To catch a Street Rat.

Yusan had remained in the Meditation area he had made in another room the entire night and still sat there, completely silent and calm as he focused his mind out wards and felt the minds of those around him. There were so many here, and all of them sentient. At first so many minds had given him a headache now it was second nature.

Carliah stood up slowly. Her stomach growl loudly and she looked around again. She could sense the focus the came from Yusan's meditation and didn't want to disturb him, so she tried to find the kitchen on her own. This proved to be a bad idea as she tripped on her way into the kitchen. She tried to catch herself on whatever might have been nearby and instead ended up knocking a knife off the counter. The knife landed extremely close to her. It left a huge gash in her arm as it fell though luckily it avoided stabbing her. Carliah didn't even acknowledge the cut at first. She was not stranger to pain and it barely phased her anymore when she suffered a minor injury, like her bloody knuckles yesterday or the cut she had just gotten. @[member="Yusan Fenn"]

The door opened and Yusan walked over to her immediatly, and without question helped her up and started cleaning the wound. It was as if he was on autopilot as he worked, finally tying a medical patch around the wound to help it heal. "You really should be more careful there Carliah, that thing could have killed you.

"Well its not like I could see it. Besides, I've had worse... Alot worse." She cringed alittle as she spoke. "It's not so bad though... I'm almost an expert field medic because of how many times I've have to patch myself up." Carliah tilted her head to the side thoughtfully. She still wasn't accustomed to anyone showing her even the slightest form of kindness, and Yusan's concern still confused her.@[member="Yusan Fenn"]

"Well if your hungry, you could have just asked. Oh and by the way, you wont find any food here, i cant cook." He smiled and headed for the door, grabbing one of his robes and pulling it tight around him and throwing up the hood. "You coming?"

"S-sorry." Carliah hurried over to him, making sure to feeling around for any furniture that might be in the way, when she reached him she grabbed onto the sleeve of his robe. "Uh... Mind if I hold onto you so I don't fall?" She was blushing again. She wasn't used to being this close to anyone let alone a boy. She probably looked like such an idiot to Yusan.@[member="Yusan Fenn"]

"Its ok, just dont trip into me." He grinned and started towards the repulsorlift that led down to the first floor, once at the ground floor he headed right to the door, breathed in and let out a long sigh. "Ahh Coruscant, what a day." He turned and walked towards a diner, his feet moving on their own.

Carliah kept a hold of her sleeve. She walked directly behind him, paying close attention to where he placed his feet as he walked. She managed to walk behind him successfully without tripping over anything. She smiled when they entered the diner, the smell of food made her mouth water slightly. Being a street rat, she didn't eat well. @[member="Yusan Fenn"]

Carliah kept her 'gaze' on the table. She still felt awkward about looking at people. When she was younger any form of 'eye-contact' usually led to her getting hit. Her stomach growled loudly again and she blushed slightly. "Shut up." She whispered, slightly embarrassed.

Yusan glanced at her and smiled, a cheerful expression on his face. "What, i didnt say anything yet, you really should be nicer to me. I didnt think i was that annoying or energetic." He laughed alittle at his own joke and waited in the chair.

"I-i'm sorry I wasn't talking to you! I was talking to my stomach!" She blushed, stuttering as she spoke. Something about Yusan made her feel so nervous. It wasn't that she distrusted him, infact she felt quite safe in his presence. She had no idea what was causing her nervousness around him.@[member="Yusan Fenn"]

"Its ok, i was just joking anyways theres no reason to be sorry for speaking your mind. Id honestly prefer that as it lerts me know how you feel on a certain subject and allows me to get to know you better." He drink from the tea that was brought to the table, another glass being given to Carliah as the waiter came by with it.

Carliah took a sip of her tea, still blushing. "So.... What does my job as your assistant entail?" She was curious as to what kind of work she'd be doing for the senator.@[member="Yusan Fenn"]

"Just basic courier things, delivering and picking up stuff for me and what not. Nothing over taxing. Also since i assume you can fight ill be bringing you along to battlegrounds that i frequently visit if thats not a problem with you. If you need extra training though im always open to helping you out with such. No need for you to get hurt by something if i can help prevent it." He drank from his glass. "Also you mentioned Medical training?"

" I uh... have a natural talent for treating wounds... I've been treating severe injuries since I was five years old. Most of them were my own." Carliah hoped he wouldn't question her further about what she had just said.@[member="Yusan Fenn"]

"Simple, some sith thought it would be a good idea to visit the senate, things went south, something caught on fire and i had a roof collapse on me." He grinned as he said this, personally thinking it lightened the mood.

"How bad was your leg damaged? I've had bone my legs crushed before.... Not at the same time though." She said the words casually as if it were a completely normal thing to hear an 18 year old girl say.@[member="Yusan Fenn"]
