To the beginning.

Carliah's face turned red as she glared at Alexandra for a second. However, once the joke was explained, her look turned from rage to amusement, back to rage, then confusion. She might have understood the joke. She might have even enjoyed it. However, she was still a past sith and as such she valued power and strength, not pet names or things that included insults to her planet's cuisine. Garen however, was more sure of his feelings. As soon as it was explained he busted out laughing and Alexandra was spared any continuing glare as Carliah shifted it to her husband. "Great... I think you broke my parents."

She sighed and muttered under her breath something along the lines of "I could mention Zeltros." She grinned wide at him, eyes holding a bit of an evil tinge as she waited for him to say something again, all too hoping he wanted to make another comment about her ability to royally kark up a normal conversation... Best part about it though, if he wanted to test her, his parents would come to learn about Zeltros' new holiday.

Immediately Vulpesen turned red and he shut up though Carliah's golden eyes stared at Alexandra. "I've heard of the planet of Zeltros, indeed I spent a few missions there before I met Garen. Did something interesting happen there with my son?" A tone of amusement could be heard in her voice, soft yet smooth as honey as each word flowed from her mouth. A charismatic voice to be sure, and Vulpesen was not about to give it time to work its charms. "OKAY NOW, how about that food? I think I should have at least one home cooked meal in the twenty three years I've lied. SO, what do you say to showing us what the zorrens have to eat mother?" The outburst earned him a somewhat annoyed glance forom his mother. However, reunions should not be spoiled by too much curiosity and thus she nodded to him, resuming her earlier smile. "Of course, I'll go right now." With that, she left the room.

She smiled and couldnt resist kissing his cheek any longer. Her smile wide as she nudged him and sent a message to him through Daeda. "Her words. 'Thats not the most embarrassing thing i could have mentioned mister fox face... something i think your mom knows actually... ill tell you tonight.' Let me tell you this Vulpesen... its not embarrassment you will feel when she tells you."

His ears flicked as he listened and he was only getting more and more eager to hear what Alexandra had planned to tell him. He'd been wondering for most of their time here and quite of bit of his interactions with his parents was just a way to distract from the maddening curiosity that was plaguing his mind. Still, he kept his outward appearance calm as he waited for this new food to arrive.

She sat beside him, waiting to tell him but if she told him now she would be made to be safe and not help. And that was the last thing she was going to do was be coddled like someone who had just shattered their legs. So she simply took his hand instead, the knowing smile aimed at him as she withheld the information from him.

He sighed and rested against her, pulling Alex a bit closer. "So, are there any plans yet for hw we intend to bring down these bandits? I'm assuming they control most of the real weapons so a simple frontal assault would likely get us killed." It reminded him of his days in the Army of Light.A rogue band against impossible odds. A jedi, and a squad of fighters against a ring of hundreds of gunmen. It had been hard to win as he had. But it wasn't impossible. "Perhaps if we can take down the leader, we'll manage to start there."

"Well, i could always go in there as the shipwrecked and stranded human on the run from the savage natives, that would get me inside their base." She leaned back, she meant not a shred of disrespect and this was a plan she had already thought up a long while ago, only saying it now though to save time and not have them list off all these attempts of sneaking groups in.

Garen smiled as his son showed his abiltiies with tactics and as Alexandra aid her plans, he gave his head a small shake. "These are not mercifull men. They hold no illusions as to their purpose and should you enter their lands, you would simply be a new recruit, if not a new toy. As for us being savages, they no us not to be as such. These are bandits, not ordinary xenophobic invaders. No, that's not an option but... What we can do is a right of leadership. If we can beat the leader in a duel then we reclaim the planet. Its their way to mock our traditions but even they need rules to keep from collapsing on themselves. The only problem, he doesn't exactly fight fair. Its hard to win a duel when the sidelines are shooting at you. And thats not even considering the difficulty of reaching him to make the challenge."

"If i still had my force powers, i could easily get into that base without a single problem. I don't though, so that makes me pretty much useless in the means of infiltration... you two got any bright idea?" She looked at Vulpesen and his father, curious and watching them silently as she waited for one of them to come up with a idea for getting into the base.

Vulpesen grinned as his mind started to come up with ideas. "A few. Remember, I was once a shadow and since my dad and mom are the only known force users on the planet that have formal training, I doubt these bandits can find me too easily. All I'd need is a distraction. Then, I sneak up, declare my challenge and I we just do what I did back on Togorria. Those bandits won't shoot if they can't see their targets. They won't want to shoot their leader on accident."

"A distraction?" She smiled and immediately thought up several ideas. "Any way i can help with this distraction or not?" She already had a way but she wanted to hear what it was that he would say in suggestion. Her hand found its place under her chin, her fingers tapping slowly as she waited for someone to speak.

He nodded and smiled broadly at her. "Of course. Whatever you can do to help. Just try not to get shot. The whole point of this plan is to kinda eliminate any casualties. Especially those that are close to me." After addressing Alexandra, he looked up to his father. "Well, it seems like a good plan to me. Your mother will probably help lead the zorrens into your major distraction while I bring a small group to stop those gunners with your smoke screen."

"Im not going to get shot, that much i can promise you Vulpesen... lets eat though, im sure your mother would love to have you for dinner instead of having you running off and killing a bandit king upon his throne with your saber running him through." She leaned against the back of the couch, not realizing how tired she was until now. She hadn't slept the whole trip here and now they had spent atleast an hour or two, doing nothing but a meet and greet. None the less she didn't have the force to rely on to keep her energy up and st that awake as she looked between Vulps and his father, lazily and sleepy.

"Actually, I would be rather proud of him and I would likely start him a feast for the after party." Carliah smiled as she came in, a pair of assistants right behind her as they carried a large tray of strange foods, one of them being a small bowl of colored gem candies set by bottles of water capped by three spouts. Instantly, Vulpesen found himself finding interest in the candies and he reached for one, only to have his mother slap his hand. "Unless you want to be groaning in pain for three hours, I don't suggest you eat a raw fizz gem." After a questioning look from her son, the zorren lady took the strangely shaped top from one of the bottles and dropped a blue gem inside before placing it in Vulpesen's hands. "Cover the two side spouts with your thumbs and the middle one with your mouth." He did as he was told and found it interesting that he could hear a fizzing sound from the bottle and a gas, much like a carbonized drink was filling his mouth. "Remove one thumb." Again, Vulpesen did as he was told and after a second his eyes widened as he felt the drink rising into his mouth, having fizzed up out of the bottle. Despite his surprise, it was delicious and in a moment he lifted the other thumb only to hear a collective cry from his parents who to say the least, disapproved of the action. The flavored water was suddenly racing in too fast for him to actually drink it and before too long, the bottle popped form his mouth and launched across the room, spewing its blue contents in a straight line as it was jetted away, leaving a mess in its wake.

Alexandra watched and laughed as the drink rocketed away from him, unable to stop herself as she watched him sit there dumbfounded, a bit of the drink having sprayed on her though. In the end it didn't matter to her and so she reached out and began to clean up the mess with the force, and return his spilled bottle to her hand. The problem was she forgot she didn't know how to exactly control the force anymore and instantly let her hands drop. "Right... no powers..."

Vulpesen looks up, his father was laughing, Alex was laughing, and he was fairly sure his mother was still trying to decide if she should laugh or kill him. Int he end, she managed to collect herself with a sigh before starting to clean up the mess her son had caused. "Alright, next time I'll wait. But I'm surprised you guys haven't even turned those into weapons." With that, the father let out a chuckle and used the force to toss it over to Vulpesen and Alexandra. "Believe me, we've sometimes thought the exact same thing."

With the moment done Alexandra just looked at Vulpesen and his family, then blinked and looked at Vulpesen solely. "Hey, im going to go get some air, ill be back." She stood up, and her gaze told him silently not to bother coming outside too. With that she then looked at Daeda who had come out for a second and silently chatted with him about something, her mind distant in regards to what happened around her as she left the abode to stand outside and breath in the air.

He nodded to Alexandra as she excused herself and returned his attention to his parents, though he kept track of her in the force. It wasn't distrust or any sinister motive, simply the wish to know where she was, especially if he should need to find her. "So, how long until we're ready. I want to launch this assault as soon as possible to prevent any intel leaks." "Well, if we send the message out now, it might take up to two weeks. Our men are around the planet and while we have fast means of travel, its still not very easy to do in a short amount of time." Vulpesen twitched at the time. It was a while to be sure, but he would stick it out. He had to if these people, his people, were to regain their planet.

Alexandra would be outside while they were talking and soon she rolled her neck and smiled as she looked at a tree. Launching herself up into the tree she gripped onto the lowest branch and started to climb, moving towards the canopy and breaking through it to breath in and smile, her eyes trained on the sky as she looked at it. Daeda soon popped out of hiding, sitting with her as she looked at the stars.
