Alexis Braend
Rough Rider
Location: Temple Overhang
Enemies: [member="Asher"]
Sounds of fighting filled the air as combatants from both Sith and Jedi grappled over control of the temple. Screams and curses from victors and those vanquished rose at times from the clamor. Unnoticed upon a temple protrusion sat Alexis, her dusty nose scrunched in disgust. She couldn't understand battles like this. They were too obvious. She much preferred her killing to be done in the shadows. Nonetheless, the Sith had paid her to fight on their side, and unless the Jedi offered her a better deal she would honor their arrangement. At least she'd managed to find a place with adequate coverage and a wide range for her to shoot down enemies. If she'd been forced to join the thick of the undulating mass of bodies this wouldn't have been as fun.
A flash of movement caught her eye and Alexis looked down to find that the fight had taken an interesting turn. One of the Jedi had placed himself between two Sith males and their female opponent; chivalry had apparently been resurrected. It was too bad he would soon have an arrow protruding from his back. Gentlemen were so hard to come by these days, and they were the most fun to manipulate. Readying her bow, Alexis drew back the string and took aim. She felt her body relax in time with the familiar motion, making it easier for her to hit her target. With one last deep breath she let the arrow loose. Its small form whistled through the air, seeking a home for the sharp, gleaming tip within the flesh of its target. She smiled. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.
