#Vacay

She'd chosen this place for a reason. It was isolated. For miles. She never would've felt comfortable at a public resort. Munin didn't have to worry about privacy here. More than that, Spark didn't have to worry about it.

"I dunno," she smiled and took another sip, before setting the drink down on the pool's edge as she waded in. She only wobbled once. Still lightheaded from that kiss and a #lightweight. #takeitslow. The blue water lapped up around her waist, pushing up the bottom of the tankini top slightly, just over those pale and bony hips of hers.

"Like bath water. Pretty good temp for staying in longer," tongue quickly stuck out at him.

"Oh yeah?" Munin asked as he slowly stepped forward and waded into the water.

He still couldn't swim, so he was more than a little weary, but he could at least walk up to where Spark was standing. She turned for a moment and looked out at the ocean, Munin stepping up behind her. Slowly his hands settled on her hips, fingers slipping around her until his arms wrapped around her stomach.

"I'm happy we came here." He told her with a kiss on her cheek. "I'm happy I'm with you."

A gentle squeeze followed the words.

His touch sent tiny goosebumps along her skin. Bony-shoulder blades bumped lightly against him. She stared out at the quiet and isolated waters. This was a rare moment in her life where things were actually peaceful. She wasn't being hunted down by Sith or the first order.

And the man behind her had very much stolen her heart even with how guarded it had been.

#hehadthekeyyo

Slender neck turned to the side and she kissed him on the lips, a bit awkwardly, considering the angle. "I love you, Mun."

[member="Spark Finn"]

He smiled slightly, it was really all that he could thing to do, her lips pressing against his, the odd awkward angle of her neck as she kissed him.

When she slowly pulled away Munin squeezed her gently. "I love you too."

He really did. A part of him was still unsure of what exactly that meant, of what she expected from him. He had never been in a relationship before, he had never been with someone like this before. It was all different, all new, but not necessarily bad.

He loved her, that was all that mattered in the end.

They watched the sunset like that, the glowing globe of orange and yellow dipped beneath the horizon, leaving soft hues of pastels in its wake. Further up, stars were beginning to show. After Spark complained about becoming pruny, they finally moved back inside.

Spark slipped on one of the robes. It nearly swallowed up her bony-form. But she didn't care. She needed some warmth with that wet suit underneath. She sat on one of the couches that faced the balcony, munching on some sort of tropical fish with plantains and rice from the butler droid. Her hoth chiller was about halfway done.

#goingslow

"The food here is pretty good. I might never leave," she teased.

[member="Spark Finn"]

"Probably not the best idea." Munin said as he half turned towards her. "I think eventually you'd get tired of all the sun."

Munin had no idea if that was true, but it was for him at the very least. Eventually the would get sick of the sun, probably physically and mentally. "You'll get all sunburnt."

The Information Broker told her as he wandered up behind her.

"Then you'd have to ask me to put aloe all over you..." He smiled. "Actually that might not be such a bad idea."

His smile turned into a smirk. "Let's stay."

The technopath could feel the heat creeping on her cheeks already. "Ohhh, you'd like that, wouldn't you?" Freckled nose crinkled at him and she tilted her head back so she could see him.

#creepingbehind

She did have sensitive skin. It already had a slightly burned tint just from this afternoon. At least that his some of her blushing. It also meant she was feeling hotter than usual. Bony-butt shifted on the couch.

"Are you going to lurk behind me all night or are you going to eat something too and join me?" She smiled up at him, tangled damp blonde strands of hair fanning across the top of the couch and down her shoulders.

She needed a shower too, to get that chlorine off.

[member="Spark Finn"]

Munin leaned down and pressed a kiss onto her forehead.

"I'll join you." He wasn't all that hungry actually, he hadn't really had much of an appetite since they had left the keep. Spark knew that of course, she had been trying to make sure he ate for days. She was good to him, only wanting the best. He pressed another kiss to her forehead.

Slowly he rounded the couch, plopping himself down besides her.

"Smells good." He said with a smile. "Never really was much of a fish guy though."

Mostly because the fish back home had always been rotten.

Leaning over the plate of the coffee table, she scooped up a bite with some rice and plantains. One hand cradles just beneath the fork, to catch anything that might fall off. "Want to try a bite? I've never tasted anything so fresh. If you don't like it, you could order something else?"

Munin was making her worried. He'd lost some weight since the Keep and like her, he was skinny to begin with.

#couldntaffordtolosemuchmore

Fuzzy robe brushed against him as she leaned in close, hovering the fork of food just in front of his mouth.

[member="Spark Finn"]

Munin took a bite, slowly chewing and smiling at her.

For a moment he just sat there, as if in consideration of what he was actually tasting, eventually he shrugged. The Information Broker didn't hate it, but in truth he had always leaned more towards simple foods. Pasta had always been his favorite meal, something that had stuck with him since he was a small child. "It's pretty good."

He told her as he slipped an arm around her.

"I'll eat more later." He told her. "I promise."

Maybe after they did something outside. They still had an entire vacation to spend together after all, and they hadn't really done anything to work up an appetite just yet.

[member="Munin"]

"Okay," she said quietly. She couldn't force him to do anything more would she want to. He was a grown man. #grownassadult

Scooping up the last bite, she finished her food. The butler droid wheeled around and took her plate away. Something else to cook and clean? Yes. Please.

"We need to get one of these droids," she mused, leaning into Munin a bit. Senses stretched forward in the force, mind diving into the way the droid was built. She couldn't help it. Hopefully no bad mamajammas were around.

"And I need to take a shower," eyes drifted to the window and the night sky. The tang of chlorine still drifted up from her skin.

[member="Spark Finn"]

"Well maybe you can build us one." Munin said as he gently pulled her back against himself, arms wrapping around her and holding her. He squeezed her gently, nuzzling her neck for a moment. She was the tech expert after all, though he had no idea how she actually used the force to influence machines. Munin couldn't actually build droids or anything, he wasn't an engineers, just a slicer.

Very gently he pressed a kiss against the skin of her neck.

"Okay." He told her. "Maybe when you're done we can go hiking or something."

There was bound to be something interesting to see here around here, and she had said there was complete privacy.

[member="Munin"]

His nuzzling made her giggle. She tried to sober up because she also felt a tingle all the way down to her toes. Bony-elbow lightly poked into his ribs as she snuggled closer.

"I'll make two of them. Just need the raw materials. And hiking?"

Blue-eyes shifted up to his.

"It's dark outside. What're we going to see?"

#nightbeachhike?

[member="Spark Finn"]

"There's plenty to see at night." He pointed out to her, kissing her neck again.

Sure they could wait until tomorrow, but then they'd have to find something else to do tonight. He liked the idea of heading towards the beach, or maybe taking a headlamp or two and moving up one of the trails that would take them cliffside. Perhaps it would be a bit dangerous, but she had the force and it wasn't like someone would try to attack them here. This was a vacation.

Not to mention it was still plenty warm outside.

"Unless you have a better idea?" He wasn't determined on hiking, but it would be fun.

[member="Munin"]

She gulped back another giggle. "No. I think it'll be fun," she turned and nuzzled her freckled-nose against his. "But," hot breath nipped at his lips. "I'm not the most coordinated individual...." #worried.

She kissed him gently.

"As you know."

All the things. #allthefalls

"And if we're doing this, I won't have to shower until we get back." #duh #sweatyhikes

"We'll take headlamps." He had seen some in one of the cabinets in the kitchen, likely placed there incase there was a power outage or something within the cabin itself. He smiled slightly and nuzzled her nose, shifting for a moment before he slowly drew back.

"I'll make sure you don't fall off a cliff." He joked. "Maybe tie a rope around you."

He smiled slightly.

"It'll be fun." He repeated her own words as his arms lightly squeezed around her. They would have to change again before leaving. Sure it was warm enough out, but there was also bugs out there. He'd rather not get bitten all over the place.

[member="Munin"]

"We'll see," she mused. With a wiggle, she slipped from from his arms and stood. Feet were in fuzzy-slippers. She ducked into the bedroom and changed out of her suit beneath the robe. #likesummercampchanging Then, shimmied on her shorts and tanktop from earlier, finally dropping the robe.

Perched on the edge of the bed, she began tying of her fave shoes. #converse

It was so comfortable and dry and bugless in the bungalow. She couldn't believe Munin wanted to leave. And go through physical exertion. Nose crinkled. Once again, Gabe would be very pleased that Spark was being forced to exercise.

#uggghhh

Munin followed after her into the bedroom, giving her just enough time to where he knew that she would have finished changing. While he was a bit more lax with his modesty, he knew that Spark wasn't quite ready to show herself to him just yet, and that was okay. Slowly he wandered into the room, finding her perched on the bed. He was going to wait for a moment, and then he remembered what she had said to him earlier. A frown pulled at his lips for just a moment, then he shrugged.

Slowly Munin wandered to the other side of the bed so he was behind her, then began to change.

They were still in the same room, but now Spark wouldn't suddenly find herself staring at him in the nude. Of course if she wanted to look all she had to do was turn around, but Munin didn't really mind if that happened.

He stripped off his bathing suit in one quick motion, taking out a fresh pair of boxers and some thin long pants that would be good for the hike.

[member="Munin"]

She was VERY aware that he was changing behind her. #duh But she was concentrating on tying her converse. And logically going over all the ways that she could get hurt on something like this. Head shook slightly at her brooding thoughts.

Hopping off the bed, she slipped by Munin's semi-clothed form and into the refresher, rummaging around until she found some bugspray. The gangly-limbed blonde began dousing herself in it, creating a semi-toxic cloud in the bathroom that began to filter out through the open door to the bedroom.

She coughed and waved her hand.

"Ready yet?"

[member="Spark Finn"]

Munin pulled the shirt over his head. "Yeah."

Now they just needed the headlamp, and that tiny map he'd seen in the drawer so they could actually find a path to walk up. It wasn't like he wanted to climb an entire mountain after all, maybe just find a small spot that they could sit and enjoy the stars at. A small smile drew on his lips.

"Babe, can you look around for a small blanket?" Might as well be comfortable if they would be sitting. "I'll get the headlamps."

He stepped out of the bedroom and headed to the kitchen, quickly starting to rummage through every drawer and cabinet.

Eventually he found what he was looking for, plucking two headlamps out of one of the drawers. He tested both of them individually, seeing whether or not the lamps would actually work. After he was sufficiently blinded Munin put the lamps on the counter, searching for the small paper map of the area.
