Well You Haven't Killed Me Yet...

I rolled my eyes but wrapped my tail around her. "I just hope that I don't lose my ability to run through the streets after this. With as much resting as I've been doing, hell, I might just pick a pocket and roll away." I grinned as I rested. Of course, I could run all I wanted, but it was still an interesting though. Zorrens generally kept themselves in very good shape.

Saryana blinked sleepily at him and made a small squeaking noise in response. She had a feeling her was just teasing and so decided not to reply. Instead she merely curled up closer and went to sleep. She was surprisingly cat-like for having a fox boy as a best friend. The thought made her laugh a bit as she slowly fell asleep in Will's arms. I chuckled at the squeak and watched her fall asleep. Having been completely relaxed, I was still wide awake. It hadn't really occurred to me before but now I was stuck with energy, and a passed out togrutan who i couldn't remove without waking her up. "Hell."' My voice was low, likely too much so for her to pick up.

Saryana snored softly and rolled over. She was a very heavy sleeper and it took a lot to wake her up. She also had a habit of tossing and turning enough that she would occasionally fall off of her bed. As she slept she moved around, creepy closer and closer to the edge of the couch. Eventually she rolled over far enough that she flopped onto the floor. She continued to snore as she curled up in the spot she had fallen. [member="William Seraven"]

My eyes widened and I lurched forward, instantly moving my tail to catch her head. As Sary hit the floor, I suppressed a yelp. Those head tails sure did add weight to her head. The same head that just landed on my tail. Still, she wasn't cracked her head and that was good. Getting up, I made my way to the door. Hopefully, I wouldn't be gone long, just enough for my daily run.

Saryana continued to sleep on the floor while Will was gone. She ended up rolling so she was under the coffee table, completely hidden from the view of anyone who entered the apartment. She still snored softly as she slept, so anyone who entered would hear her and know she was there, just not where she was exactly.[member="William Seraven"]

Once I was out of the house, i spent no time in climbing up to the room, my claws easily finding holds for me to use. Once Iw as on top... I took off. Of how it felt to feel the wind as my legs popped into their second joints, allowing me to dash away at abnormal speeds. my tail trailed behind me,aiding in balance as I raced off, leaping from roof to roof. Every once in a while, I'd deviate from my straight path, carving a long circuit that would bring me back to the home.

Saryana yawned, waking up after about an hour. She crawled out from under the table and looked around. "Will?" she called out, not seeing her fox like friend anywhere. "Will where are you?" she called, searching the apartment frantically. She couldn't find the Zorren anywhere and it started to worry her. The Togruta had abandonment issues to an extent due to being taken from her family when she was young. She was concerned that Will had simply walked out on her and wasn't coming back. She left the apartment door unlocked, just in case he did decide to come back. The young dancer sat down on the couch with her knees pulled up to her chest and her arms wrapped around her legs. My running went on for a while longer, and I enjoyed every moment. However, there was a place to be and as the circuit closed, I leaped from my current roof. Flipping through the air, I stuck out a clawed hand and latched onto a ledge form which I swung to the ground. Rolling to my feet, I popped up and dusted off my jacket. "That was fun." Walking into the room, I instantly caught on the the negative energy and walked hurriedly up to Saryana. "Is something wrong?"

Saryana didn't speak, instead she flung herself into Will's arms and cuddled close, clinging to his shirt as if her life depended on it. "I couldn't find you when I woke up and I got scared. I thought you left... Forever," The young Togruta cried, a few tears slipping from her eyes as she held onto him. She shook slightly as she cried into his shirt. Not being able to find him when she woke up had really scared her. [member="William Seraven"]

As she practically tackled me, I wrapped my arms around her. Hell, all I did was go running and somehow she still gave the guilt trip of the century. "Sary i told you, if I ever do leave, i want to bring you along. That's pretty hard to do without telling ya don't you think." Despite the fact that she was crying hysterically, I couldn't help but find myself touched by the gesture, so much so that I couldn't stop smiling. "I promise, I'll never go off world without you knowing before hand."

Saryana rubbed her eyes with one hand, wiping away the tears and nodded. "I-I'm sorry... I just... I've never really had a friend before... I'm always scared if I let anyone get close they'll leave... Or I'll get taken from them just like I was taken from my parents," the Togruta explained, still clinging tightly to him. She nuzzled him a little and held him tighter, comforted by his presence alone. The young dancer's panic began to ease the longer she stayed in Will's arms. [member="William Seraven"]

I stayed there, holding her to me as we stood, and waited until I felt her terror subside. "Well you've got me and I promise that I have no plans to leave you behind." My tail wrapped around her as well as we hugged. I felt bad for scaring her like I had. Now, I just had to make sure that she knew I wouldn't be going any time soon.

"Th-thank you, Will," she sniffled, looking up at him and smiling as bit. She was still pressed against him and her hands were still curled in the fabric of his shirt but she felt a lot better now. The Zorren's presence alone was a huge comfort to the Togrutan, and having his arms around her just made things that much better. She rested her head against his chest and sighed, feeling all of the panic leave her body. [member="William Seraven"]

I grinned a bit wider at her thanks. "No problem." Once she was calmed down, I separated myself form her. "Unless you want to be clinging to a sweaty zorren I think you can stand a bit while I take a shower alright?" The run had been energetic and with me leaping form building to building, it was inevitable that I had built up a sweat.

Saryana nodded and let go of him. She smoothed out her skirt and smiled. "I'll cook dinner while you go shower," she replied, hurrying off to the kitchen. She decided to make stew tonight after locating a carton of soup broth in the fridge. She checked the expiration date and realized it was only good for a few more days. 'Better use it up now,' she thought dumping it in a pot with some spices. She chopped up some meat and cooked it in a frying pan for a bit before throwing it into the soup as well. She put a lid on the pot and went back to the living room to sit down for a bit. [member="William Seraven"]

I nodded and took a picked up a few clothes I had bought earlier in the week, bringing them into the bathroom with me. After a few minutes, I came out of the shower, fresh and clean. Once again, my tail was wrapped up in a towel to dry while the rest of me had actual clothes. "Smells good." In truth, the smell had actually moved me out of the shower a bit quicker than I intended, my zorren nose easily picking up the scent of food.

"It should be done in a little bit," Saryana called as she moved to the kitchen once again. This time adding noodle and some veggies to the soup. Once the noodles cooked it would be time to eat. She covered the pot again and returned to the living room. The young dancer took a seat on the couch once again, waiting for Will to come sit beside her. "Can you cook?" Saryana asked after a few moments of thought.

I walked over and sat next to her, let ting out a small laugh at her question. "Nope. 'Fraid I'd burn down this kitchen if i tried." I flicked my tail and took another whiff of the food. One f the great perks of being a zorren. I could smell great things to a great degree(though this can also backfire in obvious ways.) "No, I just steal and buy what I need. Guess that makes me all the luckier to have you around because that really does smell delicious."

Saryana giggled as she got up and headed into the kitchen. "I'll teach you if you'd like, in case you need to eat when I'm not around," she told him with a small laugh. SHe turned off the stove and scooped the soup into two bowls. There was a lot of it left in the pot, since her Zorren companion certainly had a large appetite. She returned the living room and took a seat on the couch, handing Will his bowl and spoon as she sat down. [member="William Seraven"]
