[Ultimatum]

An old droid research facility. That was news to Ultimatum. He had known when he had taken control of the planet that there were many old facilities that would house value. There was supposed to be an old Separatist base that had been destroyed soon after the Clone Wars. He actually new the site, but the building had been bombarded from space by enough firepower to perhaps level the planet. He had found nothing there.

He had to decide on what was needed in return. Certainly he could give all he wanted. However, this was supposed to be a mutual relationship. What did he need? Well he could build most parts of droids, he could easily program them. He did not need food supplies. This was an advanced AI, probably intelligent beyond even himself. What could he need that this computer could give? The obvious answer was computing power. The ability to work through advanced problems. That was more than he could hope for.

"May I request the help of the leader of this world on a few projects I have in mind? Not resources per-se but the computing power, if that is alright."

Matsu was looking at the droid and looked to Harmony who indicated it was a good one while the hologram flickered away for several seconds and then came back. "That can be done, though connections offworld to networks beyond a tertiary link is covered in agreements with outside groups." The hologram remained there looking. "Expanding and working on the planet is acceptable as the jedi have done. They worked to get some drids for exploring and working in the mines where there were deposits of unstable illerium for harvesting and mining. Matsu looked over at Harmony with some of the things happening though for them. "The world remains isolated for protection, some believe the AI and droids would try to take over."

Ultimatum smiled as he spoke, "Thank you. Is there anything else you believe we should discuss?" This was his first time dealing with another properly intelligent droid brain. He was glad that this was a very willing such negotiations. He was surprised that this first artificial intelligence would be such a good one to get along with, at least in the sense of business.

He found it amusing, the droid saying that this place was isolated due to fear of taking over. That was an almost cliche thought, thanks to all those holodramas about droid taking over. It did not help that it had almost happened many times in the past. Most of the time though it was a program virus that was spread by organics in order to create instability in a government. It was only a few times that the attacks had actually been of droid choosing.

Matsu looked at him and at Quiet as she was working on some of the things over. They had a nice little set up here and Matsu motioned for Harmony to hook herself in as the hologram was speaking. "I believe contractual agreements could be reached, Sasori operates outside the system and makes business dealings with different groups. If you can supply them with things from the facility we can construct droids and use exotic supplies. The molecular converters created can help make exotic bodies for the droids using different materials. The aurodium and crystalks on the planet may go towards making a stealth droid."

Ultimatum smiled politely as he responded, "I am glad that we have come to an agreement. I can most certainly supply anything that will be required. Thank you very much for your time, I can have a contract created in a minute or two, a physical copy will take longer. Is there anything that would need specific statement within the contract, or should it be more general?"

Ultimatum would have expected the computer based AI to not really require a physical copy of the contract, after all it would probably be safer to just have the information in computer data form saved to a hard drive somewhere. However, he wanted to make certain that the option was there should for whatever reason.

"That shall work." She rubbed her hands together as the hologram disappeared and the room showed in some of the screens different sets of droids and designs. Matsu was looking at the larger droid though and some of the designs as they had more things going from her forearm tacpad. "We'll be able to make some fun things possibly. Never know what might be there and in here. We generally work out of Shri-Tal in the systems wit the jungle for testing and developing better models." She had some more ideas but working here to build a droid division that could use all of the salvage and processing they had from mined metals was essential. Add in possibly a facility that was used to make some of the more interesting droids and house them they might be able to get it. "We'll also want to get and secure the coordinates on Mustafar if possible. We have some ideas and can setup a link between there and here."

"Of course. I have the coordinates whenever you need them, even right now if you would like." Oh the ease of being a droid. He had most of the information he would ever need within easy reach. Most. There was the problem that some information he needed he did not have. That was where the ingenuity of artificial intelligence had to suffice, however even that had its limits. He looked forward to the work that would be done, it would help advance his understanding perhaps of the droids that had been built long ago. The evolution of the constructing of droids would give him a glimpse into the logic of droid manufacturing among organics. It would allow him to perhaps predict future developments in that field and to use them to his advantage.

She looked at him with a grin. "And I have the contracts on hand for such a thing." She said it with a grin on her face while she was working on some of the things and tapped Harmony on the shoulder as she was working with the HRD and nodded her head. "With the coordinates we can send a team to set up and get it running again, some of our droids we have built are special and trained to work on some of the different worlds as well as deep space. We have been developing ones for mining and salvage trying to get our converters stronger and smaller for more personal hip use."

Ultimatum was glad that this organic appeared to be prepared. So many of the ones he had met simply had never been prepared and acted on the moment. While it did not always end out badly, it did not make up for the fact that it did have the potential of causing a lot of trouble. Of course he was one to talk, as a droid created by an organic he had occasionally suffered from the same unpreparedness on occasion. And every single time he berated himself on the lack of foresight.

Heh, what a funny word. Foresight. He had named a shipyard that was built over Mustafar after what that word meant. It was an important step, one needed Foresight in order to accomplish the goals that one had for the galaxy. There was so much to be done here, there was so much that needed repairing. The organics had done an excellent job at pretty much destroying the ecosystems that had once been on many planets. He had a job, and all that he did played a role in that.

Ultimatum pulled a datapad from where hid belt would have been. Instead there was a magnetic clip built into his body to allow him to hold things such as the datapad. Clicking a few buttons, he transferred the information required before holding it out for [member="Matsu Ike"]. "That should have everything you will need."

"Ah good and we shall have everything you need as well. Quiet usually interacts with our ofices on Shri-Tal or the Harlequin.. We have been working on new things she can do in system with some of the worlds. We are getting the cryptiums insight for some of the more advanced scanners to find metals and ore in the worlds. So we'll send some of our new model mining droids to help you if you wish. THeir size is ideal for working in the volcanos and we are working on using our conversion technology to increase their effeciency and capacity without needing to increase their size."

He was interested in the concept of what he assumed was shielding technology. He was uncertain exactly what this conversion unit would be for. He knew that he would need other droids for now to do the mining and what not in the areas that would be required in environment that there would be work in. The last time he had worked to build something underground, he had used a team of native Mustafarians to build the factory. It had taken some time get the group together, he had chosen only the best workers to dig and build most of factory without his direct supervision.

"I would appreciate the droids, I have yet to perfect a combination of metal alloys along with heat shielding to withstand the heat of the volcanoes and the interior planet."

Matsu looked at him and smiled. "Well we kind of did... my friend Natasi created thermal shielding to withstand the surface of a sun. So working with that we could maybe make a lesser heat shield for the planets surface. The real trick will be getting the right materials to build it and make something very nice." She had a grin n her face while pouring over soem of the reports now that they had for the mining shipments and the crystals. With the right amount she could see them and taking harmony with her they could go and get some of the other things they wanted to done.

Ultimatum was glad that she had at least an idea of what would be required, he was still working on the calculations. "Hmm. That is definitely easier than where I am at. How long did it take to figure out the material and what not for the type of shielding?"

This was a most interesting organic, she seemed very enthusiastic and her friend seemed more artificial than organic. He did not know of many organics who had droids as their aids, in so high a realm as this. He wondered if this feminine droid was another high intelligence, or simply a droid mind stuck in an advanced droid body. He had always seen it as unfortunate that most droids could be classified by the outward appearance. He had always liked the fact that droids could come in any physical shape, but their mind could always be made to be super-intelligent. It was just that organics liked to take short cuts, at least most did. Things like garbage droids were not considered important enough to be given deeper knowledge or personalities like a protocol droid.

She was looking at him and as they arrived her ship was loaded with the crystal while the droids were looking over it. "Not that long, we built it though for one ship which makes the difference. We weren't trying to arm an entire group with it." Which helped cost wise as well she knew for some of the things but most important with all the work the droids arrived showing a pathway for the large droid. "Ah looks like they cleared one of the older warehouses out for you to be able to use for yourself." That was always a good thing and there were some more sleds with crystal in them followed by metals and ores. "Looks like they got a good amount and I know just what to use it all for."

Ultimatum listened to the explanation and then hearing about the preparations that had been made for him. He was glad that the master of this planet was so quick to get things done. Certainly there was an advantage to the lack of bureaucracy, there was a power here from one intelligence running everything. He had understood the organic need to keep track of those in power, they were corrupted by it so easily. That however did not mean that artificials required the same balancing system, they were much more predictable and because of that they were not as easily lost to power.

Hahaha she was looking at him with a grin on her face while she was moving. "Well I know the stealth devices for ships can come in handy and a couple sleds worth of aurodium can fund planets and fleets. We have been working on some special things but are no where near making entire fleets for our use." She could think of some uses for the cloak while she also loved working with the metals for precious stones. Crystals and gems they might be able to find were the third most important thing. "Crystals and gems they find here can go a long way in making sabers and hopefully on your end everything will go fine. Mustafar's facilities could prove good for crystanium deposits."

Ultimatum had learned at one point about the intense value of aurodium crystal. It was a most interesting structure of crystal that had been used as currency in some regions. Nowadays it appeared to have a high value in the credit system. Somehow a feat that all empires and governments in the past had failed to do had been accomplished, the credit's universal usage.

"I do remember finding some older crystanium mines on Mustafar, however their run down nature led me to avoid putting any people there. I believe that there are still crystals in the mines, quite a few of the tectonic readings say anything, but I have spent more time in other areas. If you would like I can give you their locations when you next come to Mustafar."

Ultimatum had also been working on stealth ships, specifically a large vessel for his command that would be entirely stealth capable for the more clandestine missions in the future.

That was sounding perfect for the jedi master. "That will work, we'll want to work on things there and survey what we can. Once the mines are reopen who knows what we might find on the planet. My droids have been finding use to get at aurodium deposits and with some of the mandos we have been working with we might have some beskar mines. Regal gold beskar for something beautiful in one of the jedi temples." She was rather enjoying some of the ideas she had for things and never knew what else you might be able to find in some of the rocks and caves. She usually sent in the probe droids to find what they needed. "We will work on some of the things and get more information when we arrive there."

Ultimatum felt something akin to relief at the words of some crystals being used in the Jedi Temple. He had been working alongside Sith for so long that he was glad to finally meet someone who had affiliations with the Jedi. He had been trying to increase his company's planet bases so that he could get into Jedi controlled space. He did not enjoy being surrounded by Sith, which from history's teachings were very volatile allies and not really the best to keep around. He was trying to get into a safer position, the conflict in the star systems did very little to help the expansion, but he continued to work around it.

"I am glad to hear that. Is there anything else that you believe needs to be discussed?"

Matsu was thinking about it as she came with some of the larger mining droids moving down the street. "Maybe there is but I believe we have managed to get everything we need." They had plenty of things to work on some of the things though that had her and Harmony excited. "We'll be able to meet up in the future and work on some of the other things. There is a lot of places with special metals and ores we could find a use for with droids and some of the things." She was planning on some of the greater things for the crystals that Corvus had asked her to work on and with.
