Carliah Dakrone

Walking the Path to Redemption
Carliah said and finish his bowl as well, a small bit of the soup was smeared across her cheek near her mouth. Carliah smiled at Yusan. "So... What's your life like? Being a senator must be interesting."

"THe senator part isnt as nearly exciting as it could be, also you have have a little bit of soup on your cheek." He let her clear it off before speaking again. "No, its usually alot more boring than it is made out and i see no reason for someone to become one. Other than to live as a pompous moron because you cant do any good there."

He frowned and looked down from the ceiling at her as she said this, raising a brow at her as he looked at her with her hands clasped over his mouth. "And i assume that is why you are now here on Coruscant is because of that happening?" @[member="Carliah Dakrone"]

Carliah nodded and tilted her head down towards the table again. Her hands were now gripping the edge of the table hard enough for her knuckle to turn white. "My mother died when I was three and my father was a spice addict... He blamed me for everything, especially money issues." Carliah sniffled softly, tears could be seen sliding out from under the bandages over her empty eye sockets. @[member="Yusan Fenn"]

Yusan remained silent for several moments and spoke to her, a smile back on his face. "Things get better miss, we just need to make them better or else we will be caught in the maw that is our past. Only the future can deliver us a better life and only we can set things in motion for such to happen." @[member="Carliah Dakrone"]

Carliah nodded weakly but continued to cry. She tried to avoid letting the memories of her horrid past creep up on her, but sometimes she couldn't fight them back and then she'd be a crying mess for hours. She let go of the table and rest her arms on it. She bit her lip until i bled to keep from sobbing.

He stood and walked over, grabbing at his robe and walking up beside her. He knelt down and moved her hands slowly before clearing away the tears and cleaning up the blood. "Come now Carliah, theres certain some better things that could be done right now instead of being sad."
