Why don't you wear your faction's tag?

I've been seeing active members of major factions participating in faction functions and have a largely tangible presence there, but what I noticed is there's a handful of people that don't represent their faction affiliation with their respective tag.

So I have a simple question for the community: If you're a part of a major faction, why don't you wear your faction's tag?

Because sometimes it's more of an alignment thing than actually being part of the faction.

And yeah, blue would not go with my colour scheme.

In all honesty? Because I don't really do Major Factions as the focal point of any of my characters story. Well, excepting one. And that Faction is still yet to be added to map and have a Major Faction Tag. Those tags are more about character Identity than Allegiance, which can and does often shift here.

I always have when able to. When Vengeance was in the One Sith I carried the One Sith tag. When he went into exile I swapped it for the exile tag. Now he is no longer in exile but a tag does not yet exist for his current affiliation.


Now that being said I will not carry a Faction tag with any character until I have made what I consider to be a Legitimate IC contribution to said faction. Which can some times take a while.

Also just to throw this in the mix, sometimes the only reason is because reasons. And that is the only needed reason.
