{Objective: Infiltrate the Asteroid Base.}

Armed with his own DC-15A, Zaz watched as the shuttle's rear door came open, revealing the harsh vacuum of space. The shuttle hovered over the asteroid and Zaz knew that they had to be quick. "Let's go!" Zaz and his men unloaded onto the Asteroid's metallic surface, as they did two other shuttles followed suit, unloading their payload before quickly maneuvering away from the asteroid. Zaz took a moment to survey the scene before him. Most of the asteroid seemed to be hollowed out in place of a metallic structure. The only visible entrance to said structure stood before them embedded in a hill of rock.

"Blow it." Zaz called over his comm as his men rushed to the blast door. Two of the Legionnaires began to prep thermal charges to breach the door, all the while the rest of the soldiers created a perimeter to protect the explosives and the soldiers who worked with them. Zaz kept his eyes on the space above them, watching closely for any stray vulture droids who may attempt an assault. As planned the enemy ships and droids seemed all too occupied with Bartic's own ships.

"You've got a point. The core isn't too far from here. We should get moving," Cedric muttered in agreement. He turned to forge a path onward through the bushes, only to find himself stopping mid-step. Something drew his attentions from the corner of his eyes. Confused, the youth turned to face that which lingered beyond the trees.

The Archlord registered that the presence he had felt was not from his own eyes, but from the ethereal realm. Once again, the group was being watched, though this time it was a far less malignant force. with a furrowed brow, Cedric waved his red-cloaks aside and turned toward the hiding place of their stalker.

This one was sentient.

"You can come out now. I felt you," he stated plainly, waving with a hand. "You're not hiding very well."

Bhakt Wemk

The Prospective Weapon Master
The Nikto walked on with the group as they trudged deeper into the forest. Now that all the commotion had died down the presence that Bhakt had felt before came back. He now felt out in the force and realized it was extremely close to them, hell it was on top of them practically. Apparently Cedric had felt it to as he could see the young Archlord starring into the distance. The young man then demanded that whoever it was to reveal themselves.

"Ugh, we aren't going to catch a break today are we."

Bhakt didn't level his ax yet, but it did wait in his hands, ready act if this newcomer came for a fight.

The ship shutter violently, it appeared that one of the captains wasn't going to die quietly and rammed the Venator, alarms started going off and the main power briefly flicked off bathing the interior in a dull red light.

Bartic started shouting orders, "ALL AVAILABLE DAMAGE CONTROL TEAMS REPORT TO THE LOWER DECKS! NON ESSENTIAL CREW MOVE TO EVACUATION STAND BY!"

There it was the first big hit of the battle, now that the bottom of the ship was damaged he would need to roll to expose a potion of the ship with undamaged shields and armour.

"Helmsman roll us 180 degrees and expose our dorsal hull to them."

With a smirk and the simple wave of his hand the silhouette of himself returned to nothing but shadow, dissipating like a collection of smoke that had taken the shape of Varus himself. It was a nifty little trick he'd learned in his younger years akin to force projection, which allowed him to play tricks on others who were either dim witted or distracted. This bunch he wouldn't dare to call dim witter, however, for they seemed savvy in their own rights. Distracted was not at all a stretch, however.

"Oh... clearly I've done a poor job of hiding indeed.", he called down to them from above sarcastically as his projected reflection fully dissipated. And there he was, standing there on a sturdy limb, palm grasping the tree trunk he was next to for added balance as he smiled down at them.

"It's a pleasure to meet, you all, but I'm not so sure about the lot of you just yet.", he said as he watched them carefully. "Tell me. Why are you here?"

Shorarri walked past the dying man and rounded the corner. He walked through a door and the hall lights came on. Unfortunately the room he had walked in had five different men. Shorarri roared violently at them and swung at the nearest one. The man's head was lopped off in one fell swoop, but the others charged on. They subdued the Wookiee and confiscated his machete. Shorarri was escorted to the lower decks and thrown into the brig where he was once more reunited with his friend Moe.

"I thought you were dead!" Moe shouted excitedly.

[Not yet] Shorarri replied.

"Hang tight, I gotta plan," Moe whispered to the Wookiee.

Vishkar didn't think he had such power within him the Ithorian's were known for there powerful vocal chords when necessary in their defence, but this wasn't just his mere throats making such a sound.

Then they found that someone was stalking, following them.

Vishkar turned to the sound of the voice of the new stranger that had been chasing them, and his deep black eyes instantly spotted the lightsaber at his side.

Once, he had never even met a jedi. But as soon as he stepped foot on this planet, he felt the... The Force, and had now met two force wielders who possessed the power and light swords of their own. This was a day like no other.

He said nothing as he watched the strange, for he could not speak for his new allies. He just stood by in silence.

"Evidently so," Cedric mused, though he did not share the stranger's easygoing attitude. He felt nothing but good intentions from the man; his island was one steeped in the Ashla. Even still, individuals of a similar creed had brought about the tragedy on Atrisia.

He wasn't going to be letting his guard down just yet.

"Searching for the source of this corruption. The clans have asked us to put an end to it. Judging by those hounds, I'd say it's spread pretty deeply." The Archlord explained. There was no harm in telling the stranger their situation, even if the youth was wary of the tree-swinging blonde.

Gray eyes flickered to [member="Vishkar"] and [member="Bhakt Wemk"], as if asking for their opinions. "We can't remain for long. This all needs to be cleansed as soon as possible."

Bhakt Wemk

The Prospective Weapon Master
Bhakt took in the look of the new comer. He was clearly a force user and even spied a lightsaber at his side. He could't sense any darkness in the man, only a radiant light.

"Hmmm well that's up to him. If you want to help feel free. If you're just here to watch us, then don't get in our way."

Bhakt lowered his ax fully figuring he wouldn't need it at the moment. He had to admit it the man has used a neat trick to sneak up on them. They probably would have never actually spotted him if he hadn't dropped the illusion. Bhakt felt a bit out of place again. He still had so far to go before he was anywhere near the level of this man. Bhakt almost laughed at himself, at the thought he could take the man on with his ax. He'd probably get blown away with a thought.

"Doing favors for the Natives, then, are we?", he called down his question as he raised his hands and crossed them over his chest. Then, in one good leap, he hopped down from the branch he was upon towards one about halfway down the tree he was on. "And why, in the name of the First Order, would you concern yourself with another man's problems?", he asked as he glanced over to another limb level to the one he was on. He hopped over to it in yet another single bound, landing lightly on it and gathering his balance easily enough.

"They paying well, or are you stockpiling debts?", he asked as he looked out across the land towards the corruption of which they spoke. In that moment he'd decided he would follow along with them, not needing permission, of course. He seriously doubted any of them would be able to bar him from shadowing their group anyhow. After all, this was a great opportunity to see a good show. Maybe he'd even get to watch someone die if they weren't careful enough.

The sound of an explosion echoed around Zaz and his men. He turned to see the blast doors had been ripped from their place on the face of the asteroid and passage was now accessible to him. Leading the charge the Mandalorian brought his rifle up as he moved through the doors and into the main hall. He marched down the hall until finally coming to a three-way split down the path. Using his left hand he gestured down the corresponding hall, ordering his men as he did. "Squad one, take the left."

"Squad two, the right." Again a hand came up to usher the men towards their objective. As the two squads split from the main force Zaz glanced back to see the ten soldiers still awaiting his orders. "Squad three, with me." Again he began his march, however it was short lived. As he stepped forward he could hear the sound of rushed footsteps, hurrying down the long halls. It was not until a small force of pirates came down the hall that Zaz opened fire. Discharging his weapon he watched as the first attacker was struck in the chest, falling to the ground limp. "Take them out!" He called, as his blaster fire was joined by that of his men.

Ra had no weapons she was familiar with enough to use against the creatures and their hit and run tactic was too quick for her to do any good anyway. Her lack of training in the force also kept her from using that against them. However, the Ithorian had a plan of his own and warned them another scream was incoming. She huddled down, covering her ears for the attack and was glad to not again be on the receiving end of it. Though she protected herself, when it was over, her ears were ringing slightly and felt like they needed to pop.

Working her jaw to pop them, a form appeared above them. It must have been the person she had felt earlier, but could not identify. After a short conversation, he jumped to the ground and joined their circle on its way to a corruption that even Ra can now feel more clearly. It felt like poison. She wasn't sure if it had happened naturally or from the actions of somebody or a group. They would learn when they got there.

Her eyes looked upon [member="Varus Shatterstar"] and Ra could tell he would make a good ally. He might be cocky, but he was good. She already liked him. Inside, she gave a half smile and returned her attention to [member="Cedric Grayson"] with a question in her eyes.

"Just how do you plan to cleanse the corruption if we don't know what it is yet?"

"Battle stations!" Julie ordered while the pirates have opened fire.

"Take off under cloak, pick your target, decloak as close as you can and launch a heavy proton torpedo at point-blank range!"

On Iiytania, Yula didn't even fly a single combat sortie; that was going to change. From experience, she knew that pirates preferred to have ships with greater ability to carry their poodoo than a fighter could, so she would not expect fighters, just that light freighters in squadrons of 4-6 would do the trick. Also, if her experience on Elom is any indication, one well-placed heavy proton torpedo can do short work of a light freighter. Assuming, of course, that Neimoidian Yachts were actually typical of the freighters used by the pirates in terms of hull durability. She found herself with a YT-1300 firing missiles at her, under cloak, forcing her to attempt evasive maneuvers, like a hard turn/loop. Time to decloak and fire at the closest YT-1300 straggler, she thought, while realizing that each different model formed its own squadron here, and firing at one of the wingmen while also realizing that the wingmen began to fire the quad lasers at her. Once again, it's all about evasive maneuvers until she can fire at that YT-1300, albeit at less than optimal angles. Meanwhile, the TIE Reavers are conducting an attack run on the enemy flagship, dropping heavy bombs on the ernemy frigate.

The sight of sentient life came into view, the grouping of individuals all bearing means to kill. The wayward soul listened, watching from a short distance just behind a grouping of trees. "...Hmmm." Just as the thought of advancing upon the peculiar party in question sprouted, an unwelcome presence chanced upon the former Sith, growling menacingly and radiating a rather potent signature within the Force, one dark and malformed with predatory instinct. But with little effort, Abraxas caught the beast quite swiftly, even for his hulking demeanor due to his armor.

"...Pest." Squeezing the cowardly creature whom desired to best its would-be target by the throat, Abraxas then skewered it through the belly with his greatsword. Sanguine spilled unto the soil as the corrupted wildlife wailed in agony, flecking leaves and parts of tree trunks with evidence of murder - or rather, self-defense. Dropping the corpse to the forest floor, the darkly clad slayer turned his attention back to the crowd he was spying on, now attempting to make himself quite known through verbal interaction.

"...I've found you. I could smell you, taste your life amidst the foul corruption twisting this land..."

Coagulating blood dripped from Abraxas' rather large sword as he raised it effortlessly at the group. "I taste the Light of Jedi..."

Whether this was a direct threat would be up for interpretation. Abraxas did not engage the strangers any further than such.

With seven squadrons of light freighters, most of which can be swatted out of space with a few well-placed turbolaser shots, it's no wonder the pirates assigned to this base could fall somewhat easily. Once again, she shows that she can use the cloaking device effectively; these pirates are not used to facing such enemies attempting to catch them. Already she scored a sixth kill in her life as a Sith ace: it wasn't that much of a stretch to shoot down a seventh but fighting a pair of CR90 corvettes that attempt to flank the Luminole was not going to be easy. Up to this point, the CR90 Yula is closing in on has six triple turbolasers, four point-defense emplacements, so aiming for the engine section, that is the rear joint, and launching one missile apiece was going to cause some serious damage to the enemy corvette. Sure, it may not destroy it outright, but it will certainly make the Luminole's job easier once its mobility is reduced.

"I represent the Dominion. My companions are members of its Jedi Order. The clans asked us to solve this problem, and so we have come."

The answer was a rather simple one. Cedric peered at the stranger curiously, though not unwarily. He had little love for particularly cocky individuals, but then making a judgement so soon was a bit premature. He assessed the man with his eyes, appraising the way he stood and observing the way he spoke. The stranger did not come off with any hostile air, though Cedric was not sure what he truly was within the Great Ocean. He felt natural, and then artificial all the same.

"I have an idea as to what it might be Ra, but I have to see it up close."

His lips parted to speak further, but the presence of another drew his attentions. The words spoken by this figure made his blood run cold; it was a voice Cedric recognized. He had heard it speak its peace back on Neelgaimon some time ago.

"We thought you'd died Abraxas," the youth muttered, his brow furrowing. "Are you here seeking the Dread Seed?"

"Everbound's been hit!" Pixie reported.

It was as Yula predicted: the first pass was not enough to destroy the corvette. Because they approached the corvette from starboard, and the corvette was flanking the Luminole's starboard side, one of the port batteries of the corvette shot down one of Yula's wingmen - it seems that in each and every sortie, her squadron always loses somebody. Tastidian on Aargonar, Everbound here on Irn. But such was the nature of large-scale warfare. She simply flashed by but the time it took to cross the Luminole's width was too short for cloaking, so the squadron remained de-cloaked for the next pass around the other corvette. By then the corvette's explosion made the crew of the Luminole happier, when the nine remaining pilots of Sith Hunter Squadron opened HVC fire on the starboard batteries in an attempt to soften up the target for the Luminole to fight. Now that they have closed in on the enemy frigate...

"Fire torpedoes on the enemy aft joint!"

Varus was about to say something when yet another individual appeared, and when he did, he felt a similar uncertainty about the being... creature... whatever it was. It had a menacing appearance, and it didn't much seem friendly at all. In truth, it was part of the reason that he became a bit more hesitant in that moment while watching the exchange. Clearly Jedi those days weren't worrying to take care in who's company they kept. Or, perhaps Varus was judging a little too quickly and a little too harshly.

He hopped up to another branch and perched as he did before, watching, listening and waiting...

Deadeye

Ressurected by a cult
The chieftains line was failing and the bombers had just destroyed communication with the fleet that was supposed to help them, the location of reinforcements was unknown and this town was a warzone. The buildings were crumbling on top of the chieftain and his men.
A man in a black cloak and Mandalorian armor clambered over debris and into the street.
"Hey, if we survive this, I want triple."
"Sure," a proton torpedo hits nearby and the pair dodge it, "we can pay you more than that! Deadeye!"
The man laughed the jetpacked onto a roof quickly and fired his blaster pistols into the oncoming force. Deadeye shot into the attackers as explosions went off around him. he jumped and dodged one.
The battlefield got quiet of the attackers end, as the defending chieftain, his troops, and the bounty hunter opened fire into the crowd of enemies.
The attacking force began to scream and retreat into some nearby woods as a line of blaster fire came from the town. 1000 troopers marched into the town and cleared it. Captain wills approached the chieftain.
"I'm Captain Wills of The Dominion Storm Corps, this is the 2nd Harris Attack Battalion. We are your reinforcements."
