What Does Light Side Faction Mean?

Dair's opinion on the matter is to trust guardedly.

If a dark side character were actually trying to help, he would allow it but be watchful fit treachery. He would then try to talk to the person and see if he can bring them back to the light. If not then he'd watch guardedly until the dark sider repents or betrays and acts accordingly.
