Hello Everyone

So...this is Kian Karr, but I decided I also wanted to make a Naval Officer. I know absolutely nothing about fleeting!

So, is there someone who would be able to take me under their wing? Crassis (inspired by my favorite Roman general) is a cold and calculating, Machiavellian officer with no sense of humor and who will do what it takes to achieve victory.

We've currently have a Naval Training Thread going on, though now might not be the best time to join it, though it might be something to follow if you're interested.

However, [member="Velarian Valykrie"] has also just joined and is looking to learn fleeting as well. Perhaps the three (or two) of us can start another thread.

I've been fleeting for about ten years now, though I am new to Star Wars Chaos. I can show you what I know, if you're interested. Most of it will likely be IC tactics and strategies, though some of my OOC experience may be applicable here too.

But first things first, I'd suggest you'd get in contact with [member="Caid Centurion"] about your character's rank and station in the navy.

Is there anything you're looking to do particularly as a naval officer? Take command of a battleship, lead a group of corvettes, deal with orbital bombardments and assaults, etc? Do you have a favorite ship type?

Thanks! I'm really looking to get involved with anything. As I said, I have no previous experience with fleeting but I'm a bit of a history buff and always loved military strategy...hence my interest!

I'm right now working on an OOC guide-like paper to share with people what I know, and I'll post it up here and probably add onto it.

In the mean time, it would that the two of us are in the same assault group (1st Beta Line, as detailed here), so we'll be working together IC it sounds like. If you'd like, perhaps we can do a little training thread that helps establish 1st Beta Line as a unit as well as go over some fleeting basics. What do you think?
