To the beginning.

He grinned and kissed her softly as she laid next to him. Wrapping an arm around her, he smiled and started to drift off as well. His first night on a planet that he could somewhat call his own. To say the least, he was excited to see what the next day would bring, even if it was filled with preparations to the coming conflict.

In the morning she woke up with Daeda back and sitting on the window seal, having not slept at all the night before and he looked at her as she sat up without trying to wake up Tsolan. Even if she did though she would smile at him and lean down and kiss him. "Hey, wake up, its morning." She would lay back down and wait for him to fully wake up as she looked at him.

Vulpesen's eyes slowly blinked open and he looked up at her. "Good morning, love." He returned her kiss with one of his own and started to get up, noticing that Ace had yet to move, his small blue form rising and falling with each breath. Reaching out with his hand, he called his robes into his hand. "Well, I guess its time for the real work to begin." With a grin, he let out a large stretch while a black tail lashed out next to him, careful not to hit anything (the magic of a retroactive continuity), got up and dressed into something more suited for walking than an open tunic.

"Ya..." She sat up again and pulled her hair back out her face and looked at him, taking a moment before standing and pulling her cloak off the bed post and smiling as she pulled it around her. "Come on Daeda, it seems that things are going to go fast now." She walked over to him and tapped his shoulder as she walked and grinned wider. "Lets go show some Zorren how the rest of the galaxy fights."

Vulpesen smiled and placed hes hand next to Ace. The wolf's ears then flicked as he heard Vulpesena nd he started up his arm, crawling to his palce on the sith's shoulder as he walked over to the door. Once he made it through the halls, he walked downstairs until his nose caught the scent of what he could only guess was food. Following the scent, he went down a few corridors until he found himself a sort of banquet hall where he was greeted by his father who sat at the head of the table. "And there's my son, here to save us and oust the tyrants that have taken our home!" Immediately, there were cheers, whoops, barks, and howls but while Vulpesen enjoyed the sentiment, there was still a thought that Ace easily picked up on. Far too early for excitement. Of course, such could also be seen as his black tail gave a rather lazy wave, while staying low. Sure zorrens were always bright eyed, but his tail wouldn't be bushy for another hour at least.

Alexandra smiled and smelled it too, and only then did she suddenly realize he had something she had never seen before. Leaning over she whispered to him in a very low voice that even the Zorren ears would find hard to hear. "Uh Vulps... did you always have that tail... i think its something i should have noticed before..."

Vulpesen was tired. He was on a new planet. He finally met his parents after twenty-three years. People he had never even SEEN before were cheering his nae. The woman he loved but had not married was pregnant with twins, AND ON TOP OF ALL THIS, he now had a new appendage. As [member="Alexandra Lianne Feanor"] mentioned the tail, he gave her a lazy look. Then he looked down to his tail. Then he looked back at her and said, "Well, that's new and interesting..." A dreamy smile grew across his face as he looked at her and Ace's eyes grew wide before the wolf leaped to Alex's shoulder. Once Ace was safe, Vulpesen did something he really should have done a lone time ago. He feinted.

She watched him drop and reached out, soon realizing that she forgot she no longer had the force and he came crashing down as she fell to her knees trying to keep him from smacking his head on the ground. "Uh Vulpesen's Dad, we might have a problem here..." She looked over at him, realizing she didn't even remember his name and resisting the urge to just crawl into a rock and hide from the fact she didn't.

He was out. As if every factor of his life had hit, Vulpesen had collapsed like a Togorian had punched him in the head and while he wasn't truly damaged in any way, it was clear he wasn't in any hurry to wake up. As for his father Garen got up and walked over with his wife rushing to her son's side. After a few checks she looked up to her husband. "You were the jedi. Can you heal him?" To this question, he simply shook his head. "He'll be fine. No blood and I don't sense any illness. Just let him rest for a while, maybe prop him up in a chair." He took one of Vulpesen's arms over his shoulder and walked him to a seat. "And please miss Cinthra, call me Garen."

"Right, sorry Garen..." The words sounded odd in her mouth, like she shouldn't call him that but then her eyes turned to Vulpesen's mother and father both, mainly his mother though. "Uh Miss T- i mean Carliah right? Vulpesen knows about uh my certain affliction, if he tries once to keep me out of the fight, please smack him upside the head for me, i have the distinct feeling that he will try when i am not around..."

Carliah smiled at Alexandra as she spoke and her red tail swished behind her. "Of course, dear. You know, I was worried about how my son had grown up. With you however, I can be fairly convinced that his judgement is quite good." She sat down at the head of the table, in a seat right next to where her husband would sit when he was done setting his son up while his tail pulled out a chair for Alexandra. "And by that, I can be assured that he followed Zarro's words of defending others. We can't thank you enough for keeping him alive enough to get him here."

"Well to tell you the truth, ive been shot three times in the gut on one occasion, nearly impaled by a spear in the same instance. Controlled by a manifestation of pure darkside which is still living in my head... yes you, shut up Hel... Shot in the back by a Jedi while i was talking to Vulps. Knocked out multiple times, almost crushed, oh and almost committed treason against the Sith, trust me when i say hes the one that has kept me alive." She sat down and smiled as she said that, only now realizing just how many times she would have died without him around.

Garen and Carliah rose their brows at the action, an action that would most certainly show up as similar to Vulpesen's actions. "Well, its good to see that he's made life interesting. Thought I must say that you people have far more perils than we did when we were young." Carliah took a peice of meat form the table and motioned for Alexandra to help her self. Though. t wasn't until the two Torrevaso's took their first bites that the other men around the table dove into their meals.

She smiled and watched as the others waited for Garen and Carliah to start before they did, also waiting herself and then eating it, albeit at a much slower pace. Her eyes glanced at Vulpesen once though, smiling a bit at him as he was passed out in the chair, missing this for the moment. She smiled and leaned on her hand again, watching the others while she ate and seeing if she could notice anything about their culture while they ate.

The zorrens showed no shyness as they ate, taking pieces from around the table and those with the force were not above using it to get their meals. Over all, everyone seemed to have a jovial time. Jokes were shared with stories and tales. As for utensils, while most used forks and knives, many did use their claws to stab and cut their food. After a while, Vulpesen did manage t wake up and looking at the food, he took what seemed to be the cooked haunch of an animal. After his own observations, he quickly started to dig in. If one thing could be said about the meal, these people knew the demanding metabolism of their race and certainly compensated for it.

Alexandra merely watched them and blinked as she sat there, a bit of humor crossing her lips as she found it somewhat funny she was the only one not digging into the food like it was her last meal or she hadn't eaten in weeks. In the end while they tore into their food Alexandra finished and watched them with more humor the longer it lasted.

Garen looked up at Alexandra, a large piece of food in his right hand. "Alexandra, there's no need to be shy. Of all the things we have a shortage of, we make sure that food isn't one of them." With that comment, Vulpesen let out a small laugh, remembering her manner when his first Zorren hunger had hit. "Actually dad, I think its just that she can't eat as much as us." As much as Vulpesen would have enjoyed finishing his meal to have more socialization, it occurred to him that he hadn't really eaten all day on the day before.

"Ya, im kind of limited regarding space, im not exactly as...hungry as you guys get." She shifted a bit now, realizing just how far out of the normal, how she was now the strange on and they were... infact she had been so focus on studying their culture, she didn't realize they were probably studying her too and hadn't seen a nor- well a partial human in a long time past those attacking them.

Garen gave a nod of understanding and took another bite of the piece of meat that was in his hand. "Now I remember. Human metabolisms are smaller than ours. Though, you also tend to be a bit weaker, no offense." Around the table the zorrens were starting to slow down, finishing the last of their food, some of the smaller ones were even reaching that point where they were finished.

"None taken, ive learned of ways to get around the strength barriers with a bit of physical enhancement though the force itself. It is one of my most invested abilities along with telepathy and telekinetics... i can't really show you right now, but it is none the less." She thought about it and glanced at the ceiling, she was going to have to get her memories of those abilities back from Tricia sooner or later and it was that that she was not looking forward too. Because the moment she had them again, her obligation would return.
