Those Things In Your Head

[member="Spark Finn"]

He smiled.

It was really all that he could do.

"I." His voice half broke. "Love you too."

He leaned down and pressed his lips against hers.

[member="Munin"]

She smiled, just slightly as his lips pressed against hers. She pulled in closer, warm water lapping around them.

Cheeks burned red but this time she couldn't tell if it was from the heat or the #usual.

Glasses went a bit lopsided on her nose as she kissed him back.

Again.

And again.

His fingers tightened on her sides, he took in a deep breath before she planted her lips on his once again. He couldn't help but smile as she pushed herself up against him, her arms wrapping around him, her eyes closing and her glasses knocking against his face.

Munin couldn't help but laugh a little as she felt the black rims of her glasses squish against him, a slight laughter erupting from him as he held her close but slowly drew his head back.

"I'm glad you're here." He told her quietly. "I'm glad that If i had to come here, you came with."

Whatever they would find in that keep, whatever was waiting for them...perhaps it was worth it. He had her. As long as that was true, as long as she didn't run away or leave him...he thought he would be okay. Even if he turned out to be a monster made in a lab. "No matter what happens."

She smiled up at him. Heat radiated off her pale skin. Glasses were moist and dripping. Freckled-nose crinkled.

"I've got you back, Mun." Face grew serious. Arms slowly unwound from behind his neck, so her palms rested of his shoulders. She wanted him to know how serious she was. No matter what happened. No matter what they found. She'd try not to run. She'd try not to get scared of who he was or could be.

Head spun a little.

"I need to get out. Getting a little lightheaded."

"Okay." He told her.

Perhaps the heat was getting to her, or perhaps it was the moment, but either way he wasn't about to argue. The cavern itself was warm enough that one could easily sit around, though Munin wasn't quite ready to get out of the water yet.

He couldn't swim, at least not really, but he liked being submerged beneath the water. He found it calming, relaxing. Even if the water wasn't warm there was something about simply sitting beneath the calm surface that allowed him to be a bit more at east.

"I'm going to stay in." He said with a smile. "But I'll sit with you."

It was comical. It wasn't like Spark was going anywhere, she would be right besides him.

[member="Munin"]

"Okay," she smiled, feeling a little loopy from all that heat. Might be the closest Munin would get to a drunk Spark. She was keenly aware of every place their skin touched and the water swirling beneath her shirt.

Hands drifted down to his forearms and she slowly slipped free from her fingers. Toes found the bottom. Hand squeezed his gently as she turned from him and bobbled back to the ledge.

Scrambling up, she turned, so her legs stayed in the warm waters up to her knees. Her pale skin was tinged a bright red, like a medium-rare nuna. Steam pulled from her own skin into the warm, moist air.

Sitting, she quietly watched Munin, letting her speckled gaze flicker to the cave entrance now and then and trying not to linger too long on his exposed chest.

He smiled slightly, following after her. "I suppose when we take that real vacation."

Munin began to speak, thinking, hoping that after tonight they could simply leave this place and never return. Whatever it was they found here, he didn't want it to affect anything. His work, their relationship, nothing. He didn't want to find out that he was some monster, nor did he want to find out that he was some marvelous superhero. Both option were equally terrifying to him, both made him slightly sick to his stomach.

Munin wanted nothing but his freedom.

"I'll let you pick where we go." He reached Spark, coming into place before in front of her.

He leaned down and pressed a kiss on her thigh, just above her knee before resting his chin just a bit lower.

A comfortable position while he stayed in the water.

She laughed, the steam, water, and Munin warming her plenty. Toes curled beneath the water. "You'll let me, huh?"

The leg he was resting on bobbed slightly as she lightly bounced it. "Anywhere warm like this minus snow." She grinned and checked the entrance one more time. They were still alone.

#phewww

Leaning slightly forward at the waist, one hand quietly scooped up water behind Munin's head, then mischievously began sprinkling it on his hair. Other hand remained as a brace against the pool's lip so she didn't fall back in.

"What's wrong with Bal'demnic?"

[member="Spark Finn"]

His head shook slightly as the water splashed over him, his face scrunching ever so slightly. "I dunno."

Munin hadn't been to every planet ever all.

"I've never been there." The Information Broker looked up at his girlfriend, smiling. "I'll go if you want to."

He kissed her thigh again. "Wouldn't matter to me if you said you wanted to take a trip to Tatooine."

Munin smirked slightly. They had already visited one desert planet together, and he knew that Spark wouldn't be too eager to visit another, but...well the thought was at the very least there. He couldn't help but grin just a little bit, thinking back on the good parts of Jakku.

[member="Munin"]

She snorted, toe moving underwater to poke and pinch into his side, lightly. "Tatooine will NOT be a vacation option. Business yes." She still had to deal with Rasho the Hutt. "Pleasure, no."

Arms came up and stretched toward the roof of the cave, the edge of her ribs poking out slightly as the wet shirt shifted slightly on her skin. Shoulders rolled. Felt good not to be staring at a datapad for once.

#forjustalittle

"I think we should go, after this." She smiled, arms finally settling back down. Her leg continued to bounce lightly beneath his chin as she went to scoop more water to lightly sprinkle over his head.

"We can get fake IDs. I'll try not to use the force. I can dodge any security feeds. We shouldn't have a problem."

Of course, she was referring to the numerous bounties on her head. Of course, the alternative was that secret apartment Munin built for them. But she wanted to explore. She missed traveling.

[member="Spark Finn"]

"We can do that." He didn't at all mind the idea of traveling, especially considering that most places were a little bit more interesting than the inside of a data terminal. He frowned for a moment, twitching to his side and rising up in the water as Spark tickled him.

His hands slid up her legs and around her, half pulling her towards him.

"Fake ID's are easy." That was a large portion of what he did. "I can give us new names in a day."

Probably less. "Whatever you want."

He pushed himself up on a small ledge within the waters, rising just enough to be at eye level with her.

[member="Munin"]

She squealed lightly as she was pulled from her perch. Legs split and wrapped around Munin's torso so she wouldn't completely tumble back into the hot water. Hands found their way to his shoulders as she clung on for deal life.

Though, she kept him at arm's length. Back pushing back slightly so she could maintain eye contact. "Okay," she said, a bit throaty. She was just glad her skin was already pink so Munin wouldn't see any fresh blushing. "I don't think we'll need less than a day."

Fingers lightly drummed over the top of his wet shoulder. "What would your name be? Do you already have an alias called Henry Longbottom?"

She snorted at her own joke.

[member="Spark Finn"]

Munin set her back down on the ledge, though kept himself out of the water and mostly even with her.

"I have plenty." He informed her, though a small smile twitched on his lips at her joke. His names were never quite that...obvious, mostly because people would look twice at something like that. Most of the time he tried to be as unassuming as possible, posing as a simple merchant or something along those lines.

"I usually like to go with names that start with a 'B'." Munin said with a shrug. "People don't tend to notice 'Bill the Janitor' or 'Bob the tech guy."

That was part of being...unseen. "Nobody cares about the ordinary."

That was a sad truth.

"Easier to go with something that won't draw any attention." Rather than Henry Longbottom.

[member="Munin"]

Gangly-legs unwound from around his torso as her bony bottom re-found the ledge. Hands relinquished their tight grip on his shoulders. "So you'll be Bill the Janitor."

She giggled.

#lolol

"Oh. Oh. Can I be Sally the speeder repair woman?" Bony-knees brushed almost haphazardly against his sides as he stood close.

[member="Spark Finn"]

"That depends." Munin scooted closer, his lips just a little bit away from hers.

There was a silly smile on his face.

"Is Sally in love with Bill?" He smirked at her.

It was a silly question, but...well it was a silly situation. That was what they needed in that moment though, a bit of fun. The night would bring on the direct opposite, and so it was best that they enjoyed themselves while they still could.

That was how Munin saw it.

[member="Munin"]

A slow, knowing smile curled it's way on her thin lips. She thought about taking off that beanie because it was getting super steamy in here. #hessoclose!!

"I think so," she teased quietly. Blue eyes beneath glass lenses darted from his eyes and to his lips, almost going cross eyed because they were so close. "But a kiss might help her decide for sure," she mumbled like a teenager with a crush to the boy sitting across from her in advanced Holometrics class.

Munin, would suddenly find a pair of lips planting against his own and the familiar feeling of plastic lenses pressing against his nose and face.

[member="Spark Finn"]

Munin returned the kiss, slowly at first, but only because of the surprise.

He was pretty sure that this was the first time she had kissed him, and not the reverse. Half of him wanted to count the seconds it went on, the other was far too distracted to be doing any such nonsense. His fingers gripped tighter on her for just a moment, and then she slowly backed away.

"Well..." He breathed quietly. "What does she think?"

He smiled.

[member="Munin"]

"Well," she smiled, nibbling on her lower lip. Fingers came up to push glasses that had fallen a bit down back up the bride of her nose. Munin wouldn't be able to feel the puffs of hot air against his face as she spoke because it was already so steamy in that cave.

"She thinks she does."

Thin body shifted slightly beneath his fingers. A rock on the cave floor was poking against the bottom of her leg.

#ouch #ruderock

For a moment, she thought she heard voices drift into their little space in the wind. Shoulders fell a bit. "I think we're about to have company."

[member="Spark Finn"]

That meant it was probably time to go.

"Okay." He wanted to make sure that Spark stayed comfortable, and the best way to ensure that was to not push her. With other people coming he knew that she wouldn't want to stay, and Munin was more than okay with leaving because of that. They still had half of the day left, but if they went back to the Cabin now he could fix the fireplace and they could curl up and be warm for the night.

Before that though.

He glanced back around. "You better kiss me one more time."

A small smirk.

"Just to be sure." He couldn't help it.

[member="Munin"]

Blue eyes widened slightly at his suggestion. Wet fingertips drifted up to his shoulders as she leaned in closer. A shy smile stayed on her lips as she quickly leaned in and offered the information broker one more. It was hurried, light, and simple. Those voices were getting louder.

Easing back, she wiggled free from his grasp and stood, tiptoeing back to their packs. She quickly wrapped a towel around herself and retreated behind an outcrop of rock near the side. "Don't peak," she warned being absolutely serious.

#srs

Blonde-haired head poked out from the cover as she began to shimmy out of the wet undies and shirt before she could put on the dry layers. People weren't there yet. They'd probably just parked and were meandering their way up.
