#Vacay

[member="Munin"]

She sputtered but clung to him as he lifted her for a second. "Pffft. Maybe on vacation." Voice cracked a bit because she was actually being serious. #mostlyserious

"But you'll just have to see," she finally got herself under control and smiled, inches away from his face. Once they crossed the threshold of the apartment, she let go of her grip, feet landing on the floor.

She wiggled free from the towel and dashed to her room, giggling as she closed the door to shower and change.

[member="Spark Finn"]

Munin smiled, not following after her but instead breaking off to head to his own room.

As always he managed to shower and change much faster than Spark did. It was probably his upbringing again. In the Orphanage hot water had always been in rather short supply, especially on days where everyone decided it was time to shower.

That made Munin always go fast when he was cleaning himself.

Within just a few moments he was dressed in a similar way as before, though obviously he wasn't wearing a suit. Instead he had donned a simple T-Shirt and a pair of shorts, his toes wiggling inside a new pair of socks as he waited for Spark to finish.

[member="Munin"]

Good thing she had a second swimsuit so she didn't have to pack a wet one. Door swished open and she came out, running a towel through her damp hair. Feet were clad in her fave converse. She wore high-waisted hipster shirts with a light blue tank top.

Flip flops were packed too.

#beachware

Bending over, she grabbed her two bags and smiled at Munin. "Ready? You packed swimming stuff, right?"

"Oh I was under the impression that I didn't need it." Munin said with a smile. "After my little trip in the hot tub."

He had in fact packed his swimming trunks, though he still didn't actually know how to swim. It was something he always meant to learn, but then something else came up. Perhaps eventually he'd get it down, but for now he would just have to stick to shallow water.

Swimming wasn't all that important anyway.

The Information Broker stood up from the couch and slowly wandered over to Spark, smirking at her and slowly scooping up the bag that he'd put down by the door. The bag was slung over his shoulder as he slowly started backing away from her. "Oh wellllllllll."

[member="Munin"]

"Wha--nuuh!" She scurried after him. #suchatease. Tongue stuck out at his back. He was kidding, right? Guess she'd just find out. It's not like they hadn't gone in their undies before...

Cheeks reddened. Throat cleared.

Didn't take them long to settle into the ship and lock up. And soon, they were on their way. Munin would finally see the location as the coordinates were punched into the hyperdrive.

Bal'demnic

It was perfect. They got crystal clear waters and rocky beaches without the sand. Sand wasn't her fave. But the mild temperature and waters were. "Sooo," she beamed excitedly. "I rented us an all-expenses paid resort style bungalo. It hangs halfway over the water with a part being a glass floor! It's super private, one of the more secluded suites. We even get our own skiff to take out for snorkeling and exploring the other islands. Well, if you learn how to swim. There are hikes we can take. Hammocks," she trailed off.

There was tons of stuff to do if they wanted to. Hopefully, Munin would like it all too.

Munin smiled. The vacation did sound nice. He frowned for a moment at the mention of 'snorkeling', mostly because he had no idea what that even was, but he decided not to tell her that. His hand reached out and touched hers, gently squeezing. "Thank you."

The Information Broker of course knew exactly why she was doing this, she was trying to cheer him up. He appreciated it, he really did, and the place would certainly take his mind off of everything, but he wasn't so sure that it would be the thing that solved everything. Eventually they would have to face the facts, they would have to do some deeper digging, find out what had really happened to him. Still the gesture was more than appreciated, and he slowly leaned over to press a kiss against her cheek.

"It'll be lots of fun." It really would be.

He'd never been to a place like she described, not even on one of his trips.

[member="Munin"]

Heart beat a bit faster as he leaned in. She imagined he'd always make her feel like that. #alwaysbeblushing

She squeezed his hand. The rest of the trip went smoothly. They spent time idly chatting and taking about more things to do once they got there. One of the hikes went to a well-known waterfall. Another went to some sea caves.

They'd have their pick of activities.

And of course, they could always stay secluded in their bungalow. There was supposed to be a small infinity pool in the back. Probably about the size of the hot tub. And of course, there were enough data ports and terminals to keep her satisfied.

#technominded

In no time, they were disembarking down the ramp if the ship. A plucky bell-boy was already coming out to greet them with a top less speeder waiting.

"Oh. One more thing. You're Bill and I'm Jill. Fake IDs." Maybe she should've gone with Bob.

[member="Spark Finn"]

He smiled. "Did we ever settle on whether Jill loves Bill?"

Briefly he glanced towards the speeder. For some odd reason he couldn't help but be a little weary as the bell boy rushed towards them, his fingers tightening on the strap of his bag as the lad tried to take his pack away from him. A bit of paranoia shone through him and he put up a hand.

"That's alright." He told the boy. "I can carry this."

He knew this was supposed to be a vacation, but that didn't meant he would drop his guard entirely. The boy nodded his head as if this wasn't the first time he'd been denied, grabbing 'Jill's' bag and quickly wandering back towards the speeder and Munin lead Spark towards their ride.

"I think you'll have to take care of me while we're here." He said as he leaned in and stole a quick kiss.

"Daily massages." He smiled at her. "Footrubs."

[member="Munin"]

"Oh really?" She smiled and knocked her hip lightly against his side. "IIIIII think you still owe me some foot rubs," she teased and climbed into the back of the speeder, scooching over so Munin could slide in beside her.

"You know, for Jakku. And that time in the air vents," she whispered so Philip the bellboy wouldn't hear. Philip smiled at them, hoping to get a bigger tip as he began giving them a tour of the facilities as they went on their way to the bungalow.

Her attention was on Munin, however, and not on where you check out paddle boards or the surroundings of smooth rocky formations meeting water and greenery, dotted with modern conveniences.

"And I guess Jill loves Bill," she winked which came across more awkward than the was meant to be.

"Do I?" He whispered back.

Munin, like Spark, wasn't really all that interested in what the bellboy was saying. Instead he satisfied himself with placing a gentle hand on his girlfriends knee, his thumb slowly stroking over her skin as he leaned in close and whispered to her.

"Do you have that in writing?" He asked her. "Because I brought my coupons."

A small smirk played on his lips.

Munin had made it a point to actually craft the coupons he'd earned on that little ice world when they'd gotten home. A few hours in HoloImage-Shop and a printer had made it more than simple enough to get what he'd wanted.

[member="Munin"]

"What?!" Neck turned so she could look him face to face. She caught that smirk. One arm looped through his. Blue-eyes squinted.

"You don't really have them," she challenged. "And they're not transferable."

#nonrefundable

The speeder slowed as it shifted to a path along a winding coast. Up ahead there was a bungalow one one of the points, next to the jungle.

[member="Spark Finn"]

"I do have them." They were tucked away in the back pocket of his bag. He had made sure to grab them before leaving, mostly just for fun. In truth he had never expected the ploy to work, yet the two times that he'd used his ticket Spark had been more than willing to comply.

He was down to seven now.

"As for transferring them..." He trailed off as he pulled her slightly closer. "I think that's up for negotiation."

He pressed a quick kiss onto her lips, a short peck brought along with a wide smirk.

[member="Munin"]

"You think you can negotiate with me?" She smiled and leaned into him. This time, she was bold enough to steal a kiss. #boldforafinn

"I'm a steel trap."

The speeder slowed a second time as they stopped in front of their vacation house for the next few days. Phillip got out and began unloading their bags. Well, the ones he was allowed to carry.

Oh yeah, Phillip.

Cheeks blushed and she pulled away from Munin, stepping free from the speeder. At least they'd have their privacy soon. Phil waited for them at the front door, looking expectantly, a silly grin on his face.

[member="Spark Finn"]

He didn't like the bellhop, thinking him a bit creepy.

Without another word Munin slowly stood up out of the Speeder and followed after Spark who had gotten out on the other side. She quickly made her way to the small Hutt, smiling at the boy for one second as she moved past him into the house.

The information broker dropped his bag on the floor and then fished out a credit chit. "Here"

He gave the device to the boy.

"Make sure no one bothers us." Once he looked at the chip he'd see it was WAY too much for him to actually get. "Understood?"

The boys eyes nearly bulged out of his head as he nodded.

[member="Munin"]

Bags dropped. The place wasn't huge but it was pretty lavish. There was that infinity pool combined hot tub out back, off the master bedroom. There was a small kitchenette that they probably wouldn't need. Meals were delivered every day by droid. A king-sized bed was tucked beneath some mosquito netting. A large refresher with a jetted tub and sanisteam was off to the side and there were two couches and an entertainment council.

The floor beneath the pool and balcony was glass and looked as though everything melted into the crystal clear water, below.

#vacay

Clearly Munin would be using all his coupons because there was only one bed. But ever since the Keep, she was used to sharing a bed with him, even if it was mostly snuggles with occasional stolen kisses. Although, she'd retreated a bit to her own room when they'd gotten back to their apartment, giving him space if he needed it.

Some nights, he'd end up with her anyway.

"So, Bill. What do you think?"

She heard the speeder rev up outside as the bellhop happily left.

[member="Spark Finn"]

The little hut certainly was nice.

It was clear that whomever had put it all together had tried very hard to make it as beautiful as possible while still maintaining an air of simplicity. All of it was ornately built and carved, all of it looked nice, and the half glass floor that looked into the ocean was absolutely beautiful, but an effort had been made to keep everything...simple.

For some reason Munin liked that a lot, it made things easier.

"I think..." Munin began as he slowly stepped into the room, peering around. "The best thing about this place..."

He poked his head into the bedroom and then turned to Spark. "Is the girl standing in the middle of it all."

The Broker smiled, but there was no jest or joke to his words, no mischief in his eyes.

[member="Munin"]

A small smile drew upon her lips. She beamed even. She took a step toward him. "Stop. You're going to make me blush."

A hand pressed to her pale-cheek but the smile stayed on her face. "I'm glad you like it and you're...happy. Well, happy for the moment."

Her smile faltered a bit but then quickly returned as she closed the distance between them and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek. "Sooo. What do you want to do first? The pool? Hot tub again? Lounge outside, a hike?"

[member="Spark Finn"]

That was a lot of options, and in truth Munin didn't know if he wanted to do any of them. He was more than just happy to sit with Spark and just enjoy her presence, being with her. That alone brought him more joy than a dozen expensive processors.

"Hmmm." He made a show of thought as his arms wrapped around her. "I think I'll let you choose."

The information broker said.

"I chose the hot springs on our last trip, so I think it's your turn." His nose nuzzles against hers.

Munin didn't care what they did, as long as they did it together he would be more than happy. Also if there were no bugs, he hated bugs.

[member="Munin"]

Gangly-arms wrapped around him as he held her close. She sighed into him, stealing a quiet moment. She let her lips trail along his jaw.

#omgee

"Well, how about the infinity glass bottom pool? We have a butler droid and it can bring us some fancy drinks." She grinned and leaned against him, blonde-hair probably tickling his face.

"You up for floating again?"

[member="Spark Finn"]

He scrunched his nose slightly.

"Infinity pool?" The idea did sound intriguing, though he had no idea what it actually was or how it was built. He assumed there would be some mirrors and glass involved, maybe some lights, but before he went and saw he had to tease Spark a little bit more.

"Dunno." Munin said with a small smile. "Sounds scary."

He very gently squeezed her. "I think you'll have to sell me on this idea."
