Lily and Venus fled into the hallways. Long red cloaks billowed behind them as the identical twin Royal Guards wore their Ceremonial Guard Armour. Even in combat they chose to wear this, it was lighter than the power armour other Royal Guards wore. After all, the two bounty hunters had lived the life of stealth and assassination. Big guns and heavy armour wasn't their thing, not by a long shot. Lily heaved the awkward Anti-Materiel rifle in her arms, cradling the weapon whilst Venus struggled to run with a heavy rocket launcher on her shoulder. They were some ten rooms down when Lily turned, curling a single hand around the door knob. It was locked. She squeezed her hand and the metal crunched under her cybernetic might. She was strong enough to crunch metal and shatter rocks, but she didn't look like it.
The door gave away as she pushed forward with her elbow and used her hand to rip the door knob out of its hold. A squadron of One Sith forces squatted in the room, trading exchange fire from their window, much like most other windows. Lily raced forward, glancing out. She was taken back when she saw a tank held a great dent in its front but was otherwise unharmed. "Oi!" Lily shouted to Venus, "Your missile didn't work." Venus stepped forward, brushing aside the curtain to peer out. She wasn't like her sister, but could faintly make out the dent. She wasn't cybernetically enhanced, and it was a tremendous downfall when it came to fighting force-users. The One Sith troopers moved aside for the two Royal Guards, knowing not to get in their way. Venus lowered her AT-RL1 and began loading in another rocket. "Find another target, I'll finish what you started," Lily said to her identical twin. There came only a nod of acknowledgement.
Lily set down her AMR-1 Anti-Materiel rifle, resting it on the windowsill. Venus turned to the troopers, "Guard the hallways, best you get out of this room before one of those tanks try and take us out." Venus didn't mean 'us' to the troopers, but for herself and her sister, Lily. When the tank line began realising anti-armor personnel were attempting to stop their advance, they'd be directing cannon fire right in their direction. To say the least; it was going to get very deadly, very quickly. Lily lined up her shot, she pulled free the armour-piercing rounds and slotted in a separate magazine, explosive. Sure, it wasn't as strong as a landmine, or even a rocket for that matter. But if her bullet could slam against that dent, hopefully it would bust it. She didn't have much ammunition for the AMR-1, only four pouches lined her weapons belt, with each pouch correlating with a different type of ammunition. One magazine per pouch.
"Target acquired," Venus confirmed. It was the tank beside Di Mancini. "Firing," the twins said in unison. They both slapped the triggers of their weapons. Lily intended to hit the dent in the enemy tank, but she herself was unsure the extent of damage the explosive round could do, even if the rifle was anti-materiel. Armor-piercing rounds were the type to use on tank hulls, and explosive were often used on their treads. But she had to make an estimated guess, hoping that the explosive round was enough to tear open the dent and leave the occupants exposed. The two thunder booms could be heard. Smoke trailed from the barrel of Lilys rifle and Venus' launcher. They stood simultaneously, twisted their bodies and sprinted for the doors, dragging their weapons behind them.
