I looked forward to this. Remember personal one on one fights and one person trying to cut through everything will accomplish nothing. Try not to blow up all your opponents forces in one post. Think of the ground combat like pvp, you control your forces like you would control yourself in a lightsaber duel. We'll be giving feedback on how the battle is going.

Exactly, this is the chance for people to show skills other than 'Death charge the nearest enemy'.

For the purposes of this thread, would a Harvester Mining Walker be able to squeeze in as a 200 point unit (complete with standard mining vehicles and Mando-Miners + light security) or... would this qualify as a superweapon in this case?

He thought I was too close and I probably was. I am having trouble reading the hex numbers because they are so tiny.

I'm not sure who the is the closest is to Terminus but I'm willing to go as far back as that if there are more concerns with my locations.

Just FYI:

Team 1 (One Sith, Lord of the Fringe, ACA, Primeval) enters through the top row (row 1).
Team 2 (Republic, Protectorate, Mandalorians, Rebel Alliance, SJO, Levantine Sanctum, Vitae Alliance and Red Ravens) enter through the bottom row (row 34).

I noticed people form both sides didn't start in the proper rows....if I misread this, let me know and I'll adjust my post accordingly.

We thought that the start of movement was at the back line and that four-five hexes of initial movement wouldn't be egregious if that is what you are referring to. Basically we had our columns move from a gathering point off the map onto the map in formation. We will try to be more clear in the future.

What I need is someone to update the map. I'm finding it hard to do this and the space one. [member="Darth Kentarch"] is making good posts and moves with the NPCs, so I just need someone to map it out.

I can do it, but it won't be tonight or quickly.

Anyone not mentioned above who wants the job can have it if they wish.

[member="Orick T'ane"] (Team 2) started his troop placement between 5.30 - 9.30 and he is team two. In essence, his troops would essentially be sandwiched between the NPC army and Tmoxin Temi army/ and myself.

[member="Karrie"] (Team 2) started at 14.30 - 17.31 and as same as the one mentioned above, would be caught in a crossfire.

[member="TJ-1467 Jay"] (Team 1) is stationed/started right next to [member="Xieza Blade"] (Team 2) 21.30

Like I mentioned, I might have misunderstood how the starting pointes worked....if so, I stand corrected.

I've never GM'ed before which was why I wanted to try, so I'll gladly volunteer as long as no one has a problem letting me know when I've made a mistake or am not doing something I should. If you can PM me a summary of what I should be keeping up on, that'd be great. Like a lil' cheet sheet!

The first number is left and right. The second number is up and down.

So TJ-1467 Jay is far north of my troops, and my troops are far south.

21.30 (The first number [21] indicates where the point is horizontally. The second number [30] indicates where the point is vertically.)

So 21.1 and 21.34 is completely across the field from each other.
