The Treasure within the Roon: Open to All

When Ardgal and Relina joined the commons area outside of the mine, Ra watched as the two of them introduced themselves, but wasn't close enough to hear the conversation. The wounded were rounded up and those that had been stunned started waking up. Stardust had approached a different man than Cynthia had originally. That first man had not been the husband of her friend in the end.

Not knowing who any of the others were that had played such a pivotal role in at least attempting to find Gray, Ra approached them. It would be seen she wasn't a slaver or one of the employees of the mine. The shooting being over, her gun was back in its holster at her side and the only other visible weapon was the saber hilt on her other hip.

"Thank you all for helping. I think Stardust will be able to locate her husband from here. Do you need any assistance from me?"

Pointing to the corner of the area she had set aside for the medical location, she turned back.

"There's a small area there if you have medical supplies that I had arranged for such a use."

Cipher would look to Ra and canted her helmet-concealed head slightly. "There are an awful lot of these people whom we liberated from the mines and bondage. We can only take so many to freedom. If you and yours can transport the rest off of this rock and into civilised space or wherever they come from, it would mean alot to them. They don't deserve whatever fate would befall them otherwise." She replied, Hapan accented Basic resounding through the speakers in her helmet.

She would give a nod to her Commandos and gestured toward the gang transports they were hijacking. "Get the ships warmed. We are nearing our rendezvous time. The Chief is not a patient woman."

"Yes Ma'am!" One of the Commandos replied and moved to follow his orders.

Relina and her Angel Squadron were still flying a patrol course around the Mine site, making sure the airspace remained sanitised for the away team's egress.

Midway Mine

They had approached him. It wasn't just Star but also Cynthia here on this planet looking for him. He didn't want to meet with either of them right now. He couldn't handle it at all right now. After everything it was just... too much. Star mentioned something about his hand needing fixed so she must have been looking at it. Would it be enough to give him away though? It wasn't anything special, thankfully, so maybe not. She just wanted him to be Gray. She needed him to be. He wasn't though, not the one she knew. He could do this. He could be someone else. He was someone else.

" Are you speaking to me?" Gray said in a voice that didn't sound like his own. Partly he was changing it on purpose but it also just didn't sound like normal considering how little use had of it the past few weeks. " You have me confused with someone else...."

Star had said something about their kid.... No, no it was just a lie to try to trap him. Gray knew this and then suddenly he felt a tug at his scarf after Cynthia called out his name. He backed away from her to that her fingers came off his scarf without it being removed. His steps were shaky and a little unstable. He was still weak. He said with a frown, " Don't touch my scarf. I might be blind but I still deserve some dignity...." His voice sounded the same as before and had some genuine anger in it. He still had some dignity and he wasn't about to let it be stripped from him. Not by his former captures. Not by them. Not by himself....

Her hope sank, this didn't sound like gray...his hand looked like grays but...maybe it was just a mistake...She stepped back silent as she ble chef her fist and fell to her knees as she trembled. He wasn't here...his signature had shrank away. The person she thought was gray was a simple one man

I just wanted him back

She said trying to hold herself back from simply breaking down, she bend over on her knees her force signature seeming to grow as anger sadness a soup of emotions boiled over within her and was pushed out

after tall I've been through, all I've seen all o have done, the people I've killed the friends I've lost lover gone I just wanted to be happy with a husband!

She was yelling to no one rambling as tears streamed down her face as she looked to the heaven and screamed

why am I cursed like this! Why am I cursed to always fall in love marry then have them either die or simply disappear!

She said and hit the ground with her right hand breaking the skin as she balled, she hid her face as she couldn't bare to see the world before her

there's nothing left...I've no busband

She looked to her westar, she removed it from her holster hands shaking as she pulled it up taking the safety off as she closed her eyes shaking looking to Cynthia

you've been so good to me, please take care of my son

Her grip was tight...then suddenly she heard a whisper, her eyes opened dropping the blaster. Again there it was...not words no...but it felt like ripples almost...she looked up to the man more specifically his hips as she stood and moved closer slowly as she reached a hand out...she coudlnt mistake that saber...it was one she helped her husband create...

whisper...i never thought I'd see that lightsaber again

He eyes darted back up to the man as she stepped closer

Only one person wields him and he only whispers with him...if your not gray then you sure now how to take a great force signature...gray...thats your saber...im not stupid....

The man moved away from her and scolded Cynthia for reaching out for his scalf. It caused her hand to snap back quickly and made tears roll so much faster down her face. The inside of her helmet had become so wet that it was begging to become cold. She'd quickly take it off dropping it to the floor as she wiped her eyes.

Star began to brake down next to her and Cynthia was in no better state. Much like star they both where closer than just family. Without them both a part of Cynthia would be missing. A gap that wouldn't ever be filled to drive her into deep depression. "Me too star." She spoke with a shaking voice. The girl didn't know what to do anymore.

She could tell that stars anger had set in as she punched the ground with a hard thud. "You have me star, your son. I won't give up on gray even if I lose myself." Her words where ment to seem comforting but right now they we're broken in mind and spirit. Only one thing could make it right maybe he wasn't the same man anymore but that didn't matter to Cynthia. To be with him once more was all she needed.

The moment star spoke again all colour dropped from her face as she watched star lift the gun up to her head. She'd reach her hand out and wanted to say something but words no longer would come out. Her mind plagued with fear. 'Is this what it's came to? I'm going to loose her too. I can't loose you. stop, stop, PLEASE STOP!' She screamed in her head unable to say anything. The moment the blaster dropped and stood Cynthia wrapped her arms around her waist. "Don't ever do that again. I can't lose y.."

The girl stopped what she was about to say as stars arm reached out and spoke to the man again. Although Cynthia's face was pressed against stars shoulder. As she continued to listen something clicked. "If your blind then how did you know I reached for the scalf? Please stop pretending, Is it really you gray?" As she spoke Cynthia woof

Ardgal pressed his two fingers to the side of his helmet, activating a private comm to the headquarters he was abandoning, "Command, this is Ardgal. Bring the transports to my location with room to spare. We have a few passengers."

The man looked back to the female soldier before him, "I'll see what I can do to give them a fresh start. Transports are inbound. Thank you for your help."

"Ardgal," Virgil's words were more tense than usual, "Star. Behind you. Things are going dangerous."

The man turned around just in time to watch her flick the safety off her side arm. He bolted towards her, making a Bee-line to her. It wasn't emotion that moved the cyborg forward. It wasn't love, something he was still struggling to understand what it was or if he could ever feel it again. It was loyalty. Star was vod and whether she wanted to be it or not, that was family. They didn't give up on each other--even when they were ready to give up on themselves.

As her pistol dropped the man made his way to her side. He could see the man they were talking to. Ardgal didn't have many memories before Project: Madman left. He didn't even recognize himself. There were holograms Virgil showed him of his parents the man didn't even remember. There were faces he remembered but without names. There were names, but no faces. And then there were names and faces that just had facts attached, like a history book. People he had been told he worked with he didn't remember but memorized it anyway.

He didn't recognize the man, but every person smelled differently. Hormones of every being were a little bit different, distinguishable by only those with super sensitive noses; natural or vong-shaped. It was unmistakable. He smelled like Gray. Everyone here hadn't showered in weeks or months. Some, not in years. Through it all there was a distinct smell of Gray right in front of him. It was too strong to be just the clothes. Or just someone behind him. It was Gray.

And the man was denying it. Ardgal looked in the man's eyes. A stranger. Maybe he was a stranger to him as well. But he would know who he was. The cyborg's heuristic processor chip gave possible explanations. It could be a tactical withdraw. It could be for self-preservation. It could be for fear. It could be for a desire to start a new. Or he could be threatened or bribed. For all the mechanical and tactical knowledge, Ardgal's cyborg parts didn't understand human nature. It couldn't, and it probably never would. The general probably never would either.

He didn't have to. Here was Gray standing before him, denying he was who he said he was. Eyes still locked on his kinsman, his helmet gave a nod.

"Star," Ardgal said placing a gauntleted hand on her green shoulder. His eyes remained locked on Gray, "Its time. We have to go."

He didn't have to know why or understand. He just had to take care of his own. His hand gently guided her away from the apparition before them.

"You always have a place at the kajir, vod," Ardgal said lowly, just loud enough for Gray to hear as the sound of ship engines began to draw closer.

The both of them just wouldn't stop pressuring him. It seemed at first they believed him and he even heard some sounds. The sounds were not pleasant but he didn't know what had almost just happened before whisper suddenly began to throw a fit. Why was it humming now of all times? The thing gave him away however as it confirmed for Star just who he was. His back was in a corner now. He needed to lie to them. He needed to fool them somehow. Then things got lively again as more ships began to arrive. The sounds of their engines was the only thing giving it away. What was he to do now?

Gray was about to say something but then a voice that was somewhat familiar spoke. It seemed they were trying to get Star to leave and he hoped it worked. He didn't know it but it was Ardgal not fully cyborg and vong changed. He could tell he was vongified now however by the emptiness of the force. As the man spoke to him though in a low voice it just got a frown out of Gray. He didn't know this man, as far as he knew, and so was not sure why he said what he did. Gray had been missing since the change so there was no way he would recognize his scent.

Standing around trying to decide what to do for a moment during all of it, Gray finally just said, " You have me confused with someone else...." His voice was in that altered way he had used before. He reached around behind him until he felt the wall then began to head towards the sounds of the transport ship that the Hapan woman had sent. His steps were shaky and slow as he tried to leave. This was too much for him right now. After everything he had been through and everything he had been told.... He just needed to find some quiet place and sort out his feelings.... He could still be stopped however if they wanted to stop him.

She frowned again, she felt ardgals hand in her shoulder telling her it's time...no...bi this was gray before her this man was gray he was playing dumb, she watched him walking off and moved forward to him again

She placed a gentle hand on his shoulder and turned him before speaking

fine...if your not my husband then let me have his saber, I wish to keep it so I can give it to his son when he's old enough to have a real one...i know it's been hell...and this saber has helped you I bet but...if you can find it allow me just to have it please

Her vouce was as calm as her touch, she hoped to maybe get him to trip up, she hated doing this but she needed to do it as she spoke again

but...if you are the one who created whisper...gray that is...just tell me what's wrong...we can get you medical attention...ans if your not him you'll get medical attention and then leave just as quick

Still calm a new approach to what she had just done, she held a hand out giving him a choice...give her the saber or reveal himself...a two front attack

"My ship isn't much good for taking on many people, but I'll take on whoever I can."

Ra said this in reply to the request from Relina.

"I could probably arrange for bigger ships to come and take them away though."

She had a couple of options she could suggest as destination, but wanted to get those in worse condition cared for now. Turning her attention back to that, Ra noticed Stardust, Cynthia and Ardgal had almost surrounded one man. He wore a scarf across his eyes and one of his hands was cybernetic. There was also a saber clipped to his side. Raising an eyebrow at this, Ra walked over to them.

"Is this your husband, Star?"

Cynthia felt so confused, so conflicted. The woman didn't know what to think anymore. She looked at [member="Ardgal Raxis"] with such hate in her eyes. "Shut up you karking bastard!" She said maliciously as she pushed him backwards away from star. "Don't touch her!" Her anger had only seemed to build and it was all been pointed at the man she had no trust for. She'd look back at star with a serious face then looked back. "Just stay out of this. You have no rights getting involved!" If the man wasn't vod she'd have driven her fist into the mans face. She still wanted to do just that but Cynthia was holding back as much as she could. She quickly turned around looking at ra over her shoulder. "It has to be gray. I'm sure of it." She said watching star handle gray so he didn't feel so crowded.

In full armor, Ardgal weighed over 300 pounds. As the small girl pushed at Ardgal, his feet remained where they were. He looked down towards her, his one red eye studying her in detail. It could detect her elevated heart rate, body heat, and elevated hormone levels. He could smell the intense emotion coming off her. The cyborg knew emotions were high, and after the intense combat--well it didn't help anything. He had seen it many times. After the moment of intensity was over, the adrenaline spike was still there. People needed an outlet. Sometimes friends turned on each, words turned into fistfights. Or worse.

"Your looking for someone to blame," Ardgal stated flatly. "I get that. But I'm not the one to take it out on."

The man shouldered his rifle and pulled his helmet off, clipping it to his belt. Behind him the ships lowered to the ground, kicking up the dirt as they settled on their props.

"Sure its Gray. Anyone can see that. I can smell that," Ardgal ran his hand over his face. During the conditioning all compassion, gentleness, and care had literally been beaten out of him. But [member="Rashae"] had slowly, somehow found that in him and stirred it back up. Bit by bit. How she found it or stirred it up, he didn't know. There wasn't much in him still at this point, but Ardgal knew he had to try. He ran his gauntleted hand across his face.

"Sometimes people get so used to bad things, pain, hurt, and suffering that its hard for them to go back," he said at last, squeezing every bit of gentleness he had left in him, "And sometimes they come to like it. It changes a man to be away from everything they love. I wish it wasn't that way, but it is. And if that is Gray's case, then all we can do is tell him he is welcome and we care, and take care of Stardust."

Everything was getting out of control. Everyone was talking at once. Everyone was getting emotional. Everything was flooding into Gray. Positive emotions, hope and excitement. Negative emotions, panic and anger. All of it was hitting him at once along with all of the sounds of the outside. Darkness was all that was left of his sight now and after the weeks living by the quiet underground lake, he couldn't handle the noise. He had to stop and put his hands over his ears to muffle and silence the galaxy. If he didn't he might lose himself or perhaps find himself. He didn't know anymore who the real Gray was.

As all of this was going on, Gray began to focus inward. He needed to calm himself in this madness. He needed to escape the chaos or else it would consume him. All of the fear, the doubt, the rage that he had worked so hard to bury inside of himself before had ways of escaping now. The one who tormented him and wanted him to join them saw to that. He couldn't let it out right now. There was other people around him that had no part in his troubles. He might not want to face his old life before he had broken yet, but it was trying to drag him back into the hell that he had just escaped.

Then a voice spoke to him. It was Star. She was demanding his saber be returned if he wouldn't reveal himself. She was demanding Whisper be taken. No. No. No. Gray couldn't, wouldn't, hand over his saber. The little gem always worked to calm him and provide a life line for his sanity over the past few weeks. Star wanted to take his sanity. She wanted him to.... She wanted something from him. He couldn't give her what she wanted. What if everything was true? What if everything hadn't been a lie? No, no, no. He needed to say something.

" No. No. No!" Gray just said in response to Star. He began to fidget around as his breathing became a little erratic. " This is a trap. This isn't real.... Back. I need to go back...."

It was all a trick. Gray knew that now. This wasn't real. This wasn't Star or Cynthia or any part of reality. They were messing with his head to make him believe he had escaped. They wanted him to think he killed them so they could break him. He needed to go back. He needed to go back to where he was the calmest and they were forced to do all of this to get him to leave. So he just began to stumble his way back the way he came. His hands out so he could feel his way.

She needed a calm approach now...she moved quickly getting to his front as she gently placed her hands on his shoulder and spoke calmly, she had seen this before meant many times...aokdiers broken o the field trying to do what they did before they snapped...lost to reality

hey hey listen to me, you can't go back there...focus on my voice, focus on my signature im right here just stop...let the force show you the truth...as I trained you long before...force sight ... alright

She moved back watching him not even a foot away a as she got on comms

ra I need some, help I've ever full medical pouch whatever you have I need a muscle relaxer...grays...something has snapped gray be quick

Just seeing gray like this brought bad memories...she knew of many that didn't recover from this stuff...they jist...couldn't get out of the loop they had that is what they needed to live

She moved back to gray not touching now as she spoke calnly..putting what she knew to use

your currently in the hapanscluster on the planet roon...your in a slave camp that has been liberated by me and a friend and allies...your safe

Cynthia's fists began to clentch tight the more Adgal spoke. His words only bought more anger to her like adding oil to a flame. "YOU DONT GET IT DO YOU!?" She said loudly that her anger carried. "IF THAT WAS ME OR STAR — if that was either of us he'd never give up on us or even anyone who needed him. Gray would be there." Her teeth clentched as she bagan to realise why he wanted them to stop or at least how she saw it. "You're nothing but a fake alor. Worried of losing what little respect you have in the clan. Worried they will see the monster you really are. It sickens me to call you vod." The girl turned away from the man with her finger firmly on the grip of her shotgun. If he reached for her, touched her or even tried to stop her she was ready to kill him mentally. "And nothing you can say will make me give up on him. I'll never stop fighting for gray and star. A sacrifice you'd never understand. The clan will know of your inability to do the right thing ardgal. You're no leader and definitely no leader of clan Raxis, you bare shame upon it's name. Next time I see your face I will rip that fake title from you." Her voice calmed down at the end of what she said, and what she said was no threat but a promise.

She turned around and looked to see gray and star had moved away a little. Ra was just a little behind her but Cynthia heard her question. As the girl passed the woman she'd look at her. "Yeah that's him. I trust stars instincts." She'd keep walking. "Star? Let me talk to him for a moment." Cynthia's hand would touch stars shoulder as she lent in towards gray. "I may not understand what your going through. I don't know if I did anything wrong or you feel guilty for what happened between us. Just know I'm sorry and I forgive you okay." She whispered loud enough for gray and maybe star to hear her.

She'd lean back up straight. "Gray if you have any feelings for star and I then please wait with us. Let everything calm down so we can talk and have someone take a look at you." Her voice kept low and she tried to keep it as calm as possible.

Her face would scrunch up under the helmet as a headache began to come along. It felt like she could feel what others around her felt but she didn't herself understand what it actually was. It was so conflicting, so confusing, so lonely yet filled with life. "Ahhh, what is this." She said as her other hand left the grip of her gun to cover the visor where her face would be. Her senses felt overloaded and it was unbearable. Although the feeling only lasted for a moment and it wasn't something she could question right now.

Her focus was on the only man that was ever there for her. The girl wanted to help gray and in some ways herself even if it was for her own selfish reasons. A small sigh left her lips as her eyes seemed so focused on him. She didn't feel sympathy but regret. Like in some crule vindictive way that if she was there when he was captured or what ever that maybe she could have taken his place to spare him from the pain that he'd endured for so long. Cynthia would have broken a thousand times over if she even knew what he'd suffered but her only thought would have been that it was worth it.

Ra didn't care one bit about the confrontation going on between Cynthia and Ardgal. Looking between them and shaking her head, she turned her attention to Gray. Listening to what both Cynthia said in answer and the words of Stardust, Ra nodded. She saw he had started to move away from them to return to the mine. His mind scrambled or something, thinking this was another falsehood.

She didn't know what he had been through and probably didn't want to. However, if her sister said this was her husband, then she had to help them both. They were near the medical tent and the supplies needed were ready, set up and being used by the people that had medical training. Walking briskly over to the, she made her request. They didn't question her and handed over what she needed.

Returning to Stardust, she would attempt administer the medicine to Gray. He wouldn't be able to see her or the medicine coming, so in theory wouldn't be able to avoid having it given to him. However, she had thought ahead and brought a second dose if the first one missed.

By now, Cynthia had joined them and they had Gray surrounded, if he continued to move to the mine again, he would run into one of them and his progression would be stopped.

Through the process, Ra kept silent and did not say anything. She was too new to the clan and was only known by Star. One of the few people she considered a friend. Now they were more than friends, but family. Star was like a sister to the sith. Ra would do anything for her and here she stood waiting to see what would happen with her sister's husband.

Midway Mine

It was all an illusion. None of this was real. It was all in Gray's head as a trick to break him by his captures. He knew it was. This was just like them. They would mess with his head. Yes. That had to be it. This was just what they would do. He knew it. They knew he knew it too. They knew it which was why they had to do this in the first place. If they didn't mess with him this much he wouldn't break. But he wasn't going to break. They couldn't break him. He wouldn't let himself lose his sense of reality. Kark them. Kark them and their false reality....

Then Gray felt hands on his shoulders stopping him as he made his trundling way back into the mine. Who was it? Cold metal it felt like. They were trying to restrain him now in reality as well as in their illusion. He began to thrash around and break free from Star. They were using her voice to try and sway him. He began to thrash even harder. They were trying to calm him down now because he was breaking free from them and their illusion! He was too weak physically to escape her grip on him.

" I know who you really are! You can't trick me!" Gray called out as he continued to try to escape her grip unsuccessfully. " This isn't real! I know it isn't! I'm not really blind! You aren't really dead! This is a trick just a trick!"

Gray was completely unaware or perhaps just didn't seem to care when Cynthia spoke to him. He knew this was all a trick! Ra's needle easily made its way into him and the sedative released into his blood stream. They were trying to drug him now because the tricks were failing! A faint red glow came about Gray as the force was drawn into him. He wouldn't let them have what they wanted! A burst of force energy exploded out from him in all directions as a feeling of dark energy radiated from him. They wanted him to be dark so he would show them dark! A rage fueled by the force was washing over Gray providing him with more strength than his own body could physically muster right now. He would show them how foolish they were for trying to trick and turn him! The sedatives effect was slow to set in due to the rage but it still took effect quickly.

Gray's knees buckled under him as his body lost all of the tension it had been storing. He would collapse to the ground if Star had lost her grip. Consciousness faded from him as exhaustion finally was able to overcome him. The force rage was gone as quickly as it had come. All traced of dark side energy were no longer present in him as well. His signature and body were both at peace for now. He could no longer stop anyone from doing as they pleased with him. He had no more control over himself or the situation anymore than a shadow over the sun that cast it.

Stardust held onto him tight, the peaceful ways were working slowly but they needed to get out of here and off planet now. So she pulled him closer bear hugging gently enough to not hurt him but enough he wouldn't escape...his words he was screaming, whatever had messed with him had really done some damage mentally. She stayed silent as ra injected him with the sedative

She felt the force draw in, she looked down to gray to see a..red aura? She was confused then felt the force blast as it hit her causing her to move back some and double over in pain, definitly it just broke a run. She stood as she let a breath out moving forward a d rescue dout to catch him holding him gebtly as she coughed and slowly rose holding him in both arms carefully as she looked down...so peaceful now...She sighed and spoke....maybe her words cpuld pierce his sleep to be heard

we are gonna go home now gray, we are going to get you some medical help...even if you can't hear me...just hold on...

Even if no one was standing already she turned For a landing pad and spoke again

ra get your transport down here asap...we needed to get back home and get gray to the medics there...ill have to call ahead and get a room made...i have a feeling this'll be a long month...

Cynthia's body flew back like a ragdoll been tossed about. Her right leg would collide with the corner of a building in the spot no armor covered. As she came crashing down to the floor the pain sunk in. She'd scream out in pain as she lent up looking down. Her leg had twisted and probably broken. Cynthia could help but feel this was her fault. She pushed to hard and this was what she deserved. After a moment no medic's came to her. Others who were waiting for a transport just looked and began to crowd around her. The girl would unmute her communicator to the channel with Star and Ra. "Help." She said crying out the word.

Ra was satisfied when the injection went in on the first try and while Stardust dealt with him, she turned away to finish trying to organize the chaos that was around them still. She hadn't moved away when she felt growing within Gray his anger, his mind was scrambled and he couldn't tell reality from fiction anymore. Not knowing what he could or couldn't do within the Force, Ra prepared to hunker down. Drawing in the Force, she opened a hole in the ground and jumped in.

Whatever he did, really had no effect on her. It was just a wave for Force energy with no attack involved, just a release of it. Watching as Cynthia flew across the commons area, Ra wondered how that had happened. Whatever Gray had sent out had no physical affect on anything other than her and Ra noticed Star was also knocked around a bit.

Seeing Gray starting to fall to the ground, Ra reached out with the Force again to stop him from hitting the ground too hard. Lucky Star came out of her daze and Ra let go of him to allow his wife to hold him.

Climbing out of the pit she had made, she went in search of Cynthia. She still had the second dose of tranquilizer she could use if she needed to on the other woman. Her comms unit came to life with a call of help from her and Ra saw where the crowd was gathering. Heading in that direction, she requested quite forcefully to be let through.

The people parted in front of her and she saw the medics already working on the broken leg of Cynthia. There wasn't anything more she could do for her and Star had requested she get her speeder quickly. Resting a hand on Cynthia for a moment, she looked down at her.

"I will be back and you'll have your leg at least in a splint by the time I return."

With that she headed off out of the compound to pick up her speeder. Luckily it was a large one and there would be room enough for all of them. Including the sleeping form of Gray and wounded Cynthia.

Using the Force now openly, Ra didn't have to worry about trying to maneuver through the crowd that had gathered. Instead she spotted her parked speeder, lifted it with the Force and brought it over to her location. People noticed her glowing eyes and avoided being near her.

True to her word, she stopped to pick up Cynthia and once she was comfortably on board, Ra headed in the direction of Stardust and Gray.

Midway Mine

Darkness had once again returned to Gray. It was not just his inability to see anymore but also the void of thoughts in his mind. He was exhausted physically and mentally to the very edge of what he could handle. The sedative that had been injected into him by someone he did not know had done its job and completely relaxed him. He was now able to freely recover in every way for the first time in months. He had no dreams as he slept so soundly you might think he was no more than a tattered, worn corpse awaiting its burial if not for the slight movement of his chest indicating life.

When Gray had gone to fall, Ra's use of the force had kept him up just long enough for Star to grab him. His unconscious form was now in her arms. He would not wake for days. Sleep had not come to him except out of the more dire of bodily needs for the past few months. It was needed now more than anything else. His body was fine outside of malnutrition and exhaustion so a bacta tank would do little for him. This fact though would not be obvious from looking at him by anyone but an experienced medical professional. He was completely at the mercy of the twi'lek woman and any dared to take him from her now. Wherever she wanted him to be was where he would be....
