You Got Something I Need II (Coryth)

[member="Coryth Elaris"], [member="Mirien Valdier"]

And so it was done. Well, that sounds both dramatic and banal. But time passed, perhaps over an hour, before the massive volume of data, emotions, feelings and experiences had been pulled from Siobhan into the crystal that now pulsed with power and energy. Siobhan took a deep breath as se looked upon the holocron. Such a small thing, yet it contained her entire life, neatly stuffed in and compartmentalised. It was both mind-boggling and amazing.

"Thank you. Thanks to both of you," she said with genuine gratitude as she leaned over to give first Mirien, then Coryth a kiss. Oh, and yes, said kisss were both equally loving! No need to be jealous, girls, or feel left out, Siobhan loves you both very much. "Guess we could use a bit of a break. When we...do it for you, Coryth, would you...like me to enter your mind as well alongside Mirien and help?" she offered. It would probably be obvious to all three that this was intended to be more of a trust-building measure because Siobhan was far inferior to both when it came to mentalism. As Siobhan wiped some sweat from her brow, Mirien would feel the gentle brush of the Force against her mind. Seeing what you did for myself...it won't change anything between us.

Coryth smiled a little at Siobhan's kiss, and relaxed back in her chair. For a moment, she said nothing just thinking about what Sio had offered. And she had a single question to ask her dear friend. "Do you really want to be along on the ride and experience my life? All of my life, the good ... the bad, the ugly. The torture ... rape... and such?" The redhead was pretty certain no one wanted to experience those things, to know what her life had really been like in it's entirety. "Because I can't promise that would be any bit pleasant to experience. Hell, I'm not much in the mood to relive those events but I guess .... if I want to protect my mind I'm going to have to let it be." She finally said with a sigh.

Siobhan looked from Mirien to Coryth, then gave a short nod. "Well, there's plenty that...I'd rather not experience," she admitted. It was bad enough to know the rape and torment Xerexes had put Coryth through. Actually seeling and experiencing it for herself would be even worse. "But I'm ok with it. If it helps and it doesn't seem intrusive to you, I'll go along for the ride."

Coryth nodded slowly, her thoughts drifting to the more painful, more horrific memories that she held. "Yeah, I guess it might help me." Not that she really wanted to do this, but protecting her mind in the end would be worth it. Her eyes drifted to Mirien, "I guess, when you're ready, we can start." Mirien, she could care less if she experienced the same horrors that she had gone through, a part of her thought the woman actually deserved that much, to see, to feel ... to truly understand.

Mirien only glanced between the two women before sighing heavily as she rubbed at her forehead. Boy this is about to get ... fun. Can I just leave now? Nope ... have to see this through. Feeling Sio brush against her mind, her words only made her drop her gaze to the floor. Her past ... had been colorful, painful and horrible. That much she knew. She'd been a terrible human being, and hurt a lot of people in the process. One of which was seated before her. Are you really so certain of that, Siobhan? Because I'm not. Spoken into the brunette's mind.

Coryth's words pulled her from her thoughts. "Yeah ... ready. Might as well get moving." So the awkward can at least somewhat go away. Reaching out, she took both Coryth's and Siobhan's hands, though admittedly she clung tighter to Siobhan's. She needed the strength that only Sio could give her. But Coryth wasn't quite as ready as she thought. "Have to drop every last guard, Coryth. I can't get in and do this without you letting me. And you have to." A sigh, "I know it's not easy, just ... let Siobhan in first, if you must. I can pull back and let her first, if that helps."

"You know I'd do anything for you, Cory," Siobhan said. It sounded a bit mushy, but it was the truth! "Well, within reason," she amended. Kissing a manling was right out! Admittedly this one cannot imagine a reason for that, but whatever. Feeling Mirien's brush against her mind, Siobhan sighed. I am. Have faith in me, sweetie.

She nodded after Mirien had spoken, holding both hers and Coryth's hand tight as she tried to give them what reassurance she could. Her own mind was open, her energies available and ready for Mirien to draw on. "I can go in first, if you want. I just need all the barriers down. I'm nowhere near as good in mentalism as either of you."

"Trust." Definitely an attempt to reassure herself than for either of the other women in the room.

"Siobhan first, please ....." Coryth paused before she did anything. She'd never let her guards down like this. Never, never let anyone in like this. And the idea now, to let a woman that she very much wanted to see dead do so .... Well that was a thought she didn't want to entertain. Breathing in slowly, she worked to try and calm herself enough to allow them in. With a few tears down her cheek, she finally started to drop her defenses one by one. Wall after wall, layer after layer of defense, emotion, pain ... protection. Protections that she held so dear to her. Anything to keep the world from seeing her pains, her sufferings.

She never wanted them to know and now ... Now she felt so vulnerable. Vulnerable and it terrified her. It just felt so incredibly weak to her, like at that moment anyone could attack her heart and soul and destroy her without much thought. Breathing heavily, a few more tears falling, she finally dropped the last wall she held. There was no doubt that both would feel a wave of emotion before they even touched her mind. The fear, the pain, the worry, the angry, all of it. Every emotion she felt in that moment came pouring out to both women in the room as Coryth now held nothing between them and her empathy, or her mind. This was what open meant to Coryth and to her, it was the worst thing in the worlds that she could think of.

Mirien nodded, and gently squeezed Coryth's hand trying to offer some reassurance. Knowing though, very little would come from her. "Go ahead, Siobhan." Encouraging her as best she could. Then, the wave of emotion hit her like a wall. So much pain, fear and worry... Terror even to be so open and vulnerable. And in that moment, Mirien felt horrible for all she'd done to Coryth, all the things while she didn't remember... she still felt horrific. "She's ready now." She managed to speak at last.

All walls were down and Siobhan slowly entered Coryth's mind, though not without a measure of hesitation. It did not take long before she was hit by what could only be described as a massive tidal wave of feelings, memories and experiences. The fear, the pain, the worry...everything seemed to suddenly hit her with almost overwhelmning force.

Siobhan did not have Mirien's experience or talent with mentalism, and so it was difficult for her to establish order in the ocean of memories she found herself swimming through. There was so much pain there, more than any human should ever be forced to experience, especially someone as kind, compassionate and gentle as Coryth. The strain was clearly evident upon Siobhan's features as she tried to swim through the ocean before gripping what could be considered a small, metaphorical boat because otherwise she feared she might drown.

See, as has been said, Siobhan was far from a natural when it came to mentalism and she could hardly defend herself particularly well while she was at the same time trying to pull upon the tangled web of the Force and, bit by bit, pull memories and feelings into the holocron. Thus her steps were slow and tentative, far from free of hesitation, though she slowly tried to relax. "Mirien...," she said slowly, panting. It felt like the wave would drown her, but she pressed on.

Coryth took a deep breath as she felt Siobhan enter her mind, near to panic as she did so. Someone else in her mind, felt all sorts of wrong. The urge to push Siobhan out, and throw her walls back up was incredibly difficult to resist. Somehow though, she managed it through sheer force of will. Being so open as she was, she couldn't help but feel Siobhan's struggled and worried greatly for her. For from this end, she couldn't filter her experiences, memories and emotions. An endless sea was surrounding them both.

And as Siobhan started to help the transfer... Memories would flood through her mind. The first time Coryth remembered her mother, the two of them playing together with a small red ball on a starship. The plague on Laseel in which the redhead severed herself from the force to try and defend against the massive amounts of death that ravaged the planet. The gang that chased her through the streets of Coruscant, on a fractured ankle. The Master who saved her from them, who protected, defended and trained her. The days at the hospital in her teens as she learned how to handle herself in surgeries and help the most helpless of cases. The first patient she lost. Her knighthood ceremony after the trials. The relief that she even passed at all, not quite believing herself capable of it. So much elation in that singular moment.

Mirien waited, only sensing out and lightly touching upon Coryth's mind. She didn't want to press, didn't want to enter unless the redhead felt safe. But then she could feel it. Siobhan was drowning, unable to control the flood of experiences. Reaching out, like a hand in the dark she grabbed Siobhan pulling her to safety beside her.

Seeing Coryth's experiences the first few as she started to pull them over into the crystal lattice, the plague on Laseel took her by surprise, and the redhead's reaction to it even more so. Severing herself from the force was a harsh reaction, but somehow she didn't blame the redhead given the magnitude of what she felt. Mirien took a deep breath, calming herself a little as the onslaught continued.

Siobhan was like a drowning woman trying to grasp for anything she find to hold on to. Her metaphorical boat had been ripped apart and buried by the massive tidal wave that swept her way as if it were an enormous flood. Memories upon memories, images and feelings were flooding her mind. She saw Coryth experience the terrible plague on Laseel and the drastic actions the redhead had taken to try and defend herself from the massive wave of death.

However, as a matter of fact, Siobhan was not simply seeing it. Rather for a few moments she felt as if she had been Coryth. As if she was the terrified little girl whose empathy had been so assaulted by the massive amount of death that she had cut herself off from the Force. She shook strongly and panted, sweat dripping down her forehead and face. Wait, these were not her memories. She had not been there! But she was already in too deep and kept sinking further and further down into the ocean. She saw herself healing the sick and needy by using the Force, felt a profound sense of loss when her first patient died, then pride and accomplishment upon being knighted.

Followed by her storming out of a Council meeting after calling the Councillors out on their crap, burning redhead rage being in full effect. And so she sank...deeper and deeper before she managed to catch herself. Or rather Mirien suddenly entering Coryth's mind caught her, as it allowed Siobhan to focus. These were not her memories, no matter how real and vivid they felt. Coryth had lived that life and she was not her. Taking a very deep breath and unconsciously tightening her grip on Mirien's and Coryth's hands, Siobhan calmed herself. And so she began the process again, gently pulling at the tangled webs of the Force as she sought to guide the flood towards the holocron, very much acting in a supporting role to Mirien. But there was only so much she could blot out, as bit by bit Coryth's memories were not just being gently copied into the device, but imprinted upon her mind as well.

Then came the memory Coryth knew was coming. Mirien, in a burning hospital. Coryth at the ready, saber in hand to try and defend the dying girl in the bed. Grossly inexperienced in the force, in combat it didn't take long for the redhead to lose. The saber plunged through her thigh with a hideous hiss, flesh, muscle and bone burning as her leg collapsed beneath her. And all Coryth could do was watch as Ellie was stolen from the bed. With sheer luck, and another hospital worker she managed to escape the fire that surely would have ended her.

The terrible memories didn't last long for there soon was Andreas. She was sparing along after her injury with drones and the young man, only a year younger than she asked to share the training room, to work with her. It wasn't long and she had him on his back with her saber to his throat. The only conclusion: She asked him to dinner.

It wasn't long after that, that head over heels in love she let him take her to Naboo alone. At his Lake Cabin, they spent two sweet months swimming, playing ... even crocheting. She even used her invisibility to play pranks on the unsuspecting Andreas. There was even a padawan trip for swimming, where she tormented the others with her invisibility. For you see, She wasn't always the serious healer with a heart of gold. Nope, sometimes she was as playful as ever wanting to prank people when and where she could to bring laughter into the galaxy.

And it was here that Mirien almost stopped, frozen in place as she watched the entire experience with her darker self. The real her. The connection Mirien had to break off. She needed a moment. Her eyes welling with tears, she turned away from both Siobhan and Coryth. Getting up, sniffling she headed for the stairs, needing space. Needing distance. Horrified of what she had done to Coryth. Panting heavily, crying now.... she just couldn't face either one of them in that moment. Nothing could make up for what she'd done. To think that she was better than that, had overcome that? She didn't believe it for a second. The killer in her was still there, the one who enjoyed torture and pain ... the suffering of others ... That woman still existed and still was a part of her, even if she didn't remember.

There was pain so much pain. Horrific images Siobhan had never wanted to see as she found herself confronted with Mirien's darker self. Sio's mental barriers were less potent than Mirien's, and so when her lover's evil self plunged the sabre into Coryth, Siobhan felt something akin to burning pain surge through her. She felt the anguish Coryth had felt, both physical and emotional as Ellie was stolen from her bed and the hospital burnt down.

She could not resist the wave of anger and revulsion that swept towards. Hatred directed against Mirien...no, this was wrong. She did not hate Mirien. She never could. It was true that Mirien had done horrible things and hurt Coryth deeply, caused terrible pain. But that was not the Mirien Siobhan knew, she was different. There were other flashes in her mind now, of Mirien as she knew her. The woman who had given Siobhan her mind back, without regard for the price she might have to pay. The Mirien who had decisively turned on her former Bando Gora masters on that terrible day on the space hulk in orbit of Gehenna.

The hatred abated and gradually dissipated. Given how...erratic the mental exchange was, some of the memories Siobhan had of Mirien might be bleeding over to Coryth. Speaking of memories, Siobhan sensed Mirien withdraw from the procedure as the sudden loss of contact erupted. She would have gotten up to go after her, but, unfortunately, Mirien suddenly departing had the unintended side-effect of Siobhan now being far less able to stay afloat and navigate the raging ocean of Coryth's memories. Coincidentally, this happened just when Coryth was getting, how shall we put it, rather intimate with her fiancee. Her, one might add, very male fiancee.

Now, just to recapitulate, as is well-known Siobhan was a red-blooded lesbian and, moreover, very sexist. Now she found herself in the awkward situation of being drawn into Coryth's first kiss with Andreas. As a matter of fact, it was more extreme than that because she suddenly felt as if he was kissing her, whilst her brain was being flooded with Coryth's romantic, passion-filled thoughts about him. And so, suffice to say, her brain was telling her that she was really enjoying it. Things would soon turn to...crochet and, so vivid were the memories, that her body decided that she had enjoyed the waves of pleasure that overtook. Without wanting to give things away, she would need new panties because the ones she was wearing turned very moist and she was moaning in pleasure.

Congratulations, Coryth Elaris, by way of memory transfer you just gave Siobhan Kerrigan her first positive sexual experience with a man. Shaking strongly and extremely weirded out, even somewhat repelled, Siobhan finally managed to pull herself out of the ocean of memories. It had simply become too...intense and vivid for her. She breathed very heavily to the point where she was panting. Moreover, her face seemed drenched in sweat. So many memories had been transferred into the crystal, but many still had to be copied. A headache from hell was beating against her skull, making her feel as if she had been overloaded and was about to burst.

But...then she felt Mirien's pain. So strong and tangible that it almost seemed like her own. Her confused mind could wait, her lover needed her now. "We'll....continue later," she managed to say to Coryth before getting up, feeling rather wobbly on her legs as she closed the gap to Mirien and, from behind, pulled the woman into a hug. "You're not her anymore...you never will be. This doesn't change anything between us. Please, Mirien look at me."

Coryth felt Mirien pulled away, the horror the pain ... all of it. So raw, and so much in her mind. In her part she was still living in the memories. The beautiful experiences that had been made with Andreas. And even Siobhan's memories were starting to bleed into her, bringing a whole new strangeness to the confusion already at play.

Finally she snapped out of it and for a moment she only sat in shock, wondering how it must have felt to have seen that, to see the evil she had done. To know that she had nearly killed Coryth, but to know know she was not that person anymore. She couldn't even begin to imagine but Mirien's emotions bleeding into her gave her some idea as she held no defensive guard at that point.

As Siobhan pulled away, Coryth quickly threw her guards back up to protect herself from the onslaught of emotions which included Sio's lusty and confused thoughts. Her eyes followed as Siobhan chased after Mirien and for her part, Coryth actually started to feel for Mirien, starting to understand the woman's pain a little more. I can't even imagine how horrible it was to see that ... To know what she had done, from my view. Gods I pity her. That was a new experience to her. Pity ... She couldn't recall feeling that for anyone.

The tears came so easily as Mirien was coming into the realization that who she had been was a monster. A horrible, wicked human being. Her sobs soon followed as she cried out, in so much pain. The former Bando Gora acolyte couldn't breathe, gasping for air as she just sobbed. She shook her head, not wanting to look. "I.... I... am a monster." She finally choked out. "A monster."

"How can a monster like that ... be loved?" Every part of her now repulsed by what she had been. Hating that part of her that had done those things, been that person. Sickened that she could be anything close to that. Harsh words, and probably the most painful she'd ever uttered. And now, as she stood there, her knees grew weak, finally failing her as she could no longer support her own weight. It seemed her past had finally come crashing in on her present and the turmoil that came with was completely impossible to avoid.

Suffice to say, Sio's mind was now fully focused upon things other than the question whether her hundred per cent lesbian street cred was being undermined by her very lusty reaction to dream!sex with Andreas. Well, reliving Coryth's memories, whatever. Maybe Coryth was such a special snowflake that her memories were making Sio very slightly bi-curious.

As Mirien's knees grew weak and it seemed like she would fall, Siobhan's strong arms caught her. It looked a bit awkward because Siobhan herself was feeling rather wobbly on her legs, but she would not let her fall. "I love you," she declared firmly, voice choked with emotion. "And...I can't hate you. I won't. Even if you hate yourself...I won't let you," her arms wrapped around the former Bando Gora acolyte. There, she had said it, for good or ill. One might also note that Siobhan had not restored her mental barriers, and so as a consequence Mirien would be flooded with feelings from her.

One wondered how the exchange might affect Coryth, if the memory transfer turned out to be less than one-sided. Would she start feeling more affectionate towards Tegaea? Unconsciously motherly towards Galina? This was not even taking into account what might happen if she shared memories with Mirien or how her idealism and light side purity would be affected by touching the minds of the two 'dark is not evil' lovebirds.

Three words, eight letters. For a moment time just ceased to move, as Mirien heard those words resonate through her. Words that seemed so harmless, but they were everything. The could cut like a knife and destroy. Love could build, and love could break. The inquisitor in her, knew this. The Spy in her completely aware of the danger those words presented. In that moment, she realized Siobhan could be used against her should anything ever happen, and her against Sio. Attachments were dangerous. Attachments got you killed. Attachments brought innocents into the game. There was one key difference .... Mirien was already attached, and in over her head. Knew that, in the moment those words were spoken, she loved her too. And the idea, the idea couldn't have been more conflicting for her. She'd got to the ends of the Universe and back again for Siobhan, and knew it. Knew it.

I love you, too. Whispered as she touched Siobhan's mind, for she couldn't speak yet ... Still gasping for air between heartbreaking sobs.

For just a moment, a small moment she had forgotten the pains, the agony that brought her to this moment. After those words were spoken directly into Siobhan's mind... It all came flooding back.Finding her feet again she spun in Sio's grip, to face her. Instantly she buried her head into Siobhan's shoulder sobbing heavily as she clung on for dear life. Sio had been her life raft, the thing that kept her afloat when no one else would. And more than ever she needed that now, to make sense of the memories, of what she had been. But if Siobhan could love her still, that brought her much hope that things could be better. That maybe, just maybe she wasn't entirely the monster she once was.

Three words, eight letters...yet so complicated. Was Siobhan being unfaithful to Tegaea by making this confession and feeling this way for Mirien? For she loved her wife, who had stood by her through thick and thin and always believed in her, very deeply and was ready to go to hell and back for her. As a matter of fact, this was exactly what would happen in a few weeks. However, at the same time she could no longer deny that her feelings for Mirien went beyond mere affection.

As naive, trite and corny as it sounded, she did not want to lose either of them. It would hurt...very much, if she did. And how would Galina fit into this? There was also the simple fact that attachments were dangerous, but Siobhan had crossed that line so many times that she did not care. They were also both darksiders, but Siobhan could not care less about what Yoda had said. So her response was very simple, to the point and a tad corny. In other words, perfectly Siobhan. I know. For a a moment everything else was forgotten as she wrapped her arms around Mirien and pressed her body against her, offering the sobbing former Inquisitor what warmth and comfort she could. I know, love. One hand travelled across Mirien's back to rub across it in a hopefully soothing pattern.
