You Got Something I Need II (Coryth)

Mirien nodded slowly, and stepped in front of Coryth and Siobhan, leading the way down to the basement, unlocking it and stepping quickly down the stairs. "Probably for the best to lock it behind us. I'd rather there not be interruptions from Galina. In fact given what we'll be doing in the force, and her force sensitivity probably for the best that one of the servants take her out for a little while. I really don't want to worry her at all. The girl's already been through so much, no need to frighten her further." Mirien was one of her aunties after all, and for her part she did care about the wildling.

Well, as much as her personality, mind and training would allow her to care. For family was something that could be used against you, just as lovers could be. Reasons she'd been unable to admit so far to truly being in love with Siobhan. Something that she no doubt would have to come to terms with sooner rather than later, but for now that could be put aside for there was a job to do.

Coming to a table down in the basement, she drug over a couple chairs, offering the seats to Siobhan and Coryth. "I figure it's going to be a draining process and going to take a while, so might as well be comfortable while we work." That and she wasn't certain for how long she could stay on her feet during it either, just one more reason for them to relax as much as possible.

Coryth shuddered slightly hearing the telepathic communication. Breathing in deeply she let out a soft sigh, and nodded to Siobhan. It's okay.... Yes, talking later I think I may need to. The expression upon the redhead's features spoke that clearly enough without the need for the telepathic communication to Siobhan. Was a long time ago ... I'd nearly forgotten how much I failed that night, how much it hurt me then. But it's done, and in the past. It cannot be changed now. No, not at all. Not that it really made it any better for the tiny Master. It was what it was.

So for her part, Coryth stayed close to Siobhan, letting Mirien take the lead down to the basement. She figured it would be in her best interests to stick close to her best friend now, to keep her from acting anymore rashly than she already did. To keep her from harming the woman, who was so different than the monster she knew from years ago. To be quite frank, it confused the hell out of the redhead. She certainly knew people could change. But to this degree, and this point, it was as if it was a brand new person standing before her. Such a strange thing. With a bit of a sigh, she took a seat in one of the offered chairs and said nothing further. There just wasn't anything else she could say. Not without making the situation so much worse. So, silence seemed the best option for everyone involved.

Her girls had made it into the basement and were not trying to kill each other. That was good. However, it did not make the situation any less awkward. Or the past any less painful. Regardless Siobhan gave Mirien a nod when she brought up Galina. The brunette might not appear that way to those who did not know her, but beneath the Ice Queen was a woman who cared, no matter how closed-off and cold she might come across on first sight. It was probably one of the reasons for Siobhan's affections for her.

And for why, despite knowing the horrible crimes Mirien had committed, she stuck with her. "Good idea. I'll give Sylaise a call. She can take Galina to Firemane and the practicing range over here. Should keep her from snooping around and she can keep up her skills," she said, giving her fellow brunette a short smile. Sylaise was one of Sio's...attendants, who also doubled as a bodyguard of sorts due to being a former Eldorai soldier. It went without saying that Siobhan...really appreciated her muscles.

Anyhow, calls were made and the little firemane would get the chance to shoot at things, without walking in on Force rituals. Siobhan was...still not entirely comfortable with her daughter being a force-user. Not in a sense that it made her love the wildling any less, far from it. For her part Siobhan had sat down on one of the chairs, crossing one long, toned leg over the other. She might have dressed down for a change, but those jeans were definitely flattering. "Ok. I'm ready. We can get started then. You can draw upon my energies to fuel yours."

Mirien settled down looking over the pieces for the holocron. The idea to carry all the memories of the two lovely ladies before her. Even if one of them clearly was still upset with her.

With a heavy and deep breath she sighed as she started to arrange them into a particular order for her mind's sake. Things needed to be in the right place after all for holocrons where a rather complex affair. "Thank you, Sio. I'll start with you first." For right then she didn't want to be walking through Coryth's memories, not when her anger still radiated through the room. Just not a pleasant idea for her, as if walking through Cory's memories would be pleasant at all.

Reaching forward with one hand she rested her hand against Siobhan's forehead, and the other hovered near the organic crystal lattice that she'd arranged on the counter. "Just have to trust me, let me all the way in. You cannot hold back here." Mirien encouraged softly. Slowly, very slowly she started to press into Siobhan's mind and started to direct the woman's memories from her, and into the lattice structure. Her hands both softly glowed a faint blue as the transfer began.

And Coryth was reduced to watching, more of scowling, cause that was the best she could manage as she tried to work through her own personal feelings about Mirien. Such a complicated matter, so many conflicting emotions all at once. Silence really did seem the best option as she curiously watched the exchange between Siobhan and Mirien. Feeling the force being pulled upon and the power drawn in as Mirien began to draw Siobhan's experiences and memories into the lattice structure.

Truth be told she'd never watched a holocron made, she'd only even seen one or two in her lifetime. So it did leave her rather curious. But then she realized, she was going to have to trust Mirien, let her be inside her mind for the transfer, and in that moment, she wasn't sure if she could do it. This day just keeps getting more and more complicated..... Grumbled internally to herself.

Things were, you might have guessed it, still awkward, with Coryth being the third wheel at present. Siobhan glanced over to her and gave her what would hopefully be an encouraging look. She trusted Mirien, but could not help feeling a bit nervous. It was best that the procedure was done on Siobhan first, but would this help give Coryth more trust? Or would it conversely push the short stack of fire away, given that Siobhan would be letting the former Inquisitor into her mind without any doubt or protest?

Well, there was no point getting wobbly. How would Siobhan respond if their positions were reversed and it was Kaelin instead of Mirien? The answer to that question was quite simple: There was a reason Coryth was a Jedi Master and Siobhan was not. "If you don't trust her, Coryth, trust me. I wouldn't go through with this if there was a chance she'd hurt you," she said softly before taking a deep breath. In this moment all her mental barriers dropped before Mirien. "I trust you, Miri. Enter my mind." The former Bando Gora Acolyte would feel and see everything inside her.

Coryth sighed heavily, only watching the other two women. Awkward definitely was the word for it. Very, very, awkward. "Yeah ... I don't trust her. Trust never did come easily and most certainly not after my experiences with her." Before any protest could be made she just lifted a hand, "Only being honest. Cause this is not my idea of a fun Tuesday night. Would rather be anywhere than here." Another sigh came and went, as she folded her arms over her chest, waiting. It was all she could do for the time being. "None the less I trust you, and that is why I am still here. If I didn't she'd be dead and this whole awkward mess would be over by now."

Mirien nodded slowly, hearing the conversation. "At least I know where I stand." She mumbled more to herself than anything else. Truthfully at least knowing where she stood with Coryth made it a little better, even if right now Coryth might want her dead. And at least Sio stands between me and my untimely death ...Kinda sounds like you deserved this one. Point.

With a shake of her head, Mirien pushed the thoughts away and set back to her work. It was then that she felt all of Siobhan's guards slip away. Easily she stepped within the sea of memories, emotions and experiences, bit by bit she drew them out, bringing a perfect copy of them into the crystal lattice. So much for mind raping Sith destroy a mind in a one stop shopping spree. A smirk formed upon her lips at that thought. No one, ever was going to get away with what happened on Alderaan again. And if they tried, she'd personally turn them from a rooster into a hen and make sure they were nothing but a squealing blob of organs by the end of it. A thought that warmed her little black heart oh so much.

"And here I was told in Ashira's Angels that sapphic polygamy is all fun and games," Siobhan muttered to herself. She had a few rather romantic and perhaps too idealistic notions about how her family life should be. "I mean, carry on. We can...talk when the procedure is done, Coryth." She had a feeling that she would have a lot of sucking up to do to cheer the poor redhead up. Then again, Siobhan felt rather bad about putting her favourite short stack of fire through this, even though it was not her fault, but this did not change the fact that this pained Coryth deeply.

In any case, they had work to do, though in this particular situation Siobhan's role was a rather passive one. In the sense that she mainly had to keep her mind open for Mirien and, moreover, serve as a reserve of power, a fountain of energy for her to replenish herself with. Unlike Mirien, Siobhan was not a particularly potent mentalist. Truth be told, until she had inherited the brunette's memories, she had sucked at anything beyond the basic mind trick. While she was becoming very potent when it came to defending her mind, she would probably always be rather weak in offensive applications. At least in anything that did not involve a sledgehammer approach to memory alteration that would probably do more harm than good.

However, she trusted Mirien in spite of everything, and so she let her in. She found herself breathing heavily as she felt Mirien traverse the ocean of memories, feelings and experiences, bit by bit drawing them into the crystal lattice. Indeed, Siobhan found herself feeling as if her whole life was flashing before her at rapid speed, from her childhood, her experiences on Nar Shaddaa after fleeing from her homeplanet, her encounter with Adril and her time with the Jedi...the good, the bad...Tegaea and the Pyre, their marriage...everything was flashing before and the being sucked into the artefact. Not just her own memories, as due to their bond hers were inevitably entwined with Mirien's.

Of course, it was not just memories that were being transferred, but feelings as well. Her rage against Sith and those like them, her fierce protectiveness and seemingly boundless love for her family. Tegaea, Galina, Mirien, Coryth...all the magnificient women that meant the world to her. She breathed in, which came across more like panting, though even as she herself tiring she worked to keep her walls down and, in the case that Mirien was opening, opened herself to transfer some of her energies towards her bond sister so that she could strengthen herself.

"So much for that happy sapphic family." Coryth muttered softly. Still every bit hating the situation for what it was. She sighed heavily, and watched none the less. Finally she reached over, and took Siobhan's hand gently and squeezed it softly. It frankly just make her feel better given the awkwardness of the situation. She just needed that familiar contact, and touch now more than ever. That alone seemed to calm the redhead a great deal as her emotions became more manageable, easier to control.

The conversation outside of what she was doing was no longer her concern for what she was doing took every inch of focus and power she had. It was a most strange thing, looking through Siobhan's memories, feeling the things she felt and so much more. It was experiencing her life, for what it was as she drew the lot of it through herself and into the holocron.

Her own breathing was starting to get harder, her heart racing with the strain of what she was doing. It wasn't much longer and she was reaching into Siobhan to draw upon her energies in the force, and use her for a battery more or less to keep going.

Finally Mirien withdrew, panting heavily, as she took a seat herself. "Not done." She whispered, trying to catch her breath. "About halfway there I think." She shook her head slowly, "That's like .... living your whole life, through proxy. It's ... strange. Really strange. Even sharing your memories from before, it's still odd to experience it that way."

The process was...beyond intense. Siobhan's heartbeat increased at a rapid rate, racing when she felt Mirien draw upon her power. It still felt...rather weird to her to let someone in to such an extent and open herself completely. Yet she persisted and did not raise her walls again. Likewise she let her energies flow through Mirien, willingly giving herself over to serve as a force battery for the former Bando Gora Acolyte.

Siobhan could be compared to a massive fountain of power, but she still had her limits, like every human and indeed every sentient being did. And so the strain of the procedure was beginning to show on her. Elevated heartbeat, sweat dripping down her face and back and increasingly ragged breathing, though her role was more passive, whereas Mirien had to sift through the massive volumes of data and feeling that were being drawn in to the artefact by her.

Mirien was right, it was like the ice queen was living Siobhan's whole life. One might wonder how much process could influence either of them, especially when you considered their bond. There had been times when Siobhan had wondered how much of her feelings for Mirien might have been born out of the fact that they were connected through the bond. However, she had long stopped questioning this. Far as she was concerned, her feelings for the woman were genuine. She did not need to have Mirien's memories flash-fed into her mind to feel affection for her in the way she did. As for Coryth, Siobhan felt...very guilty for what the redhead was going through, even though it had not been her fault. Still, the short stack of fire was a woman she cared very deeply about and would hate to lose or push away.

Finally she felt Mirien withdrew and, with the connection broken off, Siobhan leaned back in her chair. "That was...intense," she breathed in heavily. "There are...very few people I'd let in this deeply," she admitted. There was much in her life Siobhan had cause to regret or feel remorse for, but she did not feel embarrassed or afraid about Mirien seeing those events because she knew that the woman understood. "Take your time, we can continue when you're ready."

Coryth glanced between the two of them, seeing the strain so clear of what they were doing. The idea, still didn't settle well with her, but this was protecting her mind, her memories, and her life experiences. Frankly that trumped any anger she held over what Mirien had done years ago. Perhaps I'm just hanging on to old hurts a little too much. She nearly killed you. The person who did that, isn't the person in front of me. And look at what she is doing for both of us .... Saving our entirely lives at her own expense. I guess that is something. Still ticked though.. Still had the scar.

"I could ... help rejuvenate you both." Coryth finally offered. For it was a talent she had, but rarely used. Now seemed like the perfect time for it. It would help at least get things done quicker if she did so.

Mirien's focus had been solely on Siobhan and now when Coryth spoke, she nearly jumped a little startled. "Yeah, it was ... more than I expected. Strange." Her gaze shifted to the redhead, "It could help things along. I just don't want to ask it of you." She said softly as she reached for a glass of water. Mirien leaned forward, and rested her head on her knees for a moment as she breathed deeply, still trying to recover a little bit from the strain. The exhaustion more than clear in every inch of the woman's body.

Siobhan gave Mirien's hand a gentle squeeze. Damn it, this was awkward and complicated. Then she gave Coryth a grateful look and a thin smile after having heard her offer. "I'd appreciate that a lot, Coryth. Thanks. If you're ready, please go ahead," she said softly, taking a big gulp from her glass of water, trying to recover from the strain she had put herself under.

Things were bound to get...even more awkward when Coryth had to let Mirien into her mind in order to copy her memories. Siobhan was half-tempted to ask whether it would help if she went along for the ride, though she was obviously far inferior to mentalism to both of them.

Coryth sighed and reached out, taking Mirien's hand as well as Siobhan's. "Just relax." Though that was more for her than anyone else. Breathing in, gaining her composure once more, she reached out into the force pulling on the invisible strands of power and drew it into herself and then the two women before her. They would soon started to feel their bodies strengthened, and exhaustion starting to slip away bit by bit. It took time, and energy on her part, but hopefully soon enough both women would feel as if they'd just woken up after a most relaxing nap.

[member="Mirien Valdier"] | [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]

Mirien looked to Coryth, feeling quite strange as the redhead reached out and took her hand without a word or any indication that she'd be doing so. Awkward.... That part isn't going away is it? You know she's an empath ... keep it professional. Professional was out the window the moment we started this. Point. Soon enough, she started to feel the effects of Coryth's work, feeling the raw energies flowing into her, soothing away every ounce of her exhaustion and weariness. It was sooo strange, so odd. In a way, amazing. Mirien had never seen another use that particular force skill before. Proof the redhead really was unique in her healing talents.

Well, Siobhan did take a deep breath and visibly try to relax, though truth be told, what nervousness she might feeling was mostly related to the tenseness between Mirien and Coryth. But she did appreciate that the redhead was comporting herself as good as could be expected. Better even, when you thought about it. Again, Siobhan would be handling things far less well if Mirien had been substituted by Kaelin. But such thoughts were cut off when she suddenly the raw energies from Coryth flowing througgh her.

They soothed and washed away her exhaustion, strengthened and reinvigorated her. Proof that the short stack of fire was, as a matter of fact, very powerful. This was a simple fact so many people often overlooked, even some who claimed to be close to her, for they judged her by such trivial things as her size. Then again, anyone who thought her a fragile flower just needed to take a good look at her scars and spend a couple moments thinking about what she had been through in her life. "thanks, Coryth. I think I'm ready, when you are, Miri."

Coryth finally withdrew, and just looked between the two women. No words really needed to be spoken at that point. As much as Mirien might make her nervous, and angry so much of that was melting away just as she started to understand exactly what the brunette was going through as the memory transfers happened. Something she could appreciate, though it didn't entirely erase what she felt. "No problem, Sio." Said softly, as she drew her knees up into the chair she was sitting in, and rested her head upon her knees for a moment. Something just seemed safer being curled up in such a fashion.

[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]

"Thanks, Coryth." Spoken softly as she finally felt she could begin again. Reaching out, she once more took Siobhan's hand and placed her hand back over the crystalline lattice structure. Her hands quickly began to glow as she dove back into Siobhan's mind, her memories, emotions and experiences. It took her a moment to sift through it and pick up exactly where she had left off. From there, more of Sio's life would be transferred into the holocron.

Time would pass, perhaps an hour or more before Mirien withdrew a final time. With a sigh she sat down in her chair and looked to Coryth and then Siobhan. "It's done." Finally done. A lifetime of experiences fitted into the crystal. It seemed almost impossible but it was finally done. One woman's lifetime sitting there on the counter now. Mirien's gaze drifted to the holocron and shook her head slowly. A little amazed that she'd managed it.
