Wake Up

Soliael grinned, opening one of his eyes for a brief few seconds.

His hand suddenly came up from his side, palm wide open and moving like a viper. With the reaction time only a force user could have, one trained in martial arts for decades uncounted, Soliael moved to strike. Like an eagle hunting for its prey his palm came down on his target...

Right on Kira's rear end.

The shocked gasp barely would drown out the sharp crack of his hand hitting home. A Sol hand sized red imprint would smart over her left cheek, and she would suddenly rear back, twin spots of color on her face matching the mark now on her bottom.

"You... you" really Kira, use your words. So she acted impulsively. Grabbing a pillow, the bite of his slap still ringing on her already tender nether regions, she began to subsequently pummel him with it.

"You are SO going to pay for that!"

Soliael grinned, and he allowed the beating to continue with all the ardent fervor that Kira could muster. The pillow struck him over and over again, hitting him in the head, chest, and once or twice even in the neck. Soliael simply lay there and took it, allowing Kira to distract herself while his other hand slowly crept up behind her.

He grabbed the other cheek, so to speak.

With a firm grip Soliael latched onto Kira's rear end, pulling at it, and her, so that she would fall forward onto his chest.

“It's fine!” He called as he pulled her. “I'll kiss it and make it better.”

She fell with a flop on top of him again, chest to chest and with a whoop of laughter. Her pillow went slipping to the side, and bright blue eyes would laugh down at him.

"Oh you'll do better than that!" she said in teasing threat, pressing light playful kisses along the scruff of his jaw. "You will -" kiss. " - get " kiss, " - it now!"

More kisses and then the giggling rub of her nose against his.

Soliael grinned as she began to plan kisses on him, then smiled as she lightly rubbed her nose.

Slowly they calmed down, with her falling on his chest and coming to rest and him laying his hands around her. One arm slid from her rear end up to her lower back, wrapping around her and holding her in place. The other slid up her back and towards her head, fingers sliding in between locks of hair to gently massage at her scalp with unconscious curling of fingers.

“And now, my love?” Soliael said as he held her in place.

“What is it we do now?” He smiled, his fingers curling and his arms flexing slightly as he gave her a light squeeze.

Kira Talith

Kira’s head would fall forward at the coaxing of his fingers, the gentle head massage quickly being a kind of a ‘shut down’ button for the Lorrdian. She would rest her cheek against his chest, closing her eyes and snuggling up close as he would continue his caress.

“Mmm… breakfast sounds amazing.” she’d suggest, voice slightly muffled as strands of soft blonde hair would be gently brushed away from her face.

“Did you want to practice lightsaber combat some more?” she would mull aloud, curling her fingers in an idle doodle over the brawn of his shoulder.

Soliael let out a deep breath. “No. I think today I'm going to work on a little present.”

He smiled slightly at his own words. This was something he had mused on a few days ago, when Kira had first exhibited her inclination for meeting the ground under different circumstances. Plus what had happened to them over the last few weeks only strengthened that inclination. He smiled down at her.

“Give you a day of rest and relaxation.” His muscles stretched slightly beneath her, and he let out a big yawn. “I'm sure you're very tired.”

He gave her a wink.

Kira Talith

Kira wouldn't see the wink, as she was too busy enjoying the cafune. Nonetheless, she would snuggle closer, letting out a deep exhale as she would continue to use Soliael as her makeshift bed and pillow.

"Mmm.. rest sounds lovely." he was right, there still was that bit of soreness throughout her limbs among other things as a tell tale blush would rush to her face. That same face she would move to hide against the crook of his neck.

"Food sounds better." her voice would rumble slightly against his skin, her warm nose brushing against it.

Soliael smiled. “What would you like?”

The Kitchens on this level were by no means as ornate as the one he had cooked her steak in, but they could manage most simple things. Eventually they would be teeming with servants and the like that would bring food, but since the Fortress was still under construction Soliael would likely have to do it himself.

The invisibly servants that had sometimes been so helpful were not always on cue, and he doubted they would be making the breakfast, usually they only appeared when need was dire, like the soup, or the clothes that had appeared, or cleaning the bed within Kiras room.

Odd little things they were.

His mind snapped away from that and back towards Kira, his smile growing slightly as she tried to bury herself further within his neck. He himself still felt no hunger, even after all that had happened, though he doubted it would stay that way for much longer.

Kira Talith

"Hmm," Kira would ponder what to answer with. The petite Lorrdian certainly enjoyed indulging in food. Anytime she could she would be eating some kind of snack. Food to get was one of the few things she truly would savor. Funny how such a tiny thing could have such a voracitous appetite.

"Gartro egg omelet and Nuna Bacon?" She would ask, opening her eyes and lifting her head up to look at him with a hopeful expression. She could be just like a youngling at times, a bit silly and certainly carefree.

“I'll see what I can do.” Soliael said with another squeeze of her back. He rolled slightly, tipping her off of him so that she would end up in the bed. Then he somehow managed to shimmy himself out from underneath her, extracting his muscular arms and leaving the warmth of her behind. Some regret floated through him as he exited the covers, though he was pleased enough at the prospective of seeing her happy and full that it did not matter much.

There was a slight worry that the kitchen didn't have Gatro Eggs, but then again there were a dozen substitutes.

He smiled at her one last time, then disappeared.

The journey to the kitchens was a fast one, an once he was there he found that they did indeed have no Gatro eggs. What he found instead were the eggs of a Quor'Sav, gigantic bipedal birds that laid equally gigantic eggs. Soliael shrugged and decided that the bigger the omelet, the happier the Kira.

So he took one of the Quor'sav eggs and simply began to cook.

Meanwhile, Kira would attend to the daily mortal needs. A trip to the refresher was first, although the walk certainly held a sore protest. She couldn't help but smile again. That secret smile a woman gets at that knowing, in that remembrance.

Bare feet and nine toes would take her to the fresher, and the next couple of minutes was spent in toiletries. Blue eyes would skim over the large sucken bath. A thought came to mind. Maybe later, she'd muse to herself.

A quick finger comb of her blonde hair would quell their rebellious nature for the present time. Her bangs were an other issue, but it would have to do.

A pause came at her reflection again. This time she couldn't help but smile. Her eyes were bright. Her skin aglow. Tiny patches of red where Soliael's scruff had run across her skin could be seen here and there. Love marks.

How strange.

The fluttery feeling came back to her. In the end, she stuck out her tongue at the woman staring back at her. With a flounce she would turn to get ready and dressed.

He returned a few moments later, an omelet larger than his head on a plate accompanied with a glass of juice, though what fruit it came from he had not identified, suffice it to say it was citrus. He poked his head into the room first, the tray clattering slightly as he found Kira pulling herself into some new clothes. His eyebrow perked slightly, though he didn't object to her dressing.

As much as he wanted to.

Instead he simply smiled and looked at Kira, placing the food onto the bed. “It turned out rather...big.”

He would have to get dressed as well, though undoubtedly he would likely be dreading that when he was in the midst of forging his little project, but such was life. He wondered how long it would take him. He would have to contact Dissero and see what he said about it.

Musing in his head, he waited for her to begin eating.

Kira Talith

“Oh good golly!” Kira would exclaim with surprise and then subsequent excitement. “That is huge!” she’d grin out, walking over to help him by taking the tray from his hands.

“Thank you so much!” a quick kiss to his cheek would relay her pleasure, excitement at the prospect of eating her omelet and Nuna bacon.

“How many Grotros eggs did you use?” she first would ask, turning to go sit down. This quickly would turn into a half stepped back and forth turn as she was indecisive on where exactly to sit. Steam would rise to tickle her nose, the aroma of the omelet having a slightly distinct different scent.

“Wait.. these arn’t Grotos eggs are they?” For a girl who was well used to eating, she picked up on that quickly enough. Finally, she decided to use the bed. It would work. She’d just had to be extra careful.

“No.” Soliael mused as she wandered about the room in indecision. “They're Quor'Sav eggs.”

He looked at her, not sure if she would know what they were. Soliael himself was rather educated in all manner of beasts, after all his mother was the Beastia of Onderon and probably the greatest Beast Master in the entire galaxy. He would have been put to shame if he hadn't known every single common species in the galaxy.

Quietus would have bitten his ears off.

At least.

“They're an avian species, standing at about three and a half meters tall. Not very nice.” He frowned at the last, as if he had first hand experience.

With a shrug he wandered over to the nearby closet, they were in his room after all, and began to clothe himself in more stern attire than he had worn yesterday. This time he adorned a cloak and heavy robes, similar to what he had worn when Kira had first awoken. He would need these to look more official, gather what he needed to carve his little present.

“Quor’Sav?” her ears would perk in piqued interest. “No I haven’t.” but without any less gusto, she began to dig in.

There was no denying that the Lorrdian had a hearty appetite.

Blue eyes would widen in surprise, swallowing before saying “Not too shabby.” she would wave her forth in emphasis -- again the Lorrdian in her.

“Kinda a bit of more of a..” her nose would crinkle as she would try to find the word, watching him get dressed. “..stronger flavor to it.”

“Fancy today, eh?” she’d comment, grinning a bit as she’d continue to eat.

There she sat, cross legged on the bed at she ate, “Not bad, want some?” she’d offer to him from her plate, a bit expectantly and excited as if she really wanted him to try. Granted, this was how she was with food; everything was an experience and she loved trying new things. Although to be frank, he probably had already had it before to begin with.

He took a single bite from her work, chewed, and then simply nodded at her with a smile.

Soliael hadn't really needed to eat, but he had seen the look in her eyes, the joy, the very near pleading expression that told she had wanted him to. Of course he had eaten the same food before, he never would have made it for her if he hadn't, but the expression on her face was worth eating eighteen drexl's whole just to see.

After chewing his food Soliael sat down on the edge of the bed, smiling slightly and closing his eyes in relaxation. He wanted nothing more than to stay with her, to be in bed for the rest of the day with her and just do nothing, but he had something that needed doing. It was important, and it was for her.

His eyes popped open, and he looked over towards her. “Anything else you need?”

She should have everything. Kitchens were down the hall, she knew where the library and training rooms were. The day should be hers entirely to do with as she pleased, and if she just wanted to sleep, well then that was alright as well.

Kira Talith

“Mmhm!” came her silent nod as she would chew another mouthful, having already rewarded Soliael with the biggest grin possible at him taking a bite to eat. Her excitement for the omelet and bacon grew a hundred fold, if that were even possible. But for Kira, it was.

She certainly was an energetic eater.

A fork would gesture in the air again, and after she took a sip of her drink she added, “Yeah, I need to know where your long distance comm room is at.” she told him, cutting up more bitesized pieces of her meal.

“I have to get in touch with the Council -- It’s been too long since I’ve last had contact with them. For all they know I just might be dead.

I never got much out of the folk who took me on to begin with after two Mandos got me out of the Geonosis slave pens.

Everything was kinda a blur after that.” she would point to her head, where under her thick crown of her head, a small scar would be polished and smooth.

“The chip didn’t help matters.”

He took on an inquisitive expression.

“Chip?” He said the wort tentatively, though he already guessed at what it was. Knowing his sister it had been some kind of after-torture that Kira had to bare through. He had seen some of what she had to endure, and some of the aftermath during the meld, but he remembered nothing about a chip.

His brow furrowed still, and he became slightly worried about her, his expression shifting to concern and his eyes becoming worried as he looked at her. Almost as an after though he waved his hand to the right, as if not full filling Kira's request would be some sort of betrayel.

The marble floor in the center of Soliaels room suddenly parted.

The empty room had secrets it appeared, and from a large hole in the floor rose a holo-communications table three paces wide a and four paces across, large enough to convene with an entire council if need be.

Soliael didn't even look at it, instead watching Kira.

His singular question would snap Kira into realizing what she said. Not out of remembrance, but more for Soliael’s sake. Her chewing would slow a bit, and her eyes would fall to her plate. She barely registered the nifty comm area coming out from the ground

One hand would reach out for a crispy slice of Nuna bacon that would soon get stuffed into her mouth.

“Ah…” it wasn’t that she would lie about it. Just that she wasn’t sure how to tell him. Her body language would convey all of this, in half twitches and a fluttering of her hand. In the arch of her brow and subtle nuances of her face.

Well, it wasn’t like she would be able to hide it.

“Nemene…” her fork would shift her food a bit. “Implanted a chip in the old noggin.” A half smile that didn’t reach her eyes and a shrug would follow suit. It hadn’t been pretty. “Guess she was a bit too upset that I wasn’t making any noise for her.

So she made sure I’d remember it all well with it.”

Another shift of her food with her fork.

“That’s why I...when we were playing hide and.. “ she gave a sigh, lips drawing thin. Well that thought process could very well be picked up by him.

A pause.

“Ember got it out though.” her eyes would lift to meet his, as if trying to convey that it wasn’t something to be too freaked about.

Well, at least now. At the time… it had been utterly devastating. Much like a trained lab rab in an experiment, the chip would randomly flash her back to the torture, having her relive every moment again and again.

It was no wonder that when she first met Soliael, she had reacted to him so.
