Weekend Treasure Hunt 1: Derelict -- Winner Take All (contest finished)

Airlocks

Couldn't help it grabbing her gear of not only her leather bag that was full of herbs and seedlings. Pulling on her full shadow armor(see profile) With that she would keep her lightsaber. On her belt on her waste but then there was more then one hidden on herself. Looking at both of the guards with her. Asking if they was coming shaking there heads. Find just remember some rules don't touch anything on the ship, really don't want to explain why my guards die because couldn't follow orders. after all there was more to her ship. All the plants and creatures that ran about it make it seem more like a piece of home. Wild some of the living plants was but not so much if one knew how to handle them.

As the ramp lowered she couldn't help but call in the force to her little AKk dog not like most full grown adult dogs this one could fit into places. Taking off in the way of the force feeling at less two life forms. Wondering jut what kind that would be if they was part of the ship or there was ones that came aboard. It seem that this ship was eye candy to some.

Flowing along as she did seeing that the lights had be flickering but then out again. Finding herself slowly gathering up the force that would aid if need to be for now being who she was not one to attack but defence only. Flashing her eyes but also listening down the hallway...

Greetings....Greetings.... after all she didn't want to make herself look like she would shoot first ask question later that was just her nature. Maybe why she got into so much trouble all the time.

Well this was one way for Ayden to get to see another layer of Cira. But that would have to wait. She followed pursuit, if with a bit of a smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth.

Into the shuttle she went, quickly finding her own seat. When Ayden told her to brace herself she did, she wasn’t going to argue.

Stars knew what lay within that ship --- it was best to leave as soon as possible.

And soon, the hum of engines and drive of the throttle began just that.

Who was the primary charge? The Mandalorians? The Republic? The Levantines? Valik phrased his next words very carefully.

//Systematic threat still exists due to boarding occupants of varying backgrounds and unidentified intent. Recommend purging occupants, jumping to hyperspace at unknown location. Can assist.//

Well this was new. Perhaps a type of AI? She quickly typed in the following.

// To obtain knowledge. Preserve it in security. Prevent proliferation of dangerous knowledge. // that was the over all code of the Order of Selab.

She could only hope that whoever made this AI had inputting the Order’s directive. She entered what would identify a member of the order.

//Many roots and many leaves draw strength to a single tree, under whose branches all may take shelter, and all may eat of its fruit. //

After that, she entered the following directive.

// Deactivate the security shields of the two holocrons within this vault. //

"KARK!" Ayden roared as he threw the ship into a spin and sent it flying in the most erratic way he could without snapping his neck. He sincerely hoped that Cira had taken his advice and secured herself, because this was not something he was going to be able to keep up for long. Reaching up, Ayden opened up the com to a secure channel. "Some backup would be appreciated." Just as he got the message out, one of the ion bolts struck the port-side engine. With such a reduction in mobility, the next strike was all but assured and sent the dropship flying off into space without power.

Deciding there was nothing better to do, Ayden unstrapped from the pilot's chair and floated back to check on Cira.

Ayra lifted her gaze slightly in the disturbance of the force. Death. A shiver ran down her spine. Something was wrong here.

If it wasn't enough already.

"No choice," she thought. "Through the vent." She force leaped up the grates and landed in the ventilation system. She began to crawl her way towards Romeo, leaving a trail of blood from her leg, which pained her due to the piece of metal in there. But if she was to remove it then she would bleed out, which was unacceptable. All that Darth Ayra knew was she had to get out of the Scion as fast as possible.

Ayumi looked at the man she was goign to call Chase.... he just had an air about him while she gave a nod of her head and moved to cover him. Whatever was here she was now scanning and working to keep up her awareness but everything going on seemed to be chaotic. At least to her, usually deralicts had more visible damage or bodies of crew which only pushed her paranoia that this was a trap further along. Then the comlink chirped that someone was talking and she listened and heard someone speaking in the distance. Ayumi spoke. "Hey Chase, someone is over here." Ayumi kept her eyes trained for him but was also stopping putting another marker pointing towards the hallway she had come from. With it and the other she could for now at least find her ship again. "Who is there?"

A dangerous question. If the ship had files on Valik he'd be easily identified for his potential. On the other hand publicly Valik might be known as the created of the Bobison, or a few Santhe Designs. Pharmetch identification should be impossible at this point. The Bard however, was presumably it's programmer . . . . perhaps the Bard had a good opinion of him. Or at least a respectable opinion. Read to begin a slicing session if necessary he typed in his response.

And where were the spiders
Marek Starchaser looked at the derelict Scion. it seemed that there was definitely a group at work here. he was going to have to make a note of which ships were here. And really, he looked to his astromech to do just that. Log the ships, their registries and see who he could sort out. All of these people knew one another. With his Vagrant Wind idling outside the larger ship, he was just watching and sensing the fight going on within.

There were some heavy hitters in there, and Marek wasn't the type to get in over his head. He thought he recognized some ships, but that was honestly just the models.

Pulling up another screen and logging into the secure Confederate channel, he started to send off a message to tag this ship and location. The ships that were gathered? He wasn't sending their information, that he was going to keep for himself. He was going to track these people down, and see what he could learn from them, y'know, in passing and all. Nothing too full bore.

There was something about this ship, and he was going to remain in orbit of it, just in case something happened and someone needed a rescue. Hell, they wanted to be the heroes and rush into something that may or may not be pressurized or a death trap? That was all fine by him. He'd just watch, and hope to the Force he could charge someone for rescue fee, fuel was fuel.

And sure, he had the Techno Union profits, but staying rich was also a result of being frugal.

This.. wasn’t going to be good.

Identify? Oh by Kalahira’s hem!

Fingers went tapping through the holographic keyboard. Well… had to try something.

//Have three Vapor Warheads filled with aerosolized poison not curable through conventional means. Each with a rough area of effect of 100m^3. Detonating all three while allowing air circulation and restricting access off the ship with Beskar Blast Doors would make the poison permeate for hours, ensuring no breath control shenanigans preventing exposure.//

...a thin smile began to spread across Ronan's mouth as he gained access to the database and downloaded a basic, local, map of the derelict starship before his pleasant mood stiffled and Ronan looked back over his shoulder. If there was one thing Ronan didn't care for it was nicknames and if there was another it was surprises which meant that as Ayumi called out and informed him that they had company he would have stood straight while removing his datapad from the port in the hallway. Once the datapad was successfully removed Ronan would replace it on the right arm of his armor and then turn to move back towards the room where he could make the acquaintance of their new arrival...

...Ronan hadn't spoken however when he came back into the room he'd have heard Ayumi ask who was there before he turned his attention towards her...
"We know we're not the only ones here now."...a prospect which didn't exactly sit well with the Assassin..."We need to move quickly."...then he would produce a data stick, which had copies of the local map on it, and hand it over to Ayumi. Looking at her he'd have explained..."It has everything you need to find your way around as well as my comm frequency."...then he would begin to back away, looking towards the direction where the voice had comes from, Ayumi could share this information with the new arrival as well ensuring they could act as a trio instead of a duo...

...all that done Ronan would access his datapad, read the map, and decide that it might be prudent to explore the upper levels. It appeared there may have been an emergency stairwell nearby. Taking one last look at Ayumi he said...
"If you get into trouble radio me. I'll attempt to assist. Keep in contact."...then he was gone, down the hallway, where he would disappear out of sight as the Camouflage Armor took effect again...

...as for Maya Whitelight, Ronan didn't know who she was, but if she identified herself using the...deplorable nickname Ayumi had given him...he would assist her as well...

Getting to the front of the ship, moving towards the vault.

Siobhan had gotten some breathing space after having telekinisced all over the place, though for a change without causing any damage to the structural integrity of the ship due to the sheer awesomeness of Mandalorian iron. Speaking of which, Siobhan really wanted a ship made out of it as well!

The torrent of lightning had cast the dark corridor in a blue-white light as it shrieked from her hands to blast what turrets remained. In the distance she could hear noise. More Force presences. Then it seemed that the ship's guns were firing, but she had no time to focus on that. Her left leg hurt like the dickins from the blunt trauma caused by the impact of the double-barelled SAW rounds. Given her armour it had been like being hit by an automatic club. She dragged herself along with a limp, leaning strongly on her bionic leg even as she drew upon the Force to still and stifle the pain.

The hall was lined with bullet-ridden corpses, some of which had been literally crushed and freed of their limbs. Suddenly thick clouds of gas were spewed from the vents and filled the hall, enveloping it. Siobhan recognised it as Forcebreaker gas. Fortunately she was wearing a helmet and as such did not have to hold her breath, though before she adjusted her vision mode the thick cloud was disorientating.

What was more of an annoyance were the two super astromech droids that suddenly turned up. Siobhan almost felt like laughing because, really, astromech droids! Pride comes before the fall and so she paid the price for underestimating the most dangerous anti-boarding droids ever as suddenly without a warning their paralysis beams were fired. She had perceived a warning through the Force in the nick of time and managed to dodge the first, but the second grazed her already damaged arm, which gave up the ghost.

She cried out and in this moment omnidirectional sonic projectors flared to life. Of the two weapons that worked best against forcers, one was the boltgun with its variations, the other a sonic projector. It was ironic that someone who liked her fancy, anti-force user gadgets as much as Siobhan now found herself on the receiving end of one. Sensations of pain shot through her, her eardrums felt like they were about to burst as blood seeped out and amidst the omnidirectional sonic projection she found it hard to concentrate as the Force refused to respond to her.

Shaken she dropped to her knee, then violently lashed out like a wounded animal. The air currents around the droids suddenly shifted and in a flash both were gripped tight and thrust into the air, invisible fingers curling around them in a merciless grip. Violently she spun them around and then smashed them against one another with tremendous speed, unleashing her rage. There was a powerful blast and both of the astromech droids were nothing but ripped pieces of scrape, broken metal and circuitry that clattered to the ground with a satisfying crunch.

Siobhan got to her feet, feeling shaky and taking a breath. Due to her intense annoyance she grabbed a piece of wrecked droid and threw it against the wall. Then she walked on down the corridor. Unbeknownst to her she was getting closer towards a vault. Who knew what manifold dangers lurked there. Well, the Game Master ([member="Rave Merrill"]) did!

The droids were coming back, and his body was now shivering...
-What was that? Damn it droids..-
He had no choice but to fight. He quickly spun around from the chair.blasting them back with the force. They went flying into the back wall hitting the blast door. The turret turned its barrels to him. He was getting tired, and his flip away from the bolts from the turret struck the his leg, causing him to fall to the ground.
-Think, Romeo Think!!!-
He yes one last trick up his sleeve, this would tire him out with the use of his powers. He reached out with both hands as he laid on the floor, and twisted the barrels away towards the droids, the firing decimated them. He stood up in a limp bracing himself against the wall, and began to rip it off the ceiling. Finally it lodged off, and fell to the ground, firing off its last few shots into the blast door.
-So..tired..- he was breathing heavy now, and was drenched in sweat.
He heard Alicia coming from the Vents, and limped over to them.
"Let me help you out." He said as he noticed the blood oozing from her leg.
-she's gonna die if its not sealed.-
He removed his mask, he was trusting this woman, he wanted to genuinely help her, and hoped she could see that.
"Your wound, let me fix it...or else you're going to die." He breathed out heavily, and lifted his arms up for her if she decided to take him up for his help out.
