watching the scene with a frown, the Mon Calamari shook his head, sighing softly. After getting on the planet as a tourist, he soon realized this task would be vastly different from what he had imagined. Carefully stepping over the bodies of Zeltrons someone else had killed earlier, the amphibian thought about a certain Zeltron Jedi healer, [member="Maya Whitelight"]. Kind and selfless, the healer had taught him how to use the Light Side and heal himself if needed. A fun-loving and flirty woman. Others of her species were very much the same, living one endless party, and although Veles did not support this lifestyle, he had nothing against those practicing it. His big orange eyes swiveled towards the ground, watching a young pink skinned woman with a hole burned through her chest, the expression on her face showing pain and surprise. Such a pointless death that served no-one.

Veles had to wonder what the woman did to earn herself this fate. Most likely nothing; her death was just a product of insanity that started running rampant through his beloved Sith. But were they really Sith? A true Sith never killed needlessly, without purpose. What was the purpose of this slaughter, this madness? To draw in the Jedi Order? Veles could think of many more ways of doing so, ways that did not require innocents to die. He saw no glory or honor in this battle, if one could even call it like that.

Shifting his gaze towards the sky, the Sith Master clenched his fists as more sensations rippled through the Force, informing him of more deaths. "Fools," he hissed, "Stupid, bloodthirsty fools." Reaching out through the Force, he soon found several Sith, their dark and twisted signatures radiating cruelty and malice. Imbeciles, weaklings, retards. The Imperial half told Veles to do the right thing and kill that waste of Force sensitivity, while the Sith side commanded him to stay loyal to the Sith, at least until the hated Republic lied in ruins. Those two sides clashed and battled as the Mon Cal could not decide. He could not fight against his people, but at the same time, he also could not ignore this mass murder of innocents that was taking place everywhere, this pointless slaughter than made the One Sith no better than the Jedi in his eyes.

In the end, he picked the worst option available, yet the one that did not go against his beliefs. Silently turning on his heels, he left, swiftly moving through the streets, finding new purpose in life. Veles did his best not to think what this decision meant for [member="Darth Banshee"] or his former Master. Hopefully the two would not be punished for his "treason".

Corvus’ was troubled as she travelled to Zeltros. A lot had happened to her since the last time she’d answered the call to defend a planet against the One Sith. Most of it was good – some was bad. Very, very bad indeed.

Was she better prepared this time around? Yes and no was the fairest answer. Having a lightsaber was a good start. But as she cradled in her hands the shoto she had recently taken to wearing – she remembered the not so good. This mission was not about revenge – that was not the Jedi way. But it might provide some answers or at least some new questions that might lead to a solution.

And her faith, so close to breaking on her home planet, was fragile once more. Recent conversations had her doubting herself – and that was never a good place to be at the best of times. And this was certainly not the best of times.

So she dressed quickly as the pilot indicated they would soon be landing. Eschewing her traditional robes, she donned the clothes she’d so recently been given. They were still Jedi dress, and had been crafted historically to show the wearer’s commitment to the Lightside and to provide extra protection in the ongoing battle against the Sith and the forces of the Darkside.

Heavier than traditional robes, they were composed in part from armorweave, impervium and durasteel.

Next Corvus placed the Jedi Shadow mask on her face. Another symbol of her dedication to the cause. It concealed her features to show that her emotions didn't matter and that she was ever willing to place her own self aside for the sake of the Galaxy. And it provided the practical benefit of holding the breathing mask that would filter out the pheromones present in abundance here.

Finally, sliding on the gauntlets, Corvus disembarked. Her path was set for her. She felt a presence she hadn’t felt since…the last time she saw Elara alive. But it wasn’t the Padawan’s Force signature she recognised.

Ceran moved through the streets carefully. He avoided the major avenues and roads, cutting through backways and tiny spaces between buildings. He knew Zeltros well enough that it wasn't hard. Many bounties came here trying to hide or live it up before they went to prison. He understood the urge, though he had never followed through himself on that, even when he had run with a bunch of smugglers.

Quickly the Bounty Hunter made it to the outer palace walls.

For a moment he waited, watching as searchlights scanned over the walls, dampened by the rains. As soon as they passed he threw a small hook over the edge. The metal caught, and Ceran quickly scrambled up the duracrete, landing on the other side with a loud thud.

His rifle unslung itself from his shoulder, landing in his hands. The sniper rifle would hardly be useful in his task here, the crossbow and blasters on his thigh and lower back would be far more suited to inside of the palace. Still, for getting inside, there was nothing better than the particle beam rifle, mostly because its shots would draw attention.

The Bounty Hunter moved swiftly, taking up position 200 yards away, giving him perfect view of the main balcony.

I smiled intently as people ran. Trying oh so very hard to save their lives. It wasn't all that bad. I mean, sure the flames hurt.... really fething bad. But once you got used to them it wasn't so bad. I mean. your nerve endings will end up fried and you can't feel anything. Despite this, I took the last swigs of my drink. Sat the glass down, and walked out of the burning bar. Yes it was raining, but not hard enough to stop an alcohol fueled fire that was setting everything ablaze. I walked down the street almost inconspicuous. Moving my way to the Spaceport.

My job was to destroy the ships. Fairly easy since I had the force. It took me very little time to walk there. With all the man people trying to move away from the burning building, as well as some towards the fiery club to see all the action, or to try and "save" people. I didn't care. my path was relatively cleared for now. A few bumped into me trying to point me towards the fire. All of this excitement over just some flames. Damn these people needed to get a life other than drinking themselves into the beds of others.

I stood just outside of the spaceport. Smiling as I walked up. The guards were easily thrown around. These guards were more so just bouncers or old vets that didn't have to correct gear to combat one with the force. Two easy grabs at them with the force, and chucking them to the side. One to slam into the wall, while the other was thrown all the way down the street. Where he ended up? nobody knows! And I don't care.

Walking into the inside, there were more "guards" that were semi-easily dispatched. With the element of surprise gone, They fired at me with blaster rifles. My red lightsaber blades ignited with the saberstaff. Snapping to life to send the blaster bolts away from myself. in a break of the shooting, I grabbed one man's rifle and spun him. His next shots were aimed towards his pal. Shooting him instead of me. I didn't blame him though. It was an accident. "Awww. You just murdered your friends in cold blood." There was a snap sound as his head turned completely around with a twist of my hand. His body slumped onto the ground. A total of five men. Two from outside, three inside.

It was with a few turns around the corner that I saw three spacers talking. My red blades humming in the almost silent air. When one of them saw me, I snapped his neck as well. Once more with a twist of my wrist. Both of the other spacers tried to pull out their pistols, only, I was on them before that. The first one was cut into three pieces with a single swing of my saber. Because of the spinning uses of the double bladed lightsaber, one blade cut at his neck while I was up in the air, and as I continued down, the second red blade came in after with a cut to his shoulder all the way down to his groin. His body fell as the spacer to my left fired at me.

My left arm came up, a golden gauntlet appeared from my wet cloak and took the hit. Yes, I would now have a bruise later on my arm, but I pushed the man into the wall. He slammed hard. Not enough to kill him, but enough to knock his head around. I walked over. Leaning down as he was getting out of his dazed state. "Thank you for your keys." I stuffed my hand in his pockets to find a set of keys for his ship. I placed my hand on his throat, Picking him up physically with his back against the wall. "Now tell me, where is your ship, and what model is it."

(OOC: Open to anyone fighting me.)

Cypra Krum

"No Power without Pain"
Sure enough the commotion had already started, a good indication for Cypra to make her move while others scurried away in fear of what was going on. This place was a powder keg on the verge of blowing sky high now and there was no telling who was going to get caught up in the mix. Cypra likes the idea of a full out destructive battle between all of these force users, a means of proving herself many time over if need be.

She calmly finished her meal as the vendors ran away in fear before turning for the palace. She pushed her way past screaming people before coming towards he guards. They, still wrapped up in the confusion did not notice her approach at first. When they did they told her to stand back or risk being hurt by what was going on, only for her to reveal her sabre underneath and slice through both of them.

"Thanks for the warning." she commented before making her way inside.

She could sense others around. Light and dark side users. She had to fish one of them out and deal with them long enough for whatever was needed to be done. More guards approached and noticed her, indicating to stop Cypra. She smirked as she held her blade up before rushing towards them in a flash.

Balaya felt it in the air as she opened her eyes, the purple cybernetics flicking around and zooming in. The enhancements to her ears coming as she listened past the music and spoke. "Elara sneak away and do not get caught. I will attack the spaceports and draw them to me. You will sneak through the tunnels below and cut the fuel lines so when the moment comes it can all go up as a great ball of fire." The zeltron didn't need to turn her head as she saw Elara bow out the corner of her eye and slink into the shadows. the sith mask covering what was her face while she ran off.

The package of her pet was being delivered still and she was tracking it as the datapad chirped while it reached the outer palace walls and was being checked. Rare and exotic creatures were sent all the time and this one was labeled from the Lord Protector himself. A grand gift to share with the king and queen of zeltros of a newly discovered ropo species. It amused Balaya while her familiars senses came to her, the corellian bird like being she had left in the care of Corvus and watched the young jedi. More amusement flickering across her face while she spoke to herself and the air in the room.

"Oh this is just becoming better and better." The familiar sight of Kana was there as well, the girl healed from her meeting with Balaya now while the large Zeltron rose up standing in the room. She dropped all shields and stopped muting her aura. A dark glow of the darkside while she brushed her wardens cloak off and closed the black thing around her. All thick and looming, her hair inside while the barest hint of her jawline could be seen in the low light as she walked towards the spaceport across the street. Balaya walked slowly letting the crowd around her part as the tall beast of a sith looked on at the walls then spoke.

"Almost time." The second familiar she had brought screeched landing on her shoulder with its boney chest and crooked beak. Balaya was enjoying this now far to much while she awaited the arrival of the jedi and what might come from it. The palace had them gathering, the package past the outer gates and heading up, soon the ropo would be waking up and crying out which would begin her showing of how powerful it truly could be. She didn't need Glitter when she could summon worse things from beyond. The look at the rest happening kept her attentions while her time to dance was now ready. The talons clinking against the stone.

The party line as Shinju moved with it went away from the palace, she could feel so many were there and it was not pleasant or conductive to be another cog. She wanted to go somewhere fun and as she moved with several of the zeltrons getting a look from one when the woman felt her and raised an eyebrow. The master let her eyes fall on the communications while she started walking over. There were a few things she could think to do for destroying it and as Shinju slowly drank in all the energies from the people around her dark honey eyes glowed and tingled. She was feeling the power behind them and it itched. She could feel more people and brushed a strand of hair back as she approached one of the guards leading up and smiled sweetly. His eyes turning to her before she was holding him and eating, his lips allowing the energy to slip out into her while warmth, force energy and emotions fueled her powers. She could feel the warmth slipping until against her lips were ice crystals and looking at him Shinju let the man drop aside with the sound of shattering glass coming. She looked up and laugh seeing the communications.

The ground shifted beneath her feet and the maidens pressed in closer to stop her from falling. It was unbearable, painful. Bad enough to be here when carsunum wasn't coursing through her veins, now she could raise no barrier and so every emotion scraped across her mind like razor blades over an exposed nerve. Head bowed beneath her hood her face contorted with pain as her finger clutched at the arms of those supporting her.

She was waiting for the ripple, waiting for the inevitable shift in the emotion around her. Waiting for when she could silence them, to end the pain. Fingers dug in deeper to the maidens, nails cutting into flesh. Their fear was like a fresh release, a trigger for the beast within. Hungry and angry it rose and she lifted her head amber eyes glittering in the half light. She might have smiled beneath her hood as the ripples began, the smell of smoke reached her nose and the ripples grew.

Fear overcame joy. Terror snuffed out the positive emotion around her and Rosa fed upon it. The handmaidens made no noise as the golden tendrils took them first, they simply dropped and Rosa stood a little taller, hood spilling back to reveal the golden mask beneath. Her hand grasped the next passing soul whose went wide with fear as she reached into the recesses of his mind to bring his greatest fears to life.

"Scream for me."

His mouth went wide but he could utter no scream, for Rosa took his breath and his life. The crowd were pushing back from her now, there fear irresistible as the scrambled like mice to escape her. She let go of the corpse, spears of midnight black forming around her, hovering for a moment before plunging into the mass of bodies. Then they screamed.

And beneath her mask, Rosa wept.

Vyctora had never been to Zeltros before. Her master had informed her that a secret mission would be carried out on Zeltros tonight. And it involved shedding Jedi blood. That sounded like fun, fun, FUN. "At last", she thought to herself. "Some action." It was her first real mission as an sith apprentice, and not only was she more than adequately skilled in combat and she was also more than eager to take part. Vyctora was practically giddy with excitement. As she arrived in the spaceport, she thought to herself, "I wonder where the pooboo master is. Probably causing havoc somewhere."

She got down from her ship, told D4 to take care of the ship, and keep it ready. D4 beeped in acknowledgement, and with that, she was off. First task at hand, join up with master, then, chaos, maybe. She wandered the spaceport, skipping along as she went, until she heard a commotion in one of the neighbouring hangars. As she approached the source of the noise, a pair of spaceport guards leveled their blaster rifles at her, asking her to drop her weapons. Smirking, she thought, "Brave, but stupid." Vyctora turned around and made a motion to unhitch her double-bladed saber from her belt, assuming a surrender stance, but as she approached the ground, She flipped over them, igniting both blades of her saber staff as she went, deflecting the blaster bolts streaming from their rifles, and with two spins of the blade, impaled both of the soldiers, ending their foolish lives instantly. Vyctora then hurried over to where Nick was force choking a guard on the wall, exclaiming in delight "Ahh, there you areee! Found yaaa!"

Layers... it was all about layers.

Lavender eyes would quietly peer upon [member="Rosa Gunn"] from beneath a cordial mask of curiosity. Causality. The actions of one shall therefore cause an effect. Fear and dread would pour from the woman within the depths of her mental translocation. Watching. Waiting.

There was a similarity to the phobis like method of fear of the gilded masked woman. It would stir in her familiarity. Ahhh... the Voss mystic dreamwalker would follow in pursuit.

Curiouser and curiouser.

Objective: Protect civilians, and combat hostiles

Flint was quite fond of Zeltros. Despite its licentious party-all-day lifestyles, the planet still reflected the prosperity of the Republic that it was being governed under. Here, laughter, pheromone, and music drowned out the grim realities of the real world. It was far from the One Sith, and for the planet's inhabitants, the takeover of Coruscant and Alderaan by the Sith were distant concerns. Perhaps it was Zeltros's location so deep within Republic space that allowed its inhabitants to feel so secure, and feel free to party all day and night. Whatever the case, Flint had chosen to visit Zeltros to relax a little and take a short break from being a Jedi. Coming here, however, turned out to be a bad decision.

The Jedi Knight looked around in confusion when the noise around him abruptly ceased. Sounds of care-free laughter in the partying streets from moments before had been replaced by terrified gasps. Then Flint felt it. Something was terribly wrong. Zeltros was in danger. As his hand automatically reached for his lightsaber hilt, Flint tried to look past the crowd that was blocking his view. "He's dead!" A terrified voice said from somewhere inside the crowd. Then suddenly, the crowd scattered. Flint could detect the fear that gripped the civilians' minds, and he shifted quickly to the side to avoid getting stepped on by the fleeing crowd. Then Flint witnessed who had caused the panic.

It was hard to describe what he saw. Masked people. Dying people on the ground, whose screams were deafening. Flint had never seen such a sight before. "Let the innocent civilians go." he said, igniting his cyan lightsaber, unsure of what else he could say. He pointed his lightsaber blade threateningly at the masked person, trying to figure out who this could possibly be.

Kian Karr finally opened his eyes and rose off the steps of the thrown room. He could feel it. Feel the death and the pain that emanated from the city. He wished he could be there. He wished he could be out there standing between the Sith and their horrible crimes. But he had his orders. Turning toward his padawan [member="Uther Weiss"], Kian placed a hand on his shoulder.

"When they get here, things will be rough," He knew that the Echani had a life before he came to the Jedi and therefore Kian wasn't particularly worried about him....at least no more so then any master worried for his apprentice, "remember your training and you'll be fine."

Turning away from his apprentice Kian began to examine the room. The room had been sealed off to prevent any security breaches. All persons were being turned away at the gates, packages coming into the palace were being placed in the storage room by the security checkpoint at the main gate. Many of the security forces were out of the palace, escorting flee civilians to safety, but a force was still manning the palace and many were inside the thrown room. Kian could feel the tension in the air. This was often the worst part of a battle....the long wait. Kian had heard that Jedi Master [member="Lan Graendal"] was at the palace and this brought some comfort to Kian. He had sparred with the experienced master before and knew the man's abilities, at least his combat abilities.

Kian approached the chief of security. "How are the men?" He asked. "A little worried." The chief of security admitted, "they are good men, but they aren't use to an onslaught like this." Kian nodded his head and thought Who Was! "I understand." Kian said. Stepping back to be alongside his padawan, Kian began probing the minds of the men and women around him. He pushed out feelings of confidence and calmness, trying to allay some of the fears of the men.

I could hear blaster fire off to my left. I ignored it for now as the man started to speak. Trying through his lips. "Freighter, Dock numb... 4" I smiled politely to him. Nodding my head as I could hear a familiar voice. I smiled turning my head to my apprentice. "it is good to see you my dear." I then let the man fall onto the ground clutching his throat. Trying to breath normally. "Do with this man as you will. Then come follow me." Walking towards her, I stopped right at her side. Facing away from her, but down the hall instead.

"Don't make me wait."

I then walked off towards station four.

"Oh, and you may want to tell D4 that I will be destroying the ships. Have him go into orbit to avoid getting shot down." I spoke over my shoulder. Walking onwards with my saber shutting off.

Amber eyes blinked at the abnormality, a brave heart among the cowards. She tilted her head slightly assessing the threat but the beast within overrode her, the beast within simply wanted to feed, it didn't care what was a threat.

Run, you idiot. Run as fast as you can.

"No one is innocent. This is zeltros, here, sins are committed in their thousands."

A wave rippled out from her, inflicting fear. Blind in panic, another civilian crossed her path. One step past her and fear froze his limbs, a hand reach for him and he screamed. Only for a moment, a heartbeat was all it took to drain his life.

Not enough. Not enough to fill her needs.

She turned the amber eyes to the Jedi once more. Shadows rose around her, dark illusions, with glowing red eyes. She sent them into the skittish crowd, theirs screams amplified. Perhaps breaking him would be enough? She reached for the Jedi's mind, seeking to find the darkness within.

"Will you scream for me, Jedi?"

Jericho was in the red light district; the lorrdian spent some time in shady environments as he was once a Jedi Sentinel and now a sith-hunter and humble master of three. He usually stayed in these area because it was more likely he would be able to gather information on anything he want but tonight, these run down parts of cities always had the best dumplings, noodles and other exotic foods. Jericho was sitting outside on the ground, enjoying some dumplings, along side his padawans; the determined, Emily Kao, the silent, Nagate Hei, and the royal Nephesh Raivah. It was a rarity that Jericho would take them out to merely enjoy themselves and just relax from their usual intense training regiments. As he bit into a dumplings an uproar started in the district and though Jericho wasn't originally curious to see what the fuss was about he felt the energies of the dark side. Sith. He finished off

He casually sat up and looked out toward the street. As Jericho put a dumpling in his mouth, as the smell of smoke came from a distance and sounds of the people screaming entered his ears. He moved to see that a nearby dance club was under attack as well as many other places. Jericho cringed slightly at the sight; the dumpling he put into his mouth, was chewed slowly as he looked around then promptly swallowed. He looked down at his hot dumplings and padawans then let out a heavy sigh. It was depressing to see their time of relaxing was already cut short as well as the food being wasted.

After giving a his padawans a moment to relax, the lorrdian put on his combat breathing mask. He looked his robe and tightened his armor straps once more for safe precaution. He patted his saber belt and felt all three, put his pack strap and check for his usual supply of grenades and other gear. He looked to all three of his padawans and handed them each a sentinel sound dampener as his first master gave to him when he was her padawan. "This is a sound dampener. As the name states, it will make your movements silent so keep this on at all times. This was meant to be a gift but as it seems we will need to use it in the current situation we are in." He said calmly. "Now my padawans, you can either go back to the ship and fly to the nearest safe house or stay here and with me. But remember you MUST stay close at all times and don't try to take on a sith on your own."

He look pressed on the comlink in his ear and switched the frequency to the republics for a moment as he formally was apart of the republic and still having many friends and allies in the order, he still had a comlink to the frequency. "To all Republic units and any Jedi on planet, I am Master Jericho and I will do what I can to assist in this. But I advise getting organized quickly as the sith are. -Jericho out." He stated over the link before promptly cutting out and switching back to his usual frequency. He looked to his padawans and gave them a nod, shortly after a scream from nearby crowd entered his ear. 'HE'S DEAD!' Shouted the voice and quickly Jericho raced through the crows to see a female sith of immense power stand before him, strangely her signature was familiar.

He ignored it for now and looked to the Jedi knight, [member="Flint Dexen"] standing bravely and threatening the powerful masked woman. In turn he activated one of his single bladed sabers, it's purple light shining brightly around them. Knowing that the man was dead, he turned to the crowd and calmly stated, "Run." As the word left his lips, he let out a more calming aura from his force signature to try to counter the fear aura she sent out and the majority of the crowd immediately ran leaving the once crowded street, now empty as a burning ghost town. He looked over to Flint and gave the young man a nod, before lowering his mask for a split second and letting a powerful force bellow concentrated at her. He raised his mask over his face once more and went into the Nimen stance waiting for her to make her move.

Seras kept moving through the streets, the charged energies almost crackling around her as the tension seemed to be rising up and up. Any moment now she was expecting the pop and explosion of battle but it wasn't coming yet. Instead she was focused solely on a few while slowly the garhoon grabbed one of the zeltrons moving into a darkened alley as her hand was over the womans mouth pushing her against the wall. Her fingers pointing at her eyes and she spoke. "Be in me, look into my eyes and be in me." Her finger stayed there until the girl was focused on them and with the force she was pushing it into her mind.

The she was moving them to her yellow eyes pulling at that force energy to get her to focus and her mind to be open for attack. Slowly she pushed more repeating the process until she had the zeltron standing there kind of limp without resisting. "You want to help us... You want to spread the doctrine of the Dark Lord and the One Sith. You want to serve so that you will be rewarded." The look on the woman while she kept her fingers dancing came but Seras had what she was needing and let her go while she spoke more. "Come with me, I will be an assistant and your pheromones will come in handy but first we need weapons."

Seras suppressed her grin at that just backing away while the woman stood there waiting for her order. "Follow and when you see a jedi run at them trying to claw their eyes out with your bare hands."

Through the scope Ceran could clearly see that they were locking down the palace. The doors were closing, the window shutters were lowered, and the Guards began to stand outside on the balcony watching for anyone and everyone that moved.

Positioned deep in the gardens within a large thicket of flowers, Ceran aimed his B-201 Particle Beam Rifle directly towards one of the guards. Even through the pouring rain Ceran could see everything, his HUD and the added sensors within the scope aided in that. He saw the blobs of heat coming from the guards and let the barrel of his rifle fall over one of the men that stood by the closed doors. The man shivered, cold.

Ceran little his finger fall over the trigger.

He squeezed.

A bright yellow bolt burst from the rifle and shot out in an instant, striking the guard and exploding. The window behind him burst, sending glass and shards of wood flying into the palace. The guard dropped to the floor, instantly dead.

Ceran frowned, then moved into another thicket, hiding himself.

Sorrow. It was kneeing me in the gut, infecting me as far as the marrow of my bones, pulling me down into this little ball. What had I done? Did I truly believe the nonsense I had spouted out? I joined the Sith to protect my loved ones. Not end them. She... she would of understood... "There is no emotion; there is peace. There is no ignorance; there is knowledge. There is no passion; there is serenity. There is no chaos; there is serenity. There is no death; there is only the force." I muttered those words under my breath, attempting to regain composure. All it did was stir a rage in me. Of course there's emotion! Who ever has peace inside them? For feth's sake, I'm an empath! Everywhere around me it's all ever see or feel. Anger. Sadness. Excitement. Contempt. Disgust. Jealousy. Lust. No matter where I looked I found it. "Lies. IT'S ALL LIES!" The familiar snap-hiss of my lightsaber turning on greeting my ears once more. Snarling I spun around, knowing that at least one adversary would be there. What I wasn't expecting was to see Krum. One of my least/most favorite person I'd ever met. Were we gonna double team an old man? I hoped not.

With a sigh I got into stance. It was party time.

Objective: Beat the Sith down, keep them off the air.

Zeltros was about the last place Camellia wanted to be. It was. . . . hard to stay fully focused in such a region, even with some counter measures in place. If it were not for the damage her cruiser had sustained during an escort run near the system she would have been long gone on her way back to Rendili already. Honestly she wished it were just as simple as blaming the helmsman for being unable to avoid the mines, but the young Captain knew it couldn't have been helped. Still, it was cold, raining, and the whole planet was full of pheromones that couldn't be completely ignored. The Rendili woman fully intended to spend quality time alone in her quarters once she returned to her ship.

That is until the Sith apparently had the bright idea to attack!

Seriously what sort of idiots attacked a planet like this? Hell she wondered if half their own people were wallowing in some bar hyped on hormones now. It made her shake her head from her seat deep within the communications hub. It made sense for her to be there, as her ship's damage also included the communications array, which had made organizing landing protocols rather difficult, but they needed to get the word ahead that they were being delayed while they initiated repairs. But that would seemingly have to wait in the face of the Sith attack.

Especially since there seemed to be attacks on spaceport, palace, and even the communications hub she was currently residing in. The first real obvious display came from some idiot trying to sneak in through the back of the complex. Which was. . . .downright idiotic, there was really no nice way to say it. It was clear to everyone what was going on, security cameras in the area had picked up his little display with the guards and alerted the staff and also Camellia and her troop to the matter. The door was instantly locked remotely in face of the dead guards, and Camellia didn't hesitate to take command. She had brought a small compliment of RHDF and Republic soldiers, in their respective gear and armor, with her mostly to keep everyone on task while on world and also because it might have bumped up her importance on getting access to communications if she didn't show up alone.

Now she was glad as she utilized communications to get in touch with security and Republic forces around the planet, and more importantly within the city. "Dispatch squads to the spaceport now. We have clear signs of Jedi operatives in the area, have two or three squads move to assist each of them. I want the others forming a perimeter to catch any more hostile forces attempting to get into the area, and to keep any of them from fleeing as well. We can coordinate any armored support or gunship strikes as necessary as well once we have a clearer view of the situation there. Get word from the palace too. Do we have their channels here? And get our own units deployed here!"

If the Sith at the backdoor had a lightsaber then the sealed entrance wouldn't slow him down long. However, Rendili, Zletros, and Republic troopers would begin maneuvering through the halls and setup down the corridor from the back door. They would open fire once he cut through, and if blaster shots were deflected then their Warden and RCA gear would at least allow them to take glancing injuries to pull back. They would react to the Sith's movements as necessary. Of course Camellia was watching the cameras and waiting for someone with a damn Plex Launcher to get in position.

There appeared to be another Sith outside as well, doing something to the guards at the same time the trouble at the backdoor was starting. It was. . . .disturbing to say the least and honestly the Rendili woman had little idea about the situation there. At the same time though she didn't want a second sith breaking in from another side of the structure as well. "Get a sniper on the roof and send a pair of squads out there to delay her. I want a blaster hole in her head before she can reach the doors."
