[TLM] "The Unknown" [Silver Jedi]

Opening his eyes, Lok found himself tilting his vision downwards to stare into his open hands. The very sensation of everything happening around him had ceased and all he felt was the serenity of complete and eternal peace. His breathing had slowed almost completely and the blood pumping through his veins felt different. The man couldn't really describe how he felt at the moment. Everything just seemed...natural. Lok sucked in a helping of the stale temple air, imprinting the smell before exhaling. He was solitary, not lonely. There was a difference.

He must've sat there for half an hour, because after a while, it started to hurt a little. Giving up on the sensation, he flexed his fingers for a minute before slowly unfolding his legs and working feeling back into them before standing up. The Valkyri cracked his neck, stretched a little more, and turned around to grab his utility belt with his lightsaber and penlight. It couldn't be found anywhere. The young man frowned, leaning his head over the fallen column to peer into crevices and crannies in the ground. He literally couldn't find it anywhere. The mere fact that he was left defenseless, solitary, and a good distance away from his allies, made him a little uneasy. Not to mention those red eyes from earlier...

Red eyes. Gleaming red eyes.

A flash caught his eyes. It was those damned eyes once again, off in the distance. Lok squinted, making out a shadowy form that held those crimson orbs in place. It was far too dark without his penlight or saber, but the mirth in those floating spheres told him that the bearer wasn't exactly the friendliest of beings. Another spark of light snagged his attention, a silvery sparkle held beneath the clouded form. It was his belt, with the saber hanging loosely from it. Lok's eyes widened. How had something gotten so close to him without detection? "Hey!" The Valkyri shouted at the thing. "I can see you!" His words only served to further please the creature, its eyes sparkling even brighter as it moved up the main stairs.

"Oh no you don't." The man muttered under his breath, taking off after it.

For a moment she thought the way was forgotten, somewhere through the corridors Chani lost contact with Hawk, she bumbled aimlessly through tunnels, staring at statues and hurrying faster onwards when she heard a noise, out of nowhere a dark figure sprinted past her, almost knocking her down, she cursed at the person assuming it was a Jedi and then felt supremely creeped out when [member="Lok Jorunn"] turned around a nearby bend, he also was in full stride, Chani pointed in the direction the figure retreated through and sheepishly followed Lok, recalling the shadowy figure's ruby eyes.

She called out to Lok as she jogged after him, "The Darkside plays tricks here!" unaware if he actually heard her.

Asaak looked around, noting several distinctive groups had broken off quickly, one of whom was [member="CHANI"] and [member="Hawk Solo"], a pair she assumed was already well within the ruins. She let her eyes flick over to [member="Rasu Gan"] once more just to check in before she went off with her group as they moved, a quick habit born out of practice and affection.

They seemed to be wasting no time, the smell of the ruins thick in her nose as they stepped closer to the threshold. She felt the stirrings of all the creatures [member="Coci Sinopi"] accidentally disturbed before she heard them, her montrals buzzing with the movement of so many little beings. “Incoming everyone, cover your important bits!” she yelled to her heavily assorted group of aliens (sorry [member="Judah Lesan"]) as the swarm of winged animals escaped their home. As soon as the mini windstorm died down she turned to [member="Maya Whitelight"], giving her a once-over to make sure nothing had scraped her friend on its way by before falling in to step behind [member="Hasjo Hallu"] again.

The entrance loomed large over their heads, the musty smell hitting her hard. Who knew what they would find in there – but as the soft crunch of ancient bone snapped under her feet, she realized that whatever it was had an adventure in store for them.

It took Hawk a few mintues before he realized that he had lost Chani. He turned to asked her a question if they went right or left at the fork of the tunnel. She was gone. "Chani?" He called out for her. It felt wrong to be alone here.

A mist slowly roses from the floor. "Not again." He muttered as he saw a figure coming toward him. Hawk drew his saber but didn't like ignite it. "Hello. Who are you?" Hawk called into the mist.

Ducking as night creatures came past them like a swarm of bees. As so they had past, Is all right... If to stare off into the deeper part of the place, was it her empthy that kicking into play, something wasn't right it was her empathy telling her. Knowing that something not right, knowing what need to do, not only for herself but for the group she had to be the light with in the darkness. [member="Asaak Tey"] Guard you mind, let light flow through you. Ohly together with all us one mind can we stand against this darkness. Looking upon both Hasjo up a head of them, only to quickly be asking herself why thought was ready for such a trip. ONly to make herself know that there was other padawn on this trip, much more season then her like Asaak, what could she bring to this but her leather skin bag of trick to bring plant life flowing in here.

There it was, coming out of her leather bag was two tubes, one with powder, then other with a greenish liquid. Putting up both in front of her finding it harder to focus at hand. Both had life with in them powder form was in hibernation, the other live and growing. Putting them both together a little in each to form just two tube putting the cap back on both. Shaking them both up as it came to live now a bright green-yellowish glow could be seen only getting brighter in her hands, throwing one a head of them hearing it the glass break then came the spreading of the liquid on the floor as it to grow it wasn't strong enough to fight off the darkness to come, shiver running down her spin, but it would grow into some larger over time.

Lok almost growled in primal frustration as the thing dashed forward, just barely out of his reach. His arms and legs pumped wildly in hot pursuit of whatever the kark had taken his saber and utility belt. Those were things that he really couldn't replace, save for the belt and the miscellaneous items. The man's muscles were still a little sore from the cramped position in the tunnel, but blood had worked its way back into his limbs and it felt much, much better to feel it pumping through his veins.

A flash of a presence appeared to his right, a familiar outline jumping into full sprint alongside him. Lok heard her voice and immediately recognized it as one of the other padawans from before. "This thing isn't d-dark!" He replied, panting. "It feels...natural!" Of course it did. There was nothing sinister about the shadowy form he was chasing. It could have merely been an illusion, but those usually can't pick up actual objects. More so one could feel the very life force of it, like some predator hunting down its prey. More padawans leapt into the fray as well. The Valkyri didn't know exactly what their motive was for running with him, but he merely sped up his pace and veered to the side as his target dodged out of the way of [member="Hawk Solo"]. As it moved, Lok charged at it, noticing the change in direction as a decrease in its speed.

"Gotcha!" He hooped and hollered as he made contact with the rear of the frail thing, bringing it crashing down against the rocks with a yelp. Be that as it may, it was more than strong enough to writhe and free itself of the Valkyri's hold, dropping his belt and saber beneath it. The man grumbled a curse as he rose, bringing his eyes to bear upon the creature now shown in the dim lighting from the cracks in the ceiling. He sat there, halting mid-motion to stare at whatever the creature was. Dark black fur, gleaming red eyes, razor sharp teeth, and a flash of playfulness and appetite in its eyes. "What the hell?"

The Kiffar lost Lok and felt like she was being toyed with in a giant maze, the darkside was playing tricks, haunting her and Hawk's mind, even sentient creatures in these corridors wreaked of a mischievous nature. She rounded yet another bend in an attempt to catch up with Lok, hearing his footsteps and immediately ran into [member="Hawk Solo"], "Hawk!" she exclaimed, glad to see him, "I swear the walls shifted places, one minute you where there and then gone." Chani shivered as it suddenly grew cold.

He didn't see Lok or the creature he was chasing. He couldn't even hear Chani talking to him. He was lost in his vision. Brad?" He said as a vision became clearer. His older brother drew his saber and attacked him. Instead of Brad's green saber...it was red.

"No!" He cried out as he force pushes his vision away from him. Hawk shakes his head. "Chani?" He didn't know what was real or fake now.

The wall shifted again and the Kiffar was alone once more, shivering as the air grew colder, her breath expelled the heat from her body every moment, she no longer felt scared instead grew numb, fingers, toes, then hands and feet were solidifying into ice as her face became entrapped in the cool barrier, frozen in place Chani appeared before her...a reflection? No it was her and her double was screaming, shrieking, moaning bloody murder in an obtuse emotional pain.

"Feeeaaarrr", shrieking, "Feeeeeaaaarrrrr!", screaming, "Give it, take it, need it, want it, fear it, EAT it, fall fall fall fall fall" She was possessed by darkness and the sight made Chani lose her bladder in genuine terror, mumbling incoherently as she grew insane from the barrage of mental destruction. This is was not the end, this continued on through her Kiffar psychometry, repeating and repeating and playing over and over and in reverse and each time she lost her bowels and reversed and...continued...

"Feeeaaarrr", shrieking, "Feeeeeaaaarrrrr!", screaming, "Give it, take it, need it, want it, fear it, EAT it, fall fall fall fall fall"

As the odd mixture of light filled the chamber, there was not much more to be seen save for more stone and rubble. The walls thick and strong, still the foundation stood firm under the ruins but there was something. A presence of a past still lingering in the place, speaking of time of greatness for both Lighter siders and Dark siders equally. A soft whisper could be heard if one listened closely, of sentient beings past that had grace the floors of the rooms in which surrounded them. A sense of great one moment, then an onset of power of lust and hunger. Both mixing as one and give a air of something uncertain. A soft breeze whistled though the cracks in the walls of the ruins added to the atmosphere and chilling the bone. Coci shook it off and proceeded toward the walls to investigate, it is her nature to do so, out of a sense of curiosity and training.

She turned back to those that had joined her in the darken sunken room, her eyes touching on them both as she indicated to move forward, "Stay alert, there is something here", she said almost in a whisper as soft as the breeze swirling around them. She moved around circumnavigating the walls until she came across a large pile of debris that had fallen from the upper level, she could just make out an opening behind one of the larger pieces of stone work. "There is a door way here", she said to Maya and Asaak. Using the force, Coci began to move the rubble through TK and placing the stone carefully to the side.
