Now this one, he was something interesting. White, almost translucent skin with icy hair and a similar glint within the orbs of his eye. He was frail looking, though, as if Lan could merely wretch his form from the ground and break him over his knee. The Jedi Guardian almost found himself wishing the Sith had sent him opponent more...appealing to the eye. With a wolfish grin, Lan's green blade was twirled in his hand as he soon entered a defensive stance. He'd already made up his mind to ignore this pathetic fool's taunts and let him attack first. Y'know, test the waters a bit.

Lan's defensive assumption was happily entertained as four levitating bugs revolved around him. Yes they were bugs and Lan knew of them. It was customary to make many visits to the Jedi Temple's library and the Yuuzhan Vong Wars were something that piqued his interest on more than just a few occasions. These were blast bugs and, almost looking down at his form, it was a bad time to merely only be wearing a tunic and a cloak. Not to mention the fact that he had four of them.

One by one the things came at him, luckily at intervals. Little did this Sith know, one of Lan's few abilities with the Force itself was the art of telekinesis. In fact, he was pretty sure he'd mastered the skill by now. In conjunction with a sharp intake of air, Lan drove his left hand outwards - palm facing [member="Darth Helios"]. As the first bug was flung, invisible tendrils of the Force wound themselves around it and clenched. The little biot would find itself being agonizingly crushed.

KATHOOOM!
The first little bugger that had been squashed by the Force erupted into an explosion of searing hot flames and destruction, enveloping its trio of brothers in its wake. Although the quad of biots had been eliminated, the blast was directly between both Lan and Darth Helios and the range of said quaking flames wasn't enough to reach either of them.

Elegant and depraved.

Helios watched the Jedi lift his palm with mild interest. Half-open eyelids over golden orbs fluttered as the first bug abruptly exploded, eliminating it's kin soon afterwards. The Eldorai Sith Lord wasted little time - idle time being one of his annoyances. The flames burst outward, licking towards both combatants, although neither of them were harmed by the flames. The Jedi Master's use of telekinesis was unimpressive albeit efficient. Something Helios respected, although tactics of delaying one's death was refereed to by the Jedi as "Defense."

Helios quickly snapped two Spears of Midnight black into existence as he manipulated dark energy through the force to materialize two abysmal Darkshears, both emanating black smoke with unnaturally wicked spear heads. Much like the method used before, Helios sprang them both from his possession with telekinesis, sending them forth with great speed, similar to a slingshot concept. Should Lan find himself flatfooted after his defensive maneuver he would receive a pair of ventilation shafts in his torso.

Afterwards the Eldorai darted forward, leaping into the air as he tucked his legs and arms and dove through the fire, an action which gave his form bloody halation, like a demonic corona, aureate eyes staring forward. His right shoulder became ablaze as a result but it was soon extinguished as Helios rolled forward and sprang up in front of Lan, bringing with the motion, an impromptu attack. At the resolution of his roll Helios pointed the emitter of his double bladed lightsaber in-between Lan's legs and activated the weapon as it was swung upwards. Should the attack prove successful, Helios would cleave the Jedi Master in half from the crotch up. The second blade of the Eldorai's lightsaber remained inactive for the time being.

Just as Vyctora was about to leave with [member="Nickolas Imura"], and [member="Avreet Zatarus"] to hunt traitors, she received an urgent transmission from D4. Through his warning which consisted of beeps and squeaks, Vyctora managed to discern that the ship may have been spotted by a republic-aligned interceptor. She commanded D4 "Get the hyperspace drives active and jump to light speed immediately, evade destruction at all costs, I will contact you when pick-up is required."

Location: Galaxy class MKI, orbiting around Zeltron
Objectives: Evade detection, escape conflict

D4 acknowledged the message in his usual astromech way of beeps and buzzes and chirps, and primed the warp drives ready for hyperspace travel. With a burst of the surrounding air, the Galaxy Class MKI jumped out of the system, escaping the conflict for now.

Watching one of the giant beasts begin to tunnel, Deimos changed positions as the grub got too close to the barricade he was using. Turning his Ravager on those who swarmed his old position, the laser cannon shot impacted the chest of one of the beasts, the subsequent explosion erased two more that were too close.

The second shot fired went for the face of the remaining giant creature. Hitting it on the left cheek, a part of its helmet broke away, and the beast quickly covered the exposed skin beneath. The large trooper figured it's head was a weak point, like most beasts, but maybe a little more sensitive than most. He lobbed a grenade at some nearby grub after which he reloaded the Raveger. Utilizing his jet pack, Deimos soared into the air in front of the beast, leveled the laser cannon and fired at the massive head of the creature. One hitting the gigantic hand that covered it's previous wound and the other nailing it square in the nose. The nasal cavity exploded and more of the helmet was destroyed, revealing to Deimos that it wasn't the face so much as the eys that were the creatures weakness. It howled in agony as the light of the cannon shot and the sunlight that peaked through the shattering head piece.

Dodging a flailing arm, the massive, flying soldier tossed a grenade into the open jaws of the creature, the sudden realization it had ingested something foreign reached the beast too late, BOOM. Where there once was a face, now appeared a gaping hole that ripped the helmet, head and all, from the body of the creature. It slumped to the ground, squishing a handful of the ugly bugs below. Troopers cheered, until the ground beneath their feet began to shift violently. It sank momentarily then erupted violently upwards, tossing troopers every-which-way, sending their bodies, crashing, bouncing and slamming into the nearby buildings and ground. Some got up, but most did not.

From within the hole, the second beast lurched upwards, smashing troopers when it landed. Realizing that he was our of ammo for the Raveger, the massive man shouldered the weapon and drew his Beskad. The beast made for him, while he rocketed upwards to get a downward angle on the beast. Bring the Beskad over his head, he readied himself to slam the blade down on the head of the beast.

Both the beast and the soldier roared a challenged from the depths of their souls. As they neared, the giants claw reached up, while the blade of the soldier was being brought down...

Oh this would be getting interesting. The Jedi would not be helping us. I mean, what if we really were people of our word, and faith, and leave when these Dark Jedi were dispatched like the plague they were within our order? I looked to my fellow Sith Assassin, Then to my apprentice. I made the decision. here and now.

"Fine, let us go. But I won't leave without some kind of payment." I turned to my apprentice, knowing full well that she would back me up. We already had a connection to one another by way of fighting style, as well as the simplicity of how we dealt with in life. I knew that she was capable of handling herself. Even if it was a Jedi Knight. More so over, I knew I could take one, or even both of them if I really tried. Having been in many duels since my awakening, I had gained many skills. Getting better and better over the years. Only now was I stronger than others. I did not lack in saber combat. I did not lack in the force. I was a true Sith Knight.

My red saber ignited. One side only. Working as though it were a long handled lightsaber. Moreover, it could be taken apart with an eighth of a turn to have two single bladed lightsabers. I smiled as the red blade illuminated my clothing and matched my crimson eyes. "Or, we could just kill you and then go for the Dark Jedi, since we do know who they are already." My mouth broke into a smile. Wicked and demented, I readied myself for a fight should one come.

"Your choice ladies."

Nagate felt his master's presence move quickly in on the Sith below. Nagate decided this was a good moment to make his move. Extending some cable, grappling hook attached, and locked it onto the pipes along the building, jumping off the far side, he swung down and around to the back of the masked Sith woman. Knife held reverse, Nagate aimed the blade for the back of the woman, the surprise attack should give his master the advantage over the Sith.

The trajectory of his path would let him almost skim the ground as he swung through his attack, if he missed, he could redirect the attack for the other Sith that was standing in front of the woman.

"I am neither a liberator nor capable of negotiation, Master Watts." Flint blinked in surprise, glancing at the two Force-Users standing beside him. Which one of them was Watts? He had definitely heard the name before, perhaps not too long ago when he was studying modern Jedi history back at the former temple in Coruscant. Before Flint could recall more about the former Grandmaster Watts, the Sith attacked.

Another wave of fear hit Flint, and this time he felt numb with fright. Then the masked Sith said something about sleep, and before he could stop himself, Flint felt his legs give out beneath him. He felt tired, more tired than he had ever felt. It was sorta like being tired after a long inter-galactic trip, but about ten times worse. As he crumpled to the floor, Flint knew that he would be asleep within seconds. "Steel yourselves. Remember your training and do. Not. Waver! Show them your resolve and your will to protect!" he could hear his ally's voice, but even with its calming aura, the voice felt quite distant. As much as Flint tried, he found himself surrendering to the darkness around him.

Then suddenly, the Jedi Knight felt as though he was shaken awake by someone. The fatigue was definitely there, but somehow Flint found the energy to struggle and stand slowly back up. "I know this will be strange, but, they are bound and determined to see you fall. With my help you will not have to worry about anything besides stopping these Sith. We can communicate with our minds, see what the other sees, feel what the other feels and attack with precision. Just, ya know, don't get killed because there is a slight chance it could drive me to madness." Flint looked at the Jedi Master who had spoken, feeling rejuvinated himself. Shaking away the tiredness that still threatened him, Flint shifted into the same Soresu stance as the master, facing the Sith. He could feel it. They would win this fight. And they would sucessfully drive the Sith away from Zeltros.

"Come out and fight, cowards!" Flint shouted, to the Sith that were not being attacked.

Insisting on payment. At least the sith had greed marked down. They had been offered to go the easy way with no blood to be shed yet here the Sith Knight was with his lightsaber at the ready. It was a shame, in a sense Kana had hoped it wouldn’t come to it but maybe it wasn’t too late yet. As a precaution she withdrew her lightsaber as well without flicking it on.

“I am giving you the chance to get out of here and help your organization.” She shook her head. “To end this mindless slaughter, to repent for the lives taken in that very room behind you.”

It was a macabre line of thought and especially from a jedi. Though most people who knew Kana would know the reason of her inability to hold grudges. It was attributed to her childhood and quite possibly a fear of making enemies. To have it resurface at this point, after what he had just been done was disgusting even to Kana but it was a part of who she was. She couldn’t just change that, could she?

“Last chance. Leave this place or you'll have no choice but to engage me.”

In case you do attack I am open for that possibility. However since my friend here is not very active during weekends it'd be for the best if we either waited a bit or that you focused your attacks on me the for the first round.

Both groups seemed pretty reasonable, fortunately, which surprised the Mon Cal Sith Master. He had expected them to ignore his words and let their hate for each other get the better of them, resulting in a fight. Since this was not the case, Veles smiled, looking at the Jedi who spoke first, a young brown haired woman. Even though he greatly appreciated she decided to help, he definitely had no intention of turning himself in. “No, Jedi. As a Sith, to surrender to your forces is to face humiliation, torture and execution.” Veles explained. “It does not matter how the rogues are dealt with as long as they don’t return to the One Sith. So if you want to take these Dark Jedi alive, you will have your hands too full to try and take me prisoner,” the Mon Cal added, commenting on the Jedi’s question meant to determine whether the Sith way or the Jedi way would be used to eliminate the Dark Jedi.

The left eye briefly glanced at the other Sith, frowning. Veles was not sure if the man only joked or meant the part with being paid seriously. A true Sith should not be greedy. Nevertheless, the Mon Cal ignored it for now and soon turned his attention towards the blonde Jedi. Not as cooperative as the other Jedi, which meant Veles had to try a bit and persuade her. “You consider yourself a Jedi, no? You should not place the duty to the innocents behind the duty to the Republic. Are you really going to let innocents die just because saving them means helping the Sith?” Darth Veles questioned, “Besides… I consider this mission to be over. Once the Dark Jedi are removed, I will leave this planet. If you let me, of course.” The Sith Master gave them a friendly smile, which quickly disappeared as Veles looked back at the Sith Knight.

“If you consider yourself a Sith, remember we are not doing this for money. We do this for survival and betterment of our Order. As such, if the Jedi don’t stand in our way, we will not do anything to change that.” He said firmly, his large eyes burning holes into the man’skull.

When the blonde Jedi gave them the last warning to leave, the Sith Master turned on his heels. "Last chance to be a Jedi and do what you're supposed to do. Prove you are not just another slave of the Republic." Whether she decided to join the group headed to take out the rogues did not matter, Veles headed out either way.

“Let’s go.” There was enough talk already and Veles knew very well that each passing second wasted by standing around meant more dead civilians. With that, the amphibious Sith marched back to the streets that led deeper into the city, using the Force to hide his presence.

"Krum, you queen!" Now really wasn't the time to get on my nerves. Briefly I considered force pushing her into the nearest wall. Instead I threw a rock at her (much like when we had first met) with the force and flipped her off. If she was gonna interfere, the least she could do was actually, ya know, help. "Either help me or go piss someone else off." Personally I wanted her to stay. Not exactly sure why. Maybe it was because I wanted to show her I could hold my own in a fight without her. None of that mattered right now. I needed to focus. With a sigh I returned my attention to the old Jedi. As it turns out he wasn't finished yet. Surprising. He could sure take a hit, I'd give him that. And now he was trying to show me what else he could do. A deep pain took hold in both of my knees. Horror filled me as I was reminded of the chaos at Coruscant. Of the rubble crushing my leg, mangling it almost beyond recognition. Perhaps it was this fear that would be able to save me from the coming storm. Though I had no idea that it was literally about to turn into a storm.
Both my knees started to buckle into submission as the wind seemed to pick up. It took me several moments to realize what the man was attempting. Here I had thought that maybe he was only an Apprentice. Yet he showed the strength of a Knight, at least. For a few seconds I attempted to counter the shifting air. When that started to fail... I turned to Krum. "It's about to get real windy, real fast. Just a warning." What? It's not like I was gonna ask her for help. She probably wouldn't assist me anyway. We were both Sith. But between the two of us, I'm a sith, and she's a Sith. See the difference? So do I. May not seem like much... but when it comes down to it, it is. This was one of those times to just rely on myself. However dreary the prospect seems. At least I had her emotions to try and draw from. Taking a deep breath I turned off my lightsaber and clipped it to my belt. I know, that seems like an odd thing to do. But it'll make sense in a moment.
Part of me urged my knees to expand. This was going to turn into a battle of wills. Focusing my energy I let the air around me speed up, my attention was on my legs. When I started to feel gravity loosen I snapped into action. My arms (along with the rest of my body) started to sweep around me, moving with the current, the force flowing through me. Together the force and I would combat this maelstrom. We had to. With every moment that passed I was forced to move faster and faster. In time though, in time I was able to use the air's own movement against it. A circle is a constant curve. Pushing it at the right spot will bend it. And so I did my best to bend the air's cycle, spinning it round and round and round... then right at the old man. The result would hopefully be a strong current akin to a force push.
I was so caught up in my moment of success that I almost missed the dumpster heading straight for me. It was shock that ruined my focus, allowing the air to once more lift me. Another force push, this one aimed at one of the walls, was used to try and get myself out of the trash container's path. Understandably I was barely successful. The large projectile slammed into my side, throwing me back. With a painful thud I hit the wall, then slid to the ground. Everything hurt. There were going to be a lot of bruises in the morning.
If I lived that long, that is.

Ceran moved swiftly. The hole in the side of the palace served for a perfect entry point. The decadence and clear signs of a royal attitude filled the palace to the brim. Every facet of the place seemed to be lined with gold or gilded in silver. Statues, tapestries and everything else that signified affluence seemed to be within this building. His money making sense seemed ot flare up, any one of these items was probably worth more than his ship.

Too bad he wasn't a thief.

From his coat he pulled a thermal detonator, priming it as he turned a corner. A group of guards marched down the hall, immediately raising their rifles when they saw Ceran. He could almost feel the chemicals in the air. The twisting Pheromones, the nausea inducing aromas that the Zeltros gave off in order to lull their enemies into a false sense of security, he was lucky he had a rebreather.

The thermal detonator flew with only two seconds left on the clock, exploding midair and consuming the group of guards in the blink of an eye. Four still stood, but Cerna raised his particle rifle and squeezed the trigger in quick successive shots, each beam exploding as it struck one of the guards.

It only took seconds, but a dozen men lay dead.

To see them fall, to see the former Grandmaster on his knee's brought a mix of emotion. Thrilled at her power, pride at finding the cracks but there was shame. There was pain. These people had been her friends had they not? Rosa made a quiet, strangled noise halfway between a sob and a laugh. Master Watts found his light, saved the boy from the terrible slumber. How gallant.

How very frustrating.

She had little time to think on the matter as Jericho bellowed something at her. She didn't hear it. She heard nothing. The little part that was trying to recall why these people were so angry with her was silenced as the beast took full hold. She held her ground, un-moving as Jericho charged towards her, tutaminis flowed through her and she watched the ripple of his muscles, the coil that came the split second before he jumped from the feint. That gave her time, time enough for five small spears of midnight black to form around her left hand.

Rosa simply stepped backwards as Jericho descended, his saber flashing within millimeters of her body, singeing her clothes. That would put him, however briefly, with his head unprotected. Rosa's right fist came down hard, her left hand flung behind her feeling another powerful presence approaching. All five spears launched towards Zaren, hopefully forcing him into a defensive. Then she jumped, somersaulting backwards, light and agile as every Ataru master should be she came to land a few feet from the pair, reintroducing distance.

She drew in a deep breath and screamed at them. This was not a bellow, but a force scream, with it it carried all that she felt. All the fear from the civilians, all her fury and all her pain. It was emotion that would carry for miles, that would touch more than just those before her. Sabers slipped into her hands, their hilts unnatural to her. She thumbed the activation switches nonetheless.

"Rosa Gunn is dead. I killed her. Same as I will kill you."

Somewhere in the City of Passion stood a roof, it was an unremarkable roof in the grand scheme of things, a roof hidden away, lost amongst the many brethren and sistren roofs that surrounded it. It had experienced many things in its not so quiet lifetime, nights of fiery passion, mornings of drunken stupors, once even a turbolaser blast to the face- that one had been painful.

Yet it had never experienced the weight of this peculiar human being sitting on a currented manifestation that closely resembled a leather-fitted chair. This human being was no clown with sharpened blunt clubs twirling around his body, neither a woman corrupted by the darkside pirouetting across the field of battle- using her acrobatic might to conquer her enemies.

He would have been called an Enigma, if only that name wasn’t so firmly interlocked with the greasy, cheesy and grassy element that was the schutta of plants. Instead the Sith Lord, not Sith Lord had to be content with a different name, Darth Carach.

This illustrious Sith Lord sat cosily in his manifested chatedra with his eyes closed, his view immersed into the river and watching the events unfold while sipping from some Whyren’s whiskey. If it wasn’t Whyren, it wasn’t whiskey.

A ripple of pure agony cascaded from Roza and Carach’s smile turned a few shades more smugly, the glass in his hand shook at the pure intensity of the pet’s emotions.

Even the virtuous would eventually fall.

It is known.

"No Power without Pain"
The inbound rock was easy for Cypra to catch with only one hand. She still smirked even when Nordii had flipped her off just because she was bugging her during a fight. She didn't care. In fact a part of her wanted to stand around and just watch the whole time. But she also knew she needed to fight and help with the operation as best she could, which meant having to help even someone like Nordii. With a sigh she drew her training sabre, which was during to a more deadly setting.

She stopped, however, when Nordii warned her about the wind. Quickly she braced herself by getting low to the ground before feeling as the air currents grew more violent. She lowered her head and held on tight to a nearby wall in order to not be blow away. She tried looking now and then to see how either Nordii or the old Jedi were doing but always ducked her head back down due to the violent winds.

When everything settled Cypra looked, seeing where everyone was, before drawing her blade again and not taking any chances. She charged forward towards the old man and jumped before bringing it down on him. Knowing he'd block she returned with a few parries and thrusts to keep him occupied long enough for Nordii to step in.

She was still searching for the clown, as her fury took off to help. She looked up and saw him, she did not smile as foul business was a foot. She realish killing another force user, but sith code demanded it. As sith got the blame for the civilian deaths, then that would provoke fear and hate. These emotions would strengthen their enemies, and make them fight harder. That would give them more power, and eventually lead to their victory over the sith. Something that she wanted to avoid, making her enemy hate her and her kind. She truly believed in the sith code, and it had to be applied to everything in life and death.

She began slowly making her way to the clowns position, it would be awhile before the fury would come into play. Though she would not risk, more civilians dying by that man hand.

If there was one thing Corvus had in abundance, it was patience. She was content to allow the conversation to develop and to simply listen - to weigh up who was speaking and who was silent. Who was threatening and perhaps who to trust.

Knight Truden's response was typically Jedi - in the sense that it was imperative in this sort of situation to make good decisions quickly - not the best decisions slowly. Would Corvus have arrived at a better decision in the time-frame? Absolutely not. She would no doubt have been stalling whilst trying to think the conundrum through to a conclusion.

The Sith with the red eyes chose to escalate the situation. All the while Corvus was as impassive as her mask. Her saber was still clipped to her belt. The Force had not yet indicated she was in immediate danger and there were so many options before drawing her saber was required. She closed her eyes briefly and effectively adopted Center of Being, just without her saber in her hand.

And she waited. She had Kana's back should the Knight start something - and every second that delayed, more options would no doubt present themself.

It was there that while the red blade was active that the Sith master spoke. Saying that we should go and deal with the Dark Jedi on our own. It was here that I turned off my saber. Shaking my head. Clearly they did not trust us. They were right to do so. But if they really wanted to save their city and their planet, then they would help. I was half tempted just to leave the Dark Jedi here and let the Jedi deal with them. Causing destruction for them before we would move on with plans of our domination over the Jedi and the Republic.

"Be that as it may, Sometimes the best course of action is to trust those you would never give a weapon to." I put my saber on my belt. Still looking at the two as the Master assassin started to walk away. I turned to the Jedi one last time. "Once again ladies, the choice to save your city, is up to you."

following after the man's footsteps, "Apprentice, follow." I did not want to say her name. Keeping her identity hidden from the Jedi until now.
