Description: The Void Trooper Corps is The Emergence's living army. While the Emergence Droid Army is tasked with Invasion, the Void Trooper Corps occupies itself with Planetary Defense. It is responsible for the Recruitment, Subjugation and Policing of Emergence territories, but also provides an auxiliary invasion force if the Droid Army cannot cope.
Upon arrival, The Emergence will exploit the local population of a planet for defense. This cuts Droid expenditure and serves to offer a new job sector and form of propaganda when occupying a new Planet. The Trooper Corps encompasses every class of Trooper, from the cannon-fodder Troopers to the more mundane Void Police.

Since 852ABY, Orex Mauda had been manufacturing and storing Combat Droids across the Galaxy. In 856ABY, The Emergence Empire was formed and the millions of waiting droids were activated. With the foundations of a Government and a small Droid Army, The new Emergence Empire moved to Skism, where they installed themselves as Government and established the beginnings of a Enlightened Imperial Technocracy.
With The Emergence Droid Army numbering hundreds of millions, and construction still continuing, the new Skism Government exploited the eagerness of the now Militarised S'kiss population and formed The Void Trooper Corps. Tasked with Planetary Defense, the Trooper Corps Polices and Protects The Emergence's capital and any other planet under Emergence control.
