On the Siege Tower
Siobhan had her own thoughts about the battle of Eriadu, but they were not relevant now. Apparently she had reached the group of Iron Company soldiers and Iron Knights just as HK finished his pep talk, which was perfectly fine with her because she personally really disliked giving speeches. Unfortunately it had been demanded of her a great deal back when she had been Exarch.
"They have yet to build giant mechanical dragons and are incapable of demonic possession," she added just as the droid had finished with his speech, not at all making a slightly sardonic reference to certain events that had transpired during the final battle of Gehenna. "Overwhelmning firepower is key. You've dealt with massed wave assaults and monstrosities before. Kill them all, the Force will know its own. You've seen the images of what happened on Aurum," she added because apparently even she could not resist the urge to make dramatic phrases.
Being an inherently cynical and jaded woman, she had far less faith in the idea of 'protecting the Galaxy' thing. Nor did she particularly care about it much, though equally she could not stay away from the battlefield for long, despite having moved up so high in the world. Their allies were not her usual cup of tea, but the Vong had put Aurum to the torch and nailed anyone they found to crosses, causing desolation of the sort reminiscent of the Bando Gora. She had seen the devastation there and butchered her way through hordes of space orks, beating their dark lord. That made the Moross Crusaders, regardless of what she had heard of them, far more preferrable, as much as she disliked shades of grey, but then she was open about her own lack of righteousness.
Dual MK1 bolters at the ready, she was clad in her custom-made beskar'gam that Ordo had designed for her as part of his deal with Firemane, which had resulted in his clan gaining several shipments of death dealing toys that they would surely soon put to deadly use, though presently she was still holding the helmet, leaving her scarred features open for all to see, long brown hair tied back so that it would not get in the way during the fight that was soon to start. The armour was heavier than she was used to, but she liked the power it had and in any case unless she used the Force she was a good deal less mobile than she used to be, the natural result of having pushed her body so hard in almost two decades of battering ramming.
"Heard I missed some fun on Eriadu. Ready to purge them?" she asked HK as she linked up with the droid. No Firemane mercenary platoon or Eldorai Angelii, just her. It should suffice. "Just like old times."
