The Sith and his Apprentice

Vengeance chuckled.

"What a Hutt was doing no................who the Hutt was doing it with could be of use though." "Secrets are dirty work Admiral and this is a Galaxy bathed in filth."

Vengeance moved around to stand behind [member="Anya Loma"] his hands resting on her shoulders.

"Ask yourself this Admiral." "Have you ever known a Sith especially an Acolyte be this quiet..........this restrained?" "Why do you think that is?"

Vengeance paused.

"Could it be fear..................could it be devotion?" "Or is it survival instinct?"

Vengeance took a breath and looked at the Admiral.

"Your Master didn't seem to interested in what knowledge I have last we met." "I find it hard to believe that much as changed in such a short amount of time." "I also know a certain Lord traveling with your Master who only wants to kill indiscriminately." "Sure he claims it to be for a more noble purpose but his actions say otherwise." "Now in an Acolyte that is to be expected." "They are young and unpredictable." "Back then I would kill by the hundreds, thousands if given the chance with no provocation needed."

Vengeance paused.

"Some grow out of it, some learn to temper it, and others are consumed by the hunger until it destroys them."

[member="Darson Rade"]

His eyes flickered with a hint of interest, his apprentice had been very quiet, why she was quiet, was a mystery to him.

"Does anyone ever seem interested when you first meet a person for the first time? With no background or even preconcived concepts of who the person may be? I don't think so."

He rested his hands back on the table after he had moved them.

"But after he returned he pondered what he had seen of you and figured that you would be a valuable ally if you felt like you wanted to join us. Even though he could tell this he was not certain if you would join us."

He nodded as he talked about Darth Mephiriums other, "Associates"

"The man you speak of is not bound to my Lord by a master-apprentice relationship it is out of loyalty to his cause and the sacred sith teachings that the both of them share from times long ago that binds him to my Lord. But hear me my lord wants to preserve this galaxy but he needs helps and if that means feeding a mans hunger, he just makes sure it doesn't effect too many people, and his people."

Still silent ever watching as she felt his hands on her shoulder, she looked up at him gently then back to the man other man, she had been lamenting back and forth with a idle interest, she had no involvement with this and was only following her master

Though it did bring soemthing interesting up...was she following because she was scared? Was it devotion to him and his orders that she followed?

Vengeance smiled.

"Your loyalty to your Master is admirable." "You seem like a smart man Admiral but if I may part some unwanted advice." "There are always two sides to every encounter." "Some times even three but that is a bit of a complicated discussion."

Vengeance turned to [member="Anya Loma"] and extended a hand to her for a brief moment before pulling it back.

"Apprentice."

Vengeance then turned back to Admiral Rade.

"Thank you for your hospitality Admiral." "My Apprentice and I will be returning to our ship." "If Darth Mephirium needs me or wishes to speak he knows how to contact me."

Vengeance took a step back giving the a short nod before turning towards the door to be escorted back to the ship.

He stood up and looked at the man.

"Well, it was my pleasure having you here, I will make sure to pass this convosation onto my Lord."

He opened his mouth to say something else before he walked around his table and followed in step behind the two of them.

"I hope you don't mind if I join you back to your ship to make sure my men treat you well, they get a little antsy around newcomers and we wouldn't want a incident now would we?"

He raised his eyebrow slightly as if to question their thoughts on him joining them down to their ship.

"You know before you leave are you sure you don't want to see anything around the ship? It is quite lovely, it was owned by Grand Admiral Thrawn from Emperor Palpetine's Empire. He was the Grand Admiral and was a very smart leader and skilled fighter."

[member="Vengeance"]

Vengeance paused taking a bit of a side step to let the Admiral lead the way.

"After you Admiral." "Though I assumed at this point you would just send one of your men to escort me." "No matter."

He smiled but shook his head.

"I am sure it is a nice vessel Admiral." "I fear though only my pilot would be able to truly appreciate such a ship."

Vengeance would walk the rest of the way in silence unless the Admiral had more he wanted to ask or add.

[member="Darson Rade"]

He walked along with them giving slight nods to the soldiers on the ship as they saluted him. He hid his limp still but the limp still showed a little in his step as they walked. As they got to the hanger he stood by the ship as they walked on.

"Well I guess that might be true. But feel free to come back and look if you want, they hanger is always open for you or your apprentice."

He looked at the both of them giving them a bow as he watched them.

"I hope you reconsider my masters offer, you would be greatly rewarded, but we understand your decision if you don't."

He looked at their ship as they stood their in the hanger sighing soft. It wasn't a bad ship but it wasn't amazing either, but for what they used it for it fit the purpose and he nodded softly.

"It was a pleasure to meet the both of you, I hope you have a good day, and if I don't see you again, a good life."

[member="Anya Loma"] | [member="Vengeance"]

Vengeance chuckled.

"The Force is a fascinating thing Admiral." "We have a saying Sith and Jedi alike about the will of the Force." "If it is the will of the Force then I am sure we will meet again." "If not then the Galaxy is a big place.............very easy to disappear in."

He returned the bow and border the ramp to his ship hitting the intercom at the top of the ramp to speak to the pilot.

"Time to go.........................Check point Delta if you please."

He turned to Anya.

"The armory."
