The Sith Temple has been subject to a number of raids, and attacks. It would absolutely be defended by more than a skeleton crew. It would also have a number of anti-air defenses, as we were last time hit with fighters/bombers.

You're still underselling just how well defended it would be.

It's the heart of the Sith Order. It would be one of the most well defended areas on coruscant.

Not to mention a lot of OSA military NPCS, as well as a uge number of Sith Lords defending it, and a huge number of acolytes ,and knights respectively.

In terms of the fleet on Coruscant, I'm not sure if Darth Acris' fleet is the only fleet that was responsible for defending Coruscant, but I would imagine, just as evidenced in a number of canon sources(Disney and EU), that Coruscant's fleet is extremely large, and would feature a large amount of Star Destroyers(interdictors, cruisers, etc). It can arguably be even stated that since Coruscant is the center of the galaxy, it is the most defended planet in the galaxy, and in OS space due to its huge importance, in its history, and in its unarguable place as the center of galactic(Galactic Empire, Republic, Krayt's Empire, Galactic Alliance), etc. governments that have shaped the galaxy's history one way or another.

I'm disappointed that we've already got stupid, absurd stuff going on. I would've preferred to be hands off (outside of my own involvement), but that clearly isn't going to be the case.

A traitor force is attacking the capitol of the One Sith. It is the heart of the Empire, and the Order. Nothing's going to be lightly defended. Every inch taken is going to be an inch earned in blood. Don't try and spin it any other way.
