The crew was scrambling to get the explosives planted per the order of Master Ru, and she had taken it upon herself to range forward along the bridge to ensure they’d be able to do so without impediment. But no sooner had she moved than the shouts and gunfire had intensified and exploded through her senses. Faster than she should have been able to, Marakai whirled around and ran back towards the entrance, claws digging furrows into the wooden structure for added traction.

But she would never get there fast enough.

Somehow, in the midst of laying down his life, one of the troopers shouted across the comm for her to jump. She had no time to think, the Force had already started screaming in shrill warning. There was a glance, a swift nod, and then the detonation.

Launching herself through the branches, her feline form crashed through the smaller ones, while claws grabbed at anything with substance in her mad dash. There was no small amount of the Force being employed as she willed the branches to hold her, dodging what she could from the Death Splinter Shower that went in every direction. She would mourn Eddic later, for now, she had to simply make it across to the Eastern bridge.

With any luck the Molotov bridge bits would impale at least a few of those foul things climbing the trunks of the massive wroshyyr trees. Not just the tail of a fleeing hybrid kitty who was doing her best Tarzan impression just then.

The influence of [member="Aaralyn Rekali"] and her battle meditation was a boon, and the Knight was grateful for it.

Marakai made it to the narrow Eastern bridge in a less than elegant fashion, growling with an indignant tone at having her tail look like a pin cushion with splinters. Wasn’t that frakking fantabulous. Partially shifting one of her paws back into a misshapen hand, she plucked them out, senses on high alert. It didn’t take long, mercifully, and she took up a guard position on the bridge itself, allowing the warmth and light of the Force to fill her.

The Jedi Shadow armor and robes afforded to him by Kian Karr before the Invasion got underway would have to do for now...

Varus had been planning his first big vacation from the Jedi Temple he'd called home for more than a year in the recent weeks. He'd planned to tour a few planets under the guise of an explorer or tourist in search of specific items like Phrikite and Cortosis ore. He had already drawn together plans for his own, custom fitted armor that he was planning on shaping and molding to the schematics he'd constructed. That was going to take time, a lot of hard work and sweat to piece together, however, and unfortunately, when he'd become a Jedi, time was one of the things that hadn't at all become more affordable for him.

Boots clinked against the platform beneath him as he approached Kian, a Kel Dor who had been his Master only months ago before his promotion to Knight. He stopped next to the man, the black hood of his cloak catching a draft and rising up off of his head only to drift down and lay upon his shoulders. He glanced up slightly as it fell from the top of his head and displayed a half frown, but he didn't bother to pull it back up as he turned and looked over at Kian.

"Long time...", Varus said, smirking lightly as he turned and looked out over the tops of the trees, the horizon as magnificent as it had always been on Kashyyyk. It had been fortunate that the Sith presence there hadn't warped the natural beauty of the wild and well forrested planet. It's consmetic appeal was still living and breathing among the plant life and wildlife, which gave the planet it's beating heart. It thrived off of the force, and the native Wookiee deserved liberation from their oppressive Sith rulers.

"Where are your students?", Varus asked the Master curiously, knowing that of all the Jedi Masters, Kian had been one who much preferred to keep his apprentices close in case they were in need of protection.

Thane launched into space with the rest of the XJ-9 fighters. Coming into attack formation, the units raced towards the enemy ships.

Today would be exhausting, Faye could already tell. This was not her first experience fighting as part of the One Sith war machine, but this would be her first against a formidable opponent. The Dominions of Sev Tok and Erida served more as preparation against her first battle against the Republic, seeing that small planetary governments and pirates served little in the realm of warfare. Knowing this, she had spend the last few days in transit as the fleet made it's way to Kashyyyk. During that time, much of it was engulfed in meditation, melee training, and a study of the known objective. Certainly the Wookiees would not take kindly to an invasion fleet, and neither would the peace-loving Jedi and Republic forces.

The descent into the atmosphere was bumpy, but the dropship had cloth tethers decorated across the ceiling for such an occasion. Faye had opted for the standard infantry armor, minus the helmet. The painted camouflage was trivial in the environment, but it posed as a much safer option than no armor. Eventually, she would build her own though. Cheers and battlecrys were murmured among the one Sith infantry she boarded with. Brags about their previous battles and what upholstery wookiee fur was good for, all of it idle chitchat. Faye abstained from it, and instead enjoyed a cigarette in the serene moment before fighting. There were explicit signs saying 'NO SMOKING' but no one dared to enforce it today.

The teenager had stuck alongside [member="Darth Venefica"] 's squad, one which she was now learning their names of, having fought alongside them on Sev Tok. Before the fighting began, Faye dusted the ember off of the cigarette on her armor and tucked the half smoked cancerstick behind her ear. A small skirmish posed no thread, but the second attack on the squad posed much more dangerous. They were sitting ducks, but the squad's commander, Venefica, did not hesitate.

Faye formed up infront of the group, igniting her lightsaber to reveal a fresh crimson glow. She peered back to Nightshade squad, feeling enough comfort to leave her back exposed to them. Blaster fire had begun to sprinkle the group, and she tried her best to volley away the blaster bolts. She was not trained enough to deflect them back to their owners, but enough to protect the soldiers. Now it was up to the Acolyte and Knight to eliminate the threat.

Krest stood a top the wall, still looking around at the potential battle front he was on. Graug had turrets set up, guns primed. The six hundred located at the top and around the wall were more then ready to defend. The other fourteen hundred Graug stood below him, hungry for orders. Then, a top the wall a Sith came. But Krest was no Jedi, neither for the Republic or the Ession. With a faint smile he would turn his gaze to [member="Meric Nadun"] , offering a nod. "Good to see one not here to kill us. What do you have?"

Location: Stronghold, one of the branches

Allies: [member="Matsu Xiangu"], [member="Harley"], [member="Cryax Bane"], [member="Darth Adekos"], @Xenia Natassia, [member="Reverance"]
Enemies: [member="Kana Truden"], [member="Flint Dexen"], the Republic

Merely flashing a smile at Cryax's comment she shook her head, scanning the expanse of forest that sprawled out before them. It seemed navigation wouldn't be too difficult, to a point. There were plenty of access points, which was both a good and a bad thing. Good for them, as they would have multiple options in case one strategy went awry, but also detrimental at the same time, with their adversaries being able to coordinate and attack from numerous different angles. Of course, it didn't seem as if any of her allies were worried about a few Jedi. Nor was she. One way or another, this battle would come to its eventual turning point, and she intended to be on the winning side.

There was plainly something he wasn't telling her, but Keira wouldn't prod for the moment. Now wasn't the time to focus on just what was weighing on his mind. One way or another he would either tell her later, or she'd figure it out on her own time. Right now was their time to focus on the task at hand which was, for her, protecting Cryax from any and all dangers. "That's not all of it, and you can bet you're telling me later." There was a teasing glint to her eyes. "But for now we have to see about that match."

Stepping out onto the branches she kept her pace slow, more due to the fact that she had to wait for Cryax than anything. Otherwise she would have taken off just as quickly as Reverance had, wasting no time in reaching their ultimate destination. "You coming?" The mostly rhetorical inquiry was directed towards Cryax, and she didn't wait for a reply, instead spending the next few moments scanning the surrounding area with the Force more than anything, unsurprised as she touched on a number of light presences nearby, with the familiar dark ones that burned like an ember closer at hand.

Soon enough they would be engaging, and she didn't want to miss a moment of it. But her duty to the Red Ravens came first, so she grudgingly stayed put for the moment.

Well, so far so good. He was a bit surprised that they weren't trying to maul him, but at the same time he felt some of those in the vicinity weren't exactly pure of form, either. In the future these people would likely be enemies, but for now the true enemy was the One Sith. They were the most dangerous force in the galaxy and it was for them that he had come here. This battle had been seen by him, and now it was his duty to see to it that this world didn't fall into their hands. Not only that, but he needed to ensure that many of them died.

"I have the Force. I have knowledge. I have power. I have the desire to crush the One Sith."

He didn't afford a single glance towards the one that spoke to him.

"Keep your troops back until I am finished or they will perish as well."

NPCS BEHIND COVER AT STAGING POINT.

Another three GU 52 primeval drop barges hit the ground and another one hundred and sixty eight Kaalonian warriors deposited out of the ships and onto the forest grounds of the planet. They had a job to do and it was to set up a contingency plan in case the one sith attack failed, the rat folk made howls of battle and began their work. Over three hundred men of Kaalonia began to dig a massive hole in the ground by the drop point. The natural burrowers moved with haste to dig into the earth. Muddy clumps of dirt began to fling up from the ground and the process had officially begun.

DREDGE/ NPC FORCES

As dredge climbed higher and higher he moved up the trees and besides him were his men, the fierce monsters of the primeval. They were to kill and slaughter all that stood in their way, the Jedi could not protect this world. It would fall like all else beneath the might of the Yuuzhan Vong and Sith. With each pull up dredge got closer and closer to his target, he was in a steady pace and he intended to reach the tops soon so he could kill the filth above. Inch by bloody nail pulling inch he grew closer to his target.

However before that could happen a road block entered his path, a Jedi knight that seemed to think he could stand in the face of Dredge. That he was more than just scum beneath his boot, he would need to be educated at once. The Jedi sliced down a few Graug and their burning hot corpses dropped and began to fall towards the ground. Dredge roared and his slow pace turned to a fevered frenzy at the sight of his men dying at the hands of weak Jedi. With a leap upwards dredge grabbed the bark and continued leaping and latching until he pulled himself up on a branch near the Jedi letting his men catch up to him. The branch he stood on was about as thick as a small park bridge and extended maybe twenty five yards. It would serve for executing the Jedi filth.

Reaching behind him Dredge drew the massive sith sword of Vulcanus and held it with both hands firmly, the monster and killer of billions stood upright and soon a wookie charged him swinging from a vine as he fired his bowcaster. Dredge simply raised his hand and shot forth a lance of fire that enveloped the wookie turning the once living fuzz ball into a heap of falling flaming corpse. Dredge looked to the Jedi and spoke in his inhuman voice.

"You will die Jedi, run now and I may only kill your family." Dredge said with his booming voice

Fire began to glow off him as the darkside nexus that was his armor and sword began to pump his veins with power. Red hot flames crackled off him and he was ready to do battle with the Jedi. He was perhaps one of the most powerful pyromancers in the galaxy and Krag's memories had taught him well. Bellow the Graug and Vong began to mount their own branches now outnumbering the Wookies three to one, blaster bolts and bio rounds flew through the air as both sides light up in a light show of explosions and blood. And at the center of it would be Dredge and this Jedi

There were screams everywhere around her, fires, flailing men and women plummeting to their deaths when they ran over the edge of the wide branch. It was a mess, a veritable carnage — a carnival of death, almost — and Vrag was keeping well away from it, watching the slaughter from afar as the vanguards of both their forces clashed for the first time.

What little light filtered through the humbling foliage of the wroshyr trees was blotted out by the Sith ships circling high up in the air, and the firrerreo’s heart grew warm at the sight at the swarm of dropships that kept bringing in new reinforcements, bolstering their ranks in spite of the forces they lost every minute to enemy fire and other damage sources.

She threw a quick eye over the troops she’d assumed control of, a platoon of some hundred (100) men that had all gone through the rigorous training of the One Sith army. It was a small comfort to have so many top-grade soldiers at her side, and the woman easily blended in with her own form being concealed by her usual armor. They were advancing towards the fortress in tight formation, carefully staying out of the initial massacre closer to the gates of the stronghold.

Moving towards stronghold, keeping out of range for now.

Anastasia came from a culture built upon war. They had prepared her for this and to be able to exact revenge upon those whom had taken so much from her and the Jedi. It hadn't been too long ago in which the Sith had taken one of the Republic's worlds. It wasn't a Mandalorian planet but all the same it had mattered after all it meant the Sith were getting stronger. This they couldn't stand for or have.

This planet wasn't her home but all the same it had forests and greenery all around. She wouldn't no, couldn't just stand around and watch it all burn to the ground. Ana would make the Sith regret coming here. The City would not fall to the Sith today or any day not while she was still here guarding it.

It was time for revenge for her childhood, for the death of Gil, all of it. The Sith would pay for it all. After one of the Jedi, whom she didn't know the name of, gave a lovely speech she had her Lightsaber in her hand as the Pink Mando dispersed with the others to protect what was theirs.

"Ahh. Fancy Sith magics eh?" Krest could only chuckle. This was war, always those who figured themselves gods. He did once upon a time, till he died. But he would offer a slight nod to the words none the less. "They'll stay back for the moment, but they hunger." With a turn of his head he would look to his second, nodding once.

"Split the forces. Find an easily defened place, and be ready to box them in." A quick now would be seen before the second moved off. The horde behind the wall would split, taking the long way around. It would take a while for them to come, and all they had to do was hold the line.

Carach would have pondered about the sudden defenses popping out on the beach, such instantaneous service, quite handy. Would have pondered if not for a different philosophical discussion currently raging within the small confines of his admittedly limited mind. It was the question of nature versus nurture, and while he could bloviate endlessly about such distinctions, he wouldn't.

Simply because the Grain answered for him, he could practicly feel the hatred, anger and above all hunger permeating from them. A thick metaphorical cloud hanging heavy over them in anticipation for the current battle, and so it was that Darth Carach, Voice of the Dark Lord and co-sinker of Auto City did not spend his time creating some kind of uberpowerful construct of pure destructive awesomeness, neither did he spend time waxing on and off in lyrical prose with his apprentice, instead gesturing towards [member="Qun Vell"] a request for patience.

No, what he did was far more simply. Carach posed a question and a preposition to the Graug, incidently it was the same question he had once posed to [member="Matsu Xiangu"] at their first meeting.

Whilst Carach's workings were largely subtle in nature and no big force usage would be noticeable, there is one question the Army of Light and perhaps the Republic should ask itself. Is it a smart idea to have close to ten thousand warriors, who were not particularly hard to influence with the allure of the Dark side, have them within and on the walls of the city you were trying to protect? Especially when you were up against a Mentalist?

A question worth pondering.

Uneasiness would stir within Kira's breast, giving Sol a weak smile as he helped her down.

"Thanks..." she bit her lip, then went looking out towards the beach. The enemy forces were coming; and despite the speech she gave, she couldn't help but tighten her grip upon Sol's gauntleted hand. His worry would stir her own.

"Please... be careful," she would turn up to tell him. Her shoulders would straighten, a sense of purpose came to her then.

Right!

"Okay...I'm ready." she said, more to herself. Taking a deep breath, she'd narrow her eyes at what was to come. Just like in Metalorn, the tiny Lorrdian was here to tackle folks and take names!

Armand looked up to the top of the giant Wroshyr tree which shielded them. He could see nearly thousand Graug atop of the defensive wall of wood that circled around the top of the tree.
There were also nearly two thousand Graug down on the ground by now. He could hear the rumble of battle and clang of men and machines.

With the help of some Wookie medics, Armand directed that a medical tent be set up at on the wall, in the core of the Tree to be reserved for the gravest of injuries,
and at the bottom level where he now stood. He helped two Wookie doctors erect a makeshift structure using wooden poles and tarps. Inside the medical tent they quickly assembled a supply station and cots in case wounds required rest or emergency surgery. The Graug were primitive and reptilian but they were living creatures who would bleed and suffer if not cared for like any other human or near-human species would.

Lacking time to respond to the Padawan's bow, he took shelter behind the curving sideguards of a walltop turret as the thud bug rain began. The biotic projectiles could crack bones, pulp organs, break skulls. He had no intention of weathering that particular storm until necessary, especially since it had been a very long time since he could claim expertise in Force shields. The wall shook with long-range Vong bombardment; stonework cracked under his feet, forcing him to adopt a mobile, balanced stance he'd learned from Darron Wraith in years gone by. A thud bug ricocheted into his cover and met a snap-hiss of blue plasma; his sabre caught another, then a third, then more, working a defensive pattern straight out of Soresu. The pattern lasted long enough for him to glimpse Master Sochi Ru down on the bridge in front of the gate. A thousand Republic troopers, plenty of Wookiees on katarns, enough odds and ends to take a small planet...

Totally outmatched, and totally pinned down.

He crouched in the turret's shadow, remembering a time when he could have cast confusion on the army and unity on the defenders. Remembering another life, the power he'd held, the masters he'd humbled, the minds he'd warped and erased and controlled-

No. I am not Je'gan Olra'en. I can't do what I used to do; I can't be what I used to be.

He leaped, then, up and out at an angle, straight into the teeth of the thud bug barrage. Sizzling ichor spattered his robe; an impact numbed his left arm and threw off his landing. He'd once fallen from a skyscraper on Coruscant and still defeated Mak Manto for the second time, but those days were behind him, and this comparatively marginal impact still shook him. He rolled it out, sabre scything around him in the circularity of high-level Soresu defenses, and regained his feet near Sochi Ru and her entrenched, doomed soldiers.

Only action would keep the dark out of his soul. Only action would stop memory. Maybe he'd die again; maybe one of these days it would last.

Rael followed his master down the path, sabers blazing. A blue light illuminated his bone mask, and another plunged itself into the neck of a Graug. He too, had lost track of the Sith Gherron had targeted. Rael nodded as his master jumped down the tree. Rael knew he wouldn't be able to climb well with both sabers, and he shut one off, clipping it to his belt.

As he jumped down the tree from branch to branch, his blade swung at enemies. Rael had lost himself, had let his inner warrior emerge. If Gherron had tried to contact him via their mental link, he would've hit a brick wall. And, the Jedi Knight would probably be able to tell what state Rael was in. The Padawan's mind knew what he was doing, but his body didn't. Rael could feel that fire burning inside of himself. He was letting himself be fueled by emotions. Emotions telling him to defend the Wookies with all his might. He didn't care if it was right or wrong, it's what he would do.

That's when they came upon the Sith. Rael's first encounter with a Sith. He felt his presence in the Force. Pure malevolence. It made him want to puke. He pushed the thought aside, and hopped to a branch beside Gherron, slicing down the Graug that was there before the Kaleesh decided he needed to die.

Below him, the forces of light and dark drew inexorably closer to each other as they inevitably did, and fires raged beneath him. Around him, the forest was still and quiet. Quiet except for the fifteen thousand members of Rogue Regiment that were spread throughout the surrounding forest, dressed in camouflage painted and shrubbery shrouded Warden class body armor and armed with everything from the Valor rifle to the Equalizer light machine gun to the old but reliable and highly effective PLX-1 missile launcher and even several dozen Judge heavy machine guns mounted on tripods with backpack power packs and clear lines of sight to the fort. It was a risk, turning the battlefield into such a three dimensional focus, but one that might pay off.

He himself was in the same Warden armor and carried the MandalTech MX sniper rifle with several hundred pellets to arm it with. He would have plenty of targets to choose from, that was for sure. But that was not quite his role for this one. While a sniper had the capability to unhinge an army's command structure, an eye in the sky capable of directing forces could meet and smash everything the enemy threw at it. They were outnumbered here. He could see that, and as they were outside the fortress his troops were the most at risk. But they were Rogue regiment. Troublemakers, brawlers, serial insubordinates, and killers. No orders were too important to ignore. No enemy too strong to flip off and then hightail away from. While not the heavy assault troops of Titan corps or the romanticized daredevils of Phoenix corps, the Rogues specialized in guerilla combat. Hit and run. Pay the price. Kill. Die. Repeat.

He nestled further into his eagle's nest, watching as the branches around the stronghold began to fall beneath the encroaching Sith troops to plummet down into the ranks below. He tapped his fingers on the stock of his rifle, considering. So many avenues to take. So many consequences.

First, engage without sacrificing his men. Wreak destruction without paying a price. Well, the Oversight droids hadn't been terribly cheap to requisition, but that was an advantage of Titan Corps. The biggest budget a military unit in a galactic state composed of hundreds of worlds could afford. So lots of droids. Not as heavily armed as he would have preferred, but they could do something. Distract them from the fortress. Disrupt the flow of shadow.

"Launch the droids," He said through the comm. From the surrounding forests, a hundred fifty Oversight droids would drop quietly from the trees to skim along the surface until reaching the enemy forces, at which point they would scatter and criss-cross across the enemy troop movement firing nearly continuously at the enemy armies with their light blaster cannons.

For the Vong and troops making the several kilometer climb up the trees, he would need a different strategy. One he would call "Spraying Bugs with Fire." Except not actual fire, as the trees were drenched in fire retardant stuff and he didn't want to cook the allies in the fortress.

"I want suppression fire on the troops climbing the tree from the Judges. Disperse and harry all flanks and sides. Hold the Stingers in reserve. Hit as many dropships as you can with the missiles. Then leave the vicinity. Set up ambushes. Priority targets are always commander."

He paused, and frowned. There was carnage where the bridge had collapsed beneath the forces a but a platoon proceeded in a tight formation on a smaller branch. He moved his rifle and zoomed in on them. Who was the commander? He couldn't tell. There was no Sith parading about with a red lightsaber and absurdly bulky armor. He'd have to keep an eye on them to see if the commander would reveal themselves somehow.

Graug forces. What was this?

The Shield would go through what she knew of the Graug, for they have had Graug soldiers under them for some time.

The Graug are naturally stronger than other humanoid species, finding a medium between a trando’s and wookiee’s strength. They can comfortably wrestle a wookiee for a small time, but in a prolonged fight they would stand no chance against the beasts.

The Graug soldiers are very violent by nature and it is only enhanced by the specie’s genetic mutation of unborn children in the womb. This genetic tampering gives all children an unquenchable addiction and thirst for adrenaline once they start receiving it. In battle they will go into what can only be described as a psychotic killing mindset in which they put taking others lives ahead of keeping their own.

The species is naturally sensitive to the darkside of the force and extremely attracted to its presence. While only the females and the males genetically modified to be leaders are smart enough to wield it, it acts as a driving force for all. While fighting on planets or in places where the darkside is heavily saturated, the species gain a natural boost from its assistance.

It is rare for a naturally occurring intellectual to be born among the species and it is even rarer on the homeworld where genetic mutation almost always twists this code. Most Graug are naturally born without the ability to make sound decisions and produce advanced logical thought, relying on natural survival instinct.

However, a surprising anomaly occurs when a genetic superior is born. The genetic lesser of the species will flock to the new leader almost instantly after birth, as if something beckons them to do so. These leaders are naturally more intelligent and it is speculated that a loose form of a hive mind is applied in this situation. It is more than obvious that this connection has to do with the species darkside sensitivity.

The species, due to its connection to the darkside, have grown a phobia to the aura of the lightside. The servant classes of the species are almost always guaranteed to flee at the sight of a display of a powerful lightsider. This can only be countered with a strong leader who is potent in the darkside of the force, or a battlefield riddled with dark energy. Even then, a strong enough lightside presence can be enough to cause the creatures to flee.

The violent nature and genetic tampering to cause severe addiction to adrenaline has its downside. If a servant class of the species activates its addiction and is not supplied with a steady amount of it, in the form of combat, the unquenchable addiction will drive them to madness. It is not uncommon to find a low class Graug talking to non-existent voices or going on serial rampages.

So... is this what the Republic would use to defend themselves?

Foolish.

A narrowing came to crimson eyes of the Vahla Sith Lord. The Force began to flow within the Vahla Lord. It was a summoning. Just like in Manaan. She knew what had to be done. To make them into a vortex of the Darkside, to bring out their baser nature.

They would turn the Graug's very nature against them.

"How many?"

"More than five, less than a million...give or take."

Stanley was a little shab'uir. Book clapped an armor laden palm against his helmet to shut the AI up. Stanley made an electornic snickering noise, and fell silent.

"We aren't equipped to handle Vong. All the droids are on the other bridges, Alex." Jason added quietly. They were on a private comm, none of the Peacekeepers could hear, but it was pure instinct to whisper in a situation such as this.

Book cast his gaze down to the gnarled wooden bridge beneath his feet. Just sitting here and waiting for the Vong would be a bad move. They were vulnerable climbing the trees, but in exchange, his men would be lose their entrenched positions.

"We're going to have casualties Master Sergeant." Stanley chided. "Better they take a few of the bad guys with them."

The Dreadguard commander fell silent. He closed his eyes, and drew in a deep breath. It was the logical option here, but some of these boys were going to be picked off. Peacekeeper armor was miles ahead of Republic kit, his soldiers had shields for one, but there were only three hundred of them compared to the Republic's thousands.

And Book cared a hell of a lot more about his guys than the Republic's.

"....Fine. Lieutenant! Order your men to move further up the bridge and pick off our visitors. Gunney, keep it straight."

NCOs would never give officers orders, but this was a special case. Dreadguard were above the rank and file. Their ranks were more akin to honorifics rather than holding any real weight. Short of a General, and Dreadguard could assume command.

"I have the cannon." Jason added shortly. "We're a rare breed now Book. Don't put us closer to extinction."

"Never." Book shot back. The Peacekeepers were vaulting over their cover position. Book followed; not being one to order his boys to do something he himself would not.

They came to the edge of the great branch that made up the northern road. Without a word, the Peacekeepers opened up on the forest below. Book aimed at the a hazy figure moving through the branches, and opened up with his Harbinger rifle.

"You know what I've been wondering? Stanley interjected. "Do the Sith mate with these things? The Vong I mean. The Sith ladies are missing a few screws in the head after all....and the Vong have whips."

"Cut the chatter."

"Aye cap'n.
