“Sweetie”, not even aware he had even said such an enduring term, “I’m not a herbalist. I do not think it is a good idea for us to go out and test the local flora when we have zero idea what is what....and what to do with them. We could do far more damage then good by doing it. Fruits and the like we still have to be careful too. Also silence for to long is not a good think. I’m sure you have heard stories about people stuck on a ship floating in space. Nothing but dead silence for years. They lose their minds. Same could happen here if we did not have each other. Please keep on talking.”

One of the nicest things he had ever said to her, keep on talking. "Well there are some things which should be easy to see what is" And yes she'd be careful with the fruit, "Garith we will be here a long time we should try to figure some of this out, even if its just a little. Maybe some litmus paper would help."

Course did they have that here? She didn't know. "We may have to develop some of it though." She said softly, thinking about how much they had or didn't have really. Lucky so far except for when the crashed they hadn't been hurt much.

"Maybe there's wreckage out there somewhere too, that we can salvage something, what do you think ?"

“There could be wreckage out there”, it was possible, “if we are going to test planets then I should be the ginnie-pig. Out of the two of us I’m the most durable and I have a force skill that I can use to detoxify my body of poisons. I guess you know one of my secretes and why I seem not to get to drunk and just stay at a nice buzz. If you learn to much more I might just have to lock you away so no one will find out my dirty little secretes”, he laughed. He had no intention of locking her away some where.

"Our little secrets Garith, or should I say Togashi Yokuni," She bowed her head and then picked up smiling, "told you we'd know a lot about each other but not to worry your secret is safe with me"

And it was she would never tell a soul.

The evening came to a close as the two took to slumber. When day broke the two went back to their daily toil. A hard life Garith seemed breed for. A life full of rewards. True to his word a prepared a suitable work location that he could begin repairs on the transport. He also made leather clothing as he had described. They were crud and something more tribal. They had barely covered what they needed to. Leather boots was something far more easy for him to fashion, and so he did.

Three months later.

“Arianna”, Garith called out. It was early morning. A new day had dawned and today he was going to keep another promise. Garith walked into the sleeping quarters on board the ship, “Time to get up are you ready?”

Arianna had grown stronger leaner in the months that they had been ship wrecked and while Garith had made a few complaints about her cooking abilities she could finally make a meal of what they had and make it taste more like food than the sawdust it use to.

The clothing that Garith had fashioned for them was interesting, it was thick to protect the sensitive areas of their skin. Under the sun light of their new home Arianna had grown darker she was beginning to look like she was born of this place they were living, and not of the high born elegance of Alderaan.

When Garith called out, she did not run like she use to instead she yelled back, “Yes? “ She made a face, “I’ve been up for a bit, are you in a hurry today” She then came over to the doorway, putting a single hand on her hip she looked out, “did you need something really quick this morning, you didn’t say anything last night” She wasn’t accusing him of anything she just wasn’t sure what was up this morning.

Looking back at miss sassy Yokuni chuckled and shook his head. “Well I thought you would like that day off we talked about. Would you like to go out and see some of this planet we’ve been living on?”

"Well, I would like to see a little further than where we've been" It was months ago he had mentioned this, and there was just now becoming time to be able to do these things. He had been that busy in forging what they needed, gathering the materials had taken many long days. It was good he was strong, too many nights he had said don't worry I'm fine. But she wondered if he was fine.

He might not be, she watched him a little when he slept. He seemed ok. She shook her head of the thoughts,

"If we can go, I'd love to go" She smiled. "Shall I get some of the water?"

“Yes we will take some water but here me out first” , he reached out with his hand to take hers, so he could lead her to the other room while they spoke. “It will take us a good part of the day to walk there. Normally I would use the Force to travel to this area quickly so I could make the trip there, do what I needed to do there, and make it back all in a day. That is way we will have to camp out there for the night. It is a beautiful location and one I know you would want to see”, there was a massive waterfall there and a safe lake there he knew she would like. He had set up a safe small one room fort up in the trees and in a location the large predators would not reach. It seemed like a terrific place to take her.

“So after we eat and drink we will head out after we gather a few things for our walk. Also sense it will talk us a half of a day to walk there we will take more then one day there. Does that sound like a plan you like?”

Arianna listened carefully something she had learned with him, he often said exactly what he meant with no hidden meanings. So a day and a night, and part of day away from the ship she looked around quick.

She started to get really happy, "Yes I would love to do that it will be great to get away!" Then she looked around again.

"Will the ship be safe if we go for that long?" She wouldn't want anything to happen to it.

“The ship will still be here when we get back”, he did pick up on her excitement. “Come on”, he nodded to the kitchen, “Should we get something to eat?”

"Yes, we will need energy to do the walk, I have some fruit already sliced up in here with some water." the things they ate had become very basic it was one reason why she had finally had some success at cooking. It was only their evening meal that was hot, and even then sometimes they preferred something light, cooler after working all day.

They had gotten everything picked up and put away in the ship now it looked a bit like it had on the inside before that had left Corellia, maybe a little neater. "You say it will take half a day to get there, does that include the occasional stops that may have to be made" She smiled, it was a bit of a tease, she knew he'd let them stop for the necessities.

“Yes there will be some stops along the way”, he stopped from eating to answer her. “I had thought maybe a ten minute rest for every hour we walk and we should make it there by mid day”, he went back to eating.

Ten minutes for every hour, that should work out real well, "Ok, I can do that" and she could now. A few months ago no she would have complained and fussed. but that was then. She looked over at Garith, they had come a long way too since their arrival.

Strange how things do change.

As soon as Arianna finished she went and gathered the water they would need as well as a few pieces of the fruit since it would go bad if left out anyhow. She packed what she could carry. If they were going on a picnic, did she need to bring more food from here, or would they get it all there.

"Garith, where you are taking me, is there food there to gather?"

“Yes there is food to gather there. It would not work out if there was no food there to get”, finished with his food he was ready to go. He could just pick up the things he had waiting at the forge to take. Yes the trip there was a really relaxed pace for him and he planned it so, so she could make the trip and not feel like she was going to die. “The only things that are really missing there is up”, he held out his hand once again to so her the way.

One thing that had definitely changed between them was he often took her hand, and when she felt like she needed a hug she no longer asked him she went to him and just put her arms around him and he knew. Whether he was just putting up with her need for contact she didn't know but she began to think he enjoyed it to.

This whole life this simple life that they had here, maybe they shouldn't ever leave. Maybe they should just stay here, and do this.

She took his hand, "I'm ready to go when you are" She kept her thoughts simple knowing if he wanted he could pick them up.

Never really the one to pray into the thoughts of others Yokuni just lead [member="Arianna Organa"] out of the ship and over to the forge. When they were there he picked up a backpack he had fashioned. He handed one to her and picked up one for himself. Her pack was packed really lightly and he was going to carry most of the weight in his pack. “There is some things we will need in your pack and mine. Between what is in the packs and what we took from the ship we will have what we will need other then the food we will have to gather. For most of the trip we will be heading up hill into the mountain base. Up there is a location your just going to love. I just know it.”

She could only smile at him as her excitement about where they were going was building, "I know I will love it! I'm so ready for this Garith" She wiggled side to side to show her excitement.

"Lead on, I'm following you" Up the mountain, there would be so much to see from there, Oh how much more of the planet could she see, was there more jungle, forest, desert or or snow even.

Yes she was excited.

She wiggled and then he lead on. Travailing up the base of the mountain, at least this portion of the mountain they had started to get a clear picture of where they were living. They could see the ship and the forest surrounding it. Maybe a few days travel was a beach and a vast ocean. It was a paradise and the predators there were not really dangerous. Well not as dangerous as the forest moon of Endor or Daxun. Compared to those places this was a paradise. “So how is the view so far?”

Arianna had a hard time keeping her mind on the trail each time she turned she saw something new, something that wanted to draw her off their intended destination to look. She was now standing facing away from Garith looking at the view.

A beach, and an ocean. Ocean meant many things, fish for starters. She sighed actually looking back at Garith finally able to answer, "It's wonderful Garith, gosh there is so much here to see." She laughed a bit, "maybe when we get off here we should come back and build a house, and have this as a vacation place, and a place" she stopped, she was thinking a place to remember their time together.

"I think I could grow to really like it here if I knew we weren't stranded" She looked again down to where their ship sat, "What do you think of it seeing all of this?" Course he had seen it, she wondered what he thought when he saw it.
